0:01 hey everyone so this is going to be a
0:03 completely free course on how you can
0:05 use chat GPT I guarantee you if you
0:07 watch this video from start to finish
0:09 you'll become an expert chat gbt user
0:11 we'll be going over 15 different types
0:12 of command prompts that you guys can use
0:14 yeah I think you're gonna be blown away
0:17 by just how powerful chat GPT is and the
0:18 wide range of things that it can help
0:20 you with so what I recommend you guys do
0:22 is not only watch this video but as you
0:24 watch it follow along create your own
0:27 account enter in the prompts with me and
0:28 I guarantee you that's going to be a
0:30 much better way to learn so let's get
0:32 started alright so I have chat gbt
0:35 opened up right here if you guys go to
0:37 chat.openai.com it's going to bring you
0:39 to this page we'll be linking this down
0:41 below so it's a little easier for you
0:42 guys but the first thing you're going to
0:44 want to do is come here and click sign
0:46 up now if you already have an account
0:48 you guys can click login of course but
0:50 I'll show you guys how to do this
0:51 basically it's going to want your email
0:53 address and another way to actually
0:55 create your account is by setting in
0:57 with Google or with your Microsoft
0:59 account so you'll enter in your email
1:00 address here and and click continue
1:02 it'll send you an email to confirm your
1:04 accounts and once you confirm your email
1:06 you'll be able to access your account so
1:09 this is the dashboard for chat GPT as
1:11 you guys can see I have chat GPT plus
1:14 which is 20 per month as I am filming
1:16 this video but this is not required as
1:18 long as you guys use chat GPT 3.5
1:21 default or Legacy these are going to be
1:23 completely free to use if you do however
1:26 want to try gbt4 you guys can pay for
1:28 this account but it's not necessary and
1:30 in this video I'll just be showing you
1:32 guys how to use a chat gbt for free so
1:35 the 3.5 version as I'm filming this
1:37 video so over here on the left is where
1:39 you can create new chats and the really
1:42 cool thing about chat gbt is that each
1:44 of these new chats it sort of remembers
1:46 what you type so you can view each of
1:48 these chats over here as like a new
1:50 conversation it'll be able to remember
1:52 the context of other answers that it
1:54 gives you within that chat so you can
1:56 sort of view each of these chats as a
1:58 separate person who you've already had a
1:59 conversation with if that makes sense
2:01 now you guys do need to know that there
2:04 are some limitations with chat EBT all
2:06 the data that chat GPT has learned only
2:09 goes up to September of 2021 so if
2:11 there's anything that has happened since
2:13 then it's not going to know that that
2:14 has happened so just take that into
2:16 account one asking it certain questions
2:18 right it's not going to be able to
2:20 answer questions on current events also
2:23 not every single answer or 100 of its
2:25 response is going to be accurate there
2:27 may be some discrepancies there may be
2:29 some errors so it's always important to
2:31 fact check to make sure that the answer
2:33 is accurate and correct so let's talk
2:35 about the different command types and
2:36 the first one we're talking about today
2:39 is asking chat gbt for specific facts or
2:41 details and by the way we're going to be
2:43 going from sort of like basic stuff to
2:45 more advanced things so yeah just keep
2:46 that in mind so just like with Google
2:49 you can ask chat gbt to give you certain
2:52 facts right so for example I can come
2:55 down here and I can ask who is the
2:57 founder of Apple it's going to give us
2:59 our answer uh the co-founders of apple
3:02 or Steve jobs Steve Wozniak and Ronald
3:03 Wayne this type of command prompt is not
3:05 that interesting because you can
3:07 literally do this with Google or any
3:09 other search engine but the cool thing
3:11 about chat gbt is that it's more of like
3:13 a conversation instead of searching on
3:15 Google and having to look through
3:17 different websites to get your actual
3:19 answer this is going to sort of
3:21 summarize all that information from all
3:22 the data it's learned from and present
3:24 that information to you with a written
3:26 response so it's sort of like the Google
3:27 Knowledge panel that you guys may have
3:29 seen which basically gives you a summary
3:31 of the answer this is just like a better
3:32 version of that you guys can get
3:34 creative with the types of answers and
3:36 facts that you want to ask it and really
3:37 it should be able to answer almost
3:39 anything you throw at it just another
3:42 example let's say who wrote the book How
3:45 To Kill a Mockingbird so it presents our
3:48 answer and that is correct so yeah super
3:50 super basic and that's just the First
3:51 Command type that we're talking about
3:53 all right the second command type is
3:55 actually asking for suggestions I'm
3:57 gonna create a new chat here and we can
3:59 begin asking chat GPT for suggest
4:02 questions on pretty much any topic so
4:03 I'm really into self-development I can
4:05 ask you something like recommend five
4:07 books about self-development so as you
4:09 guys can see I've asked it to recommend
4:11 five books I've been very specific with
4:13 that about a topic which is
4:15 self-development all right so that is
4:17 the answer that's given me if you guys
4:19 don't like the answer that's given you
4:21 you guys can always click regenerate
4:22 response so I'm actually going to click
4:24 on that right here just to show you guys
4:26 it's going to go ahead and recreate that
4:28 answer it'll likely be different every
4:30 single time and yeah as you guys can see
4:32 now we see this little thing right here
4:34 two of two this means that there have
4:37 been two answers generated for this
4:38 specific prompt and we can actually
4:41 toggle back and forth between these two
4:42 different answers and of course we can
4:44 keep regenerating it'll have a third one
4:46 and so on now one thing you guys can do
4:49 is actually click the thumbs up or the
4:51 thumbs down button this is more to train
4:53 the AI so if there's something in here
4:55 that's completely incorrect of course
4:57 you guys can click on this it's going to
4:58 ask you to provide some additional
5:00 feedback and you guys can admit that
5:01 feedback you guys can also ask it
5:04 something like what are some good shows
5:07 to watch on Netflix now again the data
5:09 only goes up to September of 2021 as of
5:11 right now so nothing on this list is
5:13 going to be brand new but this does seem
5:15 like a pretty good list of shows a lot
5:17 of these I do really enjoy so yeah you
5:19 can sort of view chat GPT as a concierge
5:21 you can pretty much ask it anything and
5:23 it's going to know the answer to it all
5:24 right so the next command prompt we're
5:26 talking about is language translation so
5:28 not a lot of people know this but chat
5:31 gbt is basically a Google translate on
5:33 steroids it's a much better version it's
5:35 going to be able to translate text a lot
5:37 better that's because it takes context
5:39 and social cues into context so with
5:41 Google translate you're only getting
5:43 like an actual word for word translation
5:46 with Chad gbt it knows how things are
5:48 actually said in real use and it's going
5:50 to take all that information and be able
5:52 to synthesize a really good translation
5:53 for you so let's go ahead and try that
5:55 right here what I like to do is I like
5:58 to First give chat GPT some context so
5:59 I'm gonna say something like I am
6:03 currently traveling in Spain and I'm at
6:07 a restaurant and I want to ask the
6:10 waiter what are your three most popular
6:13 dishes can you translate this for me of
6:15 course you guys can ask the same exact
6:16 question many many different ways but
6:18 this is just how I've asked it in this
6:20 situation you guys can see it knows
6:22 exactly what I'm asking for it has that
6:24 context and it's going to give us the
6:27 translation which is this right here now
6:28 you might not know how to actually
6:31 pronounce that so we can go how do you
6:33 pronounce that and the great thing is
6:35 that it knows what you're asking it's
6:36 going to give us the actual
6:38 pronunciation and yeah I think that's
6:40 super super cool really really useful
6:42 for a real world situation so not only
6:45 is this really good for spoken language
6:46 translation when you're out and about
6:48 it's also really good for written
6:50 translation as well so if you have blog
6:52 articles if you have emails basically
6:53 anything that's written you can
6:55 basically copy it here and have it
6:56 translate it for you the prop for this
6:58 is basically just going to be translates
7:00 we can do something like dots and then
7:02 write in the text for example let me
7:03 just copy this right here and let's
7:06 actually say translate into Chinese okay
7:08 so it's going to turn that into a
7:10 written Chinese it's also going to tell
7:12 us the pronunciation and yeah get really
7:13 creative with this this is just a very
7:16 cool uh feature of chat GPT it's like
7:18 having a language scholar available at
7:19 any time that you can literally just
7:21 talk to all right so the next command
7:23 prompt that we're talking about today is
7:25 comparing different things Chad GPT is
7:27 very very good this has so much
7:29 information and data that's scraped from
7:31 and so that's why I can provide very
7:33 good answers for you guys so let's go
7:34 through an example right here what is
7:36 the difference between cats and dogs as
7:38 pets super random right but it's going
7:40 to be able to compare these two
7:41 different things and so yeah even if you
7:43 give it a very basic prompt like this
7:46 it'll be able to create a very cool
7:48 answer and so if we look through this it
7:49 looks pretty good it talks about
7:51 Behavior Uh care requirements
7:54 relationship with owners it also gives
7:55 us a little summary now let's say for
7:58 example this is too long and you want
8:01 this to be written with let's say 200
8:03 words or less we can say rewrite this in
8:06 under 200 words and let's say it's also
8:08 a little bit too complex for us we can
8:10 actually say but pretend like you're
8:13 writing to a complete beginner or
8:17 someone that is in fifth grade okay so
8:19 let's click that it's going to generate
8:20 that you can see now the language is a
8:23 lot easier it's a lot shorter instead of
8:24 talking about those different categories
8:26 which is a little bit more advanced it's
8:28 just breaking down to cats and then dogs
8:30 then doing a quick little summary like
8:32 that yeah this is obviously a lot more
8:34 easy to understand for someone that's in
8:35 the fifth grade and so that's another
8:38 cool trick with chat EBT you can
8:40 literally tell it's the tone you want to
8:42 use who's going to be the one reading
8:44 the content so it's going to know how to
8:45 write it as well as the number of words
8:47 you want to generate we can also ask
8:49 something like what are the differences
8:52 between IOS and Android and Bam it's
8:54 giving us a very very good answer of
8:56 course I always recommend you guys give
8:58 it feedback so literally think of chat
9:00 gbt as a person you can tell it
9:02 literally anything right you can be like
9:04 this was too long this was too hard to
9:06 read I didn't like this response can you
9:08 focus more on the security portion or
9:11 can you focus more on the hardware it's
9:13 so open to any feedback you have for it
9:14 and it's going to take that into
9:17 consideration remember it as context and
9:19 so like I said earlier this chat right
9:21 here it remembers everything that you've
9:23 said as well as everything that it said
9:25 and as you build more and more context
9:27 within this chat it's going to give you
9:29 even better answers okay so the next
9:32 command prompt is having chat gbt do
9:33 creative writing for you now this is one
9:35 of the big places where chat GP shines
9:38 it is a written word AI of course so
9:40 it's actually very very strong at taking
9:43 your prompts and creating written
9:45 responses and with creative writing you
9:46 guys it can literally be anything we can
9:49 have chat GPT write email templates for
9:51 us and have it write an email response
9:53 we can have it write blogs we have it
9:55 write songs we can have it write a play
9:57 a short story we have right jokes
9:59 literally anything you guys want to be
10:01 written chat gbt can do you just need to
10:03 ask it to do it so for example let's
10:05 start off with something more fun let's
10:07 have it write us a short story all right
10:08 so I've written write a short story
10:11 about caterpillar that falls off a tree
10:13 loses his family and then is reunited
10:16 make sure it's super funny and make it a
10:18 feel-good story so I've given it the
10:20 general storyline and I've also said you
10:21 know I want it to be funny and I want to
10:24 be a feel-good story so we've given it
10:25 pretty specific context of course if we
10:27 have other requirements I'd recommend
10:29 putting that in this prompt we can give
10:31 as many requirements as we want and it's
10:33 going to generate a short story for us
10:35 so I'll click enter and it's going to
10:37 immediately start making a story you can
10:40 see it named the caterpillar Carl and
10:42 put that but it's very very creative
10:43 it's going to come up with things like
10:46 that and Bam we have a story about Carl
10:48 the caterpillar that loses his family
10:50 but is reunited now let's say I want the
10:53 story to be turned into a song right
10:56 rewrite this as a song Bam it's going to
10:58 start generating lyrics to a song it's
11:00 gonna have like verses courses is all
11:01 that stuff and it's going to tell that
11:03 story within the lyrics which is really
11:05 really cool let's say we want this to be
11:08 a poem we write this as a poem we can
11:10 say we want to be a haiku we want to
11:11 have this many syllables we can get
11:13 really really specific so just know that
11:15 whatever you want chat GPT to write it
11:17 can basically do it for you another use
11:19 case for this is having it write emails
11:20 for you all right so write me an email
11:22 to the Land Rover car dealership saying
11:24 that they overcharge me on the repair
11:26 and if possible I'd like them to look
11:27 into it it was a repair on the
11:29 windshield that happened last Thursday
11:30 my name is Charlie other person I'm
11:32 addressing to is called Frank be super
11:34 nice in the email right so I've given it
11:36 a lot of context I've told it what I
11:37 want to be included and I've told it
11:39 also to be super nice so let's see what
11:41 this spits out I've actually used this
11:43 to respond to emails believe it or not
11:45 it actually does a very good job and if
11:47 you guys read this I think it actually
11:49 sounds pretty good I could pretty much
11:51 take this paste it into my Gmail and
11:52 send it Beyond something that's more
11:54 personalized like this you can also have
11:56 it create email templates for you so for
11:58 example let's say you're applying to a
11:59 bunch of jobs you can have have it
12:01 create a template outlining a few things
12:03 that you want to include all right let's
12:05 see what this gives us coolest doesn't
12:07 have brackets where we can enter in the
12:09 person's name a bunch of other brackets
12:10 for your name the company name all that
12:12 stuff and yeah this looks really really
12:14 good so again maybe not the exact email
12:16 you want to send out yes and take this
12:18 as a draft and put in your own little
12:20 spin to it but I think that's a very
12:21 great starting place again get really
12:23 creative with this there are so many
12:24 things you guys can have chat GPT right
12:26 for you the possibilities are literally
12:28 endless all right so the next type of
12:30 command prompt we can use for chat EBT
12:32 is having it brainstorm ideas for us
12:35 tragedy is actually extremely smart I've
12:37 used this many many times and the ideas
12:39 it gives you they're actually really
12:40 really good let's go through an example
12:41 right here all right so I'm having a
12:43 birthday party for about 20 friends we
12:45 want to do something Outdoors that costs
12:47 under 50 per person can you give me five
12:49 ideas on what to do pretty specific
12:51 let's click enter so bam now it's giving
12:53 us five good ideas we have Beach day
12:56 outdoor movie night Bike Tour hike or
12:58 picnic in the park so I think those are
13:00 really good ideas let's say want to have
13:02 it you know talk more about one of those
13:04 let's we can say something like expand
13:07 on picnic in the park let's say give me
13:09 these step by step okay so now it's
13:11 gonna give us a step-by-step guide for
13:13 organizing a picnic in the park which I
13:14 think is super cool and so yeah you can
13:17 sort of view uh chat GPT as being able
13:20 to help you come up with ideas for
13:21 pretty much anything right like right
13:23 here we talked about a birthday party
13:26 given a few requirements we could also
13:28 do something like if you're starting a
13:30 business and you don't know what type of
13:31 business name to actually choose we can
13:33 have chat GPT come up with a list that
13:35 work all right so I've given it some
13:38 context on what my business is and we're
13:39 going to ask what are some good business
13:41 name ideas give me eight names
13:43 preferably under 20 characters now it's
13:44 going to brainstorm this and give us
13:47 eight possible business name ideas of
13:48 course I always recommend you guys take
13:50 a look at this give it feedback let's
13:54 say those names sound too boring give me
13:57 another 10. that's gonna give us 10
13:58 other ones that hopefully are a little
14:01 bit more exciting and less boring let's
14:03 say you really like a perfect prep you
14:05 can say give me five more like perfect
14:07 prep it's not going to know that we like
14:09 that specific name so it's going to give
14:10 us something that are more similar so
14:11 it's going to give us ideas that are
14:13 more similar to that and we can get
14:15 super creative guys we can even ask how
14:17 would you build this business and yeah
14:18 now it's going to brainstorm how you
14:20 guys can actually you know start this
14:22 business the next type of command prompt
14:24 is summarizing text for us so one thing
14:26 that Chachi is extremely extremely good
14:28 at is taking long pieces of text and
14:30 being able to turn it into a much more
14:32 concise piece of text so I've gone ahead
14:35 and copied over parts of chapter one of
14:37 Pride and Prejudice and what I'm gonna
14:40 do here is say summarize this text okay
14:43 we'll click shift enter and I'll paste
14:45 that right here so bam it already knows
14:47 that it's from this book and it's going
14:49 to give us a summary about what that
14:50 text is saying we don't even actually
14:52 need to give it text we can just say
14:54 something like summarize Pride and
14:55 Prejudice it's going to give us an AI
14:57 generated summary we can say something
14:59 like rewrite this in outline format I've
15:00 got go ahead and copied over some text
15:03 from openai which talks about the
15:06 methods that they've used to create chat
15:08 gbt what I'm going to do is I am going
15:11 to come up here summarize this text but
15:15 make it understandable for a 10 year old
15:18 okay bam that's very very easy okay
15:22 let's say summarize that but explain it
15:25 to a college student so now this is
15:27 going to create that same thing but have
15:29 it be a little bit more complex more
15:30 suited for a college student and yeah
15:32 one great thing with chat gbt is that we
15:34 can enter in a bunch of information we
15:38 can ask chat GPT to summarize it to
15:40 create bullet points with it to rewrite
15:42 it just make it more easily digestible
15:43 for different types of people all right
15:45 the next command prompt is having it
15:48 generate different lists for us for
15:49 example let's write something like this
15:50 I'm trying to lose weight give me a list
15:53 of top 10 foods to eat that are healthy
15:55 it's going to go ahead and create that a
15:56 list of 10 different things yeah this is
15:59 obviously very useful for Gathering info
16:01 information and let's say I forgot to
16:04 say that I'm a vegan so now it's gonna
16:05 be like oh whoops uh we didn't know that
16:07 you're a vegan now that we know here's
16:09 another list of 10 things that you can
16:10 eat yeah if you guys are trying to do
16:13 research for an article for an essay for
16:15 a school assignment or pretty much
16:16 anything this is a really great way to
16:18 come up with like different things that
16:20 you guys can include in that piece of
16:21 written content of course you can even
16:24 have chat gbt just write out the essay
16:25 for you or whatever it is I don't
16:28 condone you know plagiarism because if
16:30 you do actually just copy it and you
16:31 know submit that as your own work that
16:33 is considered plagiarism there are more
16:35 and more tools out there that are pretty
16:37 good at seeing if text is AI generated
16:39 so yeah instead of just doing that which
16:41 I don't recommend take the text rewrite
16:42 parts of it you know like incorporate
16:45 your own words into it not for me at
16:47 least is the best way to create written
16:48 content another command prompt that's
16:51 very cool with chat GPT is having it
16:53 give you pros and cons for certain
16:55 topics for example let's say that we are
16:57 deciding between a traditional sauna and
16:59 infrared sauna and we want to know the
17:01 pros and cons of each again this is
17:02 basically just like doing a bunch of
17:04 research for you from information that's
17:06 scraped from the internet as you guys
17:07 can see here it's formatted this really
17:09 well it starts off with the traditional
17:11 sauna goes over the pros and then the
17:13 cons and then talks about the infrared
17:15 sauna pros and then the cons essentially
17:16 you guys can see that chat GPT is just
17:19 really good at giving you guys a bunch
17:20 of research that is presented in
17:22 different ways so you guys have it
17:24 presented in a list pros and cons
17:26 summarized literally do whatever you
17:27 want it to do all right so the next
17:28 command prompt that we're talking about
17:30 is having chat GPT request names quotes
17:32 or studies for you so let's create a new
17:34 chat here's something that we could
17:35 write so find three scientific studies
17:37 about optimal number of hours of sleep
17:40 and Summarize each study finding so it's
17:41 going to give you the study name it's
17:43 going to tell you the summary of it and
17:44 yeah it's gonna do that three times
17:46 since that's what we asked it for a
17:47 really great way to get you know like
17:50 actual data-backed answers I will say
17:51 that you want to confirm that these
17:52 studies were actually done sometimes
17:55 chat gbt can confuse different studies
17:56 and mix them together so just make sure
17:58 that this is an actual study and that
18:00 this is the actual you know data that
18:02 was found from that study it's also very
18:04 good at finding you quotes so let's say
18:06 give me three quotes about success bam
18:07 we have three different quotes let's say
18:09 give me three quotes about how amazing
18:12 chat GPT is we can even say what are the
18:15 three most famous quotes from let's say
18:16 Elon Musk and yeah it's just so good
18:18 scraping information from the web and
18:20 presenting it in this like very easy
18:22 conversational style format okay the
18:24 next command type that we're talking
18:26 about is giving you feedback on your
18:28 text this is super super cool and not
18:31 that many people use chat GPT for this
18:32 so I'm basically going to do is I'm
18:35 going to copy some text that I wrote for
18:37 my website and I'm going to have it
18:40 actually give me feedback on what's good
18:41 and what's bad so if you're a teacher
18:43 you can actually use chat GPT to sort of
18:46 help you grade essays and papers you can
18:48 see I entered in this text right here
18:50 asked it to give me the good and the bad
18:52 and what I can improve on so it's going
18:54 to summarize like what things about what
18:56 I wrote it says it likes the use of
18:58 personal anecdotes which is super cool
19:00 that knows that and then one thing that
19:01 says that can be improved is the
19:03 organization of the text we can even be
19:06 like how would you rewrite this text
19:08 okay and now it's going to give us a
19:10 possible rewrite of this text which is
19:12 super cool nice let's actually
19:14 um enter in some more text and let's say
19:19 give me a grade for this short essay
19:20 okay unfortunately it's not going to
19:21 give me a grade but it's still going to
19:23 give us feedback on this text of course
19:24 we can have it rewrite it we have it
19:26 rewrite it in under 50 words we can even
19:28 say something like provide an analysis
19:30 of my writing style and so let's rewrite
19:32 that there it's going to tell us my
19:34 writing style it's concise and to the
19:36 point and yeah think of it just like as
19:37 a writing tutor you can just literally
19:39 ask anything you'd be like how would you
19:41 change this what things would you add
19:43 what things would you take outs which
19:44 words would you change out are there any
19:47 better more advanced words I can use it
19:48 can literally help do anything with any
19:50 text that you put in so yeah if you're
19:52 writing a lot of text then chat GPT is
19:54 definitely a very good tool because it's
19:55 going to make your writing a lot better
19:56 so the next command prompt we're talking
19:59 about is actually using chat gbt to role
20:01 play with you so like we mentioned uh
20:03 Chachi BT can basically be like another
20:05 person that you can talk to and so one
20:07 really cool use case is assigning some
20:09 type of identity to chat gbt and having
20:11 it actually talk with you simulates
20:13 conversation or whatever it is so let's
20:15 say this you are interviewing me for a
20:17 job at Microsoft please conduct a
20:19 practice interview with me so and I was
20:20 asking me tell me a little bit about
20:21 yourself and the position you're
20:23 applying for we'll give our response
20:25 alright so obviously this is not just
20:26 one question it's asking me eight
20:28 different questions but basically what I
20:30 can do is I can respond to those
20:32 questions or I can pick one of them and
20:33 respond to it and it's going to give me
20:36 a response so let's say
20:38 make money or something like that okay
20:41 it's going to give its response ask a
20:43 follow-up question and we can sort of go
20:45 on from there you know you can basically
20:47 spend hours and hours talking to chat
20:49 GPT after assigning it some type of
20:51 identity and so it's pretty cool to role
20:53 play different situations if you do want
20:55 to practice different scenarios you can
20:56 also of course have it give you feedback
20:59 on how you did and ask it things like
21:00 what would have been a better response
21:02 that I could have said another type of
21:03 role playing you guys can do is if
21:05 you're trying to learn a language you
21:06 can role play by you know having a
21:08 conversation in that language so we can
21:18 obviously that was not role-playing it
21:21 just gave us a sample conversation so
21:25 so now it's going to start doing that we
21:28 can say bonjour okay obviously that's
21:29 not working too well but I think you
21:31 guys get the point make sure you guys
21:33 give it enough context and be very clear
21:36 on what you want chat gbt to do okay so
21:37 the next type of command prompt is
21:39 having chat GPT explain different
21:41 concepts here's one use case scenario
21:44 this so let's actually have chat gbt
21:47 answer a question for us more
21:48 specifically a math question okay a
21:50 circle has a diameter of 10 centimeters
21:52 what is the area this is actually going
21:54 to answer the question and tell us
21:56 different steps it took to get that
21:58 answer you guys can see it first found
22:00 the radius and then did plugged it into
22:02 this formula a equals pi r squared which
22:04 is correct uh let's say you actually
22:06 don't understand the concept of that
22:09 formula right can you explain the
22:12 formula of finding the area of a circle
22:14 so now it's going to go into more detail
22:16 about this formula what each of these
22:18 things are why this works so yeah this
22:20 is a really great way to have chat gbt
22:22 explain different concepts that you may
22:24 not understand it's basically like a
22:27 free tutor right like if I were to ask
22:29 my tutor this question they would also
22:31 answer it pretty similar to this if this
22:33 is too long you can say make it shorter
22:36 it'll rewrite that but make it you know
22:37 more concise we can even ask a question
22:41 like this I'll do banks collapse right
22:42 so if you don't know how Banks National
22:44 collapse it's going to tell you all the
22:46 different ways in which they can of
22:48 course this is the reason why svb and
22:51 other banks have just crashed but of
22:51 course it's not going to know those
22:53 current events since that was very
22:55 recent the next type of command prompt
22:58 is actually asking chat GPT what to ask
23:00 it so asking chat GT for what types of
23:02 commands you can give it right so I have
23:03 an essay I wrote and I want to know what
23:05 types of commands I can ask you
23:07 regarding editing my content so bam
23:08 these are all different command prompts
23:11 that you guys can ask chat EBT after
23:13 putting in your essay and this is just a
23:16 really great way to learn more about the
23:17 different things you guys can do in chat
23:19 EBT this video is pretty comprehensive
23:21 but of course we're not going to be able
23:23 to cover everything you guys can do so
23:25 what I recommend doing is after watching
23:26 this video If there's still other
23:28 scenarios or things you want to
23:31 potentially explore with chat GPT you
23:33 can always ask chat gbt what you can ask
23:35 it and that sounds funny but like it's
23:37 definitely a really good way to learn
23:39 more about chatgpt for example I can put
23:41 in how can I use chat gbt to help me
23:43 write code so you're essentially asking
23:45 it how you can use it to help you with
23:47 your stuff and this is a great command
23:48 prompt because it's going to tell you
23:50 exact things that you guys can actually
23:51 type it's going to bring up different
23:53 use case scenarios yeah if you guys have
23:55 any questions about chat gbt just
23:57 literally ask chat GPT the question
23:59 right it's going to know it and then the
24:01 last command type we're talking about is
24:03 using chat GPT as your Mentor now this
24:04 whole channel is about like
24:06 entrepreneurship and building businesses
24:08 and you know stuff like that and the
24:10 great thing is that chat GPT has a lot
24:12 of knowledge and you can actually ask it
24:14 for a lot of Life advice alright so I'm
24:16 a 22 year old college grad and I want to
24:17 start a business I have a thousand
24:19 dollars and want to do a service based
24:21 business that I enjoy doing I like
24:23 photography tutoring and website can you
24:25 give me five ideas for businesses I can
24:26 start as well as what I can name them
24:28 this is basically something that you'd
24:29 ask someone that you are learning from
24:31 right and it's going to go ahead and
24:33 spit out five answers and I think these
24:35 are actually pretty good and remember
24:37 these are full on conversations so think
24:39 about this as someone having just said
24:41 this to you right so let's say you want
24:43 to do photography I can say I think
24:46 photography would be really cool how
24:49 would I go about that that's going to
24:51 tell you more about how you can actually
24:52 start your photography business give you
24:54 all the different steps we could be like
24:57 what's website builder should I use to
25:00 build my portfolio website it's going to
25:02 give us a list of a bunch of different
25:04 website Builders and so yeah basically
25:06 just continue this conversation view
25:08 chat GPT as your Mentor it has access to
25:10 so much knowledge I would say the only
25:11 thing that chat GP doesn't have is
25:14 accountability right so you can ask it
25:17 for all this information and advice but
25:18 it won't be able to hold you accountable
25:21 which is the most important thing so
25:22 just something to be aware of overall I
25:25 just need to think of chat GPT as a very
25:28 very very smart person in every single
25:30 topic there is out there think of it as
25:32 like an assistant as a mentor as a
25:35 friend as a Storyteller as a researcher
25:36 whatever it is and if you use these 15
25:38 different command types you'll be able
25:40 to make your life so much easier chat
25:42 gbd can help you in all your personal
25:43 life stuff as well as your business life
25:46 stuff it can have you plan out vacations
25:48 for you create itineraries and yeah the
25:49 main thing is that you need to treat
25:52 this as a bot that knows everything and
25:54 with all Bots it's all about the
25:55 commands that you input so here's some
25:56 of my big tips that will make the
25:58 answers you get infinitely better one is
26:01 you need to be super super specific and
26:02 very clear with your prompt the last
26:04 thing you want is ambiguity because
26:05 that's going to introduce a lot of
26:07 unknown variables so the more clear and
26:09 the more specific you are with your
26:10 question the more context you're
26:12 actually giving it then the better the
26:13 answer is going to be also get
26:15 comfortable with giving a lot of
26:17 feedback okay so I think a lot of people
26:19 don't realize just how important the
26:21 feedback is the more feedback you give
26:22 it the better the answers it's going to
26:24 give you be more fine-tuned those
26:25 answers are going to be yeah another is
26:27 you have to be super super patient this
26:29 is still an AI software that's being
26:31 tested it's going to have its bugs not
26:32 everything's gonna work perfectly all
26:34 the time and also at first it's going to
26:36 take you guys a while to be able to know
26:38 what questions to ask what type of
26:40 context to give what type of commands to
26:41 give it may take you guys a good amount
26:44 of time to get the desired answer and so
26:45 you have to be patient with this you
26:47 need to be able to ask more questions
26:49 you have to be able to give it feedback
26:51 and yeah that takes a lot of time sort
26:52 of think of yourself as a journalist
26:54 right you can ask follow-up questions
26:56 you guys can give feedback you can hone
26:57 in on certain points that you want to
26:59 talk about more or get more details on
27:00 get really good with your communication
27:02 because that's going to help you with
27:04 chat EBT so anyways I hope you guys
27:06 found this tutorial helpful we covered
27:08 so many different things and yeah feel
27:09 free to reference this video at any
27:10 point because I know you probably don't
27:12 remember everything we talked about but
27:14 hopefully you guys did follow along with
27:16 your own chat GPT and that's really
27:18 going to make sure that the things we
27:20 talked about today you know stay in your
27:21 head now you guys can actually take
27:23 action with these command prompts and
27:24 incorporate them into your own lives
27:26 anyways thank you guys so much for your
27:28 time if you guys enjoyed the video make
27:29 sure to hit that like button and also
27:30 subscribe for more content just like
27:32 this I do a ton of content about
27:34 personal finance entrepreneurship as
27:35 well as investing on this channel thank
27:36 you so much and I'll see you in the next
