0:02 I reviewed over 150 chairs. These are
0:04 the best ones at every price point.
0:06 Unfortunately, nothing in life is free
0:07 except for the like button, subscribe,
0:09 and [music] comment. And please hype the
0:11 video as well. But starting with the
0:13 best chair under $100, this is the
0:15 Amazon Basics chair. Now, I'm going to
0:17 be completely honest with you guys. I
0:18 don't recommend this chair anymore
0:20 because I do think this cushion is just
0:21 way too cheap. I think it's going to
0:23 flatten incredibly fast. But if you're
0:24 someone who doesn't sit all day, you
0:26 just sit sparingly here and there, you
0:28 just need something at your computer or
0:29 wherever setup because you sit like an
0:31 hour at a time, then this could be a
0:33 good option without breaking the bank.
0:35 It's got a decent cushion here. The arms
0:36 are soft, which I can't say about so
0:38 many other chairs. And the back is soft
0:41 all around. Again, not your high octane
0:43 all day workday chair, but for like
0:46 maybe a couple hours a day, not a bad
0:48 pickup. At the $100 to $200 price point,
0:51 I recommend anything from Staples. I
0:52 really like a lot of their chairs. They
0:54 offer a five-year warranty, and they
0:55 have a pretty good track record of
0:57 honoring their warranties. The top two
0:58 that I recommend if you're someone who
1:00 likes cushion and plush cushion, the
1:02 staple Serena here, it's a pretty basic
1:04 chair, but the cushioning feels really
1:06 good. And the armrest can swivel up and
1:07 completely out of the way so that you
1:09 don't jam them when you're spread arming
1:11 inside of the back, which so many of
1:12 these arm swivels do. This is literally
1:14 the only one that I could find where it
1:16 doesn't like dig into your triceps here.
1:18 So, there's that. And then if you want
1:20 mesh, I like the Staples Dexley the best
1:22 here. So if you want a mesh chair, this
1:24 one has pretty basic functionality as
1:26 well. It's got adjustable lumbar in the
1:27 back, which is not bad at this price
1:29 point. It's got a tilt lock as well and
1:31 a big old fat headrest in case you want
1:32 to lounge back. So those are the two I
1:34 recommend, but I get so many complaints
1:36 in this price point that oh, like it's
1:38 not available outside of the United
1:40 States. And so this is the one that I
1:41 recommend if you're outside the United
1:44 States. This is the CE who M18. This is
1:46 like a usually like $120ish chair. Um,
1:48 not bad. The the cushion is a little bit
1:50 on the firmer side, but it doesn't have
1:52 like a ton of give like that super
1:53 plush, so it doesn't feel like it's
1:55 going to bottom out anytime soon. The
1:57 back rest is not bad. The functionality
1:58 features, it's also got an adjustable
2:00 lumbar support, which you can also
2:02 tighten in and out as well. So, decent
2:04 functionality, really, really budget
2:05 friendly chair, and I think it's going
2:07 to be a much better pickup compared to
2:08 other ones I've seen at this price
2:10 point, especially if you're located
2:12 outside the United States. In the $200
2:14 to $300 price range, it's got to be the
2:16 Kami Atlas. This one you hear about all
2:18 the time from so many channels and
2:20 videos and it's because of the fact that
2:22 this thing offers so much functionality
2:24 and it's got decent amount of comfort
2:25 for its price point. Like you really
2:28 don't see this level of customization
2:30 and adjustments with a decent headrest
2:33 as well until you get to like that $400
2:35 plus price point. And so this thing is
2:37 really really nice. Um it's also got
2:38 some you know like metal coverings here
2:39 to make it look a little bit more
2:41 premium. The armrest you can see also
2:43 have like a metal frame as well. So, it
2:45 just adds to the rigidity and that like
2:46 the, you know, the build quality feeling
2:48 of the chair. The back rest is plastic,
2:50 but again, what do you expect at a chair
2:51 at this price point? Uh, it is going to
2:53 be a primarily plastic build. The
2:54 headrest is also pretty good. I did make
2:56 a mistake in my first video where I said
2:57 it couldn't move, but it can't. It was
2:59 just very, very stiff. So, you got a
3:00 tension kind of moving back and front.
3:02 The headrest moves kind of up and down
3:03 like this. You got to go all the way up
3:05 to bring it back down. This seat cushion
3:06 here is going to be a little bit on the
3:08 firmer edge, and it does feel a little
3:09 bit more rounded. So, it's not going to
3:11 be kind of like a nice like, you know,
3:13 cushion for your booty, so to speak, but
3:14 it's going to be more like a puffy
3:16 cushion, right? That's the best way to
3:17 put it. But, I would say it's got like a
3:19 decent amount of cushiness. Some people
3:21 have complained about how firm it is,
3:22 but I think it's because a lot of people
3:24 when they come to this chair, they're
3:26 probably upgrading from their like $100
3:28 Office Max Staples chair, which is going
3:30 to have that like pleather with really
3:33 like plushy cushion that ultimately ends
3:35 up bottoming out. And so when they come
3:37 from that, they come to this and they go
3:39 like, "Oh, it's super firm." It's
3:40 supposed to be a little bit firmer,
3:41 right? It's supposed to feel a little
3:42 bit more supportive compared to like
3:44 completely sinking into and sagging into
3:46 it, which is not always the best for
3:48 your lower back. It's not always the
3:49 best for your overall sitting health.
3:50 So, something to keep in mind. I'm not
3:52 saying if you feel like it's firm and
3:54 it's hurting you, that's totally legit.
3:56 I'm just saying like just keep in mind
3:57 it's not going to have that same kind of
4:00 like super duper plushy feel that you
4:02 might find on those super cheap chairs.
4:04 At the $300 to $400 price point, I'm
4:06 going to recommend a used Herman Miller
4:08 Aeron. You can find these all over the
4:10 place. You can find them on Marketplace.
4:12 I saw one the other day for like 200
4:13 bucks on my Facebook marketplace. I made
4:15 a whole video on how to buy one used.
4:17 These really are phenomenal chairs. And
4:19 these are the older models. And the
4:20 older models, they were made with like
4:23 complete metal inside of like its brains
4:25 down here. And I talked to a hero
4:26 mechanic and he was like, "Dude, the old
4:28 ones, they don't break. We just service
4:30 them. The newer ones, they tend to break
4:32 a little bit more because they introduce
4:34 more plastic into the brains down here.
4:36 But these old ones, these are tanks. And
4:38 so oftent times you really don't need to
4:39 do much. It would be nice if you could
4:40 sanitize it a little bit, but other than
4:42 that, I mean, these things are a beast
4:44 of a chair. It was my first like real
4:46 chair pickup back when I was a much
4:48 younger person. Uh, and I think these
4:50 things feel phenomenal. The mesh is
4:53 tuned so so well. Highly recommend. And
4:56 um, yeah, love it. In the $400 to $500
4:58 price point, I recommend the Hayworth
5:00 Bre. Now, this comes in many different
5:01 colors. So, don't be fooled because this
5:03 one is a little bit lighter, but there
5:04 are much darker colors. You know, black
5:06 on black as always, which is the most
5:08 popular color scheme. But this chair,
5:09 the reason why it stands out is because
5:11 I think the comfort is actually really
5:13 phenomenal for a chair in this price
5:14 point. But the thing that kind of like
5:16 blew me away was the warranty that comes
5:17 with this chair. It comes with a 12-year
5:19 warranty from a company called Hworth.
5:20 Hworth is one of the biggest chair
5:22 makers in the world. and they offer
5:23 12-year warranty with a good track
5:25 record of excellent customer service. I
5:28 think this chair just feels really good.
5:29 Like it can really get the job done.
5:31 This can be an all day seating chair.
5:32 I've tested this for multiple days at a
5:34 time and I thought it was great. The
5:36 seat cushion feels really good. This
5:38 back here, it's not going to be like the
5:41 softest kind of feeling rubbery mesh
5:43 ever, but it does feel soft. There's
5:45 nothing offensive about it. Um the build
5:46 quality is just kind of like whatever,
5:47 right? Cuz it's a primarily plastic
5:49 chair, but even the plastic feels pretty
5:52 darn good. And overall, I really really
5:53 like this chair. Like it is my favorite
5:55 chair kind of in this price point
5:58 because of that warranty to u comfort
5:59 feeling, especially the seat cushion. I
6:01 really really like it. Cannot recommend
6:04 this thing enough. In the $500 to $600
6:06 price point, this is the Hworth Soji.
6:08 Again, same company, Hworth, 12-year
6:10 warranty. Excellent customer service.
6:12 This is just overall a really, really
6:14 nice chair. It's got a higher back than
6:16 the Bre that you can see over there.
6:18 It's got a mesh back, so it kind of like
6:20 holds you more hammocky than the Bre
6:22 over there. And I think the seat cushion
6:24 is pretty similar. It's a little bit
6:26 wider, so it's a little bit better for
6:27 some, you know, big and taller friends,
6:29 so to speak. Here you can see that it's
6:30 got a lumbar support. You can raise this
6:32 thing up and down using either side. And
6:34 then it's got all the standard features,
6:35 right? You've got your armrest that can
6:37 move every which way that you want it to
6:39 go. Got the seat depth that can come
6:40 out. But one feature that you can get
6:42 added onto this chair is something
6:43 called the forward tilt. The forward
6:45 tilt is basically a lot of people when
6:46 they do work, they're kind of sitting
6:47 like this, but often ends up happening
6:50 is you end up hunching like this, right?
6:51 But the forward tilt allows the se to
6:53 tilt forward like this. And what that
6:55 does is it drives your feet into the
6:56 ground. Kind of opens those hips up and
6:59 allows you to sit properly upright like
7:00 this much easier when you're sitting
7:02 forward out of the chair. If this is
7:03 kind of how you sit when you work, this
7:06 can really help like really encourage
7:07 proper posture when you're sitting. So
7:09 forward tilt is an option you can get
7:10 into this. Of course, you're going to
7:11 have to pay a little extra if you decide
7:13 to get that option. So, something to
7:15 keep in mind. And overall, it's just a
7:17 really, really good chair. It's one that
7:19 like I feel like a lot of people don't
7:20 feel like they're breaking the bank at
7:22 this price point, but also, you know,
7:23 you're covered for the next 12 years.
7:24 So, in terms of bang for buck, there
7:27 really is nothing like it. I really am a
7:28 big fan of the Horth Soji and the
7:30 Hayward Bre. I think they're really,
7:31 really great chairs, especially for
7:32 their price points. Again, the way I
7:34 kind of did this was I looked at other
7:36 chairs in the price point and said,
7:37 which one just kind of demolishes all
7:39 the rest? And I do think the Hayward
7:40 Soji demolishes everything in this price
7:43 point. In the $600 to $800 price point,
7:45 I really haven't found any chair that's
7:47 blown me away. They all kind of have
7:49 like meh build quality, meh
7:51 functionality, meh comfort, and have
7:53 terrible warranties. But why would I
7:54 recommend that to you when all the
7:56 chairs you just saw have like meh build
7:58 quality, but with great to excellent
8:00 warranties? That doesn't make any sense.
8:02 So, I didn't want to put anything here
8:04 just for the sake of putting it in here.
8:05 The only chairs that I would recommend
8:07 at this price point are going to be used
8:09 chairs. So my friends over at Krenel
8:10 Office, they're really great. Um,
8:12 anything used steel case from them,
8:14 steelcase AMIA and the Steelcase Leap in
8:15 particular, those are standouts, but
8:17 that's only available here in the United
8:19 States and they are used. So I didn't
8:20 know if they qualified to be on this
8:22 list. The used Herman Miller Aerons,
8:23 that's because you can literally find
8:25 them anywhere. But uh the these other
8:26 used Steelcase chairs, they can be a
8:27 little bit harder. Colonel Office also
8:29 offers like a 12-year warranty and a
8:31 nice like revision and refurbishment of
8:33 the chair. So, they do add a lot of
8:34 value. So, something to keep in mind.
8:35 Let me know if I'm missing something
8:37 down in the comments below, though,
8:38 because I would love to find a chair
8:40 that works well in this price point. In
8:42 the $800 to $900 price point, again,
8:44 this was kind of a vacant space. I
8:46 couldn't really find any chair that I
8:47 thought worth recommending until this
8:50 year. This here is the Liberovo Omni.
8:51 And I know, I know they have been
8:54 spending a ton of money on advertising,
8:56 on sponsoring videos, and I also got
8:57 sponsored with them. This video in
8:58 particular is not sponsored. And I
9:01 genuinely think this is a phenomenal
9:02 chair. Like I do think they've knocked
9:04 it out of the park with this one. I like
9:05 it a lot. I've been sitting on this one
9:07 pretty much every single day in the
9:09 studio because I want to do a long-term
9:10 review of it and every single day I sit
9:12 on it. Every single day I feel great,
9:14 right? I've been sitting on it for long
9:16 hours at a time. It's it's like I don't
9:18 miss my other chairs because of it. It's
9:20 just a really really great chair. I
9:21 think it can go even deeper than that
9:23 for lounging. Like this is phenomenal.
9:25 It feels great on the back. I really
9:26 like the cushioning of it. It's a little
9:29 bit softer than what you'd be used to on
9:31 like a typical ergonomic chair. And so
9:32 for all those reasons, I think it's
9:33 really really great. But it does have
9:35 its flaws. So again, in case people are
9:36 like, "Ah, you're sponsor. You're
9:38 shill." It's like, "No, I'm very sober
9:40 about its weaknesses. The arms move way
9:42 too easily out of place." This lower
9:44 back can be a little bit aggressive or
9:46 out for a lot of people. This front
9:48 extended cushion, they don't actually
9:50 have a frame here to hold that cushion,
9:52 so it just kind of flops forward. So
9:54 there are weaknesses to this chair. And
9:56 the warranty being 5year warranty for
9:57 the chair and 2-year on the motors. I
9:59 know that's a big complaint that people
10:01 have. So, yeah, I'm very sober and I'm
10:03 the one who called out a lot of these um
10:05 cons about this chair, but even so, I
10:09 think they offer a ton so much good here
10:11 for this price. For a chair to make it
10:12 on this list, it needs to beat
10:14 everything else in its price point. And
10:15 I think the Liberova Omni does that. It
10:17 beats out the Herman Miller Vant. The
10:19 Herman Miller Vant looks so terrible
10:21 compared to the Liberova Omni because of
10:23 just how much more comfortable and how
10:24 much more functionality this chair
10:26 offers. But it's not just that. I think
10:28 this chair also dominates a bunch of
10:30 chairs above its price point as well,
10:31 which is why I'm going to say this is
10:33 probably the best chair actually from
10:36 the $800 price point all the way up to
10:38 $1,200. So, we're going to jump straight
10:41 now from $1,200 to $1,300. At $1,200 to
10:44 $1,300, this is the Steelcase Leap V2.
10:46 This is one of the most popular chairs
10:48 in the entire world. And again, for good
10:49 reason. I say this so often, but
10:51 Steelcase is one of the best chair
10:52 companies in the world. Offers a 12-year
10:54 warranty, free returns, which is really
10:56 awesome. great track record of excellent
10:58 customer service and the Steelcase Leafy
11:00 2 is just iconic, right? Just the amount
11:02 of flexibility you get inside of this
11:04 chair as you sit in it is phenomenal.
11:06 It's got a great tilt functionality as
11:08 well where the seat actually comes out.
11:09 In normal chairs, when you tilt back
11:11 like this, a lot of people like end up
11:12 having to pull their hips out a little
11:14 bit to get a little bit more comfort,
11:15 but with this type of tilt mechanism,
11:17 your hip kind of comes out with you. So,
11:19 it's really really nice. It feels great.
11:21 The cushioning is good overall. I do
11:23 think the seat cushion is a little bit
11:24 thin. uh Candle office, they sell a
11:26 thicker seat cushion. I keep saying this
11:28 all the time because people get the Leap
11:29 and then they're like, "Oh, I'm
11:30 bottoming out on it." And I'm like,
11:31 "Yeah, I know. That's something I talk
11:33 about a lot is that I think the seat
11:34 cushion on the Leap is just a little bit
11:36 too thin." Um, yeah. So, something to
11:38 keep in mind. And then if you are
11:39 someone who's located in the United
11:41 States, Cranle Office sells a matching
11:44 headrest for the Leap chairs, if you get
11:45 one of theirs cuz they can match the
11:47 fabrics cuz they use their own. Uh, if
11:49 you don't have a Cranle Office or you're
11:50 located outside the United States, they
11:51 partnered up with Atlas Headrest who
11:53 sells this headrest. you can get that on
11:55 there. I think it's a much needed add-on
11:58 here because the Leaf's back is not all
11:59 that tall and so if you are taller, it
12:01 can be a nice add-on to add some like
12:03 upper back/ neck support in the chair.
12:05 But yeah, overall I think this chair is
12:07 phenomenal. Feels really good overall.
12:09 Still case sleepy too. From the $1,300
12:11 to $1,400 price point, I highly
12:13 recommend a Hayworth Fern, but I do
12:14 recommend that you get one with the
12:16 aluminum base because I think the
12:17 aluminum base is just going to have
12:19 better build quality overall. It's going
12:21 to feel a lot more structured, a lot
12:23 more stable and stiff, so to speak. Um,
12:25 but yeah, overall I really like this
12:26 chair because I really like that this
12:28 chair balances. So, this is the mesh
12:30 back. It balances comfort with
12:32 breathability. So, this back, I think it
12:33 feels really comfortable. It's got a
12:35 thin layer of cushion here. So, you
12:36 don't really feel like the ridges from
12:39 this like rubber like material in the
12:40 background. And that rubber material is
12:42 going to be what gives you that
12:43 breathability and flexibility all at the
12:45 same time. So you can see here when I'm
12:46 sitting inside the chair, you can see
12:48 just how much that back is flexing with
12:50 me, but at the same time you get the
12:52 added cushion there and you get
12:53 breathability. So I think it's just
12:55 really really awesome. Keep in mind that
12:57 the seat is a little bit on the firmer
12:58 side. So something to keep in mind. And
12:59 a lot of people have been complaining
13:01 about like build quality issues and I do
13:03 think that um it's happening most
13:06 commonly on plastic frame ferns. I do
13:08 think on the aluminum ones you do get
13:09 better build quality. Things do feel a
13:10 little bit more uh in Korean we call
13:12 tintinet, right? Just robust. That's the
13:13 right word. Like robust, right? So, it
13:15 just feels more robust. Um, I really
13:17 like the firm. I really like the lumbar
13:18 support here. I really like this bubble
13:20 here. Uh, some people again find it a
13:22 little bit too aggressive. But overall,
13:24 I really do like the Hworth Fern. It is
13:25 one of my favorite chairs. It sits at
13:27 home with me. Uh, as well as I've got
13:28 two other chairs there as well. But
13:30 yeah, so I sit on it every night and
13:31 every night I'm just like, ah, I miss
13:33 this chair. I really like it a lot. Oh,
13:35 and also Hworth sells a Fern with the
13:37 headrest. I highly recommend you do not
13:39 get it. That headrest is awful. If you
13:41 really need one, you can pick one up
13:42 from Atlas Headrest. I I really don't
13:44 recommend the headrest from Hayward.
13:46 It's It's really bad. From $1,400 to
13:49 $1,500, this is the Herman Miller Mirror
13:51 2. You can see that it's a very very
13:52 interesting looking chair. Some people
13:54 love the way it looks, some people hate
13:55 the way it looks. Comes in all different
13:57 sorts of colors. I think colors is like
13:59 one of the big selling points of the
14:01 Mirror 2 because you can really get it
14:02 to match pretty much any setup. It
14:04 actually looks pretty cool. But yeah, I
14:06 mean overall compared to like to most
14:08 mesh chairs, this thing actually has a
14:10 ton of flexibility and movability inside
14:12 of the chair. So here you get this like
14:14 front thing that you can actually pull
14:15 up if you need additional seat depth,
14:17 which is not something you see in a lot
14:18 of mesh chairs. And if they do, it's
14:20 usually a slide out one. If it's a slide
14:22 out one, you feel the hard back. So you
14:23 know, like this is a nice little way
14:25 that they did it here. Armrest can go
14:26 super high and super low. It's probably
14:29 one of the lowest armrests on this list.
14:30 But yeah, the fact that it's all mesh
14:32 here and it's got more of an open feel
14:33 compared to the Hermit Miller Aeron,
14:34 which you'll see in just a little bit.
14:36 You've already seen the classic one I
14:37 talked about earlier. you know, like
14:39 it's just got a much more open feel, a
14:41 much more flexible feel. So, it just
14:43 feels a little bit nicer. The only thing
14:44 that you got to keep in mind is that,
14:46 you know, the seat is a little bit on
14:48 the narrow side. So, even for me being
14:50 5'6, about 170 lbs. You can see like if
14:52 I ever want to spread my legs, I start
14:54 to kind of dig into the sides here. This
14:55 something to keep in mind. But, yeah,
14:57 overall really well-built chair. Herman
14:58 Miller, one of the best chair Americans
15:00 in the world, offers a 12-year warranty
15:02 on their chairs. And yeah, the mirror is
15:04 definitely one that's like really cool,
15:05 like cool to look at, very unique, you
15:07 know, statement piece kind of chair that
15:10 also feels really good. From $1,500 to
15:12 $1,700, you have another dead zone here.
15:13 No chair in this price point really
15:16 stands out and amazes me here. You might
15:17 as well save some money by getting a
15:19 chair that came before this. Or you can
15:20 get one of those chairs and kind of pimp
15:21 them out with your favorite color or
15:23 fabric cuz those usually bump up the
15:24 price. So, you could do that or save up
15:26 a little bit more and get a chair that
15:28 comes after this price point. At $1,700
15:31 to $1,800, you have the Anthros chair
15:32 here. Now, MSRP, it's going to be a
15:33 little bit higher. If you use my link,
15:35 you get like $200 off or something,
15:37 which brings it into this price point.
15:39 Now, this chair is another fairly new
15:41 player on the market. It was developed
15:42 by a bunch of people who uh built
15:44 wheelchairs, so they know what it's like
15:46 to sit all day long. Uh I do think it's
15:48 probably the best chair that I know of
15:50 for better posture support, better lower
15:53 back support, and lower back pain and
15:55 back pain support. So, I really do think
15:56 there's a lot of love and a lot of
15:58 research that went into this chair and I
16:00 think overall it just feels phenomenal.
16:02 Um, you can ask people like I think in
16:03 my ultimate chair buyers guide that I
16:05 made, um, I have a clip of pretty
16:07 well-known streamer who talks about like
16:08 how comfortable the chair is, even
16:09 though he doesn't know what the chair is.
16:10 is.
16:11 >> It's very comfy though. I like it. What
16:12 kind of chair is this?
16:14 >> Uh, I don't remember, but they, uh, they
16:15 gave it to me.
16:16 >> Very comfy.
16:17 >> Uh, and so, you know, like there is
16:19 proof out there that I'm not crazy.
16:20 People are like, "Oh, you're just
16:21 chilling out the chair." It's like, no.
16:23 Again, I know it has its issues. I think
16:25 these arms feel terrible, right? And
16:26 that's a common theme on pretty much
16:27 every chair, no matter what price
16:29 they're at. Is it the best looking
16:31 chair? Not really. Is it a really unique
16:33 looking chair? Yeah, for sure. Um, but
16:34 the proof is in the pudding. Like once
16:36 you sit in it, once you dial it in, this
16:38 pelvic support here, oh man, it just
16:40 feels so good. Like you just get that
16:42 lower back support is phenomenal inside
16:43 of this chair. And then this top one,
16:45 you can kind of adjust to however you
16:47 want inside of it. And then you can kind
16:48 of make it fancy. You can get different
16:49 like wood layouts and stuff like that on
16:51 the back rest here. I've got one back
16:52 there in that corner. I've got a white
16:54 one. And so, yeah, I do think the
16:55 Anthther chair, it's like the one that I
16:56 always recommend. People are like, "Hey,
16:58 I'm wrestling with lower back pain. What
17:00 do you recommend?" And my always go-to
17:02 is the Anthos chair. So, yeah, I do
17:04 recommend this one highly. I like it a
17:05 lot. Everyone who sits in it, they're
17:07 always like, "I get it. I get what it's
17:08 doing." Whether they like it or not,
17:10 that's a different point. But, they
17:11 understand the purpose of this chair.
17:13 It's to make them sit better, healthier,
17:16 longer. They also offer a 60-day trial
17:18 period. And in that trial period, you
17:20 can talk with, I think, what is like
17:21 physical therapist or something to kind
17:23 of help you dial in the chair correctly,
17:25 which is a value ad and an offer that no
17:27 other chair company offers. In the
17:29 $1,800 to $1,900 price point, you have
17:31 the Herman Miller remastered Aeron.
17:32 These are going to be the newer ones.
17:34 The one I showed you earlier, that's a
17:35 classic Aeron. They stopped making those
17:37 in, I believe, 2007 or something. So,
17:39 afterwards, they started making this one
17:41 here. This one does have some updates
17:43 and improvements like the front kind of
17:45 falls a little bit faster to prevent any
17:46 kind of like pressure buildup in the
17:48 thighs. This mesh also feels a little
17:50 bit higher quality, a little bit nicer,
17:52 a little less tacky and plasticky to the
17:53 touch. The arms are also much more
17:55 adjustable compared to the classic ones.
17:59 I forgot how unmovable or nonadjustable
18:00 the classic Aeron's arms were cuz I
18:02 haven't sat on it in a long time and
18:03 every time I sit on the remastered I'm
18:05 like, "Oh yeah, these actually are
18:06 pretty phenomenal armrest." Like they
18:08 did a really good job on these armrests.
18:09 I think the padding is also pretty good
18:12 as well. Really nice and cushy. Um, in
18:13 terms of the dials and stuff, I kind of
18:14 mentioned this earlier, right? But, uh,
18:16 mechanic told me that on the remastered
18:18 Aerons, they started introducing more
18:20 plastic bits in the brain of the chair
18:21 down here. And so, they have seen some
18:23 breaks, things that they have to repair.
18:25 Whereas on the classic ones, it was just
18:26 all like metal. And so, they said on the
18:28 metal ones, they just don't break. So,
18:30 we just have to service them. Whereas on
18:31 this one, they have to actually repair.
18:33 So, I am actually living proof of that.
18:35 I actually had to get a remastered Aeron
18:36 replaced because the forward tilt on it.
18:38 I showed this forward tilt a little bit
18:40 earlier on this list, but the Aerons can
18:42 also forward tilt. So, this is me
18:43 sitting upright. And then if I go ahead
18:45 and do this, you can see that I'm
18:46 forward tilting, right? So, this forward
18:47 tilt, it's kind of done with this
18:50 plastic bar here like this. And that
18:52 plastic bar broke. And so, this thing
18:53 wouldn't stop at the horizontal level
18:56 and kept forward tilting like this here.
18:57 The forward tilt is supposed to help you
18:58 like get your feet into the ground, open
19:00 up the hips, and then allow you to kind
19:01 of sit upright in the chair when you're
19:02 not making full contact with the back,
19:04 which is really, really nice. But yeah,
19:06 so this piece broke and that's when I
19:07 got the mechanics to come and that's
19:08 kind of when they gave me a rundown of
19:10 like what it's like to service a
19:11 remastered versus the classics cuz I was
19:13 just really curious. If you want to get
19:15 a headrest with the Aerons, Herman
19:16 Miller doesn't make the headrest for
19:17 these. These are made by Atlas headrest.
19:19 You can get either like a fabric looking
19:21 one or you can get a 1:1 mesh matching
19:23 one. That's going to add an additional
19:25 like $190 to your Aeron which is going
19:27 to take it out of its price point. But
19:29 yeah, I think the Aeron is a really
19:30 really great chair. It was the first
19:32 chair that like solved a lot of lower
19:33 back issues I was having while sitting
19:35 when back when I was a much younger man.
19:37 And so, yeah, it holds a special place
19:38 in my heart. This is the fully loaded
19:40 one here. You can see that the lumbar
19:42 support looks like a shoe back here. If
19:44 you get one that looks like a football
19:46 or one that only has this bottom piece
19:48 here, that's going to be a quote unquote
19:49 cheaper lumbar support. And so, it's
19:51 going to bring the price down. The thing
19:53 about Aerons is like there's so many
19:55 little things that you can add on that
19:56 bring the price up. And so if you want
19:58 to see like a full guide on what every
20:01 adjustment and thing does, um I believe
20:02 I made a video on that. I'll go ahead
20:03 and link it over here somewhere. It's an
20:05 oldie but a goodie. But yeah, Herman
20:08 Miller Aeron remastered at $2,000 plus
20:10 is the Herman Miller Gaming and Body.
20:13 This is my favorite chair. I love every
20:14 chair that I talked about on this list.
20:17 Like I genuinely love every chair that I
20:18 talked about on this list, but this
20:20 chair is home for me. It's kind of like
20:22 that feeling, you know, when you go on
20:23 vacation and you're having a great time,
20:25 everything's novel, everything feels
20:27 great, and then you come home and then
20:28 you just lay in your own bed and then
20:30 you're just like, "Fuck, that feels
20:32 good." Right? That's what the Herman
20:34 Miller gaming body is for me. This feels
20:37 like home. I have tried so many chairs
20:38 in hopes that it would beat it because
20:40 I'm just like, does it have to be that
20:42 the most expensive one is the best one?
20:44 Right? I And I'm trying to find a chair
20:46 that I can like soundly say, "No, it's
20:48 better than this." There are a lot of
20:49 chairs that I think are better for its
20:50 price than the Embbody for sure. Like
20:52 the Liberova Omni for the price, I think
20:54 it shoots way above its price point. And
20:55 if somebody is like, I don't want to
20:56 spend that much money, I would go
20:58 Liberova Omni, hands down, right? But if
21:00 they're like, no, I want the best chair
21:02 that money can buy. It's the gaming body
21:04 for me. Like, it really is. And again,
21:06 so many people are like, oh, like you're
21:08 such a shill. I'm like, no. Every video
21:09 I make about the Herman Miller gaming
21:11 body, I'm like, there are flaws about
21:13 this chair that you need to be aware of.
21:15 The lower back here, this thing can prod
21:16 a little bit. It gets aggressive. You
21:18 can adjust it. The gaming embody hides
21:20 it better than the non- gaming cuz it's
21:21 got some padding right there. So, it
21:22 hides it better than the gaming or the
21:24 non- gaming. That's why I like the
21:25 gaming one better. The non-gaming also
21:27 seems to kind of this top edges here.
21:29 They seem to turn in a little bit
21:30 sooner. And so, even for me who's
21:32 shorter, I can feel a little bit of that
21:34 kind of like poking into my back a tiny
21:36 bit, but the gaming one seems a little
21:38 bit wider out and so it doesn't dig into
21:40 the shoulders nearly as much. So, those
21:42 are like two major cons. The digging of
21:44 the shoulders, the stiff lumbar support
21:45 here. The armrests aren't very
21:47 adjustable. They go up and down and then
21:49 they move in and out and that's pretty
21:51 much it. They don't go forward and back.
21:53 They don't go swivel any which way. So
21:55 yeah, I am very aware of the weaknesses
21:57 of the EmBody. Also, it's crazy crazy
22:00 expensive. And yet still time and time
22:01 again, every single time I finish my
22:03 reviews, every single time I had the
22:05 opportunity to just sit on the gaming
22:08 body, I sit in it and I'm like, "No,
22:11 this is the best chair that money can
22:13 buy." Like, I think it's my favorite. So
22:14 many people out there have agreed with
22:15 me that they have found their favorite
22:18 chair in the gaming body. I and if you
22:20 can afford it, I highly recommend it.
22:22 And if you want a headrest, again, Atlas
22:24 headrest makes a 1 to1 matching headrest
22:25 for all the gaming bodies at this point,
22:27 except for the newest colors, I think.
22:28 And I think this combination here is
22:30 going to be my favorite. And I hope
22:32 maybe in 2026 we'll find a chair that
22:33 dethrons it. If you guys think you found
22:35 one that does, let me know in the
22:37 comments below. And until next time,
