0:06 I guess it's May 20th I was gonna get
0:08 this out on Friday May 18th but he's got
0:12 busy and we had our meet up in Vancouver
0:15 yesterday I was well attended event it
0:17 was great good to see a lot of the
0:21 people in the room and put some faces to
0:24 names so yeah it was a great great
0:27 afternoon and Andrew and I did the
0:31 webinar for the annual or the full time
0:34 members on Thursday that was great so
0:37 anyway I just wanted to cover a trade I
0:41 did on Friday I actually screwed it up
0:43 and but it you know it was a good trade
0:44 and I do know some people took it and
0:47 made money on it which I'm you know
0:49 happy about
0:51 I didn't lose I just lost the Commission
0:54 on it i kicking myself for doing this
0:58 but anyway yeah m80 gapped down you know
1:00 we we were watching it at in the
1:02 pre-market I wasn't actually watching
1:05 this but one specifically Andrew hand
1:07 had had it and he caught it on the
1:09 opening range break down and you can see
1:12 here gave a nice nice breakdown at the
1:14 open didn't really didn't really wait at
1:16 all like you look here at the pre market
1:18 it was pretty steady just started to
1:20 taper off just prior to pre market and
1:22 it just dumped as soon as a market open
1:24 so you know he had a good chance you
1:26 missed this one you had a good chance on
1:30 this bull or this Bear Flag to answer it
1:31 and get lower like I said I didn't take
1:34 that trade but you know at 10 o'clock I
1:36 start looking for reversals double
1:40 bottoms and notice the m80 around here
1:43 and noticed it was not breaking to a
1:46 lower low so I mentioned it in the room
1:48 said it was watching it for a double
1:51 bottom minute or so later I took the
1:56 trade 48 62 was my entry and it started
1:59 looking pretty good if I had my stop
2:03 down at 48 50 but when it started
2:04 looking good I thought okay I'll just
2:07 move my I'll put my stop of 48 60 and I
2:08 used a hard stop on this because I was
2:10 looking at some other stocks I didn't
2:11 want to
2:14 get it so unfortunately that was really
2:16 that was the dumb part I should not have
2:19 used such a tight stop on this I should
2:21 I should have gone with what my original
2:23 thought was which was to put the stop
2:26 around 4850 and that would have given me
2:29 a 12 cent downside risk and I was
2:33 looking forward to break 49 which which
2:37 it did and 49 came from here so and a
2:38 whole number as well so that's kind of
2:41 where my risk reward was you know from
2:43 sixty to thirty-eight cents up twelve
2:46 cents down better than three to one so I
2:48 was you know pretty happy with that
2:50 trade and entry and like I said I just
2:52 put my stop in too tight and they came
2:55 down and tagged me right there Bank got
2:59 me so you know obviously pretty annoyed
3:03 that I made that poor judgment to move
3:06 my stop up so that's what happened and
3:09 you know it did a little more
3:12 consolidating here and then like took
3:14 off so and I think it actually went as
3:16 high as 50 but I know like I said I'm
3:18 happy some people took the trade didn't
3:20 get stopped out and made some money on
3:23 that so you know that's you know that's
3:26 good for them glad they took the trade
3:30 and shame on me for making a bit of an
3:35 error there so yeah when a couple people
3:36 commented why they don't why I'm not
3:38 showing price markers on some of my
3:40 charts quite often I'm not trading
3:44 through dose trade through my TD account
3:47 like trade through and then some
3:50 registered accounts I trade sometimes
3:52 I'm just watching tws because I have my
3:55 bigger watchlist there and I trade
3:57 through tws I don't you know I don't go
3:58 through the dust
4:01 I really just watch the dose primarily
4:03 for the view app because that's in in
4:04 some of the moving averages it's got
4:06 some good charting stuff but I just
4:08 haven't been using it that much it has
4:11 an actual trade vehicle so that's why
4:13 you don't see any price markers on my
4:18 one my charts so anyway that's it we'll
4:20 see everybody in the room Canadian
4:23 holiday tomorrow we'll be working
4:25 and guess we'll take the Memorial Day
4:28 weekend next weekend as a holiday so
4:30 hope everyone had a great weekend we had
4:32 a great time at the Vancouver Meetup and
4:34 hopefully we'll see everyone in the room
