0:02 Today I'm going to show you over 100
0:05 tips and tricks for all the mods 10. And
0:07 if you find just a single tip helpful,
0:09 make sure to hit that like and subscribe
0:11 button and let's jump right in. Tip
0:13 number one, you can set journey map to
0:15 automatically map the caves beneath you
0:17 in the settings. If you hit J, you can
0:18 open up Journey Map, then click the
0:20 settings button on the bottom. Under the
0:23 cgraphy tab, you can find the always map
0:25 caves button and make sure you check
0:27 that box. Note that this might cause a
0:29 little bit of performance issues, so
0:30 make sure you uncheck it if it's just
0:32 too much for your PC. Tip number two, as
0:35 a pro tip, you can also turn off use
0:36 cave lighting. This basically makes it
0:38 whenever caves are mapped, they're full
0:40 bright. They're not dark like they would
0:42 normally be, and that makes it much
0:43 easier to see what's in them. Note that
0:45 this only works for newly mapped caves.
0:47 So, this is a great tip when you're
0:48 first starting out. Tip number three, by
0:50 holding the tilda button, you can
0:52 activate Ultramine, which allows you to
0:55 harvest up to 64 blocks at once. This is
0:57 great for chopping down entire trees at
0:59 once or mining an entire ore node. You
1:01 can also hold shift and the tilt button
1:03 at the same time. Then scroll your mouse
1:04 wheel to change the type of ultramine
1:06 you want to use. There are several great
1:08 modes, but personally, mining tunnel is
1:10 my favorite in the early game. It just
1:12 makes a staircase going down, which is
1:14 great for your first mining adventure.
1:16 Tip number four, whenever you've decided
1:18 a place that you want to call your home,
1:20 you can do slash setome. And whenever
1:22 you want to teleport back to that one
1:23 single spot, all you have to do is type
1:26 in /home. Tip number five, whenever you
1:28 do slashhome, you can teleport back to
1:31 where you were at with slashback. This
1:33 also works for if you die and you need
1:34 to get right back to your stuff. Tip
1:36 number six, when you die, you get a key
1:39 to unlock your grave. If slashback is on
1:41 cooldown or it just isn't working, maybe
1:43 your server has disabled it or
1:45 something, you can combine the key that
1:47 you get with an ender pearl. Then use
1:51 the key to teleport right to your grave.
1:52 Tip number seven. Once you have your
1:55 first crafting table, put it on a stick.
1:57 The crafting table on a stick is a great
1:59 item to craft on the go. Make sure to
2:01 place it in the crafting stick slot in
2:03 your curios. Then you can set a keybind
2:06 for it by searching for open crafting on
2:07 a stick in the keybind list. This makes
2:09 it where you can just craft anywhere you
2:11 want with a keybind. Tip number eight.
2:13 Whenever you get your hands on enough
2:15 copper, make a copper ore hammer to
2:17 double your raw ores. This hammer will
2:20 smash a raw ore into two dust, which can
2:22 be smelted into ingots. The copper one
2:24 really doesn't last that long, so the
2:26 pro tip here is actually to use the
2:28 platinum once you have some to make
2:30 yourself a platinum orhammer. Tip number
2:31 nine, to make building much easier,
2:32 especially in the early game, you can
2:34 make a construction stick. These work
2:36 just like construction was if you ever
2:37 use those. When you hold it in your hand
2:39 and look at a block, it will place a
2:41 bunch of blocks down all at once for
2:43 you. So, when you right click on a face,
2:45 it will basically extend those blocks in
2:47 whatever direction that you're pointing
2:48 as long as you have the blocks in your
2:51 inventory. Tip number 10. If you hold a
2:52 block in your off hand when you're using
2:54 the construction stick, it will use that
2:56 block instead whenever you're extending
2:59 a block on a face. This is absolutely
3:01 fantastic for placing a bunch of ores
3:03 down all at once. Tip number 11. While
3:04 there are different tiers of
3:06 construction sticks, you can also
3:08 upgrade them using the battery upgrade
3:10 or the unbreakable upgrade. The battery
3:12 upgrade will make it where you'll use
3:14 power instead of durability, whereas the
3:16 unbreakable upgrade makes it where it
3:18 never breaks. These are both added using
3:21 a smithing table. Tip number 12. Do you
3:22 not like building your first starter
3:24 base and you're like me and you kind of
3:26 suck at it? You can use a supply camp or
3:29 a supply ship from the mine colonies mod
3:30 to make your own starter base. There are
3:32 plenty to choose from, and some of them
3:34 even come with hidden treasures, like
3:36 blocks of gold or diamond. You can craft
3:38 one of these, but you can only use it
3:40 once. If you don't really like the one
3:41 that you picked, but you've already
3:42 placed it down, you won't be able to
3:44 craft another one, so you'll have to
3:46 find a free one inside of loot chests,
3:48 like in villages. Tip number 13. When
3:50 you're in a village, you can sneak right
3:52 click to pick up a villager. All the
3:54 mods 10 has the easy villagers mod,
3:56 which makes building a trading hall much
3:58 easier. Go ahead and make yourself a
4:01 trader block. Then put down the villager
4:02 in the trader block with their
4:04 workstation for an easy oneb block
4:06 trader solution. Tip number 14. If you
4:08 have at least one villager, you can make
4:11 an iron farm to make infinite iron over
4:13 time. Craft and then place down the iron
4:14 farm, then place in the villager to
4:17 activate it. It's kind of slow, but it
4:19 will passively generate around one iron
4:21 ingot per minute. That's why you just
4:22 make a bunch of them. Tip number 15.
4:24 Maybe the sound of an iron golem dying
4:26 in your base is getting annoying. You
4:29 can mute any sound by clicking this
4:31 button in your inventory and clicking
4:33 the muffle button on the side. By
4:34 default, the list will show the most
4:36 recent sounds that you've heard. You can
4:38 also search up any sound that you really
4:40 just don't want to hear anymore. A
4:42 >> tip number 16. Almost every single
4:44 village you visit will have a way. These
4:46 are basically teleporting stones that
4:48 allow you to teleport to any other way
4:50 that you've activated. You can break
4:52 these with a pickaxe and use them for
4:57 or teleporting between the different
4:59 dimensions. Tip number 17. When you are
5:01 looting a village, keep an eye out for
5:04 the infinite ham relic. It almost looks
5:06 like a piece of chalk with like a little
5:07 magnifying glass at the bottom right of
5:09 it. It's really easy to miss, and trust
5:10 me, I know this because I've missed
5:13 plenty. This relic is basically infinite
5:15 food in a single item. To activate it,
5:17 you need to hover over it and hold shift
5:20 to open up the research menu. Then you
5:21 want to click on the abilities at the
5:23 bottom. You click on the first ability,
5:25 then connect the stars on the left side
5:28 to unlock it. Tip number 18. Don't feel
5:30 like figure out which stars actually
5:33 connect. Me neither. Click the light
5:34 bulb at the bottom of the relic menu to
5:36 spend some of your experience to solve
5:38 it for you. And if you need a bunch of
5:40 experience, just turn in your quests.
5:41 There's a quest for everything. Tip
5:43 number 19. Villages have modded
5:45 buildings in them as well. The trick
5:46 here is that you want to keep an eye out
5:48 for the buildings that have compressed
5:50 bricks either as the flooring or as part
5:52 of the roof. These are pneumatic
5:54 buildings which can have advanced
5:56 pressure pipes in the chest inside it.
5:58 These are needed to make the all the mod
6:00 star. Tip number 20. When you are in
6:02 your inventory screen, you can hit T up
6:04 the trash slot. With this active, you
6:06 can drag items into the slot to delete
6:08 them. You can also press the delete key
6:10 to delete the item stack that you're
6:13 hovering over. or if you hold shift and
6:15 delete at the same time, it'll delete
6:17 all stacks of that single item type.
6:18 This is great when you're mining and
6:19 your inventory fills with a ton of
6:21 cobblestone and you don't really need
6:23 it. Tip number 21. With your crafting
6:26 table open, you can press the keybind K
6:28 to compress a stack of an item into its
6:30 block form. This works great for
6:32 converting things like copper ingots
6:34 into blocks to use for orammers. If you
6:36 hold shift and press K at the same time,
6:38 it will compress all of the stacks of an
6:40 item into a block as well. Tip number
6:42 22. One of the first things you should
6:45 make when you get redstone is a pocket
6:47 storage. These work just like danks for
6:49 those who have used them before. When
6:50 you open it, you can set the items that
6:52 you want the pocket storage to collect
6:53 for you automatically. The first tier
6:56 will only hold up to 255 of eight
6:58 different items, which makes it great
7:00 for the different stone types that
7:01 you'll find in the beginning while
7:03 you're mining. Note that any items past
7:06 the storage limit will automatically be
7:08 voided in here. So to increase the
7:09 storage limit, all you have to do is
7:12 make the next tier. Tip number 23. Once
7:13 you have some redstone, you can upgrade
7:15 your chest by converting them into
7:17 sophisticated storage chests. This can
7:20 be done by combining a crafted chest
7:21 with a redstone torch, or you can make
7:24 the basic tier upgrades, and all you got
7:26 to do is use these upgrades directly on
7:27 the chest in the world. These chests can
7:30 be upgraded to metal tiers and can also
7:31 have upgrades installed in them, like
7:34 stack upgrades. And yes, you can put two
7:36 metal chests next to each other to make
7:39 a double iron or better chest. Tip
7:41 number 24. When you're searching for a
7:43 specific item in an inventory, you can
7:46 actually type the item name into JI,
7:48 then doubleclick the search box to turn
7:50 on highlight mode. This will highlight
7:51 the item for you if it's in that
7:53 inventory. You can also rightclick on
7:55 the search box in JI to completely clear
7:57 everything that you've typed. Special
7:59 shout out to Vault the Insane for asking
8:02 me to add that tip. Tip number 25. If
8:04 and when you decide that you need to
8:06 move, which we all know we do this,
8:08 moving chests can kind of be a pain. But
8:10 not anymore because you can craft the
8:12 packing tape and use it on a chest to
8:14 easily move it. This will wrap the chest
8:16 or double chest in tape. Then you can
8:19 break it to pick it up as a single item.
8:21 Once you place the chest back down, it
8:23 will remove the tape entirely and you
8:24 can open it up just like normal. Tip
8:27 number 26. If you have a ton of a single
8:29 type of item you want to store, don't
8:30 store it in a chest. you're just taking
8:32 up extra slots. Make a drawer from the
8:34 functional storage mod. These can store
8:36 a ton of a single item if you're using
8:38 the one by one drawers. Or it can store
8:41 two of a bunch of items in the 1x two or
8:43 four types of items with the 2x two
8:46 drawers. Stacks of items can easily be
8:48 placed in all at once just by double
8:49 right-clicking on a drawer. And this
8:51 will make unloading from a mining trip
8:54 much easier. Tip number 27. Tired of
8:56 having to craft nuggets or blocks of
8:59 items by hand? You can make a compacting
9:01 drawer to do the work for you by placing
9:03 in a nugget of the item type that you
9:05 want, say an iron or gold nugget, it
9:06 will automatically convert it to both
9:08 ingots and blocks for you. For items
9:10 like redstone that really only have
9:12 block forms, you can make simple
9:14 compacting drawers instead. These are
9:15 great for items like diamonds, redstone,
9:17 glow stone, certise, pretty much
9:19 everything else that isn't iron or gold.
9:21 Tip number 28. Once you get a decent
9:23 amount of drawers going for items,
9:24 you're probably not going to want to sit
9:26 here and rightclick each drawer. So,
9:28 this is when you need to make a storage
9:30 controller and a linking tool. The
9:32 storage controller doesn't have to be
9:34 touching a drawer to link to it, which
9:36 is why you need to use a linking tool.
9:38 I'm sure a lot of you already know how
9:40 to use the storage controller to link up
9:42 to your drawers. But here's the pro tip
9:44 that you might not know. If you sneak
9:46 right click onto the controller, you can
9:47 install upgrades into it. This might not
9:49 seem much at first, but it actually gets
9:52 kind of crazy. It pretty much covers
9:54 your entire base if you use it this way,
9:56 which means you can link drawers all
9:59 over your base and just have a
10:01 completely wireless drawer setup for a
10:03 storage room. Tip number 29. Functional
10:05 storage also has fluid drawers, but the
10:07 cool part about them is that they have
10:09 special upgrades like the dripping
10:10 upgrade. This can be stalled in a fluid
10:13 drawer to make infinite lava over time.
10:15 Tip number 30. Once you've made some of
10:17 the dripping upgrades, you can also make
10:19 the obsidian upgrades for your regular
10:21 drawers. This will passively make
10:24 obsidian over time. Tip number 31. The
10:27 best onthe-go storage solution is always
10:30 going to be a sophisticated backpack.
10:32 You can upgrade these to the metal tiers
10:34 just like the sophisticated chests. And
10:36 they can even be upgraded with stack
10:38 upgrades and plenty of really cool
10:41 upgrades that I love. Tip number 32. If
10:43 you want to never worry about eating
10:45 again, just take and make the feeding
10:46 upgrade for your backpack. Of course,
10:48 you're going to have some kind of food.
10:50 So, bonus tip, couple this with either
10:52 the everlasting beef or the infinite ham
10:54 and you will never have to worry about
10:56 eating ever again. Tip number 33,
10:59 leather is kind of a pain and we need
11:01 leather to make backpacks. The tip here
11:03 is to go out and make yourself a drying
11:05 basin from Integrated Dynamics. This
11:07 will take and convert your rotten flesh
11:10 and dry it into leather over time. Tip
11:12 number 34. One of my favorite ways to
11:15 transfer a ton of items is actually by
11:17 using the deposit upgrade for your
11:19 backpack. I normally set up a mining
11:21 backpack that has a magnet upgrade to
11:22 collect everything while I'm mining.
11:24 Then when I get back to base, I can use
11:26 the deposit upgrade to deposit
11:28 everything into my drawer system all at
11:30 once. Tip number 35. If you're going
11:32 through the quest line, you're going to
11:34 get a ton of rewards. Even if you're not
11:35 going through the quest line, you get a
11:37 ton of reward. You literally just fly
11:38 over places and it's like, "Hey,
11:40 congratulations. Quest complete." My
11:42 personal suggestion would be to set up a
11:44 backpack with a magnet upgrade. Place it
11:47 down and then use this button in the top
11:49 right of your quest screen to accept
11:51 everything all at once. When your
11:53 inventory gets full and the quest items
11:55 drop on the ground, the backpack will
11:57 catch everything for you hopefully. Tip
11:59 number 36. Not lucky enough to find the
12:01 infinite ham or the everlasting steak?
12:04 Make the juicer from Pam's Harvest Craft
12:06 and combine that with three apples in a
12:08 crafting table. This will make you fruit
12:10 punch, which is literally the best food
12:12 to make. This is actually what I used in
12:14 the entirety of my speedrun because I'm
12:15 blind and didn't see the infinite am.
12:17 I'm really bad at the game. Tip number
12:19 37. There are a ton of cool potion
12:21 effects in the pack. And you can make
12:23 most of them infinite by using an
12:25 infusion pylon. You can go ahead and
12:27 make the infusion pylon, but you'll also
12:29 need the potion filter to make things
12:31 work. Then get the effect you would like
12:33 to make infinite. For example, you can
12:34 easily give yourself infinite night
12:36 vision by just making some night vision
12:38 potions that last for about 8 minutes
12:40 each. You drink one, then you right
12:42 click with the filter in your hand and
12:44 it will absorb the night vision effect
12:46 onto the filter. Just repeat this until
12:48 you have 60 minutes worth of the effect
12:49 onto the card and it'll tell you in a
12:51 stun. Then take and put that into the
12:54 infusion pylon. As long as the infusion
12:56 pylon is chunk loaded, it will give you
12:58 the effect infinitely. Tip number 38.
13:01 Using the infusion pylon, you can make
13:03 infinite creative flight pretty easily
13:06 by making potions of flying. It only
13:08 takes three potions in total to make
13:10 enough for the infinite effect. You will
13:12 need some phantom membrane and some
13:13 popcorn to make these, but it's actually
13:15 pretty cheap to make overall, especially
13:17 for infinite creative flight. Tip number
13:19 39. If you need temporary flight and you
13:21 can't really make the infinite flight
13:23 potions, you can use a balloon on a
13:25 stick from Zycraft. When you place this
13:26 down, you'll get connected to this lead
13:28 and you'll have creative flight as long
13:30 as you stay within about eight blocks
13:32 from the post. Tip number 40. If you're
13:34 looking for a specific sapling or seed,
13:36 make the market. When you place it down,
13:39 this guy falls from the sky,
13:41 breaks his leg, and then he'll sell you
13:43 pretty much any food seed that you want
13:45 for the price of one emerald. As a pro
13:48 tip, you can buy aloe seeds from them,
13:50 and this can be used to make infinite
13:53 slime balls. Tip number 41. Looking to
13:54 get honey without having to wait for
13:56 bees to make the honey for you? Use an
13:59 ender pearl on a beehive to teleport to
14:01 the bumble zone. Not only is this place
14:03 pretty cool, but you'll find basically
14:05 infinite combs everywhere and honey
14:07 blocks. It's super easy to grab honey
14:10 here. Tip number 42. While in the bumble
14:11 zone, you want to keep an eye out for
14:14 the hanging garden structure. Within one
14:16 of the platforms, you can find the
14:18 crystalline flower. This can easily just
14:19 be broken. And make sure you grab the
14:21 crystal block that it was planted on as
14:23 well. When you plant this flower down,
14:25 it has to be planted on a crystal type
14:27 block. Whether you're using the honey
14:28 crystals that you just broke or it could
14:31 be using amethyst blocks, whatever you
14:33 decide to use. The cool part about this
14:34 flower is that when you open it up, you
14:36 can give it experience and a book and
14:38 choose from almost any of the
14:40 enchantments available in the pack for
14:42 just the cost of some experience. This
14:45 is amazing. Tip number 43. One of the
14:47 best enchantments to get is called
14:49 Nature's Blessing. It might not look
14:51 like much, but when you put this onto a
14:54 hoe, you can instantly bone meal any
14:56 crop for the cost of durability. But if
14:58 you put it on a hoe that doesn't break,
15:00 you can just bone meal things
15:02 infinitely. Like that aloe I was talking
15:03 about earlier, you just infinitely bone
15:05 meal it and you have infinite slime
15:06 because all you got to do is rightclick.
15:09 Tip number 44. Using the crystalline
15:11 flower, you should grab the decrepitude
15:13 enchant for your weapons. This enchant
15:16 will cause mobs to kind of bleed a
15:17 percentage of their health over time.
15:19 This is really good for beefy mobs like
15:21 the warden or the piglitch. Tip number
15:24 45. If you want to find a specific
15:26 biome, you want to make the nature's
15:27 compass. When you open this up and use
15:29 it, it will allow you to search for any
15:31 biome in the pack and will point you in
15:33 the direction of the nearest one. Tip
15:35 number 46. One of the best pickaxes to
15:36 make in the early game is the steam
15:39 drill from Modern Industrialization.
15:41 Now, trust me, I know MI sounds scary.
15:44 This is really not that bad. This drill
15:46 never breaks. It has a silk touch mode
15:48 that you can toggle on and off and it
15:52 can mine in a 3x3 area by default. It's
15:54 only powered by coal. To put coal into
15:56 it, you just pick up the coal and then
15:57 right click on your steam drill to put
15:59 it in. And then all you have to do is
16:00 have a bucket of water in your
16:01 inventory. That's it. That's all there
16:03 is to it and you use it anytime you
16:04 want. The recipe might look a little
16:06 crazy. You really only need a little bit
16:08 of copper, iron, and some diamonds to
16:10 make everything. Tip number 47. You can
16:13 break and move spawners with any pickaxe
16:14 with silk touch, including the steam
16:16 drill. Steam drill is pretty good, man.
16:18 Tip number 48. While silk touch is
16:19 pretty great for grabbing certain
16:21 blocks, certain blocks can't really be
16:23 broken with the enchant, like the button
16:25 blocks from AE2. Instead, make yourself
16:27 a cardboard box to move them around.
16:29 This only takes four sawdust to make,
16:32 which brings me to tip number 49. Don't
16:34 use the sawmill for mechanism to make
16:36 sawdust. You're wasting your resources.
16:38 Instead, make the sawmill from
16:40 productive trees. This is a much cheaper
16:42 recipe that doesn't require power and it
16:45 converts logs directly into sawdust. Tip
16:47 number 50. The extractors from Zycraft
16:49 have to be one of my favorite machines
16:51 to get infinite amounts of some of the
16:54 niche resources. Using these, you can
16:56 get things like flux dust from a charged
16:59 redstone crystal block, dragon eggs, sky
17:02 stone dust, certis dust from flawless
17:04 budding certise blocks, and so many
17:06 other things. You need to check these
17:09 out. Tip number 51. One of my favorite
17:10 ways to collect liquids in the early
17:13 game is actually by using a basic fluid
17:16 tank from Mechanism. While holding it in
17:17 your hand, you can scroll your mouse
17:19 wheel to set it to bucket mode, which
17:20 will allow you to scoop up to like I
17:23 think it's 32 blocks worth of liquid in
17:24 the beginning. You can also sneak right
17:26 click in bucket mode to place down a
17:28 bucket of fluid into the world. Or you
17:30 can turn off bucket mode and just place
17:32 it down so you can extract from it. Tip
17:33 number 52. You're going to be finding
17:35 condensed blood in chests, so make sure
17:37 you pick these up because these can be
17:40 placed in any type of fluid storage to
17:42 convert it into blood. The basic fluid
17:44 tank even has a slot for you to put them
17:47 into, and this will deposit all of the
17:50 blood at once. Tip number 53. Why do you
17:52 need all of that blood? Because Evil
17:54 Craft has one of the easiest ways to get
17:56 the Fortune 5 enchant by making the
17:58 vengeance pickaxe. You'll need to make a
18:00 blood infuser first, which requires
18:02 drying some blood. in that drying basin
18:04 we made earlier and then smelting the
18:07 dried block afterwards in a furnace. To
18:08 make the blood infusion core, you'll
18:11 need five buckets of blood and place
18:13 them into the world. Then throw a dark
18:15 gem into them and it will suck up the
18:17 blood and turn it into a dark power gem.
18:19 Once you have the blood infuser using
18:21 the dark power gem, give it some more
18:24 blood and then throw in a dead bush to
18:26 convert it into an undead sapling. Take
18:28 your hoe that has nature's blessing on
18:29 it and insta grow the sapling. Then
18:31 break it down and use the logs to make
18:33 dark sticks. Now you should have
18:34 everything you need to make the
18:36 vengeance pickaxe with some diamonds and
18:38 dried blood shards. Tip number 54. You
18:40 can remove any enchant off using a
18:42 simple trick. All you need to do is take
18:44 the item with the enchants on it, throw
18:46 it down and some books onto a block of
18:49 obsidian, then drop an anvil on top of
18:51 all of them. This will strip the enchant
18:54 off. So strip that fortune 5 enchant off
18:55 the vengeance pickaxe and put it on your
18:58 own pickaxe. Tip number 55. Evil Craft
19:01 also has an easy looting too enchant,
19:03 which you can get by making vein swords.
19:05 Tip number 56. You might have noticed
19:07 that there aren't many boss mobs in the
19:09 world spawning like the previous
19:10 versions of the all the mods packs. This
19:12 is because Apotheiois has changed the
19:14 way their system works. If you press
19:17 CtrlT, you can open up the world tiers
19:19 page. Each stage increases the rarity of
19:21 items found and will give you some extra
19:23 stats like luck or experience gain. To
19:25 unlock the sages, you can press L to
19:27 open up the advancements page and look
19:30 for the apotheic world tiers tab, which
19:31 has a little skull on it to make it
19:33 easy. Here you can find out the
19:35 requirements to unlock the next stage.
19:37 Pro tip, just pretty much equip every
19:39 single rarity type that you find in
19:41 every armor slot and including your
19:43 weapon slot. You'll also need to kill
19:45 the Ender Dragon, the wither, and an
19:48 invader. Tip number 57. Osmium is still
19:50 one of the best metals to use to make
19:52 tools and armor with, especially in the
19:54 early game. In all the mods 10, however,
19:56 you will need at least a diamond pickaxe
19:59 to mine. Tip number 58. The Osmium Paxel
20:01 is one of the highest damage dealing
20:04 weapons in the pack with a base of 14
20:06 attack damage. It also makes for a great
20:09 all-in-one tool. Tip 59. If you're out
20:11 mining and your diamonds keep dropping
20:14 into lava, make a simple magnet to suck
20:16 it in before it gets destroyed. As a pro
20:18 tip, you can also set a keybind to
20:20 toggle the magnet on and off. Tip number
20:23 60, furnaces can be upgraded to metal
20:25 tiers all the way to unobtanium thanks
20:28 to the mod iron furnace. This makes them
20:30 a little faster with each upgrade. It
20:32 also gives them access to even more
20:35 upgrades using augments. Tip number 61.
20:38 While the iron furnaces work really fast
20:39 at the higher tiers, you can smelt
20:42 things even faster by making a simple
20:45 blasting setup using create. You'll need
20:47 an encased fan, a water wheel, a chute,
20:50 a chest, and a bucket of lava. Start by
20:52 placing down the fan. Then connecting
20:53 the water wheel to the back of it. To
20:56 the right of the water wheel, place down
20:58 a bucket of water so that it starts
20:59 spinning the wheel to the right. You can
21:01 step in front of the fan and see if it
21:03 blows you away. This is important. Now,
21:04 in front of the fan, you want to place
21:07 down two blocks on each side like this,
21:09 and then a pressure plate in front of
21:11 that block space. This empty block right
21:12 here is where you'll put the lava. I
21:14 also suggest on covering everything up
21:16 with blocks so that it doesn't set
21:18 everything else on fire from the lava.
21:20 Next, in front of that pressure plate,
21:22 place down a chute so that items will
21:23 fall right in front of that pressure
21:25 plate. You can place down a chest on top
21:26 of the chute. And whenever you need
21:28 items to smelt, just throw them in the
21:32 chest and watch the magic happen.
21:35 As a pro tip, you can smelt down blocks
21:37 of raw ores all at once using this, and
21:40 it's so good. Tip number 62. Red stone
21:42 can be a pain sometimes to find, but you
21:44 can search for the redstone caves biome
21:47 using a nature's compass to find all of
21:49 the redstone you might ever need, at
21:51 least for the early game. The blocks and
21:53 stone you find in this biome can be
21:55 smelted down or directly converted into
21:57 redstone. Want to smelt it all down
22:00 fast? Use the create blast setup. Tip
22:02 number 63. If you're looking for one of
22:04 the easiest ways to make a decent amount
22:06 of power in the early game, the wind
22:08 generators from Mechanism have their
22:10 default values for now. as of posting
22:11 this video, meaning they're pretty
22:13 strong overall, as long as they don't
22:15 nerf it. This makes it a great choice
22:17 for your first power source and can even
22:19 charge items in the interface. Tip
22:21 number 64. When using most mechanism
22:24 machines like the metallurgic infuser,
22:25 maybe you're trying to make the wind
22:27 generator. You can put redstone directly
22:30 into the energy slot to give it power.
22:31 This makes it where you don't actually
22:33 have to have a power source to begin
22:34 with, especially if you're trying to
22:36 make the wind generators in the early
22:38 game. Tip number 65. If you haven't
22:40 gotten flight yet, even though we've
22:42 talked about several ways to get it, the
22:44 easiest way to get flight in the early
22:46 game is by making a jetpack. This starts
22:48 with the wooden tiers, but can easily be
22:51 upgraded to fly much faster and much
22:54 longer. Tip number 66. Once you have
22:56 power going, you can upgrade your iron
22:58 furnaces with a factory augment. This
23:00 converts the furnace to use power
23:03 instead of coal and will increase the
23:05 amount of items it can smelt at the same
23:08 time. Tip number 67. The pipes from the
23:10 pipes mod is one of the easiest ways to
23:12 get into early game automation. Each
23:15 type of pipe is really easy to make and
23:17 can help you create simple automated
23:19 setups like converting flesh into
23:21 leather using the drying basin. Tip
23:23 number 68. If you want to wirelessly
23:24 charge your jetpack but haven't gotten
23:27 into flux networks yet, you can make a
23:29 player transmitter from powerupa. The
23:31 most expensive part about this recipe in
23:33 the early game is needing the one ender
23:34 pearl. You'll need to make the
23:37 transmitter and a binding card to place
23:39 inside of it. Before any of this works,
23:41 you need to hold the binding card in
23:42 your hand and then right click to set
23:44 ownership of it. Then you can put it in
23:46 the transmitter and give the transmitter
23:48 some power. This will make it where the
23:50 transmitter will power your stuff
23:51 wherever you're at in that dimension.
23:53 But if you want it to work across
23:54 dimensions, all you got to do is use the
23:57 binding card on an Enderman and then
23:59 place it back in for wireless power
24:02 across all dimensions. Tip number 69.
24:04 You can wirelessly power machines in an
24:07 area using the energy transmitter from
24:09 just dire things. This is amazing to use
24:11 for things like farms using the growth
24:14 accelerators for AE2. Just one of these
24:17 can power an entire 5x5 area. Tip number
24:19 70. If you're needing ender pearls in
24:20 the early game, one of the best places
24:22 to get them is in this dungeon right
24:24 here. Each one of these dungeons has a
24:27 ton of loot and the chests can come with
24:29 several ender pearls in each. Tip number
24:32 71. Make sure to use the gates from the
24:34 gateways to eternity mod. If you
24:36 complete just one gate, you will be
24:38 swimming in mob drops for a good while.
24:40 I personally suggest on making your
24:42 first gate the enderman gate, which
24:45 requires about five ender pearls and one
24:47 blaze powder. Most of the other gates
24:49 require an ender pearl. So, by defeating
24:51 the enderman gate, you will have plenty
24:54 to use. Tip number 72. Spawners can be
24:56 upgraded to be much better using
24:58 specific items. If you want to know
25:00 which items are needed to upgrade them,
25:02 just search for a spawner in Ji and then
25:04 hit U to look at all of the items. At
25:07 Alamod 10, there is a new upgrade called
25:10 echoing that makes the mobs drop even
25:13 more loot. Tip number 73. You can change
25:15 the mob that spawns from a spawner by
25:17 using a spawn egg on it. The easiest way
25:20 to get a spawn egg is by using the mod
25:22 mob grinding utilities. You want to make
25:25 a mob swab first, then swab the mob that
25:26 you want to make an egg for. Combine
25:28 this with a seed, a bucket of
25:30 experience, and the swab, and it'll give
25:32 you chicken feed. You feed this to a
25:35 chicken, and it will give you the mob
25:37 egg that you need. Tip number 74. The
25:40 experience holder from Just Dire Things
25:42 is the best way to store and collect
25:43 experience from your mob farms. You can
25:45 open up the interface and set the area
25:47 that you want to collect the experience
25:49 at, and make sure you click on the
25:50 collect experience button to toggle it
25:52 on and off. It's also one of the easiest
25:54 ways to get a bucket of experience from.
25:56 Tip number 75. One of the best spawners
25:59 that you can get is a cave creeper
26:01 spawner. When killed, these guys drop
26:03 diamonds, emeralds, raw iron, and raw
26:05 gold. This is actually what I use to get
26:07 all the gold needed for the all the mod
26:10 star. Tip number 76. If you can't find a
26:12 specific mob for your farm, like the
26:14 cave creeper, make the rotten egg from
26:16 the mob grinding utilities mod. You can
26:18 make this by making the cursed chicken
26:20 feed first, then feeding that to a
26:21 chicken to get the rotten egg. In the
26:23 overworld, you can find a dark place and
26:26 put a 5x5 dirt floor on it. Make sure
26:28 it's dark. Then, when you use the rotten
26:30 egg on the dirt, it will convert it over
26:32 into dreadful dirt, which will increase
26:34 the natural spawn rate of hostile mobs
26:36 on the dirt. You can toggle the spawning
26:38 on and off by placing down a torch. Note
26:40 that this does not work in the mining
26:42 dimension. Tip number 77. One simple
26:44 trick to making the dreadful dirt faster
26:46 is by giving it a fast redstone pulse.
26:49 You can do this by making a redstone
26:50 clock. Just run some redstone underneath
26:52 the dreadful dirt and then set it up
26:54 with a lever. This can be great for an
26:57 early game mob farm. Tip number 78. If
26:59 you want to stop all hostile mobs from
27:01 naturally spawning around your base,
27:03 make a mega torch. If you want all
27:05 passive mobs to stop spawning, make a
27:07 dread lamp or just live in the mining
27:09 dimension. Tip number 79. You can easily
27:11 light up dark spaces in your base by
27:13 using a fereral flare lantern. When
27:15 placed, this will automatically place
27:17 down phantom light sources to light up
27:19 any dark spots near it. Tip number 80.
27:21 To speed up your farmland, make sure you
27:24 use red fertilizer on the farmland and
27:26 then surround the crops with growth
27:29 accelerators from AE2. Tip number 81. If
27:31 you need an infinite source of water for
27:33 machines in the early game, the easiest
27:35 thing you can make is a sink. Tip number
27:38 82. If you are making a large farm with
27:40 lily pads and you're tired of having to
27:42 scoop up water over and over, make the
27:45 eternal water bucket using evilcraft. To
27:46 do this, you need to start by making an
27:48 empty weather container. Then refine
27:50 yourself a dark temple. These are
27:52 everywhere and are super easy to find.
27:54 Throw the empty weather container into
27:56 the beam that's in the middle. Then with
27:58 the item that it gives you, craft up the
28:00 rain weather container by combining it
28:03 with water buckets. This can be used to
28:05 make the eternal water bucket, which is
28:07 essentially an infinite water bucket.
28:10 Tip number 83. Once you have the ability
28:12 to make the weather containers, you can
28:14 also make the eternal water blocks as
28:16 well using those same rain weather
28:18 containers. These are much better to use
28:21 than sinks for infinite water for things
28:22 like machines. That's because these will
28:25 automatically push out the max amount of
28:27 water that it can handle into the block
28:29 that it's connected to without the need
28:31 of pipes. Tip number 84. If you haven't
28:33 made the explorer's compass yet to
28:34 locate structures, you can find several
28:37 important structures using the RS locate
28:39 ritual. I actually use this to find the
28:41 ancient city in the early game. The most
28:42 important items that you'll need to make
28:45 the ritual stuff is a vexing lug, about
28:47 six or so source gems, and some
28:50 amethyst. Tip number 85, you can use a
28:52 cutting board to break down blocks into
28:54 crystals, like breaking amethyst down
28:56 into shards or quartz from smooth quartz
28:59 blocks. Tip number 86, you can make an
29:00 infinite source generator in the early
29:02 game for ours just by using snad, a
29:05 redstone clock, and some cactus. Place
29:06 down your redstone clock and then a
29:08 couple blocks above it, put just any
29:11 block that you have. Now you can place
29:13 snad around each side of the redstone
29:14 clock. And on the side, we're going to
29:15 set up some kind of collection for the
29:17 cactus. For me, I'm just going to use a
29:19 drawer with a basic item collector put
29:21 on top. And I'm going to increase the
29:22 range to make sure that it grabs all the
29:24 cactus that's going to be growing. Make
29:26 sure that you put a void upgrade into
29:27 the drawer if you're going to do this.
29:29 And this will keep it from overflowing.
29:31 Now, all you have to do is place down
29:34 your cactus, your aggronomic source
29:35 link, and your source jar, and you have
29:38 infinite early game source. Tip number
29:39 87. Let's be honest with each other.
29:40 You're probably going to want to make
29:42 that explorer's compass eventually. Use
29:45 the R's locate structure ritual to find
29:47 the ancient city. This can easily be
29:49 done by activating the ritual with a
29:50 deep slate brick. Once you get the
29:52 compass and follow it to the ancient
29:54 city, inside of the chest of the ancient
29:56 city, you'll find plenty of echo shards
29:58 that you can use to make the explorer's
29:59 compass. You'll also find some really
30:02 good enchants and if you're lucky, the
30:04 night vision goggles in the chest. Tip
30:07 number 88. Using that same steam drill,
30:09 you can mine up the skullk, shriers, and
30:10 catalyst while you're there. You should
30:12 definitely do this anyway because these
30:14 are needed for some in-game recipes. So,
30:15 it's great to grab this while you're
30:17 already there. Tip number 89. You know
30:19 what else is in the ancient city? All
30:21 theore. The ancient city is the best
30:23 place to find all the modora in the
30:25 overworld, but you can also find it in
30:27 any of the deep dark biomes. It's not as
30:29 easy to find, but this is something that
30:31 I actually didn't know. Tip number 90.
30:33 All the modium can be mined with more
30:35 than just a Netherite pickaxe. You can
30:37 use the steam drill or an inferior
30:40 pickaxe. Tip number 91. Use your first
30:42 piece of all the modium to make a
30:44 teleport pad. When you place this in the
30:46 overworld and sneak right click on it
30:47 with empty hands, both hands have to be
30:49 empty. It will teleport you to the
30:52 mining dimension. This is definitely the
30:54 best place to find all the modium as
30:56 well as pretty much every ore in the
30:58 game except for unoptanium I guess. Tip
31:01 number 92. The best Y level to mine in
31:03 the mining dimension is around Y level
31:05 112. At this level you can find
31:08 almonium. You can find coal, diamonds,
31:10 copper, gold, iron, lapis, redstone.
31:12 There's so many ores you can find at
31:14 this level. It's my personal favorite.
31:16 Tip number 93. If you're having trouble
31:17 finding a specific ore while you're
31:19 mining, like all the modium, you can
31:21 make ore sight potions from the mod
31:23 Potions Master. This can be a great way
31:25 to find a ton of whatever ore that
31:26 you're looking for. To do this, you'll
31:28 need to make the mortar and pestle from
31:30 the mod first. Next, you want to crush
31:32 down an ender pearl using the mortar and
31:34 pestle in a crafting table. Then you'll
31:36 combine the raw ore that you want to
31:37 make the potion for. In this case, a raw
31:40 autamium. You'll combine this with the
31:41 mortar, the pestle, the ender powder,
31:44 and a piece of redstone and glowstone.
31:45 This will give you a powder that you'll
31:46 pretty much need to run through a blast
31:48 furnace and then you can combine it with
31:51 mundane potions to make the orite
31:53 potions. Tip number 94. Don't drink any
31:55 of the potions because if you made
31:57 three, you can combine three potions
32:00 with six blaze powders to make a charm.
32:01 This will give you the effect of the
32:03 sight potions that you can toggle on and
32:06 off whenever you need it. Tip number 95.
32:08 If you use the teleport pad in the
32:09 Nether, you can teleport to the other.
32:11 This place does have some of the best
32:14 in-game loot, but it is also very
32:16 dangerous in all the mods 10.
32:18 Thankfully, you can fly here. Tip number
32:20 96. Using the teleport pad in the end
32:22 will teleport you to the beyond. This is
32:25 a great place to go if you're a fan of
32:28 doing sky block style worlds as this is
32:30 pretty much a void world with a single
32:32 block. Tip number 97. The building
32:34 gadget is the builder's best friend.
32:36 That's why it's called the building
32:37 gadget. Built is right there in the
32:40 name. It is great to use for building
32:41 your house. But the best tip that I can
32:43 tell you with this is that you can use
32:45 this to build out multiblocks like from
32:46 extreme reactors. You can open up the
32:48 menu and my keybind is G. You might have
32:50 to go and find it in your keybind
32:53 settings and set it to specific sizes to
32:54 help you build out any of the
32:57 multilocks. You can also use the copy
32:59 paste gadget to copy multiblocks over.
33:01 And this works great for copying over
33:03 multiblocks like the thermal evaporation
33:06 towers. Tip number 98. The exchanging
33:08 gadget isn't just used for exchanging
33:11 blocks for builders. This can also be
33:13 used to instantly grab a bunch of
33:15 obsidian all at once. Basically, all you
33:17 need to do is place down a block that
33:18 you have a ton of. Let's say
33:21 cobblestone. Sneak right click with the
33:22 gadget in your hand on the cobblestone
33:25 to set it. Then head to the end. Now you
33:27 can open up the settings menu, set it to
33:30 surface, and turn the slider all the way
33:32 up. and then right click on the obsidian
33:35 on the towers to instantly just get all
33:36 of the obsidian without having to spend
33:39 the time to break it. It's so nice. Tip
33:41 number 99. The destruction gadget is an
33:44 amazing gadget because it not only makes
33:45 giant holes if you want to build
