0:01 In this video, I'm going to be breaking
0:03 down how you can actually go pro in
0:05 Chapter 7, Season 2 and start making
0:07 your first real money from this game. As
0:08 most of you guys know, I'm an FNCS
0:11 champion with over $700,000 earned. And
0:13 after 7 years competing at the highest
0:15 level, I want to use what I've learned
0:17 to help you take that first step towards
0:18 going pro this season. I asked you guys
0:20 across all my socials what questions you
0:23 guys had about going pro, making money,
0:25 improving, and what actually matters if
0:26 you want to compete at the next level.
0:28 So throughout this video, I'm going to
0:29 be answering those questions and
0:31 breaking down everything in a way that
0:32 actually makes sense. And with all the
0:34 opportunities to earn in Chapter 7,
0:35 Season 2, there's never been a better
0:36 time to start grinding. So if you're
0:38 serious about going pro, drop a like,
0:39 subscribe, and let's get right into the
0:41 questions. First question I have is
0:43 what's a good starter tournament? The
0:46 best way to answer this question is that
0:48 best starter tournament is I would say a
0:50 victory cash cup, solar victory cash is
0:52 where you first understand how to play
0:54 alone and understand that you have to
0:56 ideal yourself. You have to find a drop
0:58 spot. You have to do things for yourself
1:00 as you're playing solos, but also it's
1:02 easier to qualify because it's not top
1:04 50 in a finals lobby. You're in a top a
1:06 thousand situation, top 2,000 situation
1:08 if you are on the EU and of course so on
1:10 for other regions. And it's easier for
1:13 you to qualify and basically learn a lot
1:15 from that tournament. So I would say
1:17 good starting tournament solar victory
1:19 cashs. Second question, do you think
1:20 that zip lines can be used smartly in
1:23 comp? I personally think that zip lines
1:24 are not going to be useful at all in
1:27 this season. In endgame or mid game, I
1:29 think maybe early game where you just
1:30 want to loot faster, you get the gun,
1:32 you shoot it, and then you hit it just
1:35 to go to loot your your POI faster. I
1:36 would say that's like kind of the only
1:38 situation to use it. But if I do see
1:40 someone use a zipline in game, you're
1:41 probably going to get 200 out of the
1:43 sky. Next question. How can I improve
1:45 and make the right calls as an IGL to
1:46 lead my frag to success, especially have
1:49 good awareness? So, the thing with all
1:51 just just practicing, right? and rinse
1:53 and repeating like scrims. You have to
1:55 play scrims. You cannot get better at
1:57 iging if you don't understand your
1:59 mistakes in your scrim games to actually
2:01 apply that in a real tournament. So in
2:03 the season, I thinking is super
2:04 important and having good awareness is
2:05 something that you just have to practice
2:08 and understand to get over time as you
2:10 understand that as you keep playing. So
2:13 just keep practicing grindy scrims and
2:15 bot reviewing and you'll understand what
2:17 to do in situations if you keep playing
2:19 them in scrims. Right. Next question. Do
2:20 you have a strategy when you play out
2:22 end games other than rotating early and
2:23 looking for refreshes? A lot of the time
2:25 endame feels like a huge free-for-all.
2:27 Should it feel this way or what can you
2:28 control it? I mean, it's really easy to
2:30 control end games if you know what
2:31 you're going to be doing on what zone,
2:33 right? And how to be pulling, right? Cuz
2:35 sometimes you pull zone, sometimes you
2:37 don't, right? And it's like the
2:38 situation that you put yourself in
2:40 beforehand, right? Like you have the
2:42 rotation items to be able to rotate
2:44 early. Do you have the items or mats?
2:46 Right? If you don't have mats, you have
2:49 to look for a refresh. If you have mats,
2:50 you don't have to look for a refresh and
2:51 you could be one of the teams staying
2:53 front looking back for all these kids
2:55 jumping in on each other, right? There's
2:57 a way of like controlling yourself just
2:59 having the right resources, right? It's
3:00 probably a free-for-all. You probably
3:02 think that way because you don't have
3:04 mats. You don't have rotation. You're
3:05 not going to end game stack. You need to
3:07 be more stacked. You need to understand
3:09 how to play midame better if anything to
3:11 get into a better endame scenario to be
3:13 able to play like the pros. And another
3:15 thing is just you just watch Invad Pro
3:17 players in endgame and see how they win
3:19 these games, what decisions they make in
3:20 the end game to, you know what I'm
3:23 saying, to get better. So next question,
3:24 how to fight on high ping. So I get this
3:26 question a lot about how to fight on
3:28 high ping. And I think high ping is
3:29 something where like there's so much
3:30 that you can't control, right? Like
3:32 getting shot through builds, holding a
3:33 wall. And I think fighting on high ping,
3:35 I think the best answer is just just
3:37 don't don't try to fight. And of course,
3:39 if you are forced in a situation to
3:41 fight, this meta especially is a gunout
3:42 meta, right? If you have your gun out
3:44 with the Jawa shotgun, you can literally
3:46 just hit someone for 150. Like, don't
3:48 try to play for peace. Don't try to play
3:50 for a wall play, right? If anything, you
3:52 play super defensive. So, if they fight
3:54 you, you get to get the damage first
3:56 back, right? Like, if you edit on them,
3:57 take good angles, right? I think that's
4:00 the best way to fight on I ping is just
4:02 playing defense and letting the other
4:03 opponent make the mistake. Next
4:05 question. What should we pay attention
4:07 to when we're looking for a duo? I think
4:08 paying attention for duos, these are the
4:10 most three important things, right? Are
4:11 you the IGL? Are you the fragger? If
4:13 you're a fragger, want to play with
4:15 someone that's a good IGL, right? And of
4:16 course, someone that has good vibes,
4:19 good energy, someone that has good
4:21 communications also and also that's
4:22 someone that's actually good at the
4:24 game, right? At the end of the day, if
4:25 you care about all that stuff that will
4:27 make you and you guys are willing both
4:29 of you guys to grind and learn together,
4:30 you'll be fine. But if you guys just
4:32 genuinely just play tournaments, don't
4:34 talk to each other, don't try to learn
4:35 how are you going to get better, how are
4:36 you going to get like how you going to
4:38 become a better player, a duo, right?
4:40 You have to learn together. You have to
4:41 do things together. You have to make
4:43 mistakes together, right? And that will
4:45 make you like you find a teammate like
4:48 knowing if someone's like has those like
4:49 components on them, right? That could
4:51 just take criticism. Well, want to
4:53 learn, right? Those is what that is what
4:55 you should be looking for in a dual.
4:56 Next question. How am I able to drop 19
4:58 and 24 kills in ranked, but I can't
5:00 fight all in tournaments. So, in ranked,
5:02 I would say the games are just not
5:04 anything close to tournaments, right?
5:05 Like ranked, you could just do whatever
5:07 you want. Tournaments, people are
5:08 playing differently. People want to
5:10 actually people are playing like their
5:11 life's on the line, right? Because it's
5:12 a tournament. Like they're not playing
5:14 like it's ranked. If anything, you
5:16 should just genuinely be trying to fight
5:18 in tournaments and understand what
5:19 you're doing wrong in these tournaments,
5:20 right? Like in these rank games, are you
5:22 getting third party? Are you just out in
5:24 the open and these kids are way worse
5:25 than the players in tournaments, right?
5:26 Then you're just not fighting on the
5:28 right skill level. You need to just be
5:31 taking ranked as like kind of a warm-up
5:34 and then actually trying to apply
5:36 different things also in creative
5:38 against but better players and try to
5:39 take that into tournaments. If you want
5:41 to compete at the highest Fortnite level
5:43 just like me, staying healthy actually
5:45 matters way more than people actually
5:47 think. One of the biggest things is
5:48 eating before tournaments. If I queue
5:51 into scrims or FNCS without eating
5:52 first, I can literally feel the
5:54 difference in my focus and gameplay.
5:56 When you're grinding for hours or
5:58 playing a six game tournament set, you
5:59 need the energy to stay locked in.
6:01 That's why I started using HelloFresh.
6:03 They send fresh pre-portioned
6:05 ingredients and easy step-by-step
6:07 recipes straight to your door, so you
6:09 can cook real home-cooked meals without
6:11 wasting time grocery shopping or
6:12 planning everything yourself. It's
6:14 honestly perfect while you're grinding
6:16 all day, but you want to eat something
6:18 healthy and quick to make. HelloFresh is
6:20 also America's number one meal kit. And
6:21 right now they're running a limited time
6:24 offer where you get 10 free meals and
6:26 free breakfast for life. Just click my
6:28 link down below and use my code before
6:30 the deal is gone. Next question. What is
6:31 the best way to get high ground in this
6:33 meta? I think high ground on this meta
6:34 is something where you have to hold the
6:36 fist. Like the nitro fist, you have to
6:38 hold it and you just need to be the ones
6:40 to kind of hold it on half, right? I
6:42 think players on half and half that have
6:43 it end up typically winning the game
6:45 with the fist just because you camp out
6:47 a fall damage and sky basing is kind of
6:50 like the best way to hold height this
6:51 this meta. So I think taking it from
6:53 half is really really important this
6:54 season. Next question is what heal
6:56 should I mostly carry? I think I mean
6:58 this is the most updated right now. They
7:00 just added slap pizza to the game. Chug splashes
7:02 splashes
7:04 and chug jug. Right. So I think chug
7:05 jug, chug splashes, slap pizza. These
7:07 are the best three heals to hold. Of
7:08 course if you can't find venomous hold
7:10 them as well.
7:12 Next question. How do you play when the
7:13 moving zones only pull through old
7:14 builds? I've died to this a couple of
7:16 times. So, it breaks through old builds.
7:17 What you need to be doing is being one
7:19 of the first teams to go front and
7:21 breaking through all the old builds
7:22 together. Like you and your dual need to
7:23 be blocking your back, breaking through,
7:25 try to make your own layer. You just
7:27 have to make sure you get out of that
7:30 situation to make your own boxes, but of
7:33 course, push through. Next question. How
7:35 to rotate with new grenades. Is it
7:36 better to go and use it as shocks or use
7:38 it in a finish? I personally think I've
7:41 had better luck and better rotations
7:43 using the sprint. I think using it as a
7:46 shock makes it really like so
7:48 unpredictable where you could just get
7:50 200 out the sky. I think throwing it
7:52 down and using it with the sprint item
7:54 allows you to just control your game
7:55 better if that makes sense. So I think
7:57 sprint item is really better with the
7:59 shocks. That's not how to pass the
8:02 division that you how to get the pass.
8:03 The division that gives you zero points
8:05 when you eliminate someone. You have to
8:07 win every game. try to play for a
8:09 perfect end game. Try to of course you
8:11 can't always win every game with zero
8:13 kills. But if you just play the end game
8:16 perfectly where you play end game every
8:18 single game in end game you stay front.
8:20 Of course when you look for refreshes to
8:22 allow you to stay front and just play
8:23 low ground and try to win every game or
8:25 play height. It's one or the other. Just
8:27 try to force yourself in a situation
8:28 where you have height or low ground.
8:30 Right. Next question. How to reset your
8:32 mental after unlocking bad game. How to
8:34 reset your mental. That's something that
8:36 I cannot help you with. Resetting your
8:37 mental is something you need to work on,
8:38 right? Like why are you so mad about
8:40 that game? Did you sell your teammates?
8:42 So who cares? Like get into the next
8:44 game. Be great in the next game. Stop
8:46 crying about the last game. Like that
8:49 just makes you just such a like person
8:52 that just like nobody wants to see. You
8:53 know what I'm saying? Like your own
8:55 mental that's your own battle. If you
8:56 can't fix that, no one can help you,
9:00 right? But to reset it, just literally
9:01 do great the next game. Like why do you
9:02 care about the last game that happened?
9:04 learn from it. Get it to the next game.
9:05 There's always going to be another
9:07 tournament. Fix it.
9:09 Next question. What do you look for when
9:10 finding a new drop? I think the best
9:12 things to look for when looking for a
9:14 new drop is mats. How fast you can get
9:16 them. If there's good wood, brick, and
9:18 metal, the loot, how good the loot is
9:21 there, how good the um positioning is,
9:23 right? If your edge map, if you're stuck
9:25 on a bad spot, it's not going to be as
9:27 good as you think as like kind of a mid
9:29 middle map spot, right? And then of
9:32 course um last thing is like what items
9:33 can you get from this drop? Is it a
9:36 mythic spot? If is it not right? And
9:38 that's kind of what I look for. Next
9:40 question. Do you think playing heavy
9:42 storm will be a viable strategy without
9:44 movement items? No. If you don't have
9:45 heavy if you don't have good movement
9:47 items or you have no way of getting out
9:48 of zone, there's genuinely no way you
9:51 can play zone because you will die to to
9:52 storm or you'll come out and you're just
9:54 going to die. So make sure you have good
9:56 movement items and you have strategy if
9:57 you're going to play zone. Next
9:58 question. How should we treat the actual
10:00 game and tournaments this season? Should
10:02 we WT or use a safe game? A safe game.
10:04 You want to use it every single game as
10:06 an end game because tournament the games
10:07 are shorter this season. So, they end
10:09 shorter. So, you can actually play every
10:11 single game out. So, just make sure you
10:12 play every single end game. What is
10:14 better for this meta, landing edge map
10:16 or center? I personally think center is
10:18 really good this season. And of course,
10:19 edge map works if you do have a really
10:22 good storm plan, but center is probably
10:24 the best option you have this season.
10:26 Next question. When me and my dude are
10:28 rotating at 50 people at game where are
10:30 tarping. What do I do? Look for when I
10:32 try to find refreshes. I seem to not
10:34 find any. Sometimes we run out of mats
10:37 at how to be more aggressive. Do things
10:39 together. You see someone fighting, go
10:41 get a pre-edit, run at it. Fight it.
10:43 Even if you have two two mats, try to
10:45 look for something. Don't be scared to
10:46 fight. If you guys know you're a good
10:48 duo, go and fight it. If you're on a
10:50 wall, play for awareness check. There's
10:51 so many things you can do in any game, right?
10:52 right?
10:55 and just be more aware of like what's
10:56 happening around you. Maybe you're just
10:58 playing too safe. Like go out and look.
11:00 Right. Next question. How to decide what
11:02 fights to take in mid game and where and
11:04 when where to disengage a fight. I think
11:05 the best way to take a fight is like do
11:08 you get a fry? Like do you fry them? If
11:09 you fry them, go key it, right? And when
11:11 you key it, let's say they're making a
11:13 million boxes. Disengage. Why are you
11:15 trying to fight someone that's making 10
11:16 million boxes? If they're fighting you
11:17 back, it's one thing. They're fighting
11:19 you back, fight it. because that fight
11:21 will probably end soon because someone
11:23 will die in that fight. Either you or
11:25 them. But if it's like you just see a
11:26 team in front of you, you don't know
11:27 what they have. You don't know how much
11:28 damage and you don't you're not
11:29 confident in your ability to fight,
11:30 don't fight that. Of course, you think
11:32 you can just kill them instantly. Next
11:34 question. What are the best all strats
11:36 other than obviously like drop code?
11:38 That makes no sense. Okay, first of all,
11:39 this question is so like dependent on
11:42 the drop, right? Also at a 50/50 drop,
11:45 you have to 50/50. At a spot where you
11:47 can split it, you split it, right?
11:49 There's not really a best offspawn strat
11:51 and that depends on every single
11:53 scenario. There might be one drop that
11:55 has something that you get a slurp truck
11:56 at the start of the game. Another drop
11:58 where you have this off. You know what
11:59 I'm saying? It's this question is too
12:01 hard to answer just because there's
12:03 20,000 different spots on the map that
12:06 you can land and it's dependent on where
12:07 you went. Next question is how do I
12:09 solify my drop spot every time I'm
12:10 calling or sort of how do I build a
12:13 confidence to land somewhere every time?
12:16 Get a good drop. Practice your drop.
12:18 Practice all spawning. If you're
12:19 swerving, you're not practicing. You're
12:21 not putting in the time. Learn how to do
12:23 that better and understand it. Next
12:24 question. How do I close out fights
12:26 quickly using the new items? And how do
12:28 I get better and not getting separated
12:29 losing my duo on half and half first
12:30 movement zones consistently? Fighting
12:32 with the new items. You can't close out
12:34 fights quickly. That's just not how
12:35 things work. Like unless of course
12:36 you're the best player in the
12:38 game and you can just 200 somebody piece
12:40 them 200, right? But closing out fights,
12:42 that's something you need to work on.
12:43 You need to get better at. If you're not
12:45 good at fighting, that's on you. I can't
12:46 help you with that. You have to start
12:47 grinding, right? And how do I get better
12:49 at not getting separated in my duo? Look
12:51 at where they're at. You're probably
12:52 losing them because you're tunnel
12:54 visioning. You're not aware of where
12:55 they're at. Look at where they are on
12:57 the map. You can see them anywhere. Just
12:59 follow them, right? And just find where
13:02 they are. How like separating your do or
13:03 lose your door in half and after moving.
13:04 That's got to be on you if you're the
13:06 frag, right? If you're the different
13:07 that guy need to be following you. Just
13:09 find where they at and try to get to
13:11 them. Next question. How to save as many
13:12 mats as possible in end game to know
13:14 when to summon summoners. Right. Well,
13:15 in end game I hear too many sounds and I
13:16 don't know if they're pressuring you.
13:17 This is awareness thing, right? Like if
13:19 you can't understand what sounds sound
13:22 like the guy next to you and from far
13:23 away that's something that you need to
13:25 work work on by playing more scrims,
13:27 understanding end games and save as many
13:30 mats as possible is not like viable in
13:32 Fortnite, right? You can save mats by
13:34 not building as much, but you're going
13:35 to end up having to get a refresh
13:36 because you're going to end up dying if
13:38 you don't run out of mats. So look, so
13:40 play it smart. Tarp ahead. Look for a
13:42 refresh together. If you don't find it,
13:44 don't find it. If you find it, good. You
13:45 don't find it, stay front, next zone.
13:47 Next zone post, go to it. You'll always
13:48 have an opportunity to look for a kill
13:50 and just keep playing strips and
13:51 practicing that. Next question. How do I
13:53 find good teammates that I won't drop
13:54 after a tournament? Serious question.
13:55 How do you find good teammates that
13:57 won't drop after? So, this ends up
13:58 coming down to you, right? Like, you
14:00 play with teammates,
14:02 right? You do well with them. You find
14:04 better teammates, you do well with them,
14:05 and then let's say you find a better
14:08 teammate, but you sell them. Why? Like,
14:09 you sold. You know what I'm saying? If
14:11 you're really that good, you should not
14:14 be getting dropped because you shouldn't
14:16 be selling. He should be. If he sold, it
14:17 makes sense, right? To for you to drop
14:19 him. But if you sold, then that's on
14:21 you. You got to get back and lock in and
14:24 do your work and get better, right? Next
14:26 question. How do I stop dying mid game?
14:27 Probably your rotates your bag. That's
14:29 super vague question cuz there's a
14:30 million different ways you can die mid
14:31 game. Like just go center, box up, or
14:33 just go AFK. Why are we even like trying
14:34 to fight? Why are you fighting? Why are
14:36 you rotating badly? Like stay front.
14:38 Just see the rotate, go front, box up,
14:40 right? How do I use the mobility? Right.
14:42 How do I use the mobility? Right. Um,
14:44 right now there's fist and and shocks. I
14:46 like to use shocks the way where you use
14:48 it to of course if you're above a hill,
14:49 you have to shock off. But if you're
14:52 like like kind of like on a layer with a
14:54 run, you can use the run ability, the
14:56 infinite sprint. And then fist, you just
14:57 fist in the sky and just fist straight.
14:59 Like it's not really that hard. You fist
15:01 box. Fist fist box. Right. Next
15:03 question. If you are a complete
15:05 beginner, how to rotate in barely no
15:06 movement meta? I mean, right now this is
15:08 not a no movement meta. There's fist and
15:11 shock waves, so you can't really be
15:13 like, it's not a no barely movement,
15:15 right? All you have to do is just shock,
15:17 get in front, box up, shock again, use
15:19 the shock, infinite run, you can run,
15:21 build, like get front. It's not really
15:23 too hard of a rotation. How to be
15:24 confident solos and how to finish fights
15:26 back. How to be confident solos. I can't
15:28 help you be confident. You have to learn
15:29 that on your own life. I can't be like,
15:31 "Oh, you got this. You got this." You
15:32 know what I'm saying? Like people aren't
15:33 going to always be there. You got to
15:35 lock in for yourself and how to finish
15:36 fights fast. That's another thing you
15:38 need to work on. Go into creative. Start
15:40 fighting people. Try to kill them as
15:42 fast as possible. Keep keep practicing
15:43 creative. Fight better players. Load
15:45 into like box fight maps. Try to just
15:48 peace people. Kill them quickly. Learn
15:50 that. Be confident in your fighting,
15:52 right? And as soon as you build that
15:53 confidence in creative, you can bring
15:54 that into the game. Next question. How
15:58 to avoid enemies/playment in solo. Avoid
15:59 enemies is not something you can do
16:01 because there's a lot of them around the
16:03 map if you're in solos. But you have to
16:04 just make sure you have good rotation
16:07 timings so you get past people. Play
16:08 placement. Just go center map and go
16:10 AFK. Like there's no point in like being
16:12 out in the open where you can get fried
16:13 lurped up on and then someone can key
16:15 you, right? I think if you're boxed up,
16:17 people don't key you as much. Last
16:18 question. What is the load out to do in
16:19 comp? I think the best load out in this
16:23 comp season, it is the Jawa shotgun. I
16:24 think one of you guys have to hold Jawa,
16:26 one of you guys hold iron. The Nemesis
16:28 AR is the best. And then you hold either
16:30 nitro fist, double nitro fist, double
16:32 shocks, and then of course 12 chugs,
16:34 chug chug, whatever, and or pizza. So
16:35 that's it for all the questions. Thank
16:37 you guys for watching this video. I'm g
16:38 go right into the ending. Let's do it.
