0:04 hello and welcome back to the link to
0:06 feed training series this video is going
0:08 to cover logging in as well as offer a
0:11 general orientation to the dashboard
0:13 to start off with linkedin feed is not
0:15 compatible with internet explorer
0:17 i'm using google chrome but you can also
0:19 use safari firefox or other popular browsers
0:21 browsers
0:23 another important feature is that
0:25 link2feed has both a test site as well
0:27 as the live site
0:29 the test site offers the ability to play
0:31 practice and use all the features
0:33 without worrying about impacting any of
0:35 the real information
0:37 it is important to know which site
0:38 you're logging into especially if you're
0:40 going to be entering data and creating profiles
0:42 profiles
0:43 any information entered into the test
0:45 site will not transfer over to the live
0:46 site and you don't want to waste your time
0:48 time
0:50 the test site will have this red flag in
0:52 the center indicating this is the
0:54 testing server as well as the word test
0:57 up here in the url
0:59 if i switch tabs over to the live site i
1:00 have here
1:02 you'll see that it doesn't have that red
1:04 notification in the center and does not
1:10 today we're going to log into the test
1:12 site and if you're following along you
1:15 can use this information here
1:17 when entering your username and password
1:19 it's important to note that it is case sensitive
1:20 sensitive
1:22 meaning that if your password has this
1:23 capital letter you want to make sure
1:26 you're typing the capital letter as well
1:27 as any other symbols that are part of
1:30 your password
1:32 if you incorrectly enter your password
1:34 three times in a row link to feed will
1:35 lock you out and you will need to have
1:37 another user manually unlock your account
1:39 account
1:40 those details are covered in the
1:43 administration video
1:45 one tip to avoid that issue
1:47 is that if you have two unsuccessful
1:50 attempts you can click the i forgot my
1:51 password option
1:53 and link to feed will send an email to
1:55 your username with instructions for how
1:57 to reset your password
2:00 it is recommended that your
2:02 organization has at least two users that
2:04 are familiar with link to feed so that
2:06 if you do incorrectly enter a password
2:09 three times in a row you have a backup
2:12 plan to unlock your account
2:14 when you've made sure that your username
2:16 and password are correctly entered go
2:22 this is the first page you'll see when
2:25 you log in and i refer to it as a pre dashboard
2:27 dashboard
2:29 here are applications and the only one
2:31 that we want to worry about
2:33 case management
2:34 if you're already somewhat familiar with
2:36 link to feed you may remember it used to
2:38 be called client intake
2:41 when you find case management click open
2:42 and that will navigate us to the dashboard
2:43 dashboard [Music]
2:45 [Music]
2:48 the left hand side is your navigation bar
2:49 bar
2:51 these other options will be reviewed in
2:52 other videos
2:55 the dashboard also offers a place for
2:56 announcements from link to feed which
2:58 will notify you if any updates are
3:00 coming out soon
3:02 it will also have a daily tally of
3:03 households and individuals that have
3:08 additionally there will be a six months overview
3:09 overview
3:11 since this is the test site this data
3:13 might look kind of funny but it'll make
3:16 more sense on the live site
3:18 as we scroll down you will find your
3:20 search bar this is where you will search
3:23 for client profiles and or create a new
3:26 client profile in order to add someone
3:30 the last item on the dashboard is the
3:33 most recently accessed client records
3:35 this will show you profiles you might
3:37 have recently opened but it won't be a
3:39 conclusive list it also occasionally
3:42 resets and you can also manually clear
3:44 the history but that doesn't mean you're
3:46 losing the information it's just
3:48 refreshing the list and you can always
3:51 find the profile you're looking for by
