0:01 I have plenty of travel containers to
0:03 share with you in this video but I will
0:06 kick things off with zero element of
0:09 suspense by sharing one of my favorite
0:11 types of travel containers travel
0:14 pouches more specifically I love using
0:16 travel pouches for very liquidy liquids
0:18 or those that have a low viscosity if
0:20 you would like to be more technical such
0:23 as oils or even cleansers like your face
0:26 wash body wash or even shampoo these
0:28 pouches are made of a lightweight
0:30 plastic material with a easy to fill
0:33 screw off cap and despite being quite
0:36 inexpensive on Amazon they have yet to
0:39 leak they are all under the 100 Mil or
0:42 3.4 o TSA carry-on liquid limit and they
0:44 come in a variety of sizes I'll link to
0:46 the set that I have as well as all
0:49 products mentioned in the video down in
0:50 the description the pouch is also
0:53 flexible which makes it not only super
0:55 satisfying to play with but it also
0:57 means that the container shape is going
0:59 to adapt to the volume of the contents
1:01 and and this makes it easier to pack
1:03 them in small spaces and then even
1:06 easier to bring home once they are empty
1:08 after a trip I don't like using pouches
1:11 for any thick creams since it's number
1:14 one difficult to get a thick cream into
1:17 this tiny whole opening but then also
1:19 it's difficult to get all of that cream
1:21 out but that's okay because one of my
1:23 other favorite travel liquid containers
1:25 is going to be perfect for any thicker
1:27 cream that you need a decent amount of
1:29 during your trip that's going to be
1:32 travel tubes these are extremely
1:34 convenient because they have very wide
1:36 openings to them that make them easy to
1:39 fill and then also easy to clean and get
1:42 any of the last bits out of after your
1:44 trip as you can see with this one I just
1:47 pulled the lid right off that is because
1:50 this is a cheap version from Walmart
1:51 that I am not using or traveling with
1:53 and I honestly do not know what it is
1:56 filled with at the moment I truly
1:58 recommend that you go with a well-known
2:00 brand not any of the knockoffs that you
2:03 see at your dollar store on Amazon or at
2:06 Walmart honestly there are only two
2:08 brands that I trust and I would go with
2:10 number one is going to be the original
2:13 go tubes by human gear these I have so
2:15 many of they come in many different
2:17 sizes and you can also buy them in sets
2:20 another one that I like that you can get
2:23 in a set is going to be the liquis snugs
2:26 these also have fun little suctions on
2:28 the back of them that make them
2:30 extremely convenient in the sh if you do
2:32 decide to put things like your shampoo
2:34 conditioner or body wash inside of them
2:36 both go tubes and liquid snugs are made
2:39 of flexible silicone and it's apparently
2:41 safe for food and even intense products
2:44 like nail polish remover that could eat
2:46 away at cheaper Plastics over time they
2:48 have a wide opening making them easy to
2:51 fill easy to open up and easy to get
2:54 every bit of cream out of and also into
2:56 they are also easy to clean out
2:58 something else that I love about the go
3:00 tubes even over the liquis knut mugs is
3:03 that they have this extra leak proof
3:06 seal around the base and I have used
3:08 these for years I can guarantee you they
3:10 are not going to leak I can also
3:11 guarantee you this is not sponsored but
3:13 it probably should be at this point I
3:15 like to use tubes for creams but they
3:17 are so versatile that you could put
3:19 liquidy liquids like those oils in here
3:22 as well if you were going to buy just
3:24 one travel container type a good quality
3:27 set of tubes would be my pick since they
3:29 are so versatile but since I obviously
3:31 have a guilty pleasure with buying
3:33 liquid containers for travel I still
3:36 love my pouches for those liquidy
3:38 liquids even though technically they
3:40 would probably be fine inside of one of
3:42 these tubes some minor cons to using
3:44 tubes for travel is that they are a
3:46 little awkward to pack and they're not
3:49 going to flatten out when empty plus
3:51 often I find that even the smallest
3:53 tubes you can buy tend to be a little
3:55 bit too big for things that you do not
3:58 need too much of such as face cream or
4:01 eye cream on a one we trip this is where
4:04 the next travel container pots come into
4:07 play I love using pots for thicker
4:11 creams such as Vaseline or even a makeup
4:13 removing balm since I'm not worried
4:15 about these leaking and I truly will
4:17 only need a small amount of them on my
4:19 trip not even the amount that's going to
4:21 fill something like a go- tube small
4:24 pots are easy to Pack and Stack and they
4:26 also take up very little space they have
4:29 a wide opening making it easy to fill
4:31 them easy to get everything out of them
4:33 and then also easy to clean them after
4:36 your trip my issue with pots is that I
4:38 haven't been able to find a quality set
4:41 that is 100% leak proof and in a small
4:43 size for things like powders as well as
4:46 thick creams the fact that it may not be
4:48 100% leak proof has not been a problem
4:50 for me the next travel container that I
4:53 love and take with me on every single
4:56 trip is this small perfume atomizer I
4:58 bought a set of three of these for under
5:01 $10 on Amazon I did a full video
5:04 explaining exactly how these work but
5:05 essentially they have a little hole in
5:08 the bottom that you can stick to the top
5:09 of your perfume and then you can get
5:12 perfume into them for travel these are
5:14 extremely Niche and if you do not wear
5:16 perfume or you do not wear cologne you
5:19 probably do not need to buy one of these
5:21 I personally do wear perfume and I love
5:24 it and if a perfume atomizer was not too
5:27 Niche for you then you may also enjoy
5:30 the Matador flat pack which is
5:32 essentially a fancy container to carry
5:35 around your bar of soap while you travel
5:38 The Matador flat pack is essentially a
5:40 dry pack for carrying your soap bar
5:43 around the material helps your soap bar
5:45 dry while it's packed away while also
5:48 being waterproof so there is no mess in
5:50 your bag it definitely serves its
5:52 purpose but I was honestly fine just
5:55 storing my soap in a plastic bag when
5:57 traveling from place to place for the
5:59 majority of my travels and then if if
6:01 you are staying in a hotel you are
6:03 likely going to be provided with soap so
6:05 is it worth the
6:08 $20 maybe if you travel a lot or you're
6:11 a camper or you have some fancy
6:14 highquality soap bars or face wash bars
6:16 that you want to keep in tiptop
6:17 condition but I definitely bought the
6:21 pouches tubes pots and even that perfume
6:24 atomizer before I bought this one you
6:27 can also of course buy travel siiz
6:28 products the thing that I find with
6:30 those is that they're often too big even
6:33 for a 1 we or a 10day trip this for
6:35 example is 60 ml so it is under the
6:39 100ml TSA carryon limit however this
6:41 container is huge and you do not need
6:44 this much face cream on your trip so
6:46 even when I buy those travel siiz
6:48 products I find they're too big and then
6:50 I end up putting them into these smaller
6:53 containers anyway or into these pouches
6:57 or into my small little tubes there is
6:59 however one major benefit to using
7:01 travel siiz products that are
7:03 specifically meant for you to take in
7:05 your carry-on this is that the capacity
7:07 is usually labeled on them and it is
7:10 very clear so there is no question as to
7:12 whether or not it's going to fit within
7:15 the TSA limits so even if you are buying
7:17 reusable travel containers and not those
7:19 travel siiz products do check the
7:21 containers that you buy and see if it
7:25 has the capacity labeled on it so the go
7:29 tubes do as well as the liquid snugs
7:32 it's a little bit difficult to see but
7:33 it makes it very clear that both of
7:35 these are going to be within the TSA
7:37 guidelines because sometimes it's just
7:39 up to the TSA agent that you are
7:41 speaking with as to whether or not they
7:44 believe that this is going to be within
7:46 the size limit something else that I
7:48 purchased even before the flat pack that
7:50 I genuinely thought was going to be a
7:53 travel essential is one of these TSA
7:56 approved reusable liquid bags they are
7:58 inexpensive they're going to help you
8:00 stay within your carry-on liquids limit
8:02 and they meet the requirements of a
8:06 single clear quart size or smaller bag
8:09 with a zip top my first disappointing
8:11 moment was at the Charles deal airport
8:13 the Paris airport does not cease to
8:16 disappoint me anyway the airport
8:18 security agent did not believe that this
8:20 was going to be within my carry-on
8:22 liquid limit and the bag was taken away
8:24 from me at which point she gave me a
8:26 clear plastic bag I could pack all my
8:28 liquids into it and I did not have to
8:31 get rid of anything using a bag like
8:32 this has never been a problem while I am
8:36 traveling within Canada or within the US
8:38 however it does seem to be an issue
8:40 across Europe and it is going to depend
8:42 on the particular agent that you get as
8:44 to whether or not you are going to be
8:46 able to fly with a bag like this I try
8:50 to stock up on these TSA approved bags
8:52 anytime I see them being given out at
8:56 the airport but honestly any sort of one
8:59 qu size plastic bag with a zip top or
9:01 smaller should be just fine I'll leave
9:03 links to all of the products that I
9:04 mentioned in this video down in the
9:06 description and you'll also want to
9:08 subscribe for more travel tips and hacks
9:11 including a review that I have coming up
9:14 on the best-selling Budget Travel set on
9:16 Amazon having something like this could
9:19 be a great alternative to having to
9:22 piece together your own set but it could
9:24 also just leave you with a variety of
9:27 subpar containers that you never use see
9:29 you in that next video and until until
