0:00 hi this is AJ and you made it
0:04 rule number seven our final rule here it
0:09 is rule seven is this use the listen and
0:16 answer stories use listen and answer
0:19 stories to speak very quickly to
0:23 understand immediately and really to
0:26 speak English automatically and when I
0:30 see when I say speak English
0:32 automatically what I mean is this I mean
0:34 that you are thinking in English there's
0:37 no translating happening you're not
0:39 thinking about rules you're not trying
0:42 to remember a bunch of vocabulary you're
0:45 not translating from English to your
0:47 language to understand and then from
0:50 your language back to English when you
0:52 need to speak some people learn to do
0:55 that translating very quickly but even
0:58 if you learn to do it quickly
0:59 it's still not instant and automatic to
1:04 truly speak like an American a Canadian
1:07 and a British person to truly speak
1:09 effortlessly you have to be thinking in
1:12 English it's the only way to do it so
1:17 how do you learn to do that you use
1:19 listen and answer stories I saved it for
1:22 last because this is the most powerful
1:24 rule of all in my opinion they're all
1:28 powerful you should use all of them but
1:30 this one I feel is the most powerful so
1:34 let's talk about what it is it's the key
1:36 to faster English it's the key to more
1:39 natural speaking it's the key to instant
1:43 automatic understanding and speech so
1:49 before I tell you what this is exactly
1:52 let me talk about what happens in normal
1:55 schools so in a normal school and using
1:59 the old methods the old methods which
2:01 are like 200 years old or older these
2:05 are really old methods what do you do
2:08 you learn with your eyes you sit on your
2:10 butt in a chair and you want to teacher
2:13 up
2:14 from the class the teacher writes a
2:16 bunch of rules and vocabulary and
2:18 translations and you take notes and then
2:20 you all look in the textbook and you do
2:22 exercise number four page 78 blah blah
2:27 blah you also do a lot of listening and
2:32 repeating right
2:34 the teacher might put on a CD or if the
2:37 teacher can speak English themselves and
2:39 many times they cannot but if they do
2:42 know English somewhat they might say
2:45 like an English phrase or sentence and
2:48 then you repeat after them so the
2:49 teacher says hello how are you and then
2:53 says class repeat after me hello how are
2:55 you and the whole class together says
2:58 hello how are you I'm fine and you
3:04 class repeat and the class says I'm fine
3:07 and you listen and repeat that's how a
3:12 lot of CDs out there it's the same thing
3:14 right you hear in English phrase and
3:16 then you repeat it here you repeat it
3:18 here's the problem one of the problems
3:21 with listen and repeat you can just turn
3:25 your brain off when you do that you can
3:28 repeat it you but you might not
3:30 understand it you might not know what
3:33 you're really saying you might be
3:36 pronouncing it completely wrong but you
3:40 just repeat repeat repeat your brain
3:43 turns off you don't need to think in
3:44 English at all
3:45 you don't even need to understand what
3:47 you're saying so it's not powerful it's
3:50 not a good way to learn English and of
3:54 course as we all know it's very boring
3:56 so that's what happens in normal school
3:59 regular school regular textbooks regular
4:03 programs listen and answer stories are
4:06 different it's a special kind of story
4:09 designed to help you understand English
4:13 instantly and then use it very quickly
4:17 and this story is designed the way we do
4:21 these stories they're created and
4:24 designed to teach you to think in
4:26 English
4:28 understanding and speaking
4:30 no more translation no more thinking
4:33 about rules and we're thinking about
4:34 anything it's just you understand
4:37 instantly and when you want to say
4:39 something it just pops out of your mouth
4:40 automatically so how do we do this well
4:45 what happens is the teacher asks a very
4:48 interesting strange and funny story and
4:53 then the student immediately and
4:57 constantly answers a series of questions
5:02 now you notice I said the teacher asks
5:05 the story not tells the story what does
5:10 that mean
5:11 well it means instead of just telling a
5:13 story there was a dog the dog was hungry
5:16 he went to the store and he bought some
5:19 cereal that's just telling a story fact
5:23 fact fact fact and that's okay you know
5:28 there's nothing wrong with that but this
5:30 method is much more powerful so instead
5:32 of doing that the teacher would say what
5:37 was there of course you have no idea but
5:41 you would just guess a person the boy a
5:43 dog a man and then the teacher would say
5:46 ah there was a dog and then the teacher
5:50 would say what did the dog want again
5:56 you don't really know so you would say
5:57 ah you know to go to the park to go to
6:00 school to swim and then eventually a
6:02 teacher would give you the answer the
6:05 dog wanted to eat then the teacher would
6:08 ask a lot a lot a lot of very simple but
6:11 fast easy questions about information
6:16 you already know in the story the
6:18 teacher would say what was there and you
6:21 would say a dog you'd answer very
6:22 quickly and instantly what did the what
6:24 did the dog want to eat did it all want
6:27 to sleep or did the dog want to eat to
6:30 eat who wanted to eat the dog and if
6:35 this would go on and on and on very fast
6:38 lots and lots and lots and lots and lots
6:40 of questions
6:41 sometimes the teacher order add new
6:43 information with these questions you
6:45 just guess and then a lot of times the
6:48 teachers asking lots of different kinds
6:51 of questions about information you
6:52 already know and that's how the teacher
6:55 asks the story instead of telling the
6:59 story now you as the learner you as the
7:02 student are constantly hearing these
7:05 questions and answering as fast as you
7:09 can it's like a game so you hear the you
7:12 hear it and you try to instantly answer
7:14 it now the questions are very very
7:17 simple and easy and that is by design
7:21 right we want them as the teachers we
7:24 want the questions to be simple and easy
7:25 see if we ask you a bunch of difficult
7:27 questions you're going to pause you're
7:31 going to stop you'll start thinking you
7:33 might have time to translate but by
7:35 answering you very fast simple easy
7:39 questions they're so easy that you don't
7:42 need to think you don't need to
7:43 translate instead you understand them
7:46 very quickly and then you answer very
7:48 fast and this is how the training starts
7:50 you see so you start learning to
7:53 understand faster understand faster
7:54 understand instantly without any kind of
7:56 translating and by trying to answer
7:58 faster faster faster with just a one
8:00 word or two words your training your
8:03 brain to respond in English faster and
8:06 faster and faster and faster so your
8:09 understanding faster you're answering
8:10 faster and this is how real
8:12 conversations happen right there's a lot
8:15 of back-and-forth one person speaks than
8:17 the other one and the other one than the
8:18 other one someone asked a question you
8:20 need to understand it immediately and
8:23 then you need to understand I mean to
8:25 respond to it and answer it very quickly
8:27 and immediately there's no time for
8:30 translating in real conversations so
8:33 this is an amazing way to train you to
8:36 speak English quickly easily and
8:39 automatically it's so powerful now
8:43 here's the other nice thing about these
8:45 stories in my lessons in my stories
8:48 might listen and answer stories I always
8:51 do kind of crazy strange and funny story
8:55 usually the characters are little
8:57 strange animals or celebrities and it's
9:00 very strange and interesting situations
9:02 and they're entertaining they're funny
9:03 and I do that for two reasons number one
9:07 I want you to enjoy learning English so
9:09 that's nice
9:10 but the other reason is that your brain
9:14 the way your brain works is that it
9:17 understands and remembers strange
9:20 information quicker and longer than
9:26 normal boring information right if you
9:30 meet somebody if they have a strange
9:32 name you probably will remember their
9:35 name more easily than if they just have
9:38 a normal average name that a lot of
9:39 people have right our brains
9:42 pay attention to strange things to funny
9:45 things to different things that's what
9:48 we remember better and so if you're
9:51 listening to a strange and funny story
9:52 if it has new vocabulary you will
9:56 remember that vocabulary more easily if
10:00 you're just reading some TOEFL book you
10:02 know super boring you're not going to
10:05 remember that same vocabulary word as
10:07 easily but if you hear that word in a
10:09 strange funny interesting story with
10:11 strange events and crazy characters you
10:16 will more likely remember that new
10:18 vocabulary word because it's funny
10:21 because it's strange and of course I'm
10:24 going to be asking so many questions
10:25 using that new vocabulary again and
10:28 again and again using that grammar again
10:30 and again and again and again and again
10:31 you get so much repetition from these
10:34 questions that it goes deep it's deep
10:36 learning so for all of these reasons
10:40 listen and answer stories are the most
10:43 powerful way to improve your English
10:46 speaking the most powerful because in
10:50 many ways these stories use all the
10:52 other rules right you're listening with
10:55 your ears your to these stories their
10:57 audio stories you're getting lots and
10:59 lots of repetition and deep learning
11:01 you're hearing phrases and whole
11:03 sentences and it's real material it's a
11:06 it's a real story it's not some fake
11:08 boring textbook thing you're hearing
11:12 lots of different kinds of grammar I
11:13 mean this is so powerful these kinds of
11:15 stories and that's why rule number seven
11:18 the final rule use listen and answer
11:22 stories to speak English quickly and
11:27 easily and automatically to actually
11:30 learn to think in English and that's it
11:35 you did it you have graduated from the
11:37 seven rules video and email course
11:40 congratulations now it's time to take
11:44 action if you want to get a different
11:47 result you have to do things differently
11:51 if you continue using the same old
11:53 methods if you continue doing the same
11:55 old thing you will continue getting the
11:58 result that you're getting right now if
12:01 you're happy with that result
12:03 great continue doing what you were doing
12:05 in the past it's fine if you're not
12:07 happy with your current level of English
12:10 speaking then clearly you need to do
12:14 something differently because using
12:17 those old methods will just continue to
12:20 get you the same old result I mean we
12:24 all know this it's just obvious is
12:26 logical if you want a different result
12:28 you have to do something differently so
12:31 you need to take action now and you need
12:34 to do something differently you need to
12:36 use all seven of these rules totally and
12:40 completely change the way you learn
12:43 English speaking and when you do that
12:47 you will get a totally different result
12:49 a much more powerful result a better
12:52 result there's a few ways you can do
12:55 this you can create and design your own
12:58 learning plan independent learning plan
13:00 you can go out and find all your own
13:01 materials you can do all of that it's
13:03 possible people do it a very convenient
13:07 way a very fast way to start immediately
13:09 to start today is to use my lessons and
13:14 my lessons use all of these seven rules
13:17 of course they do and they're a complete
13:20 audio package

13:24 you get that my lessons today and you
13:26 listen to one lesson set for one or two

13:38 speaking will be more powerful more
13:41 automatic faster you'll understand more
13:44 instantly your pronunciation will be
13:46 better your spoken grammar will be
13:48 better
13:48 all of this will improve and you'll do
13:51 it by listening to interesting articles
13:53 interesting teachings about personal
13:56 growth and success crazy and funny
13:59 stories and of course these listen and
14:01 answer stories that's all you do every
14:04 day for about one hour every day you
14:06 will do that and I usually say four to
14:10 six months is when you will feel that
14:12 sudden improvement you know you will
14:14 improve gradually gradually gradually
14:15 but then after about four or five six
14:18 months for some people at seven or eight
14:19 it depends on everything each
14:21 individual's different but around that
14:24 time around that four to six month time
14:26 you're speaking and your understanding
14:27 and your listening will all start
14:29 improving very quickly you'll feel a big
14:32 change so get started now take action do
