0:01 House Targaryen is one of the most
0:04 influential and powerful houses in all
0:06 of Westeros. Even well before their rule
0:08 in Westeros ever began, they were still
0:10 extremely powerful. They were able to
0:12 master using dragons to fight for them.
0:13 And because of this, they were an
0:16 unstoppable force. That is until the
0:17 Doom of Valyria came where many
0:19 different natural disasters occurred,
0:21 wiping out pretty much all life on this
0:23 land. Fortunately for the Targaryenss,
0:25 their bloodline didn't end here. As
0:27 Denise, the dreamer, was able to foresee
0:28 this event happening before it ever
0:30 occurred. She managed to convince her
0:32 father to leave the capital and head to
0:34 the island known as Dragonstone. He
0:36 brought her, their family, and some
0:37 dragons to this island, even though they
0:39 were mocked for doing so by the other
0:41 nobles. 12 years after packing up their
0:43 bags and moving, the doom of Valyria
0:44 finally came, and everyone that doubted
0:46 the decision for them to move inevitably
0:48 died. Here on Dragonstone, the
0:50 Targaryenss lived and tried building a
0:51 new life. It wasn't until a couple of
0:53 generations later where their new reign
0:55 would truly begin with the birth of
0:57 Aegon the Conqueror. He went west to the
0:59 seven kingdoms of Westeros with the goal
1:01 of ruling over all of them as one
1:03 unified realm. He managed to accomplish
1:05 this goal with the aid of his dragons as
1:08 well as his sisters who were also his
1:10 wives. And history was then made. The
1:12 Targaryenss ruled the seven kingdoms for
1:15 nearly 300 years until one house came
1:17 and put a stop to all of that. Well
1:19 before House Baratheon took the iron
1:21 throne from the Targaryenss. This house
1:23 was ironically founded thanks to Aegon
1:25 the Conqueror himself. Orus Baratheon,
1:27 who was a general in Aegon's army, was
1:29 given the land known as Storm's End for
1:30 his accomplishments in battle. Here, he
1:33 became the lord of Stormz and founded
1:35 his very own house. For centuries, the
1:37 Baratheians managed to maintain their
1:39 rule in this land, never falling once,
1:40 no matter how many sieges occurred,
1:42 mostly due to the defenses that the
1:43 fortress offered. When Robert's
1:45 rebellion against the Iron Throne
1:47 occurred, Storm Zen was almost lost for
1:48 the very first time. House Tyrell, who
1:50 remained loyal to the mad king, besieged
1:53 the remaining Baratheon forces, in which
1:54 Stannis was the commanding leader here.
1:56 This occurred for over a year in which
1:58 everyone inside of Storm's inn, all
2:00 nearly starved to death. Thankfully, the
2:02 war came to an end. Robert, of course,
2:03 took the throne for himself, and to
2:05 Stannis's displeasure, he was made the
2:07 lord of Dragonstone. Their youngest
2:09 infant brother, Renley, was made Lord of
2:11 Storm's End. Unfortunately, as we all
2:12 know, all three of these brothers will
2:14 inevitably die, and none of them
2:16 fathered any legitimate children to
2:18 continue on the legacy of House
2:19 Baratheon. In season 8 of the show, one
2:21 of Robert's bastards was made the Lord
2:23 of Storm's End and formerly recognized
2:25 as Gendry Baratheon. In the books, it's
2:27 not yet clear what House Baratheon's
2:29 legacy will become. So, for now, we just
2:31 have to accept the ending that the show
2:33 gave us as canon. House Stark is one of
2:35 the oldest and strongest houses in all
2:38 of Westeros. Before Aegon the Conqueror
2:40 came and unified the seven kingdoms as
2:41 one, House Stark were the rulers of the
2:43 north. Thousands and thousands of years
2:45 before the events of the show and books,
2:47 House Stark was founded by Bran the
2:49 Builder, a legendary first man who
2:51 created Winterfell and apparently even
2:53 built the wall. After years of fighting
2:55 other northern houses for control, House
2:57 Stark proved to be the strongest and
2:59 every other house eventually either
3:01 kneelled or lost to them in battle. This
3:02 is how they were recognized as the kings
3:04 of the north for millenniums to come.
3:05 When Aegon the Conqueror came to
3:08 Westeros, King Torren Stark marched his
3:10 army down to the south to face him, but
3:11 surrendered when they witnessed the
3:13 dragons he had and the many victories
3:15 under his belt. The houses that didn't
3:16 surrender to Aegon quickly were wiped
3:18 out, and Torren didn't want the same
3:20 fate for his house. Although it was
3:22 controversial for Torin to surrender,
3:24 and he was critiqued by many, those who
3:25 did critique him were only able to be
3:27 alive to do so because of Torin's
3:29 actions. Instead of House Stark going
3:31 extinct, they were allowed to keep their
3:33 power in Winterfell, serving under the
3:34 Targaryenss for hundreds of years to
3:36 come. That is until, of course, Lady
3:38 Lyanna, sister to Edard Stark, who was
3:40 also supposed to be wed to Robert
3:42 Baratheon, was taken by Prince Rhaegar
3:44 Targaryen. Eddard's father and brother
3:46 the man of justice, but were instead
3:48 viciously executed by the Mad King. This
3:49 is where Robert's rebellion took place,
3:51 and Eddar joined his side as the new
3:53 Lord of Winterfell. We all know the
3:54 suffering that the Starks will have to
3:56 endure after these events, but
3:58 thankfully their family still continues
3:59 on strong. And in the show, most of
4:02 Edard's children survive and continue on
4:04 the legacy of House Stark. Like most of
4:06 the people living in Westeros at the
4:08 time of the series, House Lannister are
4:09 descendants of the Andals, a race of
4:11 people who came from the western side of
4:14 Essos. 6,000 years ago, they came to
4:16 Westeros, overrunning and conquering
4:18 most of the continent, which was at the
4:19 time only inhabited by the first men.
4:21 The Lannisters became one of the most
4:23 prominent houses in Westeros due to Lan
4:24 the Clever, who was a legendary
4:27 trickster swindling Castrly Rock from
4:29 House Casterly. Here, House Castly went
4:31 extinct and House Lannister came to be,
4:33 now being recognized as the lords of
4:34 Castly Rock. Just like most of the
4:36 surviving houses at the time of the
4:38 series, House Lannister bent the knee
4:39 and swore allegiance to Aegon the
4:41 Conqueror. Because of the gold that
4:43 Castly Rock has to offer, the Lannisters
4:45 became the wealthiest family in all of
4:47 Westeros. This of course brought them a
4:48 lot of power and is the reason that the
4:51 saying a Lannister always pays his debts
4:53 exists. Taitos Lannister, the father of
4:55 Tywin, was at one point the head of the
4:57 house and because of his actions brought
4:58 a decline to the house itself. This
5:00 caused a rebellion to happen and if it
5:02 wasn't for Tywin stepping up, House
5:03 Lannister might not have been around for
5:06 much longer. Tywin was a very strong and
5:08 ruthless leader which reestablished fear
5:10 into the other houses in which House
5:11 Lannister started to lose for quite some
5:13 time. time. Tywin rebuilt the house to
5:15 the powerful state we see it in during
5:17 the series and made sure it stayed that
5:18 way, making arrangements for his
5:20 children to be in positions of power. At
5:22 least the children he deemed as worthy,
5:23 that is. By the end of the show, all the
5:25 Lannisters from the main family besides
5:27 my goat Tyrion had passed away. It is
5:29 unclear what the future of this great
5:31 house looks like, especially in the
5:32 books, but we can assume that their
5:34 legacy might continue on. House Tyrell
5:36 has quite a few similarities to House
5:38 Lannister. The Tyrells are the second
5:40 wealthiest family at the time of the
5:41 series, just barely behind the
5:42 Lannisters. And they also are
5:44 descendants of the Andals. Alistister
5:46 Tyrell, who was an Andal Knight, is who
5:47 founded House Tyrell. But unlike the
5:49 Lannisters, they became a strong house
5:51 in a much more respectable way. The
5:53 Tyrells originally served House
5:54 Gardener, who were the lords of High
5:56 Garden. And over a period of time, House
5:58 Tyrell was able to rise in prominence
6:00 and become a very strong house. However,
6:02 the Tyrells didn't become anywhere near
6:04 as strong as we see them in in the
6:06 series until around Aegon's conquest.
6:08 King M the 9inth, the final leader of
6:10 House Gardener, did not kneel to Aegon
6:12 the Conqueror, resulting in him being
6:13 burned alive. After this happened,
6:16 Harland Tyrell, who was M's steward at
6:17 the time, surrendered High Garden to
6:19 Aegon. Because of this, Aegon rewarded
6:21 Harlland by making him the Lord of High
6:23 Garden. Although the Tyrells rose to
6:24 becoming a powerful house in a more
6:26 respectable way compared to the
6:27 Lannisters, that doesn't mean they are
6:29 much better overall. They are about as
6:30 cunning as the Lannisters are,
6:32 especially when it comes to politics.
6:34 However, they typically mask this by
6:36 being more subtle. The Tyrells are kind
6:37 of in a weird middle ground when it
6:39 comes to ethics, having many
6:41 similarities to the Lannisters, but also
6:42 still representing some of the honor
6:44 that House Stark has. The dynamic that
6:46 they have with other houses is typically
6:48 really interesting to learn about, as
6:50 they usually try to pursue what would be
6:52 the most morally right thing to do, but
6:54 also being open to go about it in pretty
6:56 unethical and shady ways. When it comes
6:58 to war, they are completely okay with
7:00 switching sides depending on who is most
7:01 likely to win. Unfortunately, by the end
7:03 of the show, all the Tyrells have
7:05 unfortunately died. So if the books
7:07 follow a similar path, their legacy will
7:09 no longer be able to continue on. The
7:11 rulers of the veil and the legendary
7:13 fortress known as the eerie. House Aaron
7:15 is a very strong and prominent house.
7:17 Although no one has ever come close to
7:18 being able to take the eerie from house
7:20 Aaron, it is unknown what would have
7:22 happened if the Arenss decided to not
7:23 been the need Aegon the Conqueror. I
7:24 mean, I'm sure Aegon would have been
7:26 able to eventually take it from them,
7:27 but it probably wouldn't have been very
7:30 easy as the Erie is one of the most, if
7:32 not the most impregnable fortresses in
7:34 all of Westeros. Anyways, Aegon allowed
7:36 them to stay the lords of the eerie due
7:37 to them surrendering and they have
7:39 remained a strong house since. John
7:40 Aaron, who is actually the main reason
7:42 why the events in the series takes
7:44 place, was the most recent head of House
7:45 Aaron and he was a very respected and
7:47 noble person when the mad king demanded
7:49 Eddard to be turned over to the king's
7:51 justice after he had killed Eddard's
7:53 brother and father. John Aaron rebelled,
7:55 which is what directly caused House
7:56 Stark and House Baratheon to come
7:58 together against the throne. When Robert
7:59 took the throne for himself, he
8:01 appointed Jon as the hand of the king,
8:02 in which he served the realm for many
8:04 years to come. He sadly passed away,
8:06 which made his six-year-old son, Robin,
8:08 the soon to be new lord of the eerie and
8:09 head of house Aaron. At the end of the
8:11 show, Robin has taken on his role, and
8:13 House Aaron still continues on.
8:14 Thousands of years ago, Dorne was
8:17 divided into multiple sections with many
8:19 different houses having kings for each
8:21 said area. House Martell were one of
8:22 these many houses. It wasn't until
8:24 around a thousand years ago where they
8:26 really started a rise in power, though.
8:28 At this time, Reiner refugees were
8:30 fleeing Essos, in which they migrated
8:32 across the narrow seat of Dorne. These
8:34 refugees were led by the warrior queen
8:36 known as Nimriia. And here on Dorne, she
8:38 met Moors Martell, and they formed an
8:39 alliance with one another through
8:41 marriage. Together, they conquered and
8:43 unified the rest of Dorne. And instead
8:44 of calling themselves the king and
8:46 queen, they would take on the royer
8:48 tradition of referring to themselves as
8:50 the prince and princess. House Martell
8:52 remained a very strong house and still
8:53 is by the end of the series. This house
8:55 was so strong that they were the only
8:58 ones to successfully fight off Aegon the
8:59 Conqueror and stay independent during
9:01 and after his conquest. Their weaponry
9:03 and military tactics were extremely
9:06 advanced and they even managed to slay
9:08 the legendary dragon known as Maraxis
9:10 which was Rainey's Targaryen's dragon
9:11 and this was also how she was killed as
9:13 at the time she was flying a top of it.
9:15 About a century before the events that
9:17 take place in the series, House Martell
9:18 joined the seven kingdoms through a
9:21 matrimonial alliance. But their words,
9:23 unbowed, unbent, unbroken, still remain
9:24 true, meaning they have never
9:26 successfully been conquered by
9:27 outsiders. Because of the strength they
9:29 showed, they were still allowed to refer
9:31 to themselves as the princes and
9:32 princesses of Dorne, rather than being
9:34 forced to call themselves lords like
9:36 every other house in Westeros. Right
9:37 before the events of the series, Ia
9:39 Martell, who was the princess of Dorne,
9:42 was to be wedded to Rhaegar Targaryen. I
9:43 stayed in King's Landing rather than
9:45 returning to Dorne, and she birthed two
9:47 of Rhaegar's children. Sadly, during
9:49 Robert's rebellion, she alongside her
9:50 two children were murdered by the
9:52 mountain, who was a member of Tywin
9:54 Lannister's army. Peace was restored
9:55 after these events, but her brothers
9:57 Doran and Oberin were of course
9:59 outraged. We obviously know Doran would
10:01 eventually pass away, as well as Oberin
10:02 when he seek vengeance against the
10:04 mountain for what he had done. But
10:05 fortunately for House Martell, the
10:07 legacy doesn't end here, as another
10:09 member of the Martell family took on
10:11 power in Dorne. House Greyjoy are the
10:13 rulers of the Iron Islands, which are
10:14 harsh and bleak pieces of land. They
10:16 have always had plans to conquer the
10:18 mainland, but they of course have never
10:20 gotten anywhere close to these goals.
10:21 This doesn't mean they aren't a strong
10:23 house, and they are in fact one of, if
10:25 not the strongest houses when it comes
10:26 to the water. The people that they rule
10:29 over, who are known as the Ironborn, are
10:30 about as bleak as the land that they
10:32 live on. They are fierce, ruthless, and
10:34 strong individuals who only follow those
10:36 that are stronger than them. Not long
10:38 before the events of the series, Lord
10:40 Balon Greyjoy led a rebellion against
10:42 King Robert Baratheon. His brother Euron
10:44 burned the Lannister fleet, which made
10:46 them an unstoppable force on the water.
10:48 Two of Balon's sons, Rodri and Meron,
10:50 were killed during the rebellion, and it
10:52 eventually was put to a stop as Stannis
10:54 Baratheon's royal fleet finished them
10:56 off. Balon's only surviving son, Theon,
10:58 was taken in by the Starks and made into
11:00 a ward, which forced Balon to submit to
11:02 King Roberts. His daughter, Yara, was
11:04 the only surviving child that remained
11:06 on the Iron Islands after this defeat.
11:08 Eventually, Balon exiled Euron from the
11:10 Iron Islands in which he became a feared
11:13 pirate that terrorized the seas until he
11:14 ultimately returned in the show to kill
11:16 Balon and become the new lord of the
11:18 Iron Islands. During the final season,
11:20 Theon and Euron are both killed off and
11:23 Yara remains the only surviving Greyjoy
11:24 in which he becomes the new ruler of the
11:26 Iron Islands and the legacy of House
11:28 Greyjoy seems to continue on. In the
11:30 central part of Westeros, there is a
11:32 territory known as the Riverlands which
11:34 is ruled by House Toli. The Ties rose in
11:36 prominence during Aegon's conquest when
11:38 Lord Edmund Toli rebelled against the
11:40 king of the iron islands to support the
11:42 Targaryen invaders. During the war of
11:44 the nine penny kings, a short-lived
11:47 attempted invasion of Westeros by House
11:48 Blackfire. The Tullies fought on the
11:50 side of the Iron Throne, coming to House
11:52 Targaryen's aid yet again. The two
11:54 brothers, Hosture and Brendan Tulli,
11:56 both fought together in this conflict,
11:58 but later on parted ways after a
11:59 disagreement had happened between the
12:00 two. Brendan was given the name
12:02 Blackfish, which he willingly took on,
12:04 and he would continue to fight in battle
12:06 until his very last moments where the
12:08 Lannisters launched a siege on Riverrun
12:10 in season 6 of the show. Hoster did not
12:12 continue to fight in any battles and
12:14 instead married Lady Manissa of House
12:16 went in which they had three children,
12:18 Catelyn, Liza, and Edmure. Since the
12:19 beginning of House Tully, they had
12:20 always remained loyal to House
12:23 Targaryen. That is up until Robert's
12:24 rebellion where Catelyn was married to
12:26 Lord Eddard Stark and Liza was married
12:29 to Lord John Aaron to form a powerful
12:30 alliance against the Mad King. This
12:32 alliance is actually a major reason why
12:34 Robert's rebellion was even a success.
12:36 Of course, we all know that Catelyn and
12:38 Liza are eventually killed off and in
12:40 season 8 of the show, Edmure is the only
12:42 surviving Tully and is now currently the
12:44 lord of Riverrun and they still remain a
12:46 powerful house in Westeros. House Bolton
12:48 is yet another one of the oldest houses
12:50 in the seven kingdoms with their origins
12:52 rooting all the way back to the first
12:54 men. For centuries, the Boltons refused
12:56 to accept House Stark as their ruler.
12:58 Even after pretty much every house in
13:00 the north did. They successfully killed
13:02 many Starks and apparently would keep
13:04 their skin as trophies and even wear it
13:06 as a cloak. The Boltons are one of, if
13:08 not the most ruthless houses in all of
13:10 Westeros. I mean, their house sigil is
13:12 literally a flayed man, which is a
13:14 practice that they have taken part in
13:15 for thousands of years, where they would
13:18 torture prisoners, removing several
13:19 layers of skin, which would expose nerve
13:21 and muscle tissue and leave them in
13:23 perpetual agony. These [ __ ] are
13:25 vile. Anyways, the Boltons are one of
13:27 the strongest houses in the north,
13:28 pretty much being the only house that
13:29 could successfully fight against House
13:31 Stark. Eventually, the Boltons were
13:33 defeated and bent the knee, in which
13:34 they were also forced to give up the
13:36 practice of flaying. That being said,
13:38 they still remain the second most
13:40 powerful house in the north. We of
13:41 course all know that Roose Bolton
13:43 eventually betrayed House Stark,
13:45 resulting in the death of Robin Catelan,
13:46 and he was then named the Lord of
13:48 Winterfell and Warden of the North,
13:50 being the only house to ever
13:52 successfully dethrone House Stark. The
13:54 Boltons were all thankfully killed off
13:56 by season 6 of the show, meaning their
13:58 legacy definitely will not continue on.
14:00 Thank God. House Frey are the lords of
14:02 the twins, a castle with two nearly
14:04 identical towers and a fortified bridge
14:06 stretching over a body of water to
14:08 connect the two towers. This bridge is
14:10 the only crossing point over this river
14:12 for hundreds of miles in either
14:13 direction. And according to Catelyn
14:15 Stark, no one in history has ever been
14:17 able to avoid paying the toll that is
14:19 required to pass this bridge. We
14:21 actually explicitly see what happens
14:23 when you do try to avoid the cost that
14:24 comes with crossing during the Red
14:25 Wedding. House Frey have only been
14:28 around for about 600 years before the
14:29 war of the five kings and they are
14:31 located in the Riverlands. They had
14:33 gotten pretty wealthy thanks to the toll
14:34 that they enact on travelers and for
14:36 most of their history they were vessels
14:38 of House Tully. House Frey was never
14:39 treated with much respect and Lord
14:41 Walder Frey highlights this to Robin
14:43 Cateland when they visit him. With that
14:45 being said, Walder got the final laugh
14:46 when he had them both killed due to them
14:48 not keeping the promise that they made.
14:50 That is until season 7 of the show where
14:52 Arya comes and gets revenge killing him
14:54 off. But this does not result in the end
14:56 of House Frey. As Walter had more than
14:58 100 descendants, so it's safe to say
15:00 their legacy, for better or worse, will
15:02 continue on. House Mormont are the lords
15:04 of Bear Island, a remote island in the
15:06 north of Westeros. There aren't many
15:08 valuable resources here, so the Mormonts
15:10 are a relatively poor house. With that
15:11 being said, the people that come from
15:13 this island tend to be very strong and
15:15 loyal individuals. The Mormonts are one
15:16 of the oldest and proudest houses in the
15:18 north. But unfortunately, their
15:20 reputation was hurt due to the actions
15:22 of Sir Jorah Mormont, the previous lord
15:24 of Bear Island. In Westeros, slave
15:26 trading is an inexcusable crime, and
15:28 Jorah took part in it. At one point, he
15:30 was exiled from Westeros, never to
15:31 return again, and that is where he found
15:33 Daenerys Targaryen, in which he decided
15:35 to loyally follow. Jorah's father,
15:37 Jorah, who was the Lord Commander of the
15:39 Night's Watch, felt disgraced by his
15:40 son's actions of being a slave trader.
15:42 Jorah is eventually killed and in season
15:44 8 of the show, Jorah dies protecting
15:47 Daenerys. Jorah's cousin Lyanna was made
15:48 the head of House Mormont, but that
15:50 didn't last long as she dies in season 8
15:52 as well. Unfortunately, House Mormont
15:54 goes extinct and their legacy sadly no
15:56 longer continues on. House Charlie is an
15:58 old house having origins back to the
16:00 first men and are the lords of Hornhill,
16:02 a castle southeast of High Garden. This
16:04 house has a militarist tradition and
16:05 they are one of the few to possess a
16:07 Valyrian steel short which is known as
16:09 Heartsbane. During Robert's rebellion,
16:11 Lord Randall Tarly commanded the
16:13 Vanguard at the Battle of Ashford and
16:15 they managed to make Robert Baratheon
16:17 retreat. With that being said, Lord Mace
16:18 Tyrell took credit for this victory
16:20 since Randall was serving under the
16:22 Tyrells. After the extinction of House
16:23 Baratheon, they swore allegiance to
16:25 House Lannister and they eventually
16:27 betrayed House Tyrell. Lord Randall
16:29 fights alongside Sir Jaime Lannister.
16:31 Unfortunately for Randall, he and his
16:33 son Diggon were executed by Daenerys
16:35 Targaryen after the Battle of the Gold
16:37 Road. because his son Samuel is a sworn
16:39 brother of the Night's Watch, the only
16:41 person who can take on being the head of
16:43 House Tarly is Samuel's sister Tala. But
16:45 because she is married to a member of
16:47 House Fossaway, we can now only assume
16:48 that this house will become the new
16:50 lords of Hornhill. House Beish was a
16:53 pretty new house, and it all didn't last
16:54 very long whatsoever. This house was
16:56 founded by a cell sword who traveled
16:58 from Braavos to Westeros to serve House
17:00 Corbre, located in the Veil of Aaron.
17:02 His son became friends with Lord
17:04 Hostster Toli and he had his son Peter
17:06 fostered at Riverrun. Here Peter fell in
17:08 love with Catelyn and her sister Liza
17:10 fell in love with him. Catelyn was to be
17:12 wedded to Brandon Stark who was Eddard's
17:14 older brother and Peter was not happy at
17:16 all about this. He challenged Brandon to
17:18 a duel for Catelyn's hand, but because
17:19 he was not wellversed in combat
17:21 whatsoever, he lost. Peter left for home
17:23 in disgrace. And here his bitter
17:25 feelings would only continue to grow.
17:27 Years later, Lord John Aaron took Peter
17:29 in to do financial work for him as he
17:32 was suggested by Jon's wife Liza who was
17:33 still secretly in love with Peter and
17:35 here he was really able to shine and
17:37 distinguish himself. Peter then made a
17:39 name for himself through this and Jon
17:40 eventually made him the master of coin
17:42 in King's Landing after he himself
17:44 became hand of the king. Peter quickly
17:46 became a powerful player in royal
17:48 politics in spite of all odds being
17:50 against him, especially since he did not
17:52 come from a noble or great house. We all
17:53 of course know that Peter is a very
17:55 morally wrong person and just does
17:57 whatever he can to get even more power.
17:59 But the things he was able to accomplish
18:01 should still in my opinion be talked
18:03 about. He is eventually killed by Arya
18:04 Stark in season 7 of the show. And
18:06 because he had no offspring, House
18:08 Beaish became extinct. Although House
18:10 High Tower is not around anymore in the
18:12 main series, the power that they had was
18:14 extremely surprising to learn about
18:16 after I discovered them in House of the
18:17 Dragon. So I without a doubt think they
18:19 are worth mentioning in this video.
18:20 House High Tower was one of the most
18:23 ancient, wealthy, and powerful houses in
18:24 Westeros. They were at the front and
18:26 center of politics in Westeros for
18:28 centuries, and they ruled over Oldtown,
18:30 which was the biggest city in Westeros
18:31 for thousands of years before the
18:33 Targaryenss came. Lord Hbert High
18:35 Totower was the head of the house before
18:37 the reign of King Viserius I. And his
18:39 younger brother, Otto, served Viserius
18:41 as hand of the king. As we saw in season
18:43 1 of the show, Otto had his daughter
18:45 Allison wedded to Viserius, and she
18:47 birthed four Targaryen children. I don't
18:49 want to spoil myself or you guys for
18:51 what happens in the following seasons of
18:52 House of the Dragon, so I won't discuss
18:54 any more here about House High Tower.
18:56 Finally, I have made sure to save the
18:59 absolute best house for last. Of course,
19:01 I'm talking about the most legendary
19:02 house of them all, House Bronn. All
19:04 jokes aside, there are multiple other
19:06 houses that I wanted to cover, but I
19:07 just wasn't able to in this video. So, I
19:09 apologize to the like five House Umber
19:11 fans out there. Anyways, that's pretty
19:12 much all for this video. If you want to
19:14 see more like this, please subscribe and
19:16 leave a like to let me know. I plan on
19:17 making a lot more videos like this in
19:19 the future, so make sure to stick around
