0:06 Today on the Tom Karen channel, the past
0:09 never happened.
0:14 That's why you can rewrite it now. Revision
0:15 Revision
0:18 rewrites reality.
0:21 I am your host Tom Karen
0:24 and this is the Tom Karen channel and
0:28 studios of be something wonderful where
0:31 we help you level up and become the best
0:33 version of yourself creators. Good
0:36 morning and welcome back to the Tom
0:39 Karen channel. We have a powerful video
0:42 for you today. It's based on a question
0:45 that one of you had and you commented on
0:47 the channel and asked this question
0:50 about the teachings of Neville Goddit,
0:52 the late great spiritual teacher Neville
0:55 Goddit. And in his teachings, he talks
0:58 about the idea of revision.
1:02 The idea of remembering or rewriting
1:05 an event that seemed to have happened in
1:08 the past to how you would have liked it
1:12 to be, how you would like to remember it
1:13 right now,
1:16 which the idea is that that changes your
1:18 present and future and moves you to your
1:21 desired future.
1:23 And remember, Neville got it talks about
1:26 also about imagining your desired
1:29 future. So think about this. The the
1:32 idea of revision is just an imaginal scene
1:34 scene
1:36 of an event that appears to have already
1:40 happened in the past and remembering it
1:43 like you would have liked it to happen
1:47 in what your desired reality, your
1:50 desired past. Just as he talks about
1:54 imagining and assuming your future
1:58 outcome, your future reality, in both cases,
1:59 cases,
2:02 they're mental images. Whether it's a
2:04 memory of an event that has appeared to
2:07 have happened in the past
2:11 or an image of an event that you desire
2:14 to happen in the future. They're both
2:19 happening or mental images here and now.
2:22 In other words, nothing happened in the
2:26 past. That mental image is happening or
2:29 being created right now. Nothing will
2:32 happen in the future. that imagined
2:34 future is happening or being created
2:38 right now. That's the power of Neville
2:41 Goddit's techniques. And I want to
2:43 specifically talk about revision because
2:45 it's very powerful. And here's the
2:46 question that one of you had. I want to
2:50 read the specific question. Can revision
2:54 physically alter the past?
2:56 For example,
3:00 if I revise that I got selected in 2023
3:03 exam and got into college, then it means
3:06 I'm in the third year of my college in 2025.
3:08 2025.
3:11 How will I jump directly in the third
3:14 year of 2025? And how will I cover the
3:17 first and second year syllabus?
3:19 So, it's possible. I already watch your
3:22 revision lecture. If revision changes
3:25 the timeline then it means I will be in
3:27 my third year in college.
3:29 So I want to talk about this a little
3:32 confusion here on the idea of revision.
3:36 Remember revision doesn't change the
3:42 past because the past didn't happen.
3:44 The past is being created right now.
3:46 That image that you're remembering that
3:48 you're revising
3:50 you're creating right now. So it's not
3:52 about changing anything. That possibility
3:55 possibility
3:58 of that past that is undesired. Say that
4:00 you didn't get into college, you didn't
4:02 get accepted. That exists and will
4:04 always exist. It's not about changing
4:08 any one possibility.
4:11 It's about choosing the alternative past
4:13 or in other words, the alternative
4:15 reality here and now because they all
4:17 exist. Whether you're imagining the
4:20 future or remembering the past, they're
4:23 both mental images right now. It's about
4:25 choosing that alternative version of
4:28 you, that alternative lifeline or film
4:32 roll or script. So, it doesn't change
4:35 physically or non-physically or alter anything
4:37 anything
4:39 any time because timelines are just an idea.
4:40 idea.
4:43 It's all now.
4:46 Physical equals non-physical. There's no
4:49 physical past. There's just you, the
4:52 physically focused you here and now remembering
4:53 remembering
4:55 who they were, who they are, and who
4:59 they will be right now. And that changes
5:02 everything. Do you hear this? The the
5:04 one thing that keeps you keeps you from
5:06 moving to that is this idea that you
5:09 believe there's this physical past
5:11 that you're trying to change by
5:12 remembering it differently, but there's
5:14 no physical past. There's nothing in the
5:16 past. It's happening right now. And you
5:18 got this physical present that you're
5:20 try that you say it hasn't changed in
5:23 this future you're trying to get to.
5:27 But remember that idea of that script,
5:28 that version of you, that version of
5:30 events exists and will always exist in
5:34 potential. It's not about changing that.
5:35 The script is written. A course in
5:37 miracles talks about that. In other
5:41 words, all possibilities exist. every
5:43 um lifeline
5:46 or experience in that linear horizontal
5:48 experience of a past, present and future
5:52 has its own fate or destiny. You don't
5:55 change that. Instead, there are infinite
5:57 scripts and film roles and timelines and
5:59 you choose.
6:01 They're all just simply mental images
6:04 that exist now.
6:05 Whether you're remembering the past or
6:07 imagining the future, you're remembering
6:10 it all here and now. It's all a memory
6:11 because creation's finished. In other
6:14 words, all potential realities exist
6:16 here and now.
6:18 There are infinite scripts and
6:19 alternative timelines or frames or
6:22 linear arrangements.
6:24 How you can linear arrange all those images.
6:26 images.
6:28 Right now, you get to decide. It's about
6:31 remembering who you are. Now,
6:34 a course in miracles, there's a couple
6:37 ideas that they present. One is that
6:40 history wouldn't exist if we didn't keep
6:42 repeating the same mistakes in the
6:44 present. What's the mistake? By
6:47 believing that there's a fixed physical
6:50 past that you can't change or that you
6:54 want to try to change with revision.
6:56 Everything's happening right now. That's
6:58 why history wouldn't exist because there
7:00 is no history. You're creating it all
7:02 now. You're deciding it past, present,
7:04 and future.
7:06 And the other idea they they present is
7:09 this idea that we would we have a
7:11 strange use of memory. This is what a
7:12 course of miracles says. We have a
7:14 strange use, right? We use it to regret
7:16 things or to hold on to things or to to
7:18 to believe we've got to we want to
7:20 change something that seems to have
7:23 existed in the past. But what does a
7:25 course of miracles says? We would use it
7:28 differently. It's a tool to remember.
7:31 Now hear it. Like Bashar says, it's a
7:34 permission slip. That's all memory is to
7:37 remember who you are now. In other
7:39 words, you can you can decide who you
7:43 are right now. Like Alice in Wonderland
7:44 says, I could tell you about what
7:46 happened to me in the last 24 hours, but
7:49 I was a different person then.
7:51 You're a different person in every
7:52 moment. It's about remembering who you
7:55 are now. It's the miracle of
7:58 self-awareness, your God-given gift to
8:00 be aware of yourself from infinite
8:02 viewpoints and perspectives here and
8:05 now. And that changes who you were, who
8:07 you will be, and who you are here and
8:10 now. That's what revisions about.
8:13 It's there is no physical path to change.
8:15 change.
8:17 It's a choice. It's a decision to
8:19 imagine and remember yourself as how you
8:21 would like to be right now. And that
8:27 This is what a course of miracles says.
8:29 Remember, I've often said that when you
8:33 are remembering and imagining
8:35 yourself as who you would like to be
8:37 now, in other words, if it's a p if it
8:40 if you if you're remembering something
8:41 that you believe is the past, you're
8:43 remembering yourself as how you would
8:46 have liked to it to be and you're
8:47 remembering yourself as you would like
8:49 to be in the present to create that
8:52 future. You're performing a miracle by
8:54 seeing yourself as that ideal version of
8:57 you right now changes everything. It's
9:00 the miracle of self-awareness.
9:02 It's the choice and a decision to
9:04 imagine and remember
9:08 who you desire to be here and now. And
9:10 this is what a course in miracles says
9:12 about that miracle. The miracle abolishes
9:14 abolishes
9:18 the need for lower order concerns.
9:20 So in your question, you're talking
9:22 about, "Yeah, but I'm a little confused.
9:23 What about the first year syllabus and
9:25 the second year syllabus and all of this
9:28 stuff? How do I jump to a timeline? What
9:31 about 2023, 2025?" Those are all lower
9:33 order concerns. It's not concerned with
9:38 time and space and all of that.
9:40 It says it here, the ordinary
9:42 considerations of time and space do not apply.
9:44 apply.
9:48 When you perform a miracle, miracle when
9:51 you perform a miracle [laughter] between
9:53 words there. Love this. This is it,
9:55 guys. We do one and done here. We don't
9:58 edit our videos. When you perform a
10:00 miracle, it's a decision. It's a choice
10:03 here and now. Here's what it says. I
10:05 will rearrange both time and space to
10:07 adjust to it. That's your Christ
10:09 consciousness, your higher self saying,
10:11 "I'm going to arrange everything. I'm
10:13 going to rearrange all of these frames
10:17 to accommodate you." Wow.
10:20 That's ultimate revision.
10:23 Imagine that's it. I'm going to
10:26 rearrange it all.
10:29 Those are lower or those those are lower
10:34 order concerns. Those are not concerns.
10:36 So yeah, it rearranges everything by
10:38 your choice here and now. That's powerful.
10:40 powerful.
10:42 So this is what I want you to do as a
10:45 24-hour challenge. Remember yourself as
10:48 how you would always have liked to be in
10:50 who you would like to be here and now.
10:52 Whether you're imagining that desired
10:56 future or remembering the past as as you
10:59 would have liked it to have been, you're
11:01 imagining it right now. It's not in the
11:04 past. It's not in the future. It's here
11:06 and now. Physical equals non-physical.
11:10 Seen equals unseen. It's all you. It's
11:13 all now. It's all God. It's you as
11:16 reality. You are all the power in
11:19 reality there is, was or will ever be
11:22 here and now.
