0:32 John
0:36 1 verse 29 through verse [Music]
0:38 [Music]
0:42 42 the next day John seeth Jesus coming
0:46 unto him and sath Behold the Lamb of God
0:50 who taketh away the sin of the
0:53 world this is he of whom I
0:56 said after me cometh a man who is
1:00 preferred before me for he was before me
1:03 me and I knew him not but that he should
1:06 be made manifest to Israel therefore am
1:09 I come baptizing with
1:13 water and John bore witness saying I saw
1:16 the Spirit descending from heaven like a
1:19 dove and it Abode upon him and I knew
1:22 him not but he that sent me to baptize
1:26 with water the same said unto me upon
1:28 whom Thou shalt see the spirit
1:33 descending and remaining on him the same
1:36 is he who baptizeth with the Holy
1:40 Spirit and I saw and bore witness that
1:42 this is the Son of
1:46 God again the next day John stood and
1:47 two of his
1:50 disciples and looking Upon Jesus as he
1:54 walked he sath Behold the Lamb of
1:57 God and the two disciples heard him
2:00 speak and they followed Jesus
2:02 then Jesus turned and saw them following
2:06 and SE unto them what seek
2:09 ye they said unto him Rabbi which is to
2:12 say being interpreted Master where dwellest
2:14 dwellest
2:17 thou he Seth unto them come and
2:21 see they came and saw where he dwelt and
2:24 Abode with him that day for it was about
2:25 the 10th
2:28 hour one of the two who heard John speak
2:31 and followed him was and Simon Peter's
2:34 brother he first findeth his own brother
2:37 Simon and Seth unto him we have found
2:40 the Messiah which is being interpreted the
2:41 the
2:44 Christ and he brought him to
2:48 Jesus and when Jesus beheld him he
2:51 said Thou Art Simon the son of
2:54 John Thou shalt be called
2:57 sephus which is by
3:01 interpretation a stone
3:03 and he brought him to
3:09 Jesus may this word bring many to Jesus [Music]
3:32 and he brought
3:41 Jesus those simple words from John 1:
3:45 42 describe for us the greatest
3:47 privilege and the greatest miracle that
3:49 anybody could
3:55 experience and he brought him to
4:00 Jesus he Andrew brought him Simon to
4:02 to
4:05 Jesus and little did Simon realize that
4:08 day that this would be the beginning of
4:10 Miracles for
4:13 him over in John Chapter 2 we have the
4:17 miracle of the Turning of the water into
4:20 wine and the writer says this beginning
4:23 of miracles did
4:26 Jesus and it was the first of his public
4:30 Miracles but back in John chap 1
4:32 a miracle had taken
4:35 place and he brought him to
4:39 Jesus and Simon experience that Miracle
4:41 of Miracles which is the beginning of
4:44 Miracles and little did he realize that
4:47 he'd have a miracle life from then on
4:50 that he would see miracles in his
4:54 home that he would see miracles in his
4:57 business he would experience miracles of
5:00 Deliverance and miracles of pro
5:04 protection and miracles of
5:08 provision and best of all miracles of
5:11 character for Jesus Christ was going to
5:14 take a piece of clay named
5:18 Simon and turn him into a rock and
5:20 that's a great
5:23 miracle Simon was going to become a
5:25 living miracle and he was going to reach
5:27 out and touch other people and they
5:29 would experience the miracle this is
5:32 what the Christian life is all about and
5:35 he brought him to
5:38 Jesus now I'm sure that each of us here
5:41 today is interested in Sharing in the
5:43 miracle working of
5:46 God God still performs
5:49 Miracles God is still in the miracle
5:53 working business in homes and in
5:56 businesses he still has miracles of
5:59 protection and provision and guidance and
6:02 and
6:04 salvation I don't want to live an
6:05 ordinary life I want to live an
6:09 extraordinary life life is too short to
6:12 be spent in some kind of a boring
6:15 parenthesis I want life to be filled
6:17 with power and abundance and blessing
6:20 from the hand of God I'm not talking
6:22 necessarily about material things I'm
6:24 talking about spiritual
6:27 things Peter was never a wealthy man he
6:29 said to a beggar one day silver Gold
6:33 Have I None but such as I have give I
6:35 unto thee in the name of Jesus Christ of
6:39 Nazareth stand up and walk and a miracle
6:41 took place and I would rather go through
6:44 life touching the lives of people and
6:47 sharing a
6:55 money you and I can experience the
6:58 miracle of God perhaps if we look at
7:02 Simon and an Andrew and Jesus we will
7:04 understand what it means to experience
7:07 the miracle of God and he brought him to
7:10 Jesus there were three persons involved
7:13 in this miracle and if we examine these
7:16 three persons I think we will understand
7:18 what it means to be a part of the
7:22 miracle working of God three persons
7:25 first there was Simon The
7:28 Sinner and then there was Andrew the
7:31 soul winner
7:32 and then there was
7:35 Jesus the
7:38 Savior now the names may change this
7:41 morning except that Jesus won't it may
7:45 not be Simon and Andrew it may be two
7:48 other persons but it'll always be Jesus
7:52 and he brought him to Jesus let's look
7:55 at him Simon The
7:59 Sinner many people have a false view of P
8:00 P
8:04 pet because uh during a crisis in his
8:05 life he
8:08 cursed and he denied the Lord Jesus
8:10 there are people who have the idea that
8:13 Simon Peter was always
8:15 always
8:20 a worldly minded
8:24 impetuous rough cursing fisherman and
8:25 that's not
8:28 true you wouldn't judge Abraham because
8:32 twice told a lie about his wife Abraham
8:34 is the man of
8:38 Faith you wouldn't judge um
8:41 David because David committed
8:44 adultery David was a great man of
8:45 courage and
8:48 victory you certainly wouldn't judge
8:51 Moses because one day he lost his temper
8:53 my Bible tells me Moses was the meekest
8:56 of all men on the face of the Earth and
8:58 so don't move in on Peter and say hey
9:00 Peter in the garden when you were under
9:02 pressure you cursed and swore so all of
9:04 your life you must have been a cursing
9:06 swearing fisherman no
9:09 no when you read the record you discover
9:14 that Simon was a
9:17 devoted obedient
9:21 Jew Simon kept a kosher
9:24 home in Acts chapter 10 when Simon was
9:27 up on the top of the house waiting for
9:30 them to fix some dinner and the lord
9:32 gave him that vision of that great sheet
9:36 that was let down remember that in that
9:39 sheet were all kinds of living creatures
9:42 and God said to Peter rise Peter kill
9:46 and eat and Peter said not so Lord for I
9:48 have never eaten anything that's common
9:53 or unclean he kept the Old Testament
9:57 law don't get the idea that Simon Peter
10:00 was a rough worldly
10:02 worldly minded
10:04 minded
10:07 sinful disobedient Jewish fisherman Oh
10:11 no just the opposite is true Simon Peter
10:14 knew the Old Testament law and he obeyed
10:17 the Old Testament law and when Andrew
10:20 came to get Simon he was laying hands on
10:24 a man who was obedient to the law he was
10:26 not an irreligious man he was a religious
10:28 religious
10:31 man but you know Simon Peter had
10:33 discovered something about that law he
10:34 couldn't keep
10:38 it in Acts chapter 15 when the Jewish
10:40 Council the church is getting together
10:43 and meeting about whether or not
10:46 Gentiles have to become Jews before they
10:49 can become Christians Peter gave
10:51 testimony Peter said you remember how
10:53 God chose me to go to the Gentiles and
10:55 open to them the door of Salvation now
11:00 says Peter in Acts 15 why should we put
11:04 on the Gentiles a yoke which we
11:07 ourselves could not bear now you put
11:10 acts 10 and acts 15 together and you see
11:13 what Peter was like before he was saved
11:19 an obedient religious kosher Jew wearing
11:24 a yoke of bondage that was ging him and breaking
11:26 breaking
11:29 him but you see the law served its Purp
11:33 purpose in Simon's life Galatians 3:24
11:36 tells me that the purpose of the law was
11:39 to be a school Master to bring us to
11:42 Christ and that's exactly what it did
11:44 with Simon all of these years he had
11:47 been studying the law and trying to obey
11:50 the law he was crushed under the burden
11:53 of the Yoke of the law but you know what
11:56 that law did that law prepared him so
12:00 that when Jesus Christ came Simon was
12:03 ready to meet him and Andrew came and said
12:04 said
12:07 Simon you and I have been trying to keep
12:09 this law all of our lives and we can't
12:12 do it but we found the Messiah we have
12:14 found the one that we've been studying
12:16 about we found the one that we've been
12:19 searching for and he brought him to
12:23 Jesus and it was there that
12:27 Simon discovered a different yoke Jesus
12:30 Christ had said come un to me all ye
12:33 that labor under heavy laden and I will
12:37 give you rest take my yoke upon on you
12:40 and learn of me for I am meek and lowly
12:43 in heart and ye shall find rest under
12:45 your souls and Simon said that's what
12:49 I've been looking for rest and he took
12:54 off the Yoke of bondage and religion and
12:58 law and by faith he put on the Yoke of Jesus
13:05 Christ and he was
13:09 saved and Jesus gave him a new
13:11 name Jesus said now I know your name is
13:14 Simon that means a hearer it's the Old
13:17 Testament word Simeon to
13:21 hear and you've heard and faith comes by
13:23 hearing and hearing by the word of God
13:24 but I'm going to give you a new name Peter
13:26 Peter
13:29 sephus a rock
13:32 I suppose if anybody from his business
13:33 had been there other than his brother
13:35 they would have smiled and said a
13:40 rock this hunk of clay a rock this this
13:42 Sand Dune a
13:45 rock but that's what Jesus said a new
13:48 name signifying a new
13:51 nature something had happened down in
13:54 Peter now my friend the Lord prepares
13:58 people to come to Christ he prepared
14:00 Simon I I don't know how he's preparing
14:03 you sometimes people go through a stricken
14:04 stricken
14:06 conscience sometimes there are those
14:10 whose consciences are just beating at
14:12 them the judge is sitting behind the
14:15 desk pounding the gavel and saying
14:17 guilty guilty
14:19 guilty now if that's your situation my
14:21 friend God is saying what you need to do
14:24 is to come to Jesus the way Simon
14:26 did sometimes God prepares people with
14:29 great blessing
14:30 someone has said that they feel sorry
14:32 for atheists because when they have
14:34 something to be thankful for they have
14:35 no one to
14:38 thank and sometimes God brings blessing
14:41 to people the goodness of God leads us
14:43 to repentance and I have met people who
14:46 have said God has been so good to me and
14:49 I have not been good to him what must I
14:51 do to be
14:53 saved sometimes God takes people through
14:56 sorrow or tragedy or
14:59 emptiness life just seems so empty and
15:03 so dry and so baren and instead of
15:05 living in a paradise we're crawling
15:08 through a desert and that's God's saying
15:10 you need to come to Christ I don't know
15:15 how God prepares you but he prepared
15:17 Simon he wants to prepare you to meet
15:21 the Lord Jesus Simon The
15:24 Sinner and he came to
15:27 Jesus now let's look at Andrew the soul winner
15:29 winner
15:31 I appreciate this man
15:33 Andrew poor fellow always had to take
15:37 second fiddle to Simon Peter his brother
15:39 it's never Andrew Peter it's always
15:42 Peter Andrew in fact it's Peter Andrew
15:46 James John philli Barth but always Peter
15:48 Peter's first that didn't make any
15:50 difference to uh to Andrew whenever you
15:53 find Andrew in the Gospel of John he's
15:56 always doing the same thing he's always
15:57 bringing someone to Jesus you ever
15:59 noticed that
16:01 some years ago over in England they had
16:04 a program called operation
16:06 Andrew I don't think we'll find any
16:09 sermons from Andrew in the Bible we
16:11 don't have any records of his preaching
16:14 we do Peter we have two or three long
16:16 sermons from Peter but not from Andrew
16:19 we don't have any details about Andrew's
16:21 life but we know this about Andrew
16:23 whenever you find him in the Gospel of
16:26 John he's got someone in tow and he's
16:28 bringing that person to Jesus he brought
16:32 his brother to Jesus in John chap 6 he
16:35 brought that lad to Jesus who had the
16:37 Loaves and the fishes they were
16:38 wondering what are we going to do to
16:42 feed 5,000 people and and uh they said
16:43 well there's a lad here and Andrew
16:46 brought that lad to Jesus over in John
16:49 12 some Gentiles showed up and they
16:51 wanted to talk to the Lord and they came
16:53 and told philli and Philip told Andrew
16:55 and it was Philip and Andrew who brought
16:59 them to Jesus you know when we yet on
17:00 the other
17:04 side when we exchange the smog of
17:07 Chicago for the glory of
17:09 Heaven the one thing that's really going
17:13 to count is did we bring someone to
17:16 Jesus I appreciate Andrew the soul
17:19 winner you say well can I be a soul
17:22 winner yes I don't have any record here
17:24 that Andrew took any special courses we
17:26 have the privilege of taking courses and
17:28 we ought to I don't see here that Andrew
17:31 read any special books or listen to any
17:32 lectures but there was something in
17:36 Andrew's life that made him a soul
17:38 winner now what was it well I think
17:41 first of all he was a converted man he
17:43 had met the Lord Jesus Christ and he had
17:46 something to talk about after all a
17:49 witness a soul winner is not a
17:51 prosecuting attorney who goes out to
17:52 argue with
17:55 people Andrew didn't go and argue with
17:57 Simon he would have gotten nowhere Simon
18:00 would have talked him right down no
18:03 Andrew just simply went and said we have
18:07 found the Messiah that's all he said he
18:08 didn't sit him down some preach a
18:11 three-point sermon no he said we have
18:15 found the Messiah I have found something
18:17 Simon you and I for years have been
18:19 looking for something and we have found
18:21 it we have found the Messiah we have
18:23 found the
18:25 Savior Andrew had been listening to John
18:28 the Baptist preach you know God wins
18:29 people in different
18:34 ways John and Andrew were won through
18:35 the preaching of John the Baptist some
18:38 people are won through preaching Simon
18:41 Was Won through the personal witness of
18:43 his brother Andrew later on in this
18:46 chapter Jesus goes and talks to a man
18:48 personally and doesn't even use another
18:51 person to win him God wins people in
18:53 different ways but those of us who are
18:56 going to share Jesus Christ had better
18:58 have something to share this was the
19:02 problem John Wesley had John Wesley came
19:04 over to the United States to convert the
19:06 Indians and he himself needed to be
19:09 converted and when he get got back to
19:10 London and went to that meeting in
19:13 Aldersgate Street and discovered that he
19:15 had never trusted
19:19 Christ Andrew is a converted man Andrew
19:22 and John are listening to John the
19:25 Baptist preach and Along Comes Jesus you
19:28 see John the Baptist had a job to do and
19:30 that was to get get rid of his followers
19:33 and make them the Lord's followers you
19:35 beware of anybody who wants you to be
19:38 his follower God never called us to make
19:40 disciples for ourselves he called us to
19:42 make disciples for the Lord Jesus and
19:44 here comes Jesus walking and John the
19:46 Baptist says Behold the Lamb of God and
19:48 he lost two of his best disciples he
19:51 didn't care that's why he was there and
19:53 these men went and followed the Lord
19:55 Jesus and Jesus turned around and he
19:56 asked two question he asked a question
19:58 he said what are you seeking
19:59 that's a good question what are you
20:03 looking for why are you following me do
20:06 you want material gain do you want a
20:09 better job do you want physical healing
20:11 do you want F what do you want why are
20:13 you following
20:17 me why do you want to follow the lord
20:19 Jesus I hope you want to trust him
20:21 because you know you are a sinner
20:24 needing a savior and Jesus said to them
20:27 uh what are you looking for what are you
20:28 seeking and they said where are you
20:30 dwelling that's a good question where
20:32 does God
20:36 dwell back in Exodus he dwelt in a
20:39 Tabernacle in Kings he dwelt in a
20:42 temple when Jesus Christ was born on
20:45 this Earth God Came In the Flesh John
20:48 1:14 the word was made flesh and
20:51 tabernacled Among Us where do you dwell
20:52 Isaiah had a good answer to that
20:56 question over in Isaiah 57:1 15 where
20:59 God says he dwells with that person who
21:02 is of a contrite and a humble
21:05 heart I suppose our Lord had a little
21:07 booth someplace where he was living
21:09 because he really had no place where he
21:11 could lay his head and Jesus said to
21:14 them come and see first there was
21:16 interrogation what are you looking for
21:19 then there was invitation come and
21:23 see John likes this word come in John 1
21:26 it's come and see in John 7 it's come
21:30 and drink in John 21 want it's come and
21:34 dine and Jesus said come and see and so
21:37 they came I think that John uses Roman
21:39 time and it would have been 10:00 in the
21:41 morning and they had all day to
21:44 fellowship with the Lord but Andrew said
21:46 you know this is too good to keep to
21:48 ourselves John you've got a brother
21:51 named James you go get him I've got a
21:53 brother named Simon I'm going to go get
21:54 him let's go get our brothers let's
21:57 start at home and let's share what we
22:00 have and Andrew first found Simon and
22:02 then John found James and they brought
22:03 him to
22:06 Jesus you see he was a converted man
22:08 you've got to be a converted person a
22:10 saved person if you're going to share it
22:12 with somebody
22:15 else I appreciate the fact that he was a
22:18 communing man he communed with the Lord
22:23 it says here that they Abode with him
22:25 for it was about the 10th hour that word
22:27 abide was going to take on deeper
22:32 meaning for Andrew and for John abide if
22:36 you abide in me and my words abide in
22:39 you you shall ask what ye will and it
22:42 shall be done unto you abide in me as
22:45 the branch cannot bear fruit of itself
22:47 except it abide in the vine neither can
22:50 you except you abide in me if you abide
22:53 in me my father will come and dwell with
22:56 you and will make your life our
22:59 home they Abode with him this is the
23:02 kind of a person God uses to win
23:04 somebody else he was a man who was
23:07 converted he was a man who was communing
23:11 in fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ
23:12 after all witnessing is not something
23:14 that we do witnessing something God does through
23:16 through
23:19 us something else I noticed about
23:22 Andrew he was a man of compassion a man
23:25 of concern as he was sharing the
23:27 blessings of the Lord he said you know
23:29 I'm my brother's
23:32 keeper now Cain had asked that question
23:35 in derision am I My Brother's Keeper and
23:37 the answer to that question is yes
23:44 yes God said to Andrew you know you've
23:46 got a brother who needs to be
23:49 saved what are you going to do about it
23:52 and because of the concern of his heart
23:55 he went and found his brother and he
23:56 brought him to
23:59 Jesus you see our problem friends is
24:02 that we enjoy spiritual blessings so
24:05 much we don't think about other people
24:07 I'm grateful for those in the Moody chur
24:08 Church who are
24:12 concerned who have a deep compassionate
24:15 concern to share Jesus Christ with other
24:17 people we're going to have many
24:19 opportunities in these days to come to do
24:20 do
24:23 that we have found the Messiah the Greek
24:26 word is
24:29 Eureka that's what uh our medes said
24:31 wasn't it when he discovered his famous
24:35 law Eureka I have found it but what
24:36 happened in the city of Chicago with
24:38 hundreds of people were going around
24:40 saying Eureka I have found it what have
24:42 you found oh we're going to find that
24:45 out we have found the Lord
24:48 Jesus Andrew the soul
24:51 winner Andrew is never going to go down
24:53 in history is a great
24:55 Theologian he's not going to go down in
24:58 history as a great preacher
25:01 but Andrew has gone down in history as a
25:04 man who was concerned about reaching other
25:05 other
25:08 people which leads us to the third
25:10 person involved in this miracle Jesus
25:14 Christ the Savior and he Andrew the soul
25:20 winner brought him Simon The Sinner to
25:23 Jesus Jesus the Savior now when he
25:26 brought him to Jesus to whom was he
25:28 bringing him he didn't bring bring him
25:31 to John the Baptist he didn't say Simon
25:32 what you need to do is meet John the
25:36 Baptist oh no no he brought him to Jesus
25:38 didn't bring him to the Jordan River uh
25:40 Peter was baptized but that's not why he
25:43 brought him he brought him to Jesus
25:45 didn't bring him to Moses he brought him to
25:46 to
25:49 Jesus to whom did he bring him it's
25:52 beautiful to walk into the Gospel of
25:54 John and you you right away you meet
25:58 Jesus in the beginning was the word and
26:02 the word was with God and the Word was
26:05 God all things were made by him Simon
26:07 here is your
26:11 creator Simon here is the light in him
26:14 was life and the life was the light of
26:16 man and the light shineth in the
26:18 darkness and the Darkness cannot put it
26:22 out Simon I want you to step out of the
26:26 darkness into the light Simon here is
26:29 the one who has Grace what does John say
26:33 for the law was given by Moses but Grace
26:37 and Truth came by Jesus Christ and of
26:40 his fullness have all we received and
26:43 Grace upon Grace Simon I want you to
26:46 step out of the darkness into the light
26:49 I want you to step out of law into Grace
26:51 I want you to step out of that yoke of
26:59 salvation he brought him to the Lamb of
27:02 God oh what a
27:05 Ser John the Baptist said Behold the
27:08 Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of
27:10 the world they've never heard a message
27:14 like that before millions of lambs had
27:19 been slain in Old Testament days but not
27:22 a one of them was the Lamb of God they
27:24 were Lambs brought to God but here is
27:27 the Lamb of God back in the Old
27:29 Testament there there were many lambs
27:33 here is one lamb back in the Old
27:36 Testament the lamb died for Israel but
27:39 here is one who dies for the world in
27:41 the Old Testament the blood of the Lamb
27:43 could never take away sin all it could
27:47 do was cover sin but here is one whose
27:51 death takes away sin no wonder John the
27:54 Baptist was excited Behold the Lamb of
27:58 God that taketh away the sin of the
28:01 World Simon I want you to meet
28:04 Jesus he'll take away your
28:08 sin now that's what you need that's what
28:13 need he said
28:16 Simon I want you to meet the Son of God
28:18 can you imagine
28:22 that the Son of God Simon you and I are
28:26 dead in trespasses and sins but here is
28:29 the Son of God who can give give us life
28:32 and light and
28:35 Liberty and he brought him to Jesus now
28:38 what did Jesus do when Simon came to him
28:41 what will Jesus do when you come to him
28:43 well first of all he's going to receive
28:46 you our Lord didn't hang a sign out and
28:48 say um not
28:51 available later on in this gospel Jesus
28:55 is going to say this all that the father
28:58 giveth me shall come to me
29:01 and him that cometh to me I will in no
29:05 wise cast out he didn't say you're too Wicked
29:07 Wicked
29:09 no he received
29:12 him now when you come to the Lord Jesus
29:14 Christ he'll receive you regardless of
29:16 how you come or who brings you he'll
29:20 receive you then having received Simon
29:23 he looked at him my Bible said he beheld
29:25 him that word means he looked right
29:28 through his eyes and right down into his
29:30 his heart that's what some people don't
29:32 like they want to stay hidden they want
29:35 to masquerade Simon stood there and
29:38 Jesus just looked at him and he saw what he
29:39 he
29:44 was I know you you're Simon he knows who you
29:45 you
29:48 are he knows the house you live in he
29:50 knows what street it's
29:54 on he knows all about you Simon I know
29:58 you I see what you are
30:02 but I also see what you can be thou art
30:07 Simon Thou shalt be a
30:10 rock whenever I read that little verse
30:12 I'm reminded of something that John
30:15 writes over in verse
30:20 12 but as many as received him to them
30:24 gave he the power to become the children
30:29 of God take that little phrase power to
30:33 become authority to become that's what
30:35 happens when you're saved first there's
30:38 a crisis and you're born into God's
30:41 family then there's a process you start
30:44 becoming what he wants you to become I
30:50 know you you're Simon but you shall be a
30:53 rock now rocks are made out of sand and
30:55 clay and it takes a lot of pressure and
31:00 a lot of heat to turned clay into a rock
31:02 and that's what Peter went
31:05 through throughout Matthew Mark and Luke
31:08 and John and act you find the Lord Jesus
31:12 applying the pressure and the Heat and
31:14 he's making a
31:18 rock it wasn't easy but it was
31:21 wonderful Miracle after miracle and
31:24 Peter would be in some tight situation
31:25 and the Lord would come in with his
31:28 Miracle power and he'd rescue him and
31:31 make a little more solid rock out of
31:34 him you know the last time Peter is
31:37 referred to in the Bible is not in second
31:38 second
31:41 Peter the last time he's referred to is
31:43 in the Book of
31:46 Revelation John is looking at that Holy
31:49 City and he said on the
31:53 foundations are the names of the
31:55 Apostles of Jesus
31:58 Christ and in those
32:02 foundations are embedded beautiful
32:06 Stones how about that thou art Simon a
32:09 hunk of clay I'm going to make you into
32:11 Peter a rock and when I'm finished with
32:14 you you're going to be one of my Jewels
32:16 up there in that Heavenly City it takes
32:20 a lot of heat and pressure to make a
32:22 jewel but God did
32:26 it and God can do it for
32:28 you there are people here in this Moody
32:31 church congregation today who years
32:35 ago were the dirtiest possible
32:37 clay and they came to
32:41 Jesus and he began to work on them first
32:44 he saved them took them up out of the
32:47 mey clay and then he began to work on
32:51 them and he's turning them into Jewels
32:54 his jewels oh there's been pressure and
32:57 there's been heat and there's been difficulty
32:58 difficulty
33:01 but there's been polishing and pressing
33:04 and molding by the gracious hands of God
33:07 there's been Miracle after Miracle after
33:10 miracle and today they are the jewels of
33:14 God only Jesus can do
33:16 that I know who you
33:20 are but I know what you can
33:24 be a drunken Barber wandered into the
33:30 and a miracle took place in his life and
33:34 Mel trod went up and down this country
33:42 Christ a successful ball player gave his
33:45 heart to Jesus Christ and Billy Sunday
33:47 went up and down the country winning
33:50 thousands of people to Jesus Christ and
33:54 God can take you and God can take me a
33:59 hunk of clay and mold us into a rock
34:02 something he can build upon and by the
34:04 time we get to Glory that rock is going
34:05 to be a
34:09 jewel shining forth for
34:13 him and he brought him to
34:16 Jesus that's the greatest privilege and
34:18 the greatest miracle that anybody could
34:26 miracle have you come to
34:29 Jesus we we sing in one of our songs
34:33 come to the savior make no delay here in
34:36 his word he shown us the way here in our
34:39 midst he's standing today tenderly saying
34:41 saying
34:44 come if you have come to Jesus are you
34:52 others that's what Chicago
34:54 needs people who will wake up in the
34:56 morning and say father make this a
34:58 miracle day
35:01 give me the privilege of helping
35:04 someone to come to
35:08 Jesus and he brought him to
35:11 Jesus would you come to the Savior today
35:14 and let him save you and would you make
35:17 yourself available to the Savior
35:21 today that he might use you in a miracle
35:25 ministry of touching the lives of
35:28 others we're thankful our
35:32 father that as weak as we are as
35:35 ignorant as we are you can still use us
35:38 we want to be stronger and we want to be
35:40 smarter we want to be better
35:43 Witnesses and we make ourselves
35:45 available now oh
35:47 Lord that we might share in this
35:49 wonderful privilege of bringing people to
35:50 to
35:53 Jesus I pray now father for any here
35:56 without the Savior those who need to
35:58 come give their Hearts to Christ help
35:59 them to
36:02 come I pray for any of your people
36:07 father who have gotten cold critical
36:09 Hearts who have been
36:11 been
36:13 careless about this matter of trying to win
36:14 win
36:18 others oh Lord we have found the Lord
36:21 Jesus and he has found us and all around
36:24 us are people who need to be found
36:27 please help us to touch their lives Lord
36:30 make our lives a miracle may we day
36:34 after day experience the miracle power
36:38 of the holy spirit in our lives for Jesus
