0:02 so today I'm going to talk about Builder
0:05 2 and give everyone a general overview
0:09 of how to use this asset um once you've
0:11 inported it into your project like we
0:14 have here you can see that we have the
0:15 Builder 2 project
0:18 folder and you can access the general
0:20 tools of Builder up here in the building
0:23 menu uh here we can just click on create
0:26 new building and it will create and
0:28 select a new building for you to use in
0:30 unity now the first thing we need to do
0:33 is create the uh initial volume uh of
0:35 the four options here we can start off
0:38 by placing a square volume uh when you
0:42 click here and place it into the scene
0:45 View and here we can see a basic uh volume
0:47 volume
0:51 here we can also uh click drag a
0:53 rectangle shape um that could be any rectangle
0:54 rectangle
0:59 shape and finally we can free draw any
1:02 sort of uh shap we want in the SC view like
1:11 this so we'll start off with just a
1:15 basic uh Square uh
1:18 building now what we can do here is edit
1:22 the uh building floor height um and we
1:25 can change the the number of
1:27 floors so that we can have a slightly taller
1:28 taller building
1:37 now next I want to apply a facade to our
1:39 building and this is a bit different
1:41 than from version one um where we now
1:45 have facade uh Styles and here as you
1:48 can see we can just drag a facade style
1:52 directly from our project view onto a
1:55 selected Builder facade and it will
1:58 update it as we drop it on there
2:16 next we can uh look into editing roofs
2:19 the moment we have three options um I'm
2:21 going to show you uh the pitched and the
2:23 mansard roofs along with the default
2:26 flat roof but for now we'll stick with
2:29 mansard and we'll add some dmal windows
2:31 to it and here you can see we can edit
2:46 apply a wall section style to the uh
2:47 dmal window
2:50 faad uh we're just going to go with a
3:04 now with the roof we need to apply
3:07 textures individually and in Builder we
3:11 have um what we call surfaces which are
3:14 contain a little bit more data uh than
3:17 your standard um unting materials so
3:19 that we can generate the appropriately
3:21 sized textures now next we're going to
3:24 generate an interior for our building
3:25 there are two ways that you can create
3:28 rooms in Builder the first way as we can
3:41 rectangles the second method is we can
3:45 click place the the rooms by clicking on
3:48 points on the floor plan and putting down
3:50 down
3:53 walls with this method we can Define far more
3:54 more
3:58 complex and interesting room layouts
4:04 and as you can see in order to complete
4:32 point with our rooms we can also apply a
4:34 room style which gives us which defines
4:38 for us the textures of the walls the
4:57 ceiling the final thing we can add into
5:00 a interior is a vertical space
5:02 which defines an are a space that can
5:13 volume here we can set it up to be a
5:15 stairwell that goes from the ground
5:17 floor across all of the floors of the
5:20 volume to provide access from the ground floor
