0:03 Roy Mustang takes on envy. When it comes
0:05 to revenge scenes that hit hard, Colonel
0:07 Roy Mustang's showdown with Envy and
0:09 Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood is one
0:12 that burns into your memory. Literally,
0:14 everything about it feels personal,
0:17 brutal, and earned. It all traces back
0:20 to Maize Hughes. Hughes was more than a
0:22 comrade to Roy. He was family and
0:24 everything but name. always the cheerful
0:26 guy, bragging about his wife and
0:28 daughter, always reminding Roy why the
0:30 fight for a better world mattered. He
0:32 supported Royy's dream to become fur
0:34 because he believed his friends could
0:36 change the system from the inside. But
0:37 when he started digging too deep into
0:40 the military secrets, he stumbled on the
0:42 truth behind the homunculi. That
0:44 discovery sealed his fate. While trying
0:46 to report what he found, Hughes was
0:48 intercepted by someone he recognized,
0:50 Maria Ross, one of their fellow
0:52 soldiers. Maize quickly realized the
0:54 deception when he noticed she didn't
0:56 have Ross' mole. With the cover blown,
0:59 Ross transformed. It wasn't her at all.
1:02 It was Envy. Just as Maize moves to
1:04 attack the shape-shifting homunculus,
1:06 Envy takes his form of Husse's wife,
1:08 Gracia, causing Maize to freeze in place
1:10 with the image of his wife in front of
1:12 him. And with a smirk, Envy shot him
1:15 dead. Ma's death broke something inside
1:17 Roy. The rage she felt didn't fade with
1:20 time. It built up waiting for the right
1:22 spark. And that spark finally came under
1:24 central city in their bid to stop the
1:26 progenitor of the homunculi referred to
1:30 as father. Amid the chaos, Roy runs into
1:32 Envy face to face. Envy starts doing his
1:35 usual thing, mocking humans, trying to
1:37 cause tension between everyone in the
1:39 group, but Roy doesn't even flinch. He
1:42 just asks a single question. Who killed
1:44 Maize Hughes? Envy tries to lie, tossing
1:47 Maria Ross' name around again, but
1:49 Royy's done playing games. He presses
1:51 harder until Envy laughs and admits it
1:53 outright. Then, to make it hurt even
1:56 more, he shapeshifts into Gracia Hughes,
1:59 the exact disguise he used that day.
2:01 Everything inside Roy snaps, his eyes
2:04 hardened, his hands move, and the sound
2:06 of snapping fingers fills the tunnel.
2:08 The next second, Envy surrounded by
2:11 fire. Roy unleashes one explosion after
2:14 another. The flames chasing Envy like a
2:16 living storm. Envy tries to fight back,
2:19 shifting into his giant monster form.
2:21 But it doesn't matter. Each blast lands
2:24 clean, boiling his skin, melting his
2:26 body and forcing him to regenerate again
2:29 and again. Roy doesn't slow down. He's
2:31 not fighting for strategy or survival
2:33 anymore. He's hunting. Envy finally
2:35 escapes for a moment, retreating into
2:37 the tunnels, but Roy follows without
2:40 hesitation. He finds Envy hiding,
2:43 trembling and desperate. Then Envy tries
2:45 one more disguise, turning into Maze
2:48 himself, maybe hoping that it will stop
2:50 him, but it doesn't. Roy burns the fake
2:53 image instantly. The man who once showed
2:55 restraint is gone. While this is
2:57 happening, Reza Hawkeye hears the fight
3:00 from a distance. She disobys orders and
3:02 rushes in. At this point, Envy's already
3:04 been scorched to a crisp. The bodies
3:06 barely hanging together when Embi runs
3:08 into Reza and plays one last trick by
3:10 taking Royy's form to fool her. Reza
3:13 spots the lie instantly, calls him out,
3:15 and empties her gun into him before the
3:18 real Roy arrives. Without hesitation,
3:21 Roy ignites another blast. Envy screams
3:22 as the flames eat away what's left of
3:24 his body until his regeneration
3:27 completely stops. When the smoke clears,
3:28 there's only a tiny pitiful creature
3:31 left, the homunculus's true form. Royce
3:33 steps on it, lifts his hand, and
3:36 prepares to finish it once and for all.
3:38 But Reza draws her weapon and tells him
3:40 to stop. She's seen what revenge is
3:43 doing to him and knows where it leads.
3:45 Roy refuses to listen. He's been chasing
3:47 this moment for too long to walk away
3:50 now. That's when Ed and Scar arrive. Ed
3:52 grabs Envy using his alchemy, stopping
3:54 Roy from striking again. Roy threatens
3:57 to burn Ed's autommail arm if he doesn't
3:59 let go. Ed stares him down and tells him
4:01 to take one look at his own face to see
4:04 what he's become. Scar backs him up,
4:05 saying he understands vengeance better
4:08 than anyone. But if Roy can't let go,
4:09 he'll end up destroying everything he
4:12 once believed in. Reza doesn't lower her
4:14 gun. She says if he forces her to pull
4:16 the trigger, she'll follow him in the
4:18 death, too. That's what finally pulls
4:21 Roy back from the edge. The flames fade,
4:23 his expression softens, and he lowers
4:25 his hand. He apologizes to his team for
4:28 losing control. Envy, weak and trembling
4:31 in Ed's hand, starts laughing again. He
4:33 mocks them for all of their compassion,
4:35 saying, "Humans only pretend to overcome
4:38 hatred." Ed doesn't argue. Instead, he
4:39 points out what's really been driving
4:42 Envy all along, jealousy. Everything
4:45 Envy's done. All the cruelty and
4:47 manipulation came from that single
4:49 emotion. He despised humans because they
4:51 had something that he never could.
4:54 Connection and empathy. That truth is
4:56 harder than fire ever could. Envy starts
4:59 to break down, crying and shaking. Roy
5:01 stripped him of his pride. Reza gave him
5:03 mercy and Ed understood him. There's
5:06 nothing left for him to hold on to, so
5:08 he reaches inside himself, pulls out his
5:10 philosopher stone, and ends his life
5:13 right there. His body crumbles to dust,
5:15 leaving only silence behind. War watches
5:18 without saying a word. The revenge he's
5:20 been chasing for so long is finally
5:22 over, but there's no satisfaction in it,
5:25 just emptiness. It's not just one of the
5:27 most brutal revenge scenes in anime.
5:29 It's one of the most human. Because in
5:31 that tunnel, under all that fire, you
5:34 see what revenge really does. It doesn't
5:36 just destroy your enemy, it eats away at
5:38 you until there's nothing left but ashes.
5:40 ashes.
5:41 Just cutting in here really quick. I
5:43 recently partnered up with Gamer Subs. A
5:44 lot of you might have already heard
5:46 about Gamer Subs before. They're like
5:48 the goto for energy supplements for
5:51 gamers and people that enjoy anime and
5:52 manga. Pretty big in the community. It's
5:55 a product with zero sugar, less than one
5:56 carb, and less than one calorie. So,
5:59 it's keto friendly and diabetic safe.
6:00 So, this is pretty big because I used to
6:02 drink a lot of energy drinks, and it's
6:04 both healthier and cheaper than just
6:05 straight up buying energy drinks from
6:07 the gas station or something. And on top
6:08 of that, I'm sure some of you may love
6:10 this. They also have these like very
6:12 aesthetic waifu cups that of course are
6:14 anime themed because, you know, waifu.
6:16 And what's really cool is if you click
6:18 the link in my description and use my
6:20 code anime X, you'll get 10% off your
6:22 order. And on top of that, you'll be
6:24 helping this channel greatly. I wouldn't
6:25 be recommending this stuff to you guys
6:27 if I didn't use it myself. I literally
6:28 drink it every day. Like, I'm drinking
6:30 it right now as I record this video. The
6:31 flavors are good. The service is
6:32 amazing. You get your stuff very
6:34 quickly. So, make sure to use the link
6:36 in my description and use my code to
6:38 save some money. Gone's Rage. Gone
6:40 started his journey as this bright,
6:42 upbeat kid who always wanted to try to
6:44 see the good in everyone. His energy was
6:47 contagious. So much so that even Kilawa,
6:49 a literal child assassin, ended up
6:51 becoming his closest friend. But
6:53 underneath all that cheerfulness, some
6:56 people like Issoka, Wing, Biscy, and
6:58 Razer noticed something darker hiding in
7:01 him. They call it a monster lurking
7:04 beneath the surface. At first, most fans
7:05 thought that those remarks were just
7:08 hype for the main character. But looking
7:10 back, those warnings were more than just
7:13 talk. They were a quiet setup for what
7:15 would later explode in the Chimera Ant
7:17 arc when that monster finally showed
7:20 itself. Gon's rage didn't come out of
7:21 nowhere. It all started when the first
7:24 royal guard, Nerf P2, was born and just
7:26 decided to test their strength on the
7:28 incoming hunters, who turned out to be
7:30 Kite, Gone, and Kilawa. With Kite
7:32 sensing P2's attack, he acted quickly
7:34 and protected the two kids from the
7:37 lunging threat. In a split second, P2
7:39 sliced off Kite's right arm like it was
7:41 nothing. Seeing Kite's severed arm and
7:43 the powerful royal guard standing before
7:46 them, Gaunt loses it and powers up, only
7:47 for Kilawa to knock him down and carry
7:50 him away as per Kite's orders. Even with
7:52 his arm gone, Kite still tried to fight
7:55 back. But P2 was just too fast, too
7:58 strong, and too ruthless. When Gon wakes
7:59 up in a nearby town, Gon convinces
8:01 himself that Kite was still alive
8:03 somewhere, that he just needed to save
8:05 him. It became his entire reason for
8:07 pushing forward through the Chimera Ant
8:09 arc. He trained harder than ever,
8:10 throwing himself into battle after
8:13 battle, always with one goal in mind, to
8:16 make P2 pay and bring Kite back. His
8:18 desire for vengeance grows 10fold when
8:20 they're allowed to enter NGL again.
8:22 There, he saw what P2 did to Kite's
8:24 body. They ruthlessly turned his corpse
8:26 into a training dummy. Gaunt finally
8:28 gets his chance during the palace raid
8:30 where he and Kilawa were tasked to find
8:33 and fight P2. The plan is simple.
8:35 challenge the royal guards to a fight,
8:37 defeat them, and drag them to Beijing to
8:39 bring Kite back to normal. But instead
8:41 of finding a monster waiting to fight,
8:43 they find P2 healing a severely wounded
8:46 human girl with Dr. Blight, that creepy
8:49 puppet-like nin ability. At first, Gon
8:51 is just on edge, ready for a fight. But
8:54 P2 puts the girl as priority, begging
8:55 Gone to wait until the healing is
8:58 complete. This unexpected act of caring
9:00 throws Gone into confusion, being torn
9:02 between killing Pichu along with the
9:04 girl and giving them time to save the
9:06 dying girl. At some point, Gon picked
9:08 the first option, but held back when
9:11 Kilawa tried to reason with him. Gon
9:13 gives P2 an hour to finish the healing
9:14 and tells them to come with him to pay
9:17 Jing to heal Kite, to which P2 agrees.
9:19 After the girl is healed, Gon turns her
9:22 over to Kilawa as a hostage, and he and
9:24 P2 make their way to Kite. Upon arriving
9:26 at the castle and seeing Kite's body, P2
9:28 decides to tell the truth and says the
9:31 one thing that completely destroys him.
9:33 That Kite can't be healed because he's
9:35 already dead. You can almost feel the
9:37 world stop right there. Gone doesn't
9:40 scream or break down. He just freezes.
9:42 The hope he was clinging to evaporates
9:45 and what's left behind is something far
9:47 darker. He realizes that everything he
9:49 done, every risk he took, every bit of
9:52 pain he endured was for nothing. and the
9:55 one responsible is standing right in
9:57 front of him. When Pichu declares they
9:58 need to kill Gon for the sake of the
10:01 king, those words basically seal their
10:04 grim fate. Gon's aura explodes into
10:07 something horrifying, thick, dark, and
10:09 heavy enough to suffocate anyone nearby.
10:12 Even Pichu is caught off guard. They can
10:14 feel that power surging out of him.
10:16 Something primal and full of hatred. The
10:18 candles around them blow out and Gon
10:21 starts changing. His body grows taller,
10:24 older, more muscular. It's not just a
10:26 normal transformation. He's forcing his
10:28 body to reach the peak of what it could
10:30 ever be. Burning through everything he
10:33 has for one purpose, revenge. Pito
10:36 senses the danger and summons Tepsura,
10:38 ready to fight. But by the time they
10:40 move, Gon's already vanished. When Pito
10:42 spots him again, he's standing in the
10:45 doorway, fully transformed. This version
10:48 of Gon isn't the cheerful kid anymore.
10:50 He's silent, expressionless, and
10:53 terrifying. He tells P2 to follow him
10:55 outside because he doesn't want the
10:57 building destroyed. That's how cold he's
11:00 become. Even in his fury, he's in
11:02 control. Focus entirely on the kill.
11:04 Outside, Pichu quickly realizes what
11:07 happened. Gon's body has aged to the
11:08 point to where it can handle the power
11:10 that could rival even the Chimera Ant
11:13 King. Pichu lunges at first, but Gon
11:15 dodges easily and kicks them hard in the
11:17 stomach, sending them flying. The impact
11:20 alone is brutal and before P2 can
11:22 recover, Gon charges his Junkcan. The
11:25 punch lands straight into P2's face,
11:26 launching them into the side of a
11:29 mountain. The sheer force itself is just
11:32 overkill. P2's face caves in and their
11:34 body drops lifeless to the ground. But
11:36 Gan doesn't stop. He approaches the
11:38 bloodied royal guard and keeps punching
11:41 over and over, turning their head into a
11:44 mess. Meanwhile, Kiloway arrives just in
11:46 time to witness the aftermath. From a
11:48 distance, he can see and hear the
11:50 massive surge of energy which appears as
11:52 continuous junkan strikes. When he
11:55 finally sees him, Gans's on his knees,
11:57 hammering P2's corpse and repeatedly
11:58 punching the royal guard's already
12:01 shattered skull. Kilawa calls out to
12:03 him, and he looks back with tears in his
12:06 eyes. He mutters that he's finished,
12:08 that he did what Kite taught him to do.
12:10 But the nightmare isn't over. Pichu's
12:13 inability, Tsakura, kicks in one last
12:15 time. Even in death, their body starts
12:18 moving. Driven purely by devotion to the
12:20 king. The puppet-like corpse springs
12:22 back to life and lunges at Gon, ripping
12:24 off his right arm before Kilawa can
12:27 reach him. Gone doesn't even flinch. He
12:29 just looks at his missing arm and says
12:32 it doesn't hurt that he's actually glad
12:34 because now he's just like Kite. With
12:36 what little strength he has left, Gon
12:39 finishes it. He grabs his severed arm,
12:40 stabs it straight through Pito's
12:43 twitching corpse, and prepares one last
12:46 Junkan, a massive one, far stronger than
12:49 anything before. Kilawa yells for him to
12:51 stop, and for a second, Gon's fury
12:54 cracks. Then there's an explosion,
12:57 violent and final. The entire force
12:59 disappears in the blast. And that was
13:02 the end of P2. Among all anime revenge
13:04 scenes, this one hits differently
13:07 because it comes with a hefty cost. Gone
13:10 lost his men. After that, Kin Kaneki
13:13 tortures his torturer. The scene where
13:15 Ken Kaneki turns the tables on his
13:17 torturer, Yamorei in Tokyo Ghoul, is one
13:19 of those moments that makes a clear
13:21 point of no return for a character.
13:24 Before all the chaos, Yamorei, or as
13:26 he's better known, Jason of the 13th
13:28 Ward, was already infamous among ghouls
13:31 and humans alike. The guy was a satist
13:33 who enjoyed torturing others, not just
13:35 for interrogation or dominance, but for
13:38 sheer pleasure. But the irony is that he
13:40 wasn't always that monster. Once upon a
13:43 time, Jason was the one being tortured.
13:46 After getting captured by the CCG's Arma
13:48 and Fura, he was thrown into the ghoul
13:50 detention facility, Coccia. There, an
13:52 investigator subjected him to endless
13:54 rounds of psychological and physical
13:57 torment. The torture was so extreme, it
13:59 shattered his mind. The only way Jason
14:01 could survive was by convincing himself
14:03 that he was the one in control. That
14:05 twisting coping mechanism became his
14:07 obsession. He started mimicking his
14:09 torturous methods and turned cruelty
14:12 into a lifestyle. When he joined the
14:14 Algiri tree, he became their go-to
14:16 brute, leading his own squad called the
14:18 white suits and making a name for
14:20 himself as the most vicious enforcer in
14:23 13th Ward. So when Algieri ordered him
14:25 to find Reay Kamishiro or anyone who
14:28 smelled like her, Jason went hunting.
14:30 That led him straight to Kin Kaneki.
14:32 Kaneki, who was turned into a half ghoul
14:35 by Reay's organs, became Jason's next
14:37 toy. Jason dragged Kaneki into his
14:39 torture chamber, a dark, filthy room
14:41 filled with blood, chains, and tools
14:43 that told countless horror stories. He
14:46 injected Kaneki with RC suppressant so
14:48 his ghoul side couldn't heal too fast.
14:50 Then went to work on cutting off his
14:52 fingers and toes. Every time they grew
14:55 back, he'd do it again and again and
14:58 again. For Kaneki, every moment was an
15:00 endless loop of pain and madness. Jason
15:02 even made him eat his own severed limbs
15:05 to keep the regeneration going. During
15:07 these sessions, Jason forced Kaneki to
15:09 count backwards from a thousand by
15:12 sevens. a cool trick to keep his sanity
15:14 barely intact while ensuring that he
15:16 never forgets his suffering. As Kaneki's
15:18 body and mind started to fall apart, he
15:20 retreated into his own head where he
15:22 found himself face to face with an
15:24 illusion of Reay. Through these visions,
15:26 Kaneki was forced to confront the
15:28 weakness that defined his life. He
15:30 remembered his mother who overworked
15:32 herself to death because she refused to
15:34 hurt others even when they hurt her.
15:36 That same mindset lived inside Kaneki,
15:38 always choosing to take the pain rather
15:41 than fight back. Rez pushed him to see
15:43 the truth. If he kept living like that,
15:45 he'd lose everyone he cared about. The
15:48 guilt, the pain, the helplessness. It
15:50 all piled up until something inside
15:53 Kaneki finally broke. Meanwhile, Jason
15:56 wasn't done. In one of his crulest acts,
15:58 he dragged in two other captives, Shu
16:00 and Haru, who had secretly planned to
16:02 save Kaneki, but got caught. He tied
16:04 them up in front of Kaneki and told him
16:07 to choose who would live. Kaneki froze.
16:10 He couldn't make the choice. Jason
16:11 killed them both anyway, punishing
16:14 Kaneki for his hesitation. That moment
16:16 pushed Kaneki past his limit. In his
16:18 mindscape, Kaneki finally understood
16:20 what Rez had been trying to tell him.
16:22 The world wasn't kind, and he couldn't
16:24 keep hiding behind ideals of
16:26 self-sacrifice. If he wanted to protect
16:29 anyone or even himself, he had to stop
16:31 being weak. Accepting his ghoul side was
16:33 the only way forward. That realization
16:36 caused his transformation both mentally
16:38 and physically. His hair turned white.
16:41 His expression went cold. And the
16:43 cheerful, naive boy who entered Algiri's
16:46 clutches was gone. When Jason returned
16:48 to the cell, he didn't find the same
16:50 helpless victim. Kaneki calmly snapped
16:52 his shackles as if they were nothing and
16:54 stood up with a crying, terrifying
16:57 confidence. Jason lunged to eat him, but
17:00 Kaneki moved faster. He grabbed Jason by
17:02 the throat and strangled him with his
17:04 own chains. The roles completely
17:06 reversed. For the first time, Jason was
17:09 the one powerless. Jason tried to fight
17:10 back, but Kaneki was already far beyond
17:13 him. He tasted Jason's blood and
17:14 casually remarked that it was
17:17 disgusting, which enraged Jason even
17:19 more. They clashed, unleashing their
17:21 coes in a fight that felt less like a
17:23 battle and more like justice being
17:25 served. Kaneki's cognate erupted in full
17:27 force for the first time, and it was
17:29 clear who had the upper hand.
17:31 Eventually, Kaneki pinned Jason down and
17:33 gave him a taste of his own medicine. He
17:35 cracked his fingers the same way that
17:37 Jason used to, a chilling echo of
17:39 everything Jason had put him through and
17:41 began torturing him in return. He
17:43 stabbed Jason multiple times with his
17:45 kagune, forcing him to start counting
17:48 backwards from a thousand by sevens,
17:50 just like he made Kaneki do. Not long
17:52 after, Kaneki consumed Jason's cognate
17:55 to absorb more strength, leaving Jason
17:57 broken and terrified on the floor, the
17:59 same floor where he tortured countless
18:02 victims. Later, when Juo, Suzuya, and
18:04 the CCG stormed Algiri's base, they
18:07 found Jason barely clinging to life. Juo
18:10 finished the job without hesitation,
18:12 ending Jason's miserable existence once
18:14 and for all. Tempest counterattack on
18:17 Falmouth's army. When it comes to pure
18:19 cold-blooded revenge, few moments in
18:20 anime hit as hard as Remaru's
18:22 counterattack on Falmouth and that time
18:25 I got reincarnated as a slime. It's the
18:26 kind of scene that flips everything you
18:28 thought you knew about the easygoing
18:30 slime on its head, turning a peaceful
18:33 nation into an execution ground and its
18:34 gentle ruler into something far more
18:36 terrifying. The conflict begins with the
18:39 so-called Tempest Holy War. On paper, it
18:41 sounds like a noble crusade by a Western
18:44 Holy Church in the Kingdom of Falmouth.
18:46 In reality, it's just greed and
18:48 arrogance dressed up as righteousness.
18:50 Falmouth was one of the major powers of
18:52 the western nations, a kingdom that
18:54 prided itself on faith, wealth, and
18:57 control. Its king, Edmarus Falmouth, was
18:59 obsessed with being remembered as a hero
19:01 king. But beneath the Polish image was a
19:04 man driven by ego, and jealousy. Tempest
19:06 had been growing fast, a nation founded
19:08 by monsters, open to trade and
19:10 diplomacy, turning into an economic hub
19:12 that was starting to outshine the old
19:14 powers. That success made Valmouth
19:16 nervous. They couldn't stand the idea of
19:19 monsters thriving where humans were
19:21 supposed to dominate. So, they came up
19:23 with a plan to put Tempest in its place.
19:25 Conveniently, backed by the church's
19:28 anti-mon ideology. What followed was a
19:31 massacre. Falma's forces along with
19:33 church agents launched a sudden
19:35 invasion. They didn't target soldiers.
19:37 They slaughtered civilians including
19:39 women and children, burning and killing
19:41 over a 100red innocent residents. The
19:42 attack even claimed the lives of
19:44 Remaru's closest people, including
19:46 Shiion and Gobzo. The peaceful city that
19:48 once stood as a symbol of coexistence
19:51 was left drenched in blood. That's the
19:53 moment something inside Remaru broke. He
19:55 was done playing nice. Every ounce of
19:57 empathy that he had for humanity
19:59 evaporated. What came next was pure
20:02 methodical revenge. Remaru soon learned
20:04 that there was a way to undo the damage.
20:06 To bring his people back to life, he had
20:08 to become a true demon lord. And that
20:10 required 10,000 human souls. as
20:12 nourishment. Luckily for him, the
20:14 Falmouth army marching straight towards
20:16 Tempest had a little over twice that
20:18 number. When the counterattack begins,
20:20 it's clear that Remu was holding nothing
20:23 back. The Falmouth army, 20,000 strong,
20:25 advances confidently, expecting an easy
20:28 surrender. Edmar sees himself already
20:30 celebrated as a hero who defeated a
20:32 monster nation. But instead of facing an
20:34 army, they face a single being
20:36 descending from the sky. Remu launches
20:39 his assault using a new physics magic
20:41 called Megiddo. Unlike normal magic,
20:43 Megiddo doesn't rely on mana or
20:45 magicules, meaning all of Famasu's
20:47 strongest defenses, their barriers,
20:49 enhancements, and holy blessings are
20:51 useless. The spell converts sunlight
20:53 into pure energy, creating thousands of
20:56 tiny razor-sharp beams that rain from
20:58 the sky like invisible bullets. In the
21:00 first wave, over 500 soldiers die
21:02 instantly, their bodies dropping before
21:04 they even realize they've been hit. The
21:06 beams target vital points like the heart
21:09 and head, ensuring instant death. But
21:11 Remaru doesn't stop at one strike. He
21:13 unleashes 10 consecutive waves, each one
21:15 wiping out hundreds more. By the end of
21:17 it, 5,723
21:20 soldiers are dead, their armor still
21:22 smoking under the midday sun. The
21:24 battlefield turns silent. The survivors
21:26 are terrified, paralyzed by the
21:28 realization that they're not fighting a
21:31 monster. They're being executed. At that
21:33 point, Remaru awakens a new power. The
21:35 unique skill merciless. The ability lets
21:37 him harvest the souls of anyone he
21:39 recognizes as an enemy, but only when
21:41 their will to fight is gone. Once they
21:43 surrender or lose hope, their souls
21:45 belong to him. It's the perfect skill
21:48 for what's about to happen. King Edmarus
21:50 finally tries to negotiate, pretending
21:52 to seek peace. Remaru descends to him,
21:54 calmly serves the king's right arm, and
21:56 cuts down the rest of his soldiers. No
22:00 warnings, no speeches, just execution.
22:02 And then without raising a hand, Remu
22:05 activates Merciless. One by one, every
22:07 soldier on that battlefield, over 14,000
22:10 in total, drop dead where they stand.
22:13 Some die instantly, others only after
22:15 their fear breaks them from the inside.
22:17 The magic doesn't discriminate. Anyone
22:19 Remaru marked as an enemy is finished,
22:21 even if they surrendered. Their souls
22:23 drift towards him, fueling his evolution
22:26 into a demon lord. When it's over, the
22:28 once mighty army of Falmouth is gone.
22:30 The only ones left alive are the king
22:32 and the archbishop who are taken
22:34 prisoner. Even those who tried to cheat
22:37 death don't escape. Razin, an arch
22:39 sorcerer pretending to be dead among the
22:41 corpses, gets noticed by Remmeru
22:43 immediately. Remaru summons the demon
22:44 Diablo, who wipes Razin out
22:47 effortlessly, ensuring no one walks away
22:49 from this punishment. The aftermath is
22:52 brutal. Edmarus is crushed until he
22:54 finally breaks. Remu doesn't even need
22:56 to kill him. He forces the king to
22:58 submit completely. And Mars eventually
23:00 swears allegiance to Diablo, who becomes
23:02 his master. With Falma's leadership
23:05 shattered, Remu installs Yun Farmenus as
23:07 the new puppet king, bringing the nation
23:09 under Tempest's control without lifting
23:12 another finger. Adonis' revenge. Adonis'
23:14 story from the Kingdoms of Ruin is one
23:16 of those rare revenge tales that don't
23:18 even try to sugarcoat the ugliness of
23:21 vengeance. It's raw, vicious, and
23:23 absolutely drenched in blood. The series
23:25 might have its messy moments, but when
23:27 it comes to brutality, it doesn't hold
23:29 back for a second. And Adonis' revenge
23:31 is living proof of that. Before the
23:34 chaos, Adonis was just a starving orphan
23:36 scraping by in the ruins of a world that
23:38 had turned its back on magic. That is
23:40 until Khloe Morgan found him. A witch
23:42 who saw something worth saving in a boy
23:44 everyone else had forgotten. She took
23:46 him in, taught him magic, and gave him
23:49 what he never had, a family. Their bond
23:51 wasn't just master and apprentice. Khloe
23:54 was his world, a mother figure, a
23:56 teacher, and the one person who made
23:58 life feel worth living. But their quiet
24:01 life never stood a chance. The Empire of
24:03 Radia declared a witch hunt, turning
24:06 magic users into targets. Adonis and
24:08 Khloe went into hiding, moving from
24:10 place to place, always one step away
24:12 from being caught. That fragile piece
24:14 finally shattered when Readian soldiers
24:15 tracked them down in the Solavian
24:18 region. They tried to escape, but were
24:19 captured and teleported straight into
24:21 the capital, thrown into the middle of a
24:24 public execution ceremony. In a
24:26 desperate move, Adonis rushed in to
24:28 protect Klo, only to be overpowered and
24:31 held hostage. What followed was pure
24:33 cruelty. Emperor Gothi humiliated Khloe
24:35 in front of the entire city, stripping
24:37 her of her dignity in front of the
24:40 crowd. Khloe drops to her knees and
24:42 plead with Gothi to spare Adonis's life,
24:45 offering her own in exchange. Gothi then
24:46 shot her in the head right in front of
24:49 Adonis and then ordered a firing squad
24:51 to finish her off. The crowd erupts in
24:54 cheers while Adonis screams in agony,
24:55 watching the only person he ever cared
24:58 about die before his eyes. In the end,
25:01 Khloe's final wish is granted. Adonis is
25:03 spared, but instead of freedom, he's
25:05 thrown into maximum security at Mayhem
25:08 Prison, branded a level SS threat, and
25:11 locked away like a ticking time bomb.
25:13 For 10 long years, he stewed in that
25:15 cell. He spent every waking moment
25:17 replaying that day in his mind, running
25:19 endless simulations of the perfect way
25:21 to destroy the empire that took
25:23 everything from him. Every second was
25:26 spent preparing for one thing, revenge.
25:28 That chance came when a young Wish named
25:30 Droka accidentally stumbled into his
25:32 containment chamber while escaping
25:34 capture. The guards tried to drag her
25:37 away, but by then, Adonis had broken
25:39 free, slaughtered the guards in seconds,
25:41 and stepped back into the world that had
25:43 long forgotten him. The Empire had no
25:45 idea what kind of monster they had just
25:48 unleashed. Adonis' revenge began with a
25:50 massacre. Using his hybrid of magic and
25:52 weaponry, he amplified a single bullet
25:55 into something massive, big enough to
25:57 crush buildings. The capital of Readia
25:59 turned into a nightmare as Adonish
26:01 unleashed destruction on everyone in
26:04 sight. civilians, soldiers, nobles. No
26:06 one was spared. He summoned a massive
26:09 mechanical weapon known as Bullet Bell
26:11 and rained up across the city, laughing
26:13 as he wiped out men, women, and children
26:16 alike. He continued to push forward,
26:18 spreading chaos and destruction. Every
26:21 explosion, every scream was just another
26:23 piece of his vengeance against the world
26:25 that took his mentor and left him to
26:27 rot. But that's not the end of it. He
26:29 later develops a close bond with Dora.
26:31 Through her kindness and resilience, he
26:33 began to experience something close to
26:35 peace. Their partnership brought a
26:37 fragile sense of hope into his otherwise
26:39 ruined existence. For a moment, it
26:41 seemed like Adonis might finally find a
26:44 reason to live beyond revenge. But the
26:45 Kingdoms of Ruin doesn't deal unhappy
26:47 endings. In the final episode, that
26:49 glimmer of hope is shattered when a
26:52 sadistic cyborg named Shiro Usagi
26:55 captures them. Adonis is forced to watch
26:58 as Shia Usagi rips Dorica's eyes out,
27:00 torturing her in front of him. The scene
27:02 mirrors his trauma with Khloe. Another
27:04 innocent woman destroyed right before
27:07 his eyes. Dura collapses, bleeding and
27:10 blind, and Adonis snaps. Desperation
27:12 turns into fury as he fights to save
27:15 her. He burns her wound shut and begs
27:17 her to use a powerful spell on him, the
27:19 Nightfall Enchantment. The moment is
27:21 cast, his body heals completely. His
27:24 speed skyrockets and his magic becomes
27:26 limitless. Fueled by rage and power,
27:29 Adonis goes straight for Shiro Usagi.
27:31 The cyborg tries to run, but it's too
27:33 late. Adonis summons the Quinn Blade, a
27:35 weapon so deadly it slices through
27:38 Shirro Usagi before he can react. What
27:39 follows is one of the most brutal
27:42 beatdowns in the series. Adonis rips off
27:45 Shirro Usagi's limbs one by one, making
27:46 him experience the same agony he
27:49 inflicted on Dora. But he doesn't stop
27:51 there. He begins casting a spell Khloe
27:53 once taught him, channeling her memory
27:55 into the vengeance that defined his
27:57 life. Shirro Usagi struggles to stop
27:59 him, but Adonis blocks every attack and
28:01 completes the spell. The temperature
28:04 drops, the world goes silent, and
28:07 everything freezes. Shiru Usagi, the
28:09 city, the wasteland beyond, encased in
28:12 ice. Shir Usagi crumbles apart piece by
28:16 piece until nothing remains. Kurina's
28:18 punishment. Eden Zero might look like
28:20 another light-hearted space adventure at
28:22 first, but that image fades fast once
28:25 the story dives into its darker corners.
28:27 Underneath all the sci-fi and galaxy
28:29 hopping, there's a lot of pain, loss,
28:31 and cruelty, especially when it comes to
28:33 the character Kurinai. Her fall from
28:35 power is one of the most twisted
28:37 punishments in modern anime. Before
28:39 everything went to hell, Kurinai was the
28:41 ruler of Sunju, a planet drenched in
28:43 wealth and luxury for some and misery
28:45 for everyone else. She ran it like her
28:47 personal playground, treating the poor
28:50 and enslaved workers as disposable tools
28:52 to keep her comfortable. The cruel irony
28:54 is that Kurinoi wasn't born into
28:56 privilege. She clawed her way to the top
28:58 by selling out her own daughter,
29:00 murdering her husband, and then taking
29:02 his throne as a tyrant. Once she got
29:04 power, she made sure no one else would
29:06 take it from her again, even if it meant
29:08 crushing thousands beneath her heel. To
29:10 the public, she played the role of a
29:12 noble ruler, protecting her people from
29:15 crime and chaos. But it was all an act.
29:17 Behind the mask, she was sadistic and
29:19 self-absorbed, using her wealth and
29:21 influence to torment others for
29:22 amusement. One of the most disturbing
29:24 examples is when her assistant
29:27 introduces her to a man named Cedric, a
29:29 model applying to serve her as an
29:30 attendant. She then orders him to get
29:33 undressed, to which he obliged. At
29:35 first, it looked like she might accept
29:37 him. He flatters her, praises her
29:39 beauty, and pledges loyalty. But the
29:41 moment he reaches out to touch her face,
29:43 she snaps, calling him vulgar for daring
29:46 to touch her without permission. Kirinai
29:48 grabs him by the face and burns him with
29:50 her ether gear until his skin is
29:52 scorched beyond recognition. She laughs
29:54 while doing it, enjoying his screams
29:56 like music. When he collapses, she
29:58 casually orders her assistant to find
30:00 another candidate, then decides to keep
30:03 Cedric around as her pet, forcing him to
30:05 wear a mask and leash to hide his ruined
30:07 face. is a perfect snapshot of how far
30:11 gone she is. Vain, violent, and addicted
30:13 to power. Eventually, Kurunai's empire
30:15 starts to crumble. Shiki and his crew
30:17 arrive on Sunju and tear through her
30:19 robotic army, freeing the enslaved
30:21 people and putting an end to her reign.
30:23 With her forces gone and her authority
30:25 shattered, she's finally captured. Shiki
30:27 and Paul leave the final decision to
30:29 Homera, Kurinai's aranged daughter who
30:31 was abandoned years ago. Kurinai, Ever
30:33 the manipulator, tries to play the
30:35 sympathy card. She pretends to feel
30:37 regret, pretending she still cares for
30:39 Homera and asking for forgiveness. But
30:41 Homer sees through every lie. She
30:43 rejects Kurunai completely, declaring
30:46 that her true mother was Valkyrie, the
30:48 warrior who raised and protected her.
30:50 Instead of killing Kurinai, Homer spares
30:52 her life and exiles her, choosing mercy
30:54 over revenge. For a moment, it feels
30:56 like Kurinai might escape justice after
30:59 all. That illusion doesn't last long. As
31:01 Kurana flees through the forest, she
31:03 starts laughing to herself, already
31:05 fantasizing about her comeback and
31:07 mocking her daughter for being so naive.
31:09 But her arrogance comes crashing down
31:11 when Cedric steps out from the shadows
31:13 and slams her in the head with a metal
31:15 bat. The hit leaves her bleeding and
31:17 disoriented. And when she looks up, she
31:19 sees something that actually terrifies
31:22 her. A crowd of her former victims, the
31:24 very people she enslaved and tortured
31:26 standing around her. Kurinai tries to
31:29 insult them, mocking them for daring to
31:31 lay hands on her, but they're done being
31:33 afraid. Cedric hits her again, forcing
31:35 her to the ground, and tells her exactly
31:37 what her punishment will be. She won't
31:40 be executed or imprisoned. She'll become
31:42 their pet, just like she made him. It's
31:46 brutal, ugly, and disturbingly poetic.
31:48 Kunai screams and struggles don't change
31:50 anything. The men pin her down as Cedric
31:53 raises his bat again, breaking her leg
31:55 to keep her from running. He calls it
31:57 karma. And in a twisted way, that's
31:59 exactly what it is. The woman who turned
32:01 others into play things ends up becoming
32:05 one herself. The scene is hard to watch.
32:07 Not because Kurinai doesn't deserve it,
32:09 but because of how far it goes. The
32:11 series doesn't show what happens next,
32:13 but the implications are dark enough to
32:14 make viewers uncomfortable. For some
32:17 fans, it's too much. They argue that
32:18 Homer killing her would have been more
32:22 fitting, cleaner, more direct, and less
32:24 disturbing. Instead, Kurinai's fate
32:26 drags her down into something worse than
32:29 death. Humiliation, degradation, and
32:31 complete loss in control. And that's
32:33 what makes this moment in Eden Zero
32:37 stand out. Sarah's Fury. Hellsing
32:38 Ultimate is not an anime that believes
32:41 in holding back. Everything about it is
32:43 extreme. The blood, the carnage, the
32:45 insanity, and it embraces all of that
32:47 with a straight face. It's set in a
32:49 world where a secret organization
32:51 protects England from the undead, led by
32:53 the ruthless vampire Alukard and his
32:56 master, Sir Integra. Among their ranks
32:58 is Sarah's Victoria, a former [ __ ] term
33:00 vampire still trying to hold on to her
33:02 humanity. But when she crosses paths
33:04 with one of the Millennium's deadliest
33:06 soldiers, all of that restraint goes out
33:08 the window. The moment comes during
33:10 Millennium's all-out assault on London.
33:12 Their troops, a mix of vampire soldiers
33:14 and psychopaths, tear through the city
33:16 like it's nothing. Leading the charge is
33:18 Zoran Blitz, one of the werewolf
33:20 officers under the Millennium Banner.
33:23 Zorn is strong and sadistic, and we all
33:24 know too well that combo leads to
33:27 nothing but chaos. Her specialty is
33:28 illusion magic, and she uses it to
33:31 torment her victims by forcing them to
33:32 relive their most painful memories
33:35 before killing them. When Zoran leads an
33:37 attack on Helling HQ, she turns it into
33:40 a massacre. The mercenary group known as
33:42 the Wild Geese, led by Captain Pip
33:44 Bernadot, puts up a fight, but Zuran's
33:45 illusions make the battlefield a
33:48 nightmare. People see things that aren't
33:50 real. Ghosts of their past, loved ones
33:53 dying again, all while being cut down in
33:55 real time. Pip and his team are on the
33:57 verge of being wiped out when Cirrus
33:59 arrives to help. But even Saras, who's
34:01 seen plenty of horrors by this point,
34:03 isn't ready for Zoran's power. The
34:04 vampire uses her illusion ability to
34:07 drag Cirrus back into her worst memory.
34:08 The moment her parents were murdered
34:10 right in front of her as a child while
34:12 Cirrus is stuck in that mental trap,
34:15 Zoran slices her eyes open, drives a
34:16 blade through her back, and cuts off her
34:19 arm. Cirrus is left bleeding and broken
34:21 while Zoran prepares to finish the job.
34:23 Then everything changes when Pip steps
34:25 in to protect Saras. He charges at
34:27 Zoran, but she skewers him with her
34:29 scythe before he can land a hit. It's a
34:31 quick, brutal death, and it snaps
34:33 something inside Saras. She's had enough
34:35 of holding back. With Pip's dying words
34:37 echoing in her mind, she finally gives
34:40 in and drinks his blood. That single act
34:42 transforms her completely. Her wounds
34:45 heal instantly. Her missing arm reforms
34:47 and her eyes regain their sharp red
34:50 glow. The calm composed Sir Victoria is
34:52 gone. What's left is a full-fledged
34:55 vampire overflowing with rage. From
34:57 there, it's a massacre. Zoran's army
34:58 doesn't even have time to react before
35:00 Cirrus tears through them like they're
35:02 nothing. Blood sprays everywhere. She
35:04 rips enemies apart with her bare hands,
35:06 crushing, biting, and smashing her way
35:08 through the battlefield. The tables turn
35:11 so fast that Zoran, the once untouchable
35:13 illusionist, is suddenly the one
35:15 fighting for her life. Zoran tries to
35:17 use her illusions again, hoping to trap
35:20 Cirrus one last time, but it's useless.
35:22 Sirrus's mind is too far gone, too
35:24 consumed by fury for tricks to work. She
35:27 grabs Zoran by the head and smashes her
35:29 straight into the wall. Then she drags
35:31 her face across it at full force,
35:33 grinding her flesh and bone away until
35:35 there's almost nothing left. It's one of
35:37 those scenes that makes even horror fans
35:40 wse. Zordan stays conscious through the
35:42 entire thing, feeling every [ __ ] of her
35:44 skin tear away before her body burst
35:47 into flames and turns to ash.
35:50 Hellgirl's judgment. Hellgirl isn't your
35:52 typical revenge story. It's more like an
35:55 eerie blend of karma, curses, and
35:57 cold-blooded justice wrapped in quiet
36:00 horror. The series follows I Enma, a
36:02 mysterious girl known as the Hellgirl
36:04 who appears only to those consumed by
36:06 hatred. Her name spreads through
36:08 whispers and rumors with only the most
36:10 desperate knowing the truth about her
36:12 dark service. She'll take revenge on
36:14 your behalf, sending the person you hate
36:16 straight to hell. The method is as
36:19 simple as it is disturbing. At midnight,
36:21 a secret website called the Hell Link
36:24 becomes accessible, but only to people
36:26 carrying powerful grudges. Enter the
36:28 name of the one you want gone. Hits in.
36:30 An eye appears to you, usually after
36:32 investigating both sides of the story
36:34 with her supernatural team. If she
36:36 accepts your request, she gives you a
36:38 straw doll with a red string around its
36:40 neck. Pull that string and your enemy is
36:43 instantly dragged to hell. But once your
36:45 own life ends, you'll be joining them in
36:48 hell, too. No exceptions. That mix of
36:50 revenge and consequence is what makes
36:51 Hell Girls judgment one of the most
36:54 brutal forms of justice in anime. Every
36:56 case I take has layers of human cruelty
36:58 and desperation, showing just how far
37:00 people can go when pushed to the edge.
37:02 One of the most memorable cases is
37:04 Namiko Toddaka, a manipulative woman
37:07 living a double life. On the surface,
37:09 she's the perfect wife, married to a
37:11 wealthy businessman and an ideal mother
37:13 who cares for her daughter. But behind
37:14 closed doors, she's cheating on her
37:17 husband constantly. When her neighbor Ko
37:19 Yasuda accidentally catches her in the
37:22 act, Namiko goes completely unhinged.
37:23 Due to her influence over the entire
37:25 neighborhood, she begins spreading false
37:27 rumors about Ko's affairs with multiple
37:29 men. And of course, her neighbors
37:31 believe her, she starts harassing Ko
37:33 with the rumors, beginning to shatter
37:35 Ko's relationship with her husband. To
37:37 make it worse, even her daughter is
37:39 getting bullied in school for it. Namiko
37:41 takes it further by hiring random men to
37:43 barge into Ko's home when her husband is
37:45 away and assault her to stage fake
37:48 affairs, all to destroy Ko's reputation.
37:50 One day, Kiko's daughter, Huruka, comes
37:52 home to find her mom collapsed on the
37:54 floor with the gas left running.
37:56 Thankfully, she saves her in time, but
37:58 Ko breaks down in tears, saying she's
38:01 doomed because of Namiko. Huruka has had
38:03 enough. That night, she opens the hell
38:05 link and types in Namiko's name. I
38:07 appears to her with the familiar black
38:09 straw doll and lays out the deal. Pull
38:12 the string and Namiko goes to hell. But
38:13 the same fate will eventually come for
38:16 Haruka when her time comes. The decision
38:17 eats at her for a moment, but the memory
38:19 of what Namiko did to her mother seals
38:22 it. Haruka pulls the string. Then comes
38:24 the real show. A and her team head to
38:27 the Tooko residence. Ren, I's handsome
38:29 assistant appears before Namiko and as
38:31 expected, she starts flirting with him.
38:33 Her husband walks in catching them mid
38:36 seduction and chaos unfolds. Ren
38:39 suddenly transforms into Mr. Toddaka.
38:42 Then another appears and another with
38:44 all of them yelling at her for cheating.
38:45 The entire scene warps into a nightmare
38:47 where Namiko is surrounded by her
38:49 friends in the neighborhood while her
38:51 husband's still shouting at her. Her
38:53 daughter shows up next, calling her out
38:54 for the shame that she's brought on
38:56 their family. Namiko tries to explain
38:58 through her tears, but everything she
39:00 says is drowned out. Her friends begin
39:03 to mock her ideal wife image as nothing
39:05 but a fake facade. The guilt, the
39:08 humiliation, and the fear close in until
39:10 she snaps, screaming for everyone to
39:13 disappear. They do, but the last person
39:15 left is her daughter, who then
39:18 transforms into I. Hellgirl delivers her
39:20 cold sentence and furies Namiko away. On
39:22 the boat to hell, Namiko breaks down
39:24 laughing, completely losing her mind as
39:26 I tells her that hell may be bleak, but
39:29 it's exactly where she belongs. The next
39:32 story, though, hits even harder. Mako
39:34 Shimono is another monster in human
39:36 skin. She's wealthy, cruel, and
39:39 completely detached from sanity. Her
39:40 life revolves around hoarding her
39:42 inherited fortune and she'll destroy
39:44 anyone who gets in her way. One day, a
39:46 young girl named Miki is walking her two
39:48 dogs when they suddenly run into Mako's
39:51 property and attack her. Mako twists the
39:53 situation into a nightmare. She claims
39:55 Miki trespassed and assaulted her, then
39:57 kidnaps the dogs, holding them hostage
39:59 and threatening to kill them if she
40:01 doesn't follow her demands. Even after
40:03 Miki does everything she told her to,
40:05 the woman kills one of the dogs anyways.
40:07 Push past her limit. Miki logs into Hell
40:10 Link and type Mako's name. I visits her
40:11 with the same black straw doll,
40:13 explaining the terms of the contract,
40:15 but Miki hesitates. The next day, she
40:17 goes back to Mako's house to serve her,
40:19 unaware that she has been seen by her
40:21 teacher, who wonders what she is doing
40:24 in Mako's home. Mickey endures when Mako
40:25 beats her up due to the teacher's
40:27 interference. Well, she insists that she
40:29 didn't tell anyone about their setup.
40:31 When Mako threatens to kill the other
40:33 dog, Mickey reaches for the straw dog to
40:35 seal the deal, but stops when she hears
40:37 Mako exclaim. Mickey sees that her
40:39 surviving dog just gave birth to
40:41 puppies. For a brief moment, there's
40:43 hope. Mickey decides not to pull the
40:45 string, but that mercy doesn't last
40:47 long. The next morning, Mickey finds her
40:49 remaining dog poisoned. She's beaten
40:51 again, helpless, all while Mako
40:54 threatens to drown the newborn puppies.
40:55 Mickey's teacher arrives with the
40:58 police, and they save her just in time.
41:00 During the confrontation, Mako slips on
41:02 the ground, revealing a horrific secret
41:04 buried beneath her flower bed. The dogs
41:06 had originally run into her property
41:08 because they smelled something. Beneath
41:10 the soil are the bones of Mako's own
41:12 parents and child. She murdered them to
41:14 inherit their money and killed her own
41:16 child so that she can have all her
41:18 wealth to herself. With her crimes
41:20 exposed, Mako is arrested. Miki could
41:22 have walked away from eyes curse after
41:24 Mako's arrest. But when she sees the
41:26 drowned puppies in the bathtub,
41:28 something inside her finally breaks. She
41:30 decides to pull the string. What follows
41:32 is one of Hellg Girl's most twisted
41:34 punishments. Mako sits inside of a
41:36 police car trying to play innocent until
41:39 the officers around her morph into eyes
41:41 companions. Then a massive monstrous
41:44 baby resembling her dead child looms
41:46 from above the car. The officers
41:48 transform again, this time into the dogs
41:50 that she's killed. The horror overwhelms
41:52 her as I appears to complete the job.
41:54 Even on her way to hell, Mako is still
41:57 obsessed with her money, begging I to
41:59 send her back just to be with it. But
42:01 when she looks into her reflection, her
42:03 face is no longer human. It's warped
42:05 into a bulldog snout. The realization
42:07 hits her just before she's swallowed by
42:09 the darkness she created. And in that
42:11 sense, Hellgirl's punishments are not
42:13 the usual physical torments that we've
42:15 seen in most anime shows in this list.
42:17 It begins with psychological torture
42:19 that breaks the mind. Before I even
42:21 drags them to hell, she puts each sinner
42:23 through their own personal nightmare,
42:25 forcing them to relive their deepest
42:27 fears until they completely lose it.
42:29 Only after their mind snaps are they
42:31 finally taken to hell, where the real
42:34 punishment begins, burning forever and
42:37 endless agony. Ciaru gets his revenge on
42:39 Flair. All right, let's be honest. This
42:41 one's going to stir the pot a bit since
42:43 we are diving into some pretty messed up
42:45 territory here. But you can't talk about
42:47 Bruter Revenge in anime without bringing
42:49 up Redo of Healer. This series is
42:52 infamous for a reason. It's one of those
42:54 shows where you almost feel guilty for
42:56 watching it because the revenge is so
42:57 graphic and disturbing that it comes
43:00 with a major content warning. The story
43:02 follows Kiaru, a healing mage whose
43:04 power lets him see the memories of those
43:07 he heals. Unfortunately, that gift
43:08 becomes his curse. His own party
43:11 captures him, tortures him for years,
43:14 and uses him in every imaginable way.
43:15 The Jirrowell kingdom is rotten to the
43:18 core. Ruled by Princess Flair, who
43:19 basically is the source of all his
43:21 suffering. She treats him like trash,
43:23 drugging him, breaking him down
43:25 mentally, allowing her knights to
43:27 violate him and turning him into a tool
43:29 that she can command. But in a battle
43:31 against the demon lord, Kiara unlocks
43:33 the true potential of his abilities and
43:34 gets his hands on the philosopher<unk>'s
43:36 stone. Instead of handing it over to
43:38 Flair like he's supposed to, he uses it
43:41 to turn back time, keeping his memories
43:43 intact so he can rewrite everything and
43:45 get his revenge on Flair and the entire
43:48 kingdom. After confirming Flair's just
43:50 as cruel as before, Kioro puts his plan
43:53 in motion. In the new timeline, he plays
43:55 along like nothing's changed. He lets
43:57 Flair imprison him again, pretends to be
43:59 obedient, and even endures more abuse
44:01 just to sell the act. But behind the
44:03 scenes, he's stealing power from the
44:05 people he heals. Building up the
44:07 strength he needs for payback. Once he's
44:09 strong enough, Kiaru escapes, disguises
44:11 himself as Leonard, Flair's top
44:13 commander, and when he gets Flair alone,
44:16 he strips away her magic, leaving her
44:19 completely helpless. What comes next is
44:21 rough. He starts breaking her fingers
44:24 one by one while she screams. Then he
44:26 makes this twisted deal. If she can stay
44:29 quiet through the rest, he'll stop. She
44:32 agrees, suffering through it in silence.
44:33 But right when she thinks that she's
44:36 won, he heals her hands and starts over.
44:38 This time, she screams because of how
44:41 unfair the whole thing is, and she loses
44:44 his sick game. What comes next is even
44:46 worse. And we're not going to detail
44:48 what happens, but let's just say that he
44:49 absolutely makes sure that she
44:51 experiences everything he went through
44:54 in the original timeline. After that, he
44:56 uses his healing magic to wipe her
44:57 memories and change her appearance
45:00 entirely. basically erasing who Flair
45:02 was and turning her into his obedient
45:04 servant. This anime isn't trying to win
45:05 you over or make you feel anything
45:07 except uncomfortable. It practically
45:09 dares you to keep watching. It knows
45:12 exactly how twisted it is and leans all
45:14 the way into it. So, if you got the
45:15 stomach for revenge that's raw,
45:18 unfiltered, and seriously disturbing,
45:21 Redo of Healer is waiting for you. But
