0:13 so today I'm gonna talk about the
0:16 seasons of course there are four main
0:19 seasons that exist spring summer fall
0:23 and winter in English the fall season is
0:26 also called autumn so you can hear some
0:29 people say fall and other people say
0:31 autumn let's talk about some of the
0:33 differences between the four seasons
0:36 spring is universally known as the
0:39 season that brings life this is the time
0:42 of year when the flowers bloom and the
0:45 trees fill with new leaves in some
0:47 regions spring is a really beautiful
0:50 season but in other places spring isn't
0:51 so exciting
0:54 for example if you live in the northern
0:57 regions of the US spring is usually a
1:00 really beautiful time of year but if you
1:02 live in other parts of the US there
1:04 isn't much difference between spring and
1:07 the other seasons when I lived in Oregon
1:10 I saw a real spring for the first time
1:14 the trees turned green pink and purple
1:16 and the whole landscape looked different
1:18 but in the other cities where I've lived
1:21 this type of spring season doesn't exist
1:24 spring is also the season when the days
1:27 get longer because most countries start
1:29 daylight savings time at the beginning
1:31 of spring this is my favorite thing
1:34 about the season okay now let's talk
1:37 about summer this is my favorite season
1:40 because I love the Sun and I love long
1:43 days of course in some places summer can
1:46 be uncomfortable because of the heat in
1:48 certain cities the temperature in the
1:52 summer can be 40 or even 45 degrees
1:55 Celsius this is too hot even for me I
1:58 can handle hot weather but if it's
2:00 hotter than 40 degrees that's a little
2:03 too much summer is usually kids favorite
2:05 season too because they have summer
2:08 break or summer vacation when I was
2:11 young everyone would get so excited in June
2:12 June
2:13 because it was the last month of school
2:16 we would get about two and a half months
2:20 of break and it was great summer is also
2:22 the season when many people take family
2:25 vacations and travel in my opinion
2:27 summer is the best season of them all
2:30 okay now let's talk about fall or autumn
2:33 fall is similar to spring in that some
2:36 places don't really have this season but
2:38 if you go to a region that does have
2:40 this season you'll see some amazing
2:43 colors for example when I lived in
2:47 Oregon fall was a distinct season around
2:49 the end of September the leaves on the
2:52 trees would change color and become red
2:55 orange and yellow if you've never seen
2:58 this before I recommend that you take a
3:00 trip to a region that has this season
3:03 it's such a cool experience to see the
3:06 colors and of course leaves fall down
3:08 from the trees so there are leaves
3:11 everywhere on the ground that means that
3:13 when you walk there are always leaves
3:17 crunching under your feet but in most of
3:19 the cities where I've lived there is no
3:23 real fall season all right lastly let's
3:26 talk about winter for many people this
3:28 is the worst season because it's really
3:31 cold if you live in a cold country
3:35 winter lasts for a really long time this
3:37 brings a lot of problems and hard work
3:40 in the cities where I've lived though
3:43 winter is mild in Southern California
3:46 and Mexico the temperature doesn't get
3:50 very low and it doesn't snow so I've
3:52 never experienced a true winter before
3:54 and I'm ok with that
3:57 I think winter can also be beautiful if
4:00 there's snow and there are plenty of fun
4:02 winter activities that you can only do
4:05 in the snow like skiing and snowboarding
4:08 so winter can be either miserable or
4:12 great depending on who you are and where
4:15 you are ok that's all for today leave a
