0:10 If you're running Windows 11 right now,
0:12 Microsoft is collecting data about
0:14 everything you do on your computer. And
0:15 I'm not talking about the obvious
0:18 telemetry settings everyone knows about.
0:20 There's a hidden tracking feature buried
0:22 deep in your system that's recording
0:24 your clipboard history, syncing it to
0:26 the cloud, and keeping a detailed log of
0:29 everything you copy and paste. Your
0:31 passwords, your bank details, your
0:33 private messages, all potentially
0:35 exposed. I'm going to show you exactly
0:38 where this is, why it's dangerous, and
0:40 how to disable it in the next 60
0:42 seconds. Before we proceed, here is a
0:45 quick disclaimer. This video is for
0:47 educational purposes to help you protect
0:49 your digital privacy. I'm showing you
0:52 settings that exist in Windows 11. What
0:53 you choose to do with this information
0:56 is entirely up to you. That said, let's
0:58 dive in.
1:00 Here's what most people don't realize.
1:02 Windows 11 has a feature called
1:04 clipboard history that's enabled by
1:07 default. Every time you hit control + C,
1:09 Windows isn't just copying that text
1:11 temporarily. It's storing it in a
1:13 searchable database on your computer.
1:15 and syncing it across all your devices
1:18 through your Microsoft account.
1:20 Press Windows key plus V right now and
1:22 you'll see everything you've copied recently.
1:27 Seems convenient, right? But here's the
1:30 problem. This data is being synced to
1:32 Microsoft's cloud servers. That means
1:34 your clipboard history, which could
1:36 contain passwords, credit card numbers,
1:38 private conversations, or sensitive work
1:41 documents, is leaving your computer. And
1:44 even worse, if someone gains access to
1:45 your Microsoft account, they can see
1:47 your entire clipboard history from any
1:50 device. This is a massive privacy risk
1:53 that most users have no idea exists.
1:55 Here's exactly how to disable this right
1:58 now. Follow along with me.
2:02 Step one, disable clipboard history.
2:28 Step two, clear existing clipboard data.
2:30 In the same window, click clear next to
2:36 This deletes everything Windows has
2:38 already stored.
2:40 Step three, verify cloud sync is disabled.
2:42 disabled.
3:02 Make sure other Windows settings is unchecked.
3:08 This prevents clipboard data from being
3:10 backed up to one drive. Done. Your
3:13 clipboard is now private again.
3:14 Everything you copy stays only in
3:16 temporary memory and gets wiped when you
3:18 copy something new. Exactly how it
3:20 should work. These three changes alone
3:22 will dramatically reduce how much data
3:24 Microsoft collects about your daily
3:27 computer usage. If this video helped you
3:29 take back control of your privacy, smash
3:31 that like button and subscribe for more

3:35 privacy tutorial every week showing you
3:37 exactly which settings to change and
3:39 why. Drop a comment below telling me

3:45 single comment and your suggestions
