0:01 Welcome back. Today we're going to be
0:03 testing some mops. We've been super
0:06 loyal to the Vita or the Oedar Spin Mop
0:08 for like years and years. I love that
0:09 mop, but there's been a bunch of new
0:11 ones that have been popping up on the
0:12 scene and we want to test them out
0:13 because a lot of you have been asking me
0:16 about them and it's a free market. Let's
0:18 see which ones are the best. [Music]

0:24 I'm going to show you all the mops
0:26 first. So, this is the Vita/Oar Spin
0:28 Mop. It's called Vita in Canada and the
0:31 UK. and then O Cedar in the US. They
0:33 just they're the same company. They just
0:34 have different names in different
0:36 countries. This is the original spin
0:39 mop. It has like a spin mechanism here,
0:40 foot pedal. It has a little This is new,
0:42 this little um holder so that your mop
0:44 doesn't flop over. And then it's a
0:48 microfiber um mop head that you can
0:51 replace. So, this is one of my favorite
0:54 cleaning accessories, but they've come
0:56 out with a new version. And people ask
0:58 me about this all the time. I have used
1:02 it before. Um, and I'll reserve my
1:03 thoughts on it for when we're reviewing
1:06 them. So, this is the mop head. It's
1:08 definitely smaller than the other one.
1:09 It has a clean water and a dirty tank. A
1:12 clean water tank and a dirty water tank.
1:14 Um, so you're not mopping your floors
1:16 with dirty water. So, I'm going to show
1:18 you how that works. This is the fun
1:20 clean mop. This is This mop is I've
1:22 never used this ever before, but it's
1:23 kind of blowing my mind because it's got like
1:25 like
1:28 it's got a really tall handle, so it' be
1:30 good for tall people. And then like it's
1:32 going to telescope, but it also comes
1:33 with this cute little detergent
1:37 dispenser. But look at this. One, two,
1:42 three, four, five,
1:45 six mop heads. So, this was more
1:48 expensive. I think like this isn't a
1:49 more expensive mop, but you don't have
1:50 to replace. Look at all these mop pads
1:51 they come with. So, right there, that's
1:53 the value cuz like a single mop head is
1:56 10 bucks and it comes with wheels. I
1:59 don't know what this thing is. Oh,

2:03 okay. We'll show this after. Uh, this is
2:05 where you can like it has a little like
2:08 I can spin it in here, too.
2:09 Okay, we'll show that once we've got
2:12 water. Whoops. This is the True and Tidy
2:15 mop and we I've never used this before.
2:17 It's going to be interesting. We've got
2:19 a dual water chamber in here. It's a
2:20 little bit more compact than the other
2:23 mops if you don't have a lot of space to
2:26 um store stuff. Came with a spare mop
2:28 head. This mop is called the Joy Move.
2:30 It is a Viral Sensation on Clean Talk.
2:31 I've been wanting to try it forever. I
2:33 just haven't cuz I've been too attached
2:35 to my spin mop. So, I want to test this
2:37 one out. It does come with two um spare
2:39 mop heads. It's a flat mop, which I
2:41 usually like these for walls. I don't
2:42 necessarily always like them for floors.
2:43 So, we'll see how it goes. has a really
2:46 interesting bucket system here. It has
2:48 like a dry and a wash compartment that
2:49 you kind of slide it in. I'll show you
2:51 guys when you can see the angle in. It
2:54 is the number one seller in Canada and
2:56 the US. So, we need to test this out.
2:58 So, now we're going to fill them all up.
3:01 We got these floors dirty. We look like
3:02 look at my socks. I've been walking here
3:05 for 5 minutes. Salami lives here and he
3:08 is an English bulldog. So, he's drooled
3:09 all over the place. We splashing stuff
3:10 around. It's just dirty, dirty floors.
3:11 So, we're going to test all of these
3:13 bops and show you which ones we like the best.

3:45 So, this is the clean water tank. And if
3:47 you want to let clean water in, you just
3:49 pull this little thing up. I filled the
3:54 water in there. Right now, always pump. Oh,
4:12 So, here's the difference in sizes of
4:14 the mops. This triangle part is bigger
4:15 on this one than this one. So, you might
4:18 not have as much contact contact with
4:20 the floor, but they are relatively okay
4:22 in size. They just This just feels a lot

4:49 The water is in here, the clean water,
4:52 and it's got this little bristle thing. [Music]

5:12 This one is a washing machine, people.
5:13 Because I don't have a foot pedal, this
5:15 is how I spin. Oh my god, my mom would
5:18 love this so much.
5:19 That's just the difference in size
5:22 between these two mop heads. Nice to

5:40 is the joy m. So, we're dunking it. And
5:43 then we go over here
5:46 to squeegee
5:50 out the water. [Music]
6:08 So, now here we have this is the new
6:11 Vita flat mop. And honestly, I we've
6:12 been using this for a little while at
6:14 houses already, but I wanted to show add
6:17 this in cuz it just came out. Um, it has
6:19 a separate container for water. So, we
6:21 have hot water and some Tide in here.
6:22 And it's actually really, really cool
6:26 because, watch this. It has like these
6:27 little spray streams when you push it
6:29 in. So, it's getting them on wet. And
6:33 then it has a separate little area for
6:34 us to rinse it out and also for dirty water.

6:50 are my medium conclusive results for
6:51 this mop testing. This was a lot harder
6:53 to do you guys than vacuum testing cuz I
6:54 can see immediate results with it. And
6:56 it also depends on your floors. But I'm
6:58 just going to tell you like this is my
7:00 opinion. Take it with a grain of salt.
7:01 If you want to fight with me in the

7:06 for the flat mops, I preferred the Vita
7:08 one after we used it for a period of
7:11 time. Do I Do I hate this Joy Moop one?
7:14 No, I do not. It's just This one doesn't
7:16 lock in place when we're using it on
7:17 walls and floors. This one doesn't lock
7:18 in place either, but it kind of has like
7:20 more of a sticky mechanism, so it
7:22 doesn't swing all over the place. This
7:23 one has a clean it water tank and a
7:25 dirty water tank, and it's really
7:26 straightforward to use. This one you're
7:28 kind of like dipping it in the same
7:31 water. Am I correct on that? Yes. Okay.
7:33 They're both really good. This one goes
7:34 on sale all the time. This one doesn't
7:36 really. So, if you were moving or you
7:38 had bolted ceilings, both of these are
7:40 good. If you want me to pick my number
7:44 one, I would choose the VIA. Okay, for
7:45 these flat mops, I really don't like
7:47 flat mops for floors. I find that they
7:49 streak and I would rather use like a
7:50 regular mop. But for quick clean up, if
7:52 you kept this in like your pantry or
7:55 whatever, be great. Now,
7:56 these ones. So, I'm just going to
7:58 eliminate process of elimination here to
8:00 keep it short and sweet. I did not like
8:02 this one. It seemed really gimmicky. It
8:05 has really good reviews on Amazon, but
8:07 it just it's not a great mop, you guys.
8:09 It's It's got like a lot of little
8:10 gadgets and stuff. It comes with a bunch
8:11 of different mop heads. In the end, it
8:13 just feels cheap and junky. It's not
8:15 that great. Less loss of streaks. This
8:18 one I just didn't we us all as a crew
8:20 didn't really like this generally.
8:22 Really good for walls, not super great
8:24 for floors, you guys. And like you're
8:26 buying a mop mainly for floors. If
8:28 you're going to use a mop on your walls,
8:30 like it's a few times a year. So, but I
8:31 can understand again buying one of these
8:34 flat mops just to get four walls,
8:35 especially if you live in a big house
8:37 where you can't reach hard to reach up
8:41 spots. Um, and then now this Vita/Oar
8:43 one with the clean and dirty water tank.
8:46 This is a good mop, you guys. And but
8:47 the general consensus from me and my
8:50 staff and your DMs is that it is a huge
8:51 pain in the ass to change the water all
8:52 the time. If you are a clean freak and
8:54 you want your clean water separated from
8:55 your dirty water when you're cleaning
8:57 your floors, by all means, buy this one.
8:59 Just be prepared to change the water
9:01 like three times for just a small main
9:03 four like this one because you have to
9:04 do it all the time because you run out
9:06 of water. Now my original one which I
9:08 have been standing by for like years and
9:10 years and they are not paying me for
9:12 this is by Lita/Oar
9:14 the original spin mop. I just like this
9:17 bucket. I like the mop. I like the mop
9:19 head. It gets the floors really really
9:21 clean. And even though I tested all of
9:22 these ones, I'm still going to come back
9:24 to my original one that I liked in the
9:25 first place. So, if you have one of
9:28 these mops and you feel like you want to
9:29 leave an opinion in the comments, feel
9:31 free to leave it for me because I would
9:33 like to. Like, we've been what we did,
9:36 you guys, is we started filming these
9:37 like a couple of months ago and then we
9:39 decided that we couldn't just do a test
9:40 in one day with it. We took it to
9:42 people's houses and tested them all
9:44 everywhere else. And this is my results
9:46 that aren't super conclusive, but these
9:48 are the results that I found. But maybe
9:50 if you have one of these mops and you f
9:51 really find it works really really good
