0:22 English so I left Kenya when I was seven
0:24 and then I went to live in London and I
0:27 lived there until I was 12 so um I was
0:29 there for primary school I made so many friends
0:30 friends
0:33 and then I moved to America when I was
0:35 12 and started middle school and high
0:38 school and it's really helped me be a
0:41 well-cultured well-rounded person I've
0:42 gotten to meet people from all over the
0:51 great well I started acting when I was
0:54 14 in my freshman year of high school I
0:57 used to be really shy so I wanted to
0:59 kind of put myself out there so I
1:01 decided to join drama club and theater
1:03 and I just fell in love with it I fell
1:06 in love with telling a story with making
1:09 people feel emotions whether it's happy
1:13 sad angry and I just think that movies
1:16 and plays and TV shows really inspire
1:18 people and help them escape and uh it
1:21 changes the world I definitely would
1:23 consider doing a Kyon movie I think it's
1:25 important for us to support one another
1:28 in our community and I'm actually going
1:31 to be working on a Kenyan movie that's
1:34 uh based in Los Angeles and I can't say
1:36 too much about it but make sure you stay
1:44 that uh my favorite childhood memories
1:46 are just spending time with my mom and
1:49 dad and my sister and my brothers um in
1:51 London we used to go to the park a lot
1:53 my dad taught us how to ride a bike
1:56 taught us how to play soccer um we would
1:58 always go out and get pizza after church
2:00 on Sundays just spending time with
2:03 family I got to meet Tom Cruz a few
2:05 weeks ago and take a picture with him
2:08 and I've loved him my whole life and um
2:16 crush I think my strongest personal
2:19 quality is that I'm a compassionate
2:21 person I genuinely care about people and
2:24 their well-being I'm always ready to
2:28 help if I can and um I'm very empathetic
2:35 people okay so the worst date I've ever
2:37 been on this guy came and picked me up
2:39 and we're in his car on the way to a
2:41 restaurant and he started talking about
2:45 how women are inferior to men and that
2:47 they should obey their masters and they
2:50 need to be programmed like a computer
2:53 almost like from a young age and it was
2:55 really bad I just wanted to get out of
2:59 the car and the best date I've been on um
3:00 um
3:02 we ended up hanging out for 3 days
3:05 straight and it was cool because I've
3:06 never had a connection with someone
3:08 where like I'm just fine with hanging
3:18 yeah I would absolutely give a homeless
3:21 person CPR if they were dying I love all
3:24 people no matter what you know what kind
3:26 of person they are whether they're
3:29 homeless a prison inmate um you know
3:31 know I just think we should all show
3:40 another um I'm not too familiar with the
3:42 Kenyon film industry but I do know
3:45 there's a lot of passionate and talented
3:47 individuals in Kenya that are working on
3:51 Amazing projects and I plan on going to
3:53 Kenya in December to learn more about it
3:56 and just immerse myself in it I love my
3:59 fans in Kenya you guys are amazing um
4:01 can't even believe I have fans but I
4:03 really appreciate all the messages you
4:05 send me and all the love that you've
4:08 shown me and I'm coming in December so I
4:10 would love to work with you guys that
4:12 are in the entertainment industry and I
4:21 you when I become successful um I
4:24 definitely want to go back to Africa and
4:27 start production companies or mentorship
4:31 programs where um young filmmakers and
4:34 actors can go to learn about their craft
4:36 and be able to practice [Music]
4:47 [Music] it
