0:03 welcome back this week we'll start by
0:06 taking a look at the role of J of AI in
0:08 business and then after that at this
0:11 impact on Society for example it impact
0:14 on jobs we'll start by looking at how
0:16 people in many different job roles can
0:19 already use the web user interfaces to
0:21 access generative AI in their day-to-day
0:23 work after that we'll take a look at a
0:25 systematic framework for analyzing a
0:28 business to identify opportunities to
0:31 use genter AI to a or to automate
0:32 different tasks in the business maybe in
0:35 your business and to identify where
0:38 building or buying an LM based software
0:40 application might add value let's dive
0:43 in as you've seen previously an OM can
0:45 be a pretty good writing Assistance or
0:48 copy editor so if you ask it to rewrite
0:50 a piece of text to be suitable for a
0:52 professional business report you it'll
0:54 often do a pretty good job I use it
0:56 pretty often myself for this purpose
0:58 although I will double check its output
1:02 before using it in my own writing and
1:04 because Gena AI is a general purpose
1:06 technology I'm seeing also that it's
1:07 used by many different people in many
1:10 different job roles for example
1:12 marketers are using it to help
1:14 brainstorm ideas if you ask it help me
1:16 brainstorm an email campaign to
1:18 reactivate lot users then it might come
1:21 up with ideas for email campaigns like
1:23 this and if you want you can even ask it
1:26 further details of what a remiss you
1:29 email campaign might look like and so on
1:31 or if you're a recruiter I'm seeing
1:34 recruiters use LMS to summarize reviews
1:36 so here it says summarize the fin review
1:38 of a job candidate in 50 or fewer words
1:41 and it does usually a pretty decent job
1:43 although again I would recommend double
1:46 checking a summary before using and
1:49 fully relying on it but LS are pretty
1:52 good at summarizing text and for
1:54 programmers or software Engineers as
1:57 well L turn out to sometimes be hopeful
2:00 at writing an initial draft of some some
2:02 types of code so write python code to
2:04 calculate something fairly Technical and
2:07 in this case the um generates a correct
2:08 piece of code but once again it actually
2:11 often generates buggy code and so when
2:13 I'm using this for software developments
2:16 I will often end up having to fix it but
2:18 it's helpful to get a programmer started
2:21 on a task so people doing many different
2:24 types of job RS are already finding LMS
2:25 useful in their day-to-day work I find
2:28 myself often using an OM as a thought
2:30 Pond to help me think things through and
2:32 I hope that you too will find it useful
2:35 in your day-to-day work and when you
2:38 look across an organization what are the
2:41 most valuable opportunities for using
2:44 gent AI technology or for even trying to
2:47 build or buy software applications built
2:49 using om in the next video we'll start
2:52 to take a look at the framework of
2:54 looking at jobs and tasks done by an
2:57 organization to try to identify such
2:59 opportunities let's take a look at that
