0:02 Most people in crypto lost money in the
0:03 last 12 months, not because they're
0:05 stupid, not because they pick the wrong
0:06 coins, but simply because they trade it
0:08 too often. Crypto rewards patience more
0:10 than intelligence. And in the exact same
0:12 time period, I publicly made over a
0:14 million dollars because I implemented
0:15 this one thing that I'm going to teach
0:16 you guys in this video, and it is simply
0:19 taking high conviction infrequent bets.
0:20 And the story behind how I discovered
0:22 this trading philosophy is a pretty
0:23 interesting one. It was September of
0:25 2024, and I was in Singapore at a crypto
0:26 event. I was sitting across from one of
0:28 the most successful traders I know. A
0:29 guy that in his early 20s has made over
0:32 $50 million and he only starting crypto
0:33 about two and a half years ago. He sat
0:34 down with me and the first thing he
0:36 asked me was like, "Oh, how often are
0:37 you trading?" And me trying to impress
0:38 him was like, you know, I'm taking
0:40 multiple trades a day. I'm on my phone
0:42 and on my laptop a lot of the day. And I
0:43 was like, "Oh, so that's what your
0:45 mistake was." And I was thinking, "Okay,
0:46 I'm still not doing enough. Like this
0:48 guy's working even harder." And he said
0:50 the opposite. You're trading too often.
0:51 You know the right trades and you're
0:53 taking filler trades in between to feel
0:54 productive. And that's when it clicked
0:56 for me. It's not about how much time you
0:57 spend in front of your laptop or how
0:58 much time you spend trading. It actually
1:00 matters what results you're getting and
1:02 how much money you're actually making.
1:03 In crypto, it always feels like there's
1:05 a million things happening. The market's
1:06 pumping, the market's red, there's news
1:08 on Twitter, there's a new war, there's a
1:10 new president, the Fed is cutting rates,
1:11 there's a million things happening, and
1:12 it's very, very difficult to keep track
1:14 or be able to make the right moves. The
1:16 core problem is overtrading, and it
1:18 doesn't come from excitement. It comes
1:20 from anxiety. Small, low conviction
1:21 trades will drain your capital. You're
1:23 better off taking a couple high
1:25 conviction bets than making a million
1:26 spray and praise. I'd rather be the
1:28 sniper that's sitting up in the tree,
1:29 measuring the wind, measuring
1:30 everything, and taking the perfect head
1:31 shot than being the guy that's in the
1:33 battlefield with a shotgun, you know,
1:34 shooting a million things, getting shot,
1:36 losing. That's not where you want to be.
1:37 You want to be the one that gets the
1:39 maximum ROI with a minimal effort. So,
1:40 something I'm going to be talking a lot
1:42 about on this channel is logical
1:44 trading. And that is the basic
1:45 philosophy of how I trade and a lot of
1:47 the most successful guys I know. And it
1:49 is simply not having a 100 different
1:50 charts open, not drawing a bunch of
1:52 lines on the chart. In fact, I don't use
1:54 much technical analysis at all. I barely
1:56 even look at the chart. It is more the
1:57 underlying narrative and what is
1:58 happening in the world to shape these
2:00 narratives. All right, so let me show
2:01 you guys some examples of trades that
2:03 I've taken in recent weeks, my thinking
2:04 behind them, as well as some things I'm
2:06 looking out for in future videos. So,
2:07 one big example of a trade that I did
2:09 very, very well on in recent weeks was
2:10 White Whale. White Whale. The basic
2:12 premise was that there was a guy that
2:14 made almost $100 million on Hyperlquid
2:16 and then lost it all on 1010 and then
2:18 launched the memecoin. Let me show you
2:19 guys here. Uh on this run up in this
2:21 section started aping in and buying
2:24 higher higher and higher. Um I had seen
2:25 I'd missed the early moves. If you're
2:27 buying down here it's a good move. But
2:29 once you know it's already past 50 100
2:31 million becomes very scary for me to
2:32 buy. So instead of FOMOing in what a lot
2:34 of people did, I knew okay what goes up
2:36 must come down. So I waited. I waited
2:38 for a little bit of weakness to show.
2:40 And you see this is basically all green
2:41 candles on the way up. So as soon as
2:43 some weakness formed, these CTO's have
2:45 bad supply control. They're very
2:46 difficult to keep these narratives.
2:47 They're not sticky. You know, people
2:49 move on to the next shiny thing. So soon
2:50 as some weakness showed, I opened up
2:52 short and I caught it this whole way
2:54 down and it was an amazing short cuz a
2:55 lot of times if you missed the way up,
2:56 this the same thing that happened for me
2:58 with Trumpcoin. You know, people had
2:59 made tens of millions of dollars of
3:00 Trumpcoin. I saw it a little bit late,
3:02 but I did make a lot of money shorting.
3:04 A lot of this logical trading is based
3:05 off attention. When things are getting a
3:07 lot of attention, the price goes up, but
3:09 eventually this attention shifts away
3:10 and then the price has to come back
3:12 down. It can't stay the main talking
3:13 point forever. And this is why a lot of
3:15 money can be made shorting meme coins.
3:16 And it's something that I do very
3:17 actively and I'm going to be sharing a
3:18 lot with you guys as well as something
3:19 I'm going to take this week. There we
3:21 go. You can see here on the 8th of Jan,
3:23 I said I'm going to take the short
3:24 position and I ended up closing it here.
3:26 Well, you'll see the screen recording on
3:29 the screen. Uh 725% profit, entering in
3:32 at 1.9 and closing here at.5, which is
3:34 around these levels here. Now, another
3:36 case of the inverse of this was the
3:37 Penguin coin. So, basically here, you'll
3:38 be able to see Penguin Coin. This is a
3:41 complete live trade right now. I'm up um
3:44 2,200% and $27,000 on this. I caught
3:46 this coin super early, so I wasn't
3:47 scared to buy in because there's lower
3:48 risk when you're in early. There's a lot
3:50 of upside, but I'm going to make the
3:52 exact same trade again. Let me pull up
3:53 this chart. Right now, it's not listed
3:55 anywhere on futures. But, I believe once
3:57 this coin, you know, has its run, maybe
3:59 goes to 50 to 100 million um and gets
4:01 listed on some exchanges with futures,
4:02 eventually people are going to move on.
4:03 Although I've made a lot of money in
4:04 this coin, I'm never loyal to anything.
4:06 It's another very important concept you
4:07 need to remember is even though you love
4:08 a coin or you like the meme, don't
4:10 become loyal to it. Right now, this is
4:12 an only up chart and this looks amazing
4:13 and it can keep going for a while, but
4:15 once it starts to show some weakness and
4:16 it's listed on futures, I will be
4:18 scaling into shorts on this coin and
4:19 that's another potential opportunity
4:20 that I'm going to be looking at. So, I
4:22 think once it breaks above maybe 50 to
4:23 100 million, I do think it's somewhat
4:25 early by the time this video goes out.
4:27 Let's see. But once it's listed on some
4:28 futures platforms, I will be looking at
4:30 taking a short on this. And the amazing
4:32 thing is once the you know the attention
4:34 shifts away it's almost only down. I
4:35 mean look at the white whale chart. Like
4:37 once it starts going down it's very very
4:38 difficult to save and people move on.
4:39 And I think the same thing will play out
4:41 here. Yeah. On this channel I'm showing
4:42 you guys live what I'm taking. Like you
4:44 literally just saw I'm up almost $30,000
4:45 on this penguin. You saw the short on
4:48 white whale. Like I'm actively trading
4:49 exactly what I'm talking about. And
4:50 that's a big thing I want on this
4:52 channel is to be completely transparent
4:53 with you guys. No, of course I'm never
4:54 going to have a 100% win rate. There are
4:55 going to be losses. There's going to be
4:57 wins. But in general I am pretty good at
4:58 this. I have been doing this for years
5:00 and I can't wait to educate you guys a
5:02 lot on this. So, the key takeaways you
5:03 guys should have for this video is do
5:05 not overtrade. Only make decisions when
5:07 you really believe in them. The Penguin
5:08 video I saw super early. There's
5:10 actually a video of me on a bus. I saw
5:11 this video super early and I bought the
5:13 memecoin because I liked it and I've
5:14 become very good at spotting narratives.
5:15 And this is something I'm going to train
5:17 you guys for. And the inverse of this is
5:18 when the narratives go away. Catch the
5:20 beautiful shorts on the way down. And
5:21 this is all for meme coins. I'm going to
5:23 make another video about how I do this
5:25 with utility coins. So remember, don't
5:26 take a trade just for the sake of taking
5:28 a trade. rather sit be the snipe in the
5:30 tree that waits for the perfect
5:31 conditions and do it. There's a couple
5:33 weeks where I won't trade at all and
5:34 sometimes if there's a lot of
5:36 opportunity I'll trade a lot more. So do
5:37 not trade based on time. Trade on
5:39 opportunities that you see in the market
5:41 and this has been my massive competitive
5:42 edge. I've been able to do very well
5:44 because of this. I am not as tired. I'm
5:46 able to have a lot more free time and
5:48 I'm able to, you know, put conviction
5:49 and put size on the bets that actually
5:51 matter. Because if you trade 100 times,
5:52 maybe only putting one or two soul on
5:54 things, then it becomes a lot more
5:55 difficult to actually win. because say
5:57 you're right, you only get paid off on
5:58 that one soul instead of saying, you
6:00 know, 10 soul, 100 soul bets because you
6:01 have more conviction. I hope you guys
6:03 enjoyed the first video on this new
6:04 channel. We're doing a lot more crypto
6:06 focused stuff and I've got the links in
6:07 the description for all the products I'm
6:09 using. Most of the future trading I do
6:10 on Blofin, which will be the first link
6:12 in the bio, and then onchain trading I
6:14 use FOMO and Trojan, which I'll also put
6:16 links for in the bio. And uh yeah, super
6:17 excited about this crypto channel. Uh,
6:18 hope you guys enjoy it and there's going
