0:19 how i ended up using it but first of all
0:21 i'm going to show you a quick overview
0:23 of how i put the desk together it's not
0:25 a guide it's just letting you know what
0:27 to keep an eye out for so with the
0:29 actual setup itself i've got all the
0:31 parts in the box nicely labeled
0:33 everything had good instructions on i
0:36 would say you can look at about 45 to 30
0:37 minutes to put it together to give you a
0:39 little baby screwdriver in there with it
0:41 but you you can put it together easily
0:44 quite simply by using the instructions
0:46 everything seems to be straightforward
0:48 just keep an eye on the top once you put
0:50 the top on it goes on one way if you put
0:52 it on the wrong way there's a slight lip
0:53 that doesn't really fit on so a little
0:56 bit about this desk it's a computer desk
0:58 and it's designed for writing it's got
1:00 two shelves on the left or right when
1:02 you're making it you can adjust that
1:04 it's got a nice firm base and it's got
1:07 enough support there to be solid in its
1:10 settings it's made to an industrial feel
1:11 and it's a nice wide setup so you can
1:13 actually use it for a number of
1:15 different situations your measurements
1:18 on this i normally give the measurements
1:21 as numbers but i'm hoping that with this
1:22 video you can actually see it in its
1:25 footprint and how it looks it's
1:29 centimeters by 60 by 75 centimeters so
1:30 that gives you a good
1:33 overall feel of it and the top is
1:35 particle board it with a nice cover so
1:38 it's not solid wood however at this
1:40 price range it is a budget option that
1:42 works very well the measurements of the
1:45 shaft units it's 59 centimeters
1:48 by 23 centimeters roughly you can't
1:49 really get a computer base unit in the
1:51 side shelf the desk is very strong so
1:54 you can easily get 20 kg plus on this a
1:56 couple of good gaming monitors a good
1:59 base unit the way the desk is made it
2:01 actually is suitable for a clamp to go
2:02 on the back so if you have monitors
2:04 where you can clamp them to the back if
2:06 you have a big enough clamp you should
2:07 be able to get on this nice and easily a
2:09 good thing about this desk is actually
2:11 flush so all the way around there's no
2:13 overhang so it can go up right against
2:15 the wall the top is a dark wooden brown
2:17 with swirls of lighter brown and dark
2:19 black okay so let me show you the first
2:21 setup i've basically got the desk as a
2:24 main working from home type of desk you
2:26 can see it's nice and wide so i'm going
2:28 to come in as a normal office day type
2:29 situation i've got my bag with me i've
2:32 got my laptop see how we go here and see
2:34 how easy it is so i actually use this
2:37 laptop um regularly so i know how it
2:39 feels on different desk sizes and if it
2:41 feels comfortable so i'm gonna put my
2:44 little ssd on the back there nvme ssd
2:46 that i made myself that's very very
2:47 lightning fast
2:49 and we've got our little standard things
2:51 always have a lot of fluid with you so
2:52 i've got my fluid bottle there a little
2:55 notepad and we've got a nice slot in the
2:58 side of this for storing our bag which
2:59 is going to be great got my little mouse
3:01 there which i normally plug in to give
3:03 us that extra bit of functionality for
3:05 that odd game here and there and yep so
3:08 we've got a little bag there billingham
3:09 hadley prom and i stopped that in the
3:11 side which is a nice place to store the
3:13 bag actually and the shame about this is
3:15 i can't fit if i had a tower unit you
3:17 can't fit a tower down there because the
3:19 shelves are split into so overall the
3:21 desk has got a nice deep
3:23 center it's got enough space that you
3:25 actually comfortably get the laptop in
3:27 the middle with probably two monitors
3:30 either side and a lap a keyboard and a
3:32 mouse so it's nice and like it
3:34 this desk has to be one of the favorites
3:36 it's a a big seller on amazon so i
3:38 wanted to see how it works i've used it
3:40 in a number of scenarios i've taken the
3:41 table apart put it back together and
3:43 moved in three different spots so i know
3:45 the table inside right now more or less
3:46 so here we've given you a little example
3:48 of this setup
3:50 let's move away from this and see what
3:52 else can we do on this desk now so i
3:54 want to be able to see if the desk can
3:56 work in multiple ways so if you got a
3:57 laptop and you're lightweight that's
3:59 fine if you're doing some drawing or
4:01 you're doing some crafting it's still a
4:03 great table very solid you can't really
4:04 move it much so if you're doing writing
4:06 or painting or crafting and you don't
4:08 want a table that's wobbly this is the
4:10 table for you it has got the feet where
4:12 you can actually position them so screw
4:14 them out so it actually levels it off
4:16 and it stops it moving if you have got a
4:19 dodgy one or a floor's uneven even
4:21 the floor's uneven even you get it oh
4:24 yeah so yeah this is the first setup and
4:26 i'm gonna move over to a couple of other
4:28 setups i'm sharing this with you again
4:30 in the chapters i have linked to
4:31 everything so make sure to check that
4:32 out if you want to just jump to the
4:34 right bit so next set up here i've got
4:36 an additional monitor i'm going to get a
4:39 laptop dock and see how that works for
4:41 us so the dock is for a thinkpad and you
4:43 can actually dock it down so the computer
4:44 computer
4:47 is then usable with the monitor so this
4:48 is a bit more realistic because
4:50 obviously i'm using a bit more of the
4:53 desk here and again the
4:54 well cable management would be a good
4:56 thing here because obviously you can put
4:58 it in the place where you want it so
4:59 with the
5:01 base you can see there's nice and even
5:03 the desk i like this wooden effect it
5:05 feels very natural and good if you have
5:07 a large mouse mount it'll work very
5:09 nicely under like a table mat
5:11 and but this is not the ideal setup for
5:12 this desk these are the two setups i
5:14 used i've taken everything off the desk
5:17 let's actually go into the main event of
5:19 the day so i've taken it to my
5:20 additional room the small room not
5:22 everybody's gonna have really big rooms
5:24 so you can see it fits nicely in the
5:27 corner with that tall filing cabinet i'm
5:28 going to put all my bits and bobs
5:31 together i've got my wide gaming monitor
5:34 um with additional fan to keep us cool
5:36 keyboard mice and my gaming pc which is
5:38 custom built bit of a beauty check out
5:40 the video about that and of course

5:48 wanted checking it out in multiple ways
