0:18 for good swing trades so I'm just
0:23 following this up with a video here and
0:24 I'll just show you one swing trade I did
0:27 recently that worked out really well and
0:31 why I entered the trade yeah so this is
0:35 a company called quitting or QD could
0:38 you know sailing you're right recent IPO
0:40 and you can see the daily action on the
0:44 thing it first day will opened it closed
0:47 down or drop down and then came back up
0:49 the next day and then it kind of just
0:52 started to sell off occasional update
0:55 but for the most part just sold off you
0:57 can see here though that this take is
1:00 what really got my interest you can see
1:04 here how it made made a new low from
1:07 this previous day but then it reversed
1:13 buyers came in obviously and just pushed
1:14 the thing up and you can see it it
1:17 finished well above the previous day's
1:21 high so a nice real nice reversal day on
1:24 this stock so I really thought that this
1:29 gave a nice indicator and for for a
1:30 swing trade and one of the things I
1:33 talked about in my swing trade blog was
1:37 how you know your timing so given the
1:39 fact that this is in sort of a downtrend
1:41 anyway I kind of felt that this would I
1:44 probably be just an overnight swing
1:49 trade so taking a look at how that
1:52 traded during the day you can see here
1:56 it again it started started sort of at
1:58 the previous day's close sold off went
2:01 to a new low and then it just came back
2:05 up here and sold off a little bit then
2:08 started to consolidate above the
2:12 previous day's close and what really
2:13 again got my interest
2:16 was this really nice clothes that it
2:19 made into the day into the end of the
2:21 day you can see here you know kind of
2:24 making a nice wave pattern selling off a
2:29 little higher low another higher low and
2:31 then a really nice strong clothes and
2:32 that's the other thing I really like
2:35 when I'm doing a swing trade
2:37 particularly overnight I like to see a
2:40 strong clothes in to the end of the day
2:42 so I started scaling in a little bit
2:46 here and took some took some more added
2:48 to my position making sure that it
2:51 wasn't gonna you know tail off here but
2:54 added it on to my position as the you
2:56 know day ended and the stock continued
2:58 to show strength into the clothes so I
3:00 really like the way it closed
3:03 I like the daily as I already discussed
3:06 and I like the way it closed so I held
3:09 this position I took it took it home as
3:11 they say and you can see it worked out
3:12 really well
3:15 gapped up nicely I took a little bit off
3:20 at the open and then I just I sort of
3:21 watched it just to make sure it wasn't
3:24 gonna you know go back to the previous
3:27 day's close I did a little sell-off
3:29 which you know you usually expect people
3:32 start taking profits like me and and
3:35 then it pushed higher so I think I took
3:38 some off you know somewhere around here
3:39 twenty seven fifty I can't remember
3:43 exactly where I ended up closing up my
3:47 position but you know really nice really
3:49 nice swing trade overnight swing trade
3:51 and had all the elements of a good
3:55 overnight swing trade - like I said no
3:58 risk of binary events no earnings no
4:00 announcements coming no secondary
4:02 offerings because it was a fresh sort of
4:06 a fresh IPO so I really liked I really
4:08 liked the whole thing you know there's
4:10 always a risk it's you know it's gonna
4:13 end up down here opening and you know
4:16 you're gonna lose money on it but this
4:18 one had in my mind had a good
4:21 probability of being a successful
4:23 overnight hold and that's the way it
4:27 turned out on this in this case so
4:29 profitable trading everyone hopefully
