0:45 alive enough to hear the answer?" The
0:48 seeker said, "I only want to know the
0:51 truth." Goraknath replied, "If you truly
0:54 wanted truth, you would not ask whether
0:56 the universe was created by God. You
0:58 would ask why you are asleep while being
1:00 alive. You would ask why your breath
1:03 comes and goes without your permission.
1:05 You would ask why thoughts keep
1:07 appearing without your invitation. But
1:10 you ask about God because God is safe.
1:13 God keeps you away from yourself." The
1:16 seeker tried to argue, "But everything
1:19 has a cause. Surely the universe must
1:21 have a creator. Goraknad struck the
1:24 ground with his staff and said, "This
1:27 surely is your disease." You are certain
1:30 about things you have never seen. You
1:32 say everything has a cause. Have you
1:34 seen the first cause or are you
1:36 repeating logic like a parrot repeats
1:39 mantras? Cause and effect belong to
1:42 small things. A pot has a potter, yes. A
1:45 house has a builder, yes. But existence
1:49 is not a pot. The sky is not built.
1:52 Space is not manufactured. Awareness is
1:54 not assembled. He leaned closer and
1:57 said, "You are trying to reduce the
1:59 infinite to the size of your mind. Your
2:02 mind works with beginnings and endings,
2:04 with birth and death, with before and
2:07 after. But existence is not within time.
2:10 Time is within existence. How will a
2:12 tool measure what contains the tool
2:15 itself?" The seeker said then are you
2:18 saying there is no god? Goraknath
2:20 laughed again. I am saying your question
2:23 is childish. First you invent a god then
2:26 you ask whether he created the universe.
2:28 This is like dreaming of a tiger and
2:31 then asking who fed it. Both the tiger
2:33 and the question are part of the dream.
2:37 He said listen carefully. Religion has
2:39 trained you to look outward. Philosophy
2:42 has trained you to think upward. Yoga
2:45 trains you to look inward. Tantra trains
2:48 you to look everywhere at once. I am not
2:50 interested in your beliefs. I am
2:52 interested in your awakening. The seeker
2:55 said, but scriptures say God created the
2:59 world. Goraknath replied, scriptures are
3:02 not truth. They are maps and most people
3:05 worship the map and never walk the land.
3:07 Scriptures were spoken to particular
3:10 minds in particular times. You are
3:12 swallowing words without digestion.
3:16 Truth is not something you inherit. It
3:18 is something you die into. He paused and
3:21 said slowly, "If God created the
3:23 universe, then God existed before the
3:26 universe. If God existed before the
3:28 universe, then existence is possible
3:31 without creation. If existence is
3:33 possible without creation, then your
3:36 question collapses." You see, one honest
3:39 look and the whole structure falls. The
3:42 seeker felt disturbed and asked then
3:45 what is this universe? Goraknad said
3:48 this universe is not a thing. It is an
3:51 event. It is happening not created. It
3:54 is like a flame. Where does the flame
3:57 begin? Where does it end? You can point
4:00 to wood, to fire, to smoke, but the
4:03 flame itself is movement. He said you
4:05 want a creator because you want
4:08 security. If there's a creator, then
4:10 there is a controller. If there's a
4:13 controller, then chaos is manageable. If
4:16 chaos is manageable, then your fear can
4:19 sleep. God is your li. The seeker
4:22 protested. Without God, is there no
4:26 morality? Goraknad's eyes became fears.
4:29 Morality imposed by fear is hypocrisy. A
4:31 man who is good because he fears
4:35 punishment is not good. He is obedient.
4:37 Awareness does not need commandments.
4:40 When you see clearly, compassion happens
4:43 naturally. The way fragrance comes from
4:46 a flower. He said, "You speak of God as
4:49 if God is outside existence watching
4:51 like a judge. This is the language of
4:54 kings and prisons. Existence does not
4:58 punish, it teaches. It does not reward,
5:01 it reveals." The seeker said, "But
5:04 people feel God. They experience God."
5:08 Goraknath nodded. "Yes, they experience
5:10 something, but they name it wrongly.
5:13 When the ego cracks, when silence
5:16 descends, when the eye loosens its grip,
5:20 a vastness is felt. Out of habit, they
5:23 call it God. The experience is real. The
5:26 explanation is false." He continued,
5:28 "The mind cannot tolerate emptiness.
5:31 When silence appears, the mind rushes to
5:34 label it. God is a label pasted on
5:37 silence by frightened minds. The seeker
5:40 asked softly, "Then what should I do?"
5:43 Goraknad said, "Stop seeking answers and
5:47 start destroying the seeker. Sit, watch,
5:50 breathe. Let thoughts rise and fall
5:52 without following them. Do not worship
5:55 them. Do not fight them. When the mind
5:58 becomes naked, truth stands revealed not
6:02 as an idea but as being. He said the
6:04 real question is not whether God created
6:07 the universe. The real question is why
6:09 you keep creating illusions and calling
6:12 them answers. The seeker said will I
6:16 ever know? Goraknad said knowing is the
6:19 last obstacle. Drop knowing B. In that
6:23 being the question evaporates. He added,
6:26 "For the ignorant, God is a belief. For
6:29 the intellectual, God is a problem. For
6:32 the awakened, God is unnecessary. The
6:36 seeker bowed, but Goraknat stopped him.
6:38 Do not bow to me. Boeing creates
6:41 hierarchy. Walk beside me, not below
6:45 me." He concluded, "Remember this, the
6:47 universe does not need a creator, but
6:50 you need courage. The courage to stand
6:53 without beliefs. The courage to live
6:55 without borrowed meanings. The courage
6:58 to dissolve. When you dissolve, what
7:01 remains is neither God nor universe nor
7:04 self. Only the silent roaring suchness.
7:08 And in that suchness, all questions die.
7:11 And Goraknath did not stop there. He
7:13 looked at the seeker as if carving these
7:15 words directly into his marrow and
7:17 continued. You think courage means
7:20 fighting, concurring, becoming strong in
7:22 the eyes of others. That is covered eyes
7:25 dressed as armor. The courage I speak of
7:28 is far more dangerous. It is the courage
7:30 to be nobody. It is the courage to let
7:33 your identity collapse without replacing
7:35 it with a new costume. Most people
7:38 change presents and call it freedom.
7:40 They drop one belief only to grab
7:43 another. They leave one god and invent a
7:46 subtler one. This is not courage. This
7:50 is fear changing masks. He said standing
7:52 without beliefs means standing without
7:54 ground. The mind wants ground
7:57 conclusions. Answers because ground
8:00 gives the illusion of safety. But truth
8:03 is groundless. Existence is a free fall.
8:06 Only those who dare to fall endlessly
8:08 discover that there is no bottom to hit.
8:11 He continued, "Borrowed meanings are the
8:14 heaviest chains. Your parents gave you
8:17 meaning. Society gave you meaning.
8:19 Religion gave you meaning. Even
8:22 rebellion gives you meaning. You have
8:24 never tasted life without
8:26 interpretation. You see through words,
8:29 not through eyes. You hear through
8:32 memory, not through ears. drop meanings
8:35 and the world becomes unbearably alive.
8:37 Colors burn brighter. Silence becomes
8:40 thunder. Life stops being a concept and
8:43 becomes a wound and a wonder at once.
8:46 Goraknut's voice grew quiet, almost like

8:51 does not mean disappearing into
8:54 nothingness the way you imagine.
8:56 Dissolving means the false center melts.

9:34 enough to dance with existence. He
9:36 paused and said, "When I say neither God
9:39 nor universe remains, I do not mean they
9:43 vanish. I mean the divisions vanish. God
9:45 was a projection. The universe was an
9:48 object and you were the observer. When
9:51 you dissolve, this triangle collapses.
9:54 There is no observer here. No observe
9:56 there. There is only happening." He
9:59 smiled slightly and said, "Suchness is
10:03 not mystical. It is utterly ordinary and
10:05 that is why you miss it. The sound of
10:08 wind, the ache in your knees, the breath
10:11 touching the nostrils, the fading of a
10:13 thought before it finishes. This is
10:16 suchness. Silent because it has no
10:19 commentary. Roaring because it is
10:22 overflowing with life." Goraknath added,
10:24 "Questions die not because answers are
10:27 found, but because the questioner is
10:30 gone. A question needs an eye to
10:34 survive. Without an I, questions fall
10:36 like sparks into water." He looked

10:42 doctrine. That would be another

11:04 walls. Walk without leaning on
11:06 conclusions. Life without rehearsing
11:09 meaning. Die every moment to what you
11:12 think you are. In that continuous dying,
11:15 life reveals itself. Not as God, not as
11:19 universe, not as you, but as this naked,
