The podcast episode explores the idea that our perceived reality is a construct, a "matrix" or simulation, and that scientific discoveries, ancient wisdom, and personal transformative experiences are converging to reveal a deeper, consciousness-based reality.
Hello and welcome to episode number 121
of the point of convergence podcast. As
always, I am your host, Exoacademian.
For those paying close attention, it has
become apparent in recent years that
various fields of scientific inquiry are
converging on a set of startling and for
many paradigm collapsing revelations.
Each of these truths points to the
understanding that reality as we
regularly perceive it through what is
known as the default mode network is
simply not what it seems. For those
coming from outside the conventional
western model of the world, however,
such insights are what we might call old
hat. For these people, it has long been
understood that our daily waking
experience is subsumed within a much
more real while also paradoxically
subtle frame of existence. Layers upon
layers of existence to be more precise.
The picture becomes even clearer when we
look back a few centuries within western
civilization and find that the current
physicalist model is an outlier even
here. That is to say for the vast
majority of history even within the
western context reality has largely been
viewed through an idealist lens. A
perspective that holds consciousness to
be the fundamental reality with the
material world existing only as an
appearance within that vast sea of mind.
Of course, this understanding begs an
important question. If materiality is
merely a particular modulation within
consciousness, might it be possible to
adjust that modulation to experience a
realitycape other than this one? or
perhaps the journey into one of the
subsuming realms referenced earlier.
What might such an experience reveal not
only about reality but about the
ultimate nature of the self?
This is precisely the journey I have
embarked upon of late as have many
others before me. The realizations
encountered across multiple journeys
have provided a firsterson experience of
something much closer to ultimate
reality. The epiphanies I've experienced
not only reframe our apparent material
reality, but even more fundamentally
deepen the very way I experience the eye
that serves as the locust of identity.
And these are the very realizations that
we'll seek to unpack in this the 121st
episode of the point of convergence podcast.
As we begin this week's episode, I would
just like to remind everyone that if you
would like to support this podcast and
my work in general, and in so doing gain
access to all of my content, which
includes the weekly podcasts I release,
as well as the various feature series I
create, for instance, on the Seth
material, the raw contact material, and
the Dolores Canon material, as well as
gaining early access and discounts to my
online courses and inperson person
retreats, you can do so by going to patreon.com/exoacademian
or by subscribing on Spotify.
All right, with that preamble aside,
let's move on to this week's topic. In
describing this week's episode, I said
upcoming on PO, what does it mean to
escape the matrix? I break down the
perspective I've gained from five
journeys beyond this construct. What are
the implications when outer space is
found within inner space? Is this the
key to human liberation? So, this is
what we're going to be delving into
today. Now, as I mentioned at the
outset, there are various fields of
inquiry within science that are
converging around this fact. one that
points to as I've been saying for quite
some time now the notion that
consciousness is primary is foundational
and that everything else is an
epifenomenon arises from in other words
that foundation. Now this is true for
instance in astronomy where evidence is
pointing towards the fact that this is
likely a hologram or a hologram like in
nature. Meaning everything we perceive
everything we walk around in the
apparent physicality we interact with is
all holographic in nature. Now of course
the reason why this is difficult for
some people especially in the west to
really wrap their minds around is
because it feels so real. And when we
all agree on this feeling real, we
assume this must be base reality. But of
course, we know, as I've said before,
that optical illusions can play that
trick on us. And sometimes, even often,
once we know that something is an
optical illusion, our brains will still
be fooled by it. We also think about
people who talk about a flat earth.
They're convinced based on their first
person experience that the world must be
flat, and yet the evidence points to the
fact that it is not. So this is the
point we have to look beyond our first
person experience in this particular
context using our everyday senses to
determine the actual nature of reality.
And what we find when we do that is that
for instance within astronomy this
appears to be a hologram. And for beings
projected from a 2D source or a higher
dimensional source into three dimensions
this is how it would seem. And so in
that sense we need to extrapolate what
this means. It means basically that our
felt sense of things here isn't the full
picture. Now beyond astronomy we also
have physics that points to the fact
that spaceime cannot be foundational.
This is not just a new line of thinking.
This is suggested very clearly in the
data themselves. We know that spacetime
becomes incoherent at very small scales
and very large scales. In other words,
it's only within certain experiential
boundaries that it seems to be real.
Now, this is essential because for a
consciousness induced construct to be
effective, it needs to offer an
immersive environment that is generally
internally consistent. It need not be
exhaustively self-consistent, however,
because the point is to present an
experiential learning architecture, not
to satisfy endless scientific
measurement. Tellingly, this is exactly
what we find when we study the cosmos.
And in this sense, the boundary
conditions provide hints as to the
overarching meaning-driven purpose. And
then beyond astronomy and physics, we
can look to neuroscience. We think about
the hard problem of consciousness, a
problem that's never been solved because
it cannot be solved within physicalism.
All of the evidence points to the fact
that consciousness is non-local, which
is to say the body mind that we
experience as ourselves is really better
described as an avatar. And the brain,
if anything, is a transducer that
attunes consciousness that is non-local.
And even there, it doesn't attune the
full bandwidth that's available. Rather,
it actually attunes a very narrow slice
of the totality. And this is why what we
experience is only one aspect of a much
deeper broader reality scape. And even
there this is better described as a
multiplicity of reality scapes
interpenetrating reality scapes. Now
while this is the case that we
experience reality like this under
what's called the default mode network
there are ways that have been tried and
tested over time that show that you can
change the modulation. You can change
the configuration of how the mind
engages with the larger context. This
can be done through meditation, deep
meditative practices, through
psychedelics, through cranial
stimulation, and even through new
technologies that are coming online that
offer full body immersion and various
tweakings of our experience that open us
up to deeper realities.
Now, something else that's really
fascinating here is that when we think
about, for instance, the UFO phenomenon,
many people are trying to ground this in
physical reality. In fact, many people
who are proponents of this topic will go
out of their way to ground it in
physical reality. Of course, that's kind
of missing the forest for the trees if
ultimately physical reality is just an
illusion, a purposeful illusion, but
elucory nonetheless. And what's
fascinating is that when we explore how
people might encounter these beings, not
just quote unquote here, but in these
non-ordinary states using some of the
techniques I just mentioned, we find
that the beings do indeed show up there.
For instance, I've before mentioned the
experience of my friend Chenade, who
while she was in Peru doing a
traditional shamanic ceremony with
encountered alien beings. alien beings
that furthermore recognized her and
seemed to be celebrating the fact that
she had found a way to reconnect with
them, not just the way. So once again,
this is all pointing to the same kind of
notion that our particular way of
experiencing reality within the default
mode network is just one of a
plentitude. And speaking of this use of
psychedelics to access these beings,
these realities beyond the usual one, I
want to reference something that
Terrence McKenna has said. He said,
quote, "The something else is flying
saucers." I know it sounds nuts, but
they're mixed up in this somehow. It's
pretty murky now. Fortunately, it
doesn't matter yet, but DMT is somehow
linked to the whole psychic, you know,
Yungian side of the notion of saucers,
deep water. I know it's a hunch, but
strong. Now, this is something Terrence
said to a friend of his when he was
reflecting on these matters. Of course,
Carl Jung, who I'll quote later, also
entertain similar notions. What is it
about these non-ordinary state
techniques and technologies that allows
us to make contact with some of these
beings and to experience myriad reality
scapes? Reality scapes that don't just
sit alongside this one, but that somehow
interpenetrate this one. Knowing that
that interpenetration happens, it begs
the question, what is the mechanism of
that overlap of that interaction between
realms? Might it have to do again with
consciousness? our consciousness which
is a subset of the original mind. I do
indeed believe that's the case and I
will unpack today some of the
experiences I've had personally that
lead me to that conclusion.
Now a notion that's become very very
common of late is this sense that we
might be living in what's called a
simulation. Of course that's kind of
computer type language to describe what
this is. But this notion that this
manifestational realm is elucory is an
ancient one. And according to non-dual
traditions, we should clarify that all
manifest reality is elucory. So in that
sense, this is not a simulation sitting
in some deeper actual reality on some
alien mainframe or something. Rather,
there is the oneness that is the
ultimate reality. And all manifest forms
are elucory because they are all
projections from that oneness. Think
again about appearance within mind. That
gives you a better sense of what's going
on here. Now, I want to say that I am
fully invested like so many here in what
we colloquially call the UFO phenomenon.
That said, what's currently being
considered and integrated is really just
the very tip of the proverbial iceberg.
The reason this remains such a
confounding fit for the dominant western
model is that it points to reality
frames that eclipse this one. This
points to what I was saying at the
outset. It's like what we see in a
series of nested Chinese boxes. And yet
at the same time, each of these frames
is but a puff of smoke in an elaborate
illusion of shifting forms. The most
rewarding and transformative shift is to
identify with the fire itself, not with
the smoke, no matter what forms it may
temporarily take. So that's how I look
at all of this, that all of these
manifestational realms and forms within
these realms. That is the smoke. The
fire is the oneness of source
consciousness, pure awareness itself,
which is what we ultimately
fundamentally are. That's what we're
going to explore today. And this is very
much the reality that I have come to
after my experiences.
And before I dive into those in detail,
I first want to point out that this is
paradoxically suggesting that outer
space, what we perceive as outer space
is actually a phenomenon arising from
and existing within inner space. So what
is this relationship?
Well, we have to think of inner space as
the primary field. Inner space refers
not merely to thoughts or emotions but
to the field of awareness itself. What I
just pointed to that within which all
experience arises.
Everything that appears whether it's
sensory, conceptual or energetic
manifests within this awareness. Thus
outer space is not outside of
consciousness but a structured
appearance within it like a dreamscape
within the dreamer's mind. This is an
analogy I've used many times on this podcast.
podcast.
So in light of that, let's consider
psychonautic and contemplative correlations.
correlations.
So deep meditative absorption for
instance in Janna's and samadei or
certain psychedelic states dissolve
perceptual boundaries showing that space
itself is mind relative.
Experienced explorers often report that
when the self dissolves, the small self,
the small ego self, the cosmos folds
inward, revealing that the entire
experiential manifold arises within the
same luminous field of pure awareness.
Hence, the recurring insight arises.
Outer space is inner space viewed
through the lens of separation. The
illusion of separation is central here.
It's what arises in materiality, the
appearance of apparent forms. But these
are not ultimately different things.
They're all aspects of the same one
thing projected into these forms. So the
illusion of separation and scarcity, I
pointed out many times are central to
the challenges we are facing as a
civilization. I would argue that all of
our challenges are arising from those
illusions. So it would be transformative
for us to understand this and to live
our lives differently as a result. Which
is to say, like I said a few minutes
ago, you can enjoy the various forms
that the smoke takes arising from the
fire without forgetting the fact
ultimately that you are the fire. Not
only would this be transformative in
terms of how we live and how we treat
the planet, but it would also greatly
reduce human suffering and ultimately
serve as the path to human liberation.
All right, with that setup of the
overarching context, let me dive into my
experiences themselves. First of all, I
want to make some reference to my
protocol. I've talked about using the
same protocol five times now. So, what
I'm reflecting on are the revelations,
the epiphies really that have arisen
after I've used this one protocol. Now,
I want to say that this protocol is
pretty intense to say the least. I've
had numerous people reach out and ask me
for the details of the protocol so they
can try it themselves. And as many of
you probably know by now, I don't give
out the details. And that's not because
I'm trying to keep it for myself, but
rather because there are real physical
and psychological risks to using this
protocol. There are numerous aspects to
this protocol and it's how I combine
them that creates this particular
effect. But it needs to take place over
days and you have to do it very
carefully because there are actual
physical risks if you do it incorrectly.
And even if you don't suffer detrimental
physical effects, there's still major
psychological risk. I know people who've
done something similar who are never the
same afterwards. That literally has
happened. I'm aware of this happening
for some people. That said, I also want
to assure you all that I'm very cautious
about how I do this, very methodical,
and I wouldn't ultimately do it if I
didn't have high confidence of coming
out the other side intact. I have come
out the other side intact five times
now. But furthermore, I would say that
there are capacities online now similar
to what happens with people who have
near-death experiences or out-of body
experiences or particularly illuminating
contact experiences that ongoingly let
me experience even the daily waking
experience differently, accessing what
you might call data streams that weren't
available beforehand.
I also want to point out that pretty
interestingly, even the nature of the
protocol, the details of the protocol
came to me in what you might call a
download of sorts. So, in other words,
it's almost like communication from the
other side or from one of these
subsuming realms actually instigated
this entire process. And speaking of
this process or mechanism of two-way
communication, which I would describe
more like multi-dimensional
communication, I would also point out
that many times even the books that I
read, the podcasts I consume, the
articles I read, etc. are inspired by
what feels like coming across a
breadcrumb. So something arises in my
awareness to let me know that that piece
is somehow part of the puzzle. And this
is also a little bit like retracing your
steps. So many people talk about how
time itself is experienced differently
in these other modes of existence or
perception. That's very true. But I
would also point out that even physics
here points out that when you reverse
the flow of time, the physics seems to
work just as well. Mathematically, I
mean, so this begs a deep question. Are
we moving forward through time? Or are
we retracing our steps in some way? Or
is it true that both of those are just
different viewpoints of something that's
multi-dimensional and that it's only
when you cast it in certain frames that
it looks like it's linear one way or the
other. Now, speaking of this kind of
inspiration that just seems to
spontaneously arise, this also sometimes
even occurs in the sense that certain
terms will occur to me and that I'll
look up the full meaning of those terms,
the full context to understand how that
little breadcrumb is supposed to help me
understand the big picture. So, that
also happened for instance more recently
over the last few months with this term
manifold. And I've used that term a
couple times on previous podcasts. Now,
the term manifold is useful for
describing a multi-dimensional reality
because it provides a mathematically
rigorous yet conceptually flexible way
to talk about spaces that are locally
simple but globally complex, which
mirrors how multi-dimensional or
metaphysical realities often behave. So
in other words, this term manifold arose
in my awareness. And when I look up the
full meaning of it in context,
especially in context to what we're
talking about today, this basically
illuminates what might be going on here,
at least in a way that helps my brain
understand it from this human
perspective. So let's break this down a
little bit. So a manifold is a space
that locally looks like ordinary ukitian
space, but can have non-trivial global
structure. In other words, it can be
curved, folded, looped, etc. This means
you can analyze any small region as if
it were flat or familiar, even if the
overall space is curved or multi-dimensional.
multi-dimensional.
Analogously, our immediate experience
feels three-dimensional and linear,
speaking to the holographic nature I
mentioned earlier, even if the deeper
structure of reality is higher
dimensional or nonlinear.
Now this allows for the multiple
coexisting of dimensions. Manifolds
generalize the notion of space to
arbitrary numbers of dimensions. This
gives a formal language for discussing
realities with extra degrees of freedom,
spatial, temporal, energetic or consciousness-based
consciousness-based
without breaking consistency. It helps
bridge physical, mental, and
metaphysical dimensions by modeling them
as layers or coordinates within a
continuous hole. A smooth manifold
allows for continuous transformations
and differentiable changes.
That means movement, transformation, or
evolution across states can be described
smoothly rather than discreetly. This is
a powerful metaphor and model for states
of consciousness or different planes of
reality. Using tools like metric tensor
and connection, a manifold can encode
how space bends or how vectors, meaning
directions, energies, or intentions,
shift as they move through it. This is a
natural way to describe hidden
relationships between seemingly separate
domains. For example, how consciousness
might curve or fold spaceime or how
inner and outer realities interact.
Manifolds reconcile subjective local
perception, in other words, what I
observe here and now with objective
global structure. In other words, how
all regions relate as a whole. That's
directly analogous to integrating
personal experience within the larger
multi-dimensional field, the unity of
microcosm and macrocosm.
And this provides a framework for
nonlinear causality. Manifolds naturally
allow for loops, wormholes, folds, and
embeddings, structures that can model
non-locality, simultaneity, or
interpenetrating layers of causation. In
metaphysical terms, in other words, this
supports descriptions of realities
within realities or recursive levels of
being. So this term manifold that just
arose in my awareness when I looked into
it in more detail related to these
matters really helps to model what might
actually be going on here. And this very
much comports with my particular
experience using this particular protocol.
protocol.
Now, as I mentioned at the outset in the
introduction, this also has to do with
the very sense of I. How you define your
identity, how you experience your
identity in these different
interpenetrating kind of realities. And
this is something that I think bodess
real promise for the future of human
civilization if more people can expand
their understanding of themselves. Now,
speaking of that, I want to quote
something that Stannislav Grav said. He
said, quote, "Transpersonal experiences
often yield accurate information that
could not be obtained through ordinary
channels, including details of myths and
symbols of other cultures or time
periods." This sort of evidence led Jung
to propose the existence of a collective unconscious."
unconscious."
So, this points to what I'm talking
about. While these are immersively
mind-blowing experiences sensorally,
they also provide real information. And
that's what Stannislov Gra is pointing
to that supported this notion that Jung
proposed about there being a collective
unconscious that the sense of self is
actually embedded within this larger
self and that in turn is embedded within
a larger self and on it goes. That has
very much been my experience.
Now, much of this also comes down to how
you experience reality and what you use,
what tools you bring to bear to
understand reality. And this is where
nosis comes to mind. And I've mentioned
this term over a few podcasts now
because this very much comports with my
understanding. In fact, it was the
nature of that experience that made me
look into what this could possibly be
because it wasn't conceptual. Which is
to say there is a certain point at which
one must transcend the notion of reason
altogether. And here I want to quote the
Indian philosopher Shri Orurabindo. He
said quote the true knowledge of things
is denied to our reason because that is
not our spirit's greatest essential
power but only an expedient a
transitional instrument meant to deal
with the appearance of things and their
phenomenal process. True knowledge
commences only when our consciousness
can pass beyond its present normal limit
in man. For then it becomes directly
aware of itself and of the power in the
world and begins to have at least an
initial knowledge by identity which is
the sole true knowledge.
Again pointing to nosis later on I'm
going to describe some of the nuances in
Orbindo's position versus conventional
nosticism. And I think Orurbindo's
perspective better aligns with mine. And
those nuances are important to get into
to understand what this all is. In what
sense is this a matrix? In what sense is
it a ruse? Is it a trap? Is it an
accident? Is it a purposefully arising
kind of construct that is serving some
deeper purpose? We'll get into some of that.
that.
Now, I've already referenced how
spaceime is transcended in this other
mode of being. There is no passage of
time. And largely knowing arises without
even space being present which is to say
sometimes without objects forms being
present which is to say it's a kind of
knowing by identity by presence which is
what orbindo is kind of pointing to
there but something else I've
experienced in addition to the sense
that time could flow in multiple
directions or not exist at all there's
also this sense even of agency that gets
turned upside down because there are
times when I feel as if it's just as
accurate, perhaps even more accurate to
say that I am the outlet valve through
which something is being accomplished.
Agency that is arising therefore beyond
the small self as it is true that I am
moving forward in time and making
various choices. Again, I think some
people get really overwhelmed by this.
It's definitely discombobulating at
first, but over time as you expand your
notion of the self, you welcome these
kinds of shifts because they arise
within this overarching sense of a self
that is not destructible at all. And
that's because it's arising beyond the
myriad forms we see that are really just appearances.
appearances.
Now speaking of this notion of who is
projecting what to what degree are we a
projection of some higher realm some
deeper realm versus when we might think
that we are just projecting these
notions or projecting these experiences
for instance when skeptics suggest that
suggesting therefore that it's not real.
Not only is it real, because again it
arises in this much more multitudinous
understanding of reality itself, but
there's also this question of to what
degree is our reality the projection
from another mode or locus of mind. And
this brings to mind something that Jung
said. This happened in October 1958.
He's recounting a dream he had. A dream
of course that pointed to something that
was somehow real. He said, quote, "In
one dream, which I had in October 1958,
I caught sight from my house of two
lensshaped metallically gleaming discs.
They were two UFOs. Then another body
came flying towards me. It was a
perfectly circular lens like the
objective of a telescope. At a distance
of 4 or 500 yards, it stood still for a
moment and then flew off. Immediately
afterward, another came speeding through
the air, a lens with a metallic
extension, which led to a box, a magic
lantern. At a distance of 60 or 70
yards, it stood still in the air,
pointing straight at me. I awoke with a
feeling of astonishment. Still half in
the dream, the thought passed through my
head. We always think that the UFOs are
projections of ours. Now, it turns out
that we are their projections. I am
projected by the magic lantern as CG
Yung, but who manipulates the apparatus?"
apparatus?"
So, this is just to expand the territory
here to get us to think differently
about not just what all of this is, but
how the sense of eye, the sense of the
locus of identity changes the perception
and the experience of reality. And all
of those are equally true.
All right. Now, I'm going to jump into a
recounting of these five experiences.
And I want to preface this by saying
that the way that visuals work in this
kind of reality scape, this kind of
experience is quite different because
there is no fade or decay and things are
hyper real or hyperdefined everywhere
all at once. So when you are looking
through your visual field in the daily
waking experience using your usual
visual acuity you might not be aware of
this but actually wherever you are
looking that's where your eyes are
focusing and actually everything around
that which is to say the periphery is
actually blurry. You just can't tell
because you're not looking in that
direction. Of course you're looking
where you're looking and that's where
the focus is. But what's different in
these experiences is that your visual
field is hyperreal and hyperdefined in
every direction all at once. There is no
sense of a body in this kind of reality.
So you're more like the environment
itself experiencing the environment. But
it is hyperreal and it's hyperdefined no
matter where you look and you can look
everywhere at once. Now of course many
of these elements are actually difficult
to describe and this points to the fact
that language will fail us here and this
again points to how even reason will
fail us at some point. We have to
transcend it. We have to see the tools
we have brought to bear here as just
that as tools but not something that
indicates the broader reality. We have
to be willing to know when to put them
down as well as when to use them.
Now I want to reflect first on my first
journey after someone had asked me about
this when I was speaking in Denver. So
quoting from my recollection here when I
was in Denver last weekend I had a
couple of people ask me more about my
Christmas Day experience. I described it
then as waves of pure emotion washing
over me with incredible unbridled
uninterpreted intensity. I experienced
it as the substrate of physical reality
which upon return no longer felt real in
the same way. Today I came across Jeremy
Rener's accounting of his near-death
experience and a similarity struck me of
his experience. He said it was an
entirely beautiful place filled with
unknowable magic. It pulses. It floats.
It is beyond language, beyond thought,
beyond reason. a place of pure feeling.
So, I want to reflect on that a little
bit more here. And I want to bring your
attention to when you are really, really
tired. And you may have had experiences
before where you're so tired that waves
of fatigue are rolling over your body.
It literally feels like you're being
impacted by waves of energy. That is a
bit of a glimpse into what this is like.
But these are the most intense emotions.
For instance, unconditional love washes
over you so intensely that you can
barely handle it. Now this is very
interesting because in my religious
studies background I came across cases
in history where people would see
apparitions of some of these religious
figures like for instance Jesus and they
would feel so much love coming over them
that they would eventually ask Jesus or
whatever apparition is before them
whatever spirit is before them whatever
manifestation is present to please go
away. They say it kindly, but they say
it because they are so overwhelmed with
the unbridled love, the unconditional
love that is washing over them in
intense waves that they can no longer
contain it. So, it feels like it's going
to obliterate you in its intensity.
That's what this is like. It feels like
it's simultaneously killing you and
resurrecting you all in one fail swoop.
Now, in reflecting on this first
experience, many of you have since then
heard me state that two elements really
struck me on returning. One was that
this is not real like we think it is.
And number two, that there is a kind of
nefarious overlay here. I'll have more
to say about the nefarious overlay a
little bit later, so I'll save that for
now. But I definitely want to point to
the visceral sense that this is not
real. And again, I really want to make
the point as I have over time now that
this was not conceptual. This was not
putting two and two together and
determining, wait a second, this might
not be real in light of fact one, two,
and three. It's a visceral knowing. It's
a direct experiential knowing. And
that's why I started using this
reference to nosis. This is what this is
like. A kind of knowing that is arising
from the fact that we are the substrate
of reality. that we are primarily the
consciousness which is the field itself
and see you can know from that place
from that sense of identity that's what
happened when I returned it has happened
on each of these experiences that I'm
struck with that sense that this is not
real like we think it is which is not to
say necessarily that it's a ruse or a
trap or an accident even and we'll get
into some of those nuances a little bit
later let me move on to a recounting of
my second journey regarding this I said,
"Last Friday, I used the same protocol I
did on Christmas Day 2024 and once again
experienced leaving this construct
altogether. As with before, it's taking
time to make sense of slash integrate
what I became aware of, and that's an
ongoing process." The same two elements
that viscerally struck me as a kind of
nosis during my last experience were
prominent again this time around. Number
one, this is not real the way we think
it is. Number two, this construct is
more inhibiting and soulcrushing than we
realize. We have become numb to it, even
over generations, in the form of
ancestral patterning. That said, it
remains evident to me that only our
avatars dwell here and that the way out,
quote unquote, is via integration and
realization. And I'm all the more
convinced that radical transparency
illuminates that path of liberation.
I'll have more to say about this over
time. And there are new capacities
online now, but I thought I'd start here.
here.
So this was again very very visceral.
And I want to say that when I returned
this time and I referred to this notion
of this being inhibiting and soul
crushing, I really mean that I saw this
reality basically as a kind of
hellscape. Now, the reason why many
people perhaps don't see it that way is
because perhaps they don't have the
relevant context to know what this might
compare to. But when you've been in some
of these other realms, these other kinds
of reality scapes, you see how connected
they are, how love is so apparent, how
separation is not something that people
or beings actually encounter or
experience. And again, it's because of
the illusion of separation, the degree
of the separation here, that it turns
into a hellscape because it's like a
body that's suffering from an autoimmune
disorder to a massive degree where we
are attacking each other, competing with
each other, raping the planet of
resources, if you will, because we think
these things are all separate. And in
the case of the Earth, that it's this
inadimate, inert kind of thing. It's
not, and we're not separate, and
scarcity doesn't really exist. But when
you believe it does, it inevitably
produces actions that turn this into a
hellscape. And in light of these other
experiences, that is what this felt like
to me.
Now, another recollection that I shared
was that another aspect of my recent
experience outside the construct was
perceiving precise, intensely saturated,
artificial geometric patterns
undergirling the waking realitycape.
I've seen these on numerous occasions.
Actually, if reality were purely
material, there's no clear reason why
experiences would reveal these
meticulously granular crystalline
geometric data structures. If this
reality is simulation-like, however, it
makes sense because what's seen as the
math behind the render from a non-dual
perspective, rather than seeing this as
a glitch in an external simulation, it's
seen as a glimpse into the structured
way consciousness, which is understood
to be primary, organizes phenomena. So
that is another key aspect of this that
you do see these crystalline geometric
data structures. But in my perspective
as well as the perspective going back
thousands of years in these ancient
wisdom traditions that is not pointing
to some alien mainframe simulation. It's
pointing to the fact that this is how
consciousness manifests the forms. It
uses these deeper structures to paint
upon the canvas if you will in 3D or
more dimensions. This is reflected for
instance in the fractals that we see
appearing in nature again and again and
again at different scales.
Right? Let me move on now to my third
journey and a recollection from that
experience. I said something else to
share from a recent journey outside the
construct. third time using the
protocol. Knowing arises within and as
part of an infinitely vast yet
intimately immediate connective field.
From within this field, profound
implications about reality present
themselves, but they tend to slide in
sideways from a boundless periphery,
almost as an afterthought, though there
is no time. In that expanded state of
being, such realizations dawn as just
the way things are. One such sideways
awareness was the knowing as nosis that
the waking state experience of this
fundamentally elucory world is just one
among quadrillions.
In that experience, even the granularly
particular reasons for the specific
instantiation were accessible, related
in part to the structure of human
physiology. But afterward, overthinking
tends to make it slip away. The only way
to hold it is to not really hold it at
all, to take it in stride as a totality.
Wide gaze, soft focus. And then I added,
I'm going to take a break from using the
protocol for a while as this instance
proved the most difficult in terms of
coming back. My body brain had real
difficulty recalibrating to space time
this time. Doing things sequentially as
we do here makes no sense from that
other way of being, which makes ordering
your actions as we do here discombobulating.
discombobulating.
In other words, you end up trying to do
multiple things simultaneously with
bizarre and fruitless results. Such
lingering effects lasted for days. All
clear. Now, now I want to give a
specific example of what I'm referring
to here. And I've told a couple people
about this. After coming back, you mix
up the order of things. And sometimes
what you end up doing is trying to do
two things at the same time with
multiple arms that you do not have. And
again, someone pointed out to me that
this perhaps points to these deities or
these other kinds of beings referenced
for instance in Vadic philosophy that
had multiple arms and were able to do
things simultaneously with those various
arms. This may be a depiction in 3D of
what this is like. So some sort of
translation with errors, but that points
to this. And what this meant for me, for
instance, was at one point I knew I
needed to read a book. So, I needed to
put on my glasses and I wanted to drink
some coffee. What I proceeded to do was
pour coffee in my eyes. I kid you not,
that's what I literally did because this
all arises simultaneously. It doesn't
occur to you to stretch it out one after
another in sequential fashion.
All right, let me now move on to the
fourth journey. One of the most
startling and unexpected consequences of
my recent experience outside the
construct is that upon returning, I've
discovered additional data available
from events of my past. In other words,
when I reflect on a memory now, there's
information there that wasn't available
previously. Sometimes including a
shocking degree of emotional intensity
that has to do with the hellscape I
referenced earlier. It feels as if a
filter has been lifted. And this applies
across an untold number of past events.
I'm still uncovering them. In fact, I
would add now that all my memories are
now accessing this deeper reality, this
additional field or stream of information.
information.
It is akin to what people call the veil
of forgetting, a partition established
upon entering incarnation being
partially removed. It makes one look at
this entire experience very differently.
So what I'm speaking to here is the fact
that now when I reflect on these
different moments in my past, there's a
witnessing perspective available. I've
described this like you might think that
you're on a train moving through the
countryside. But the witnessing
perspective is like someone standing at
the platform as the train cars go by. So
you see it, but you experience yourself
as watching it, as the observer. So that
perspective is available to me now for
all of my memories. In other words, I
can take on the perspective of that
witness that was witnessed to all of
those moments of my life. And I also
experience it though with this greater
multi-dimensional kind of understanding
of these different reality scapes which
makes some of these experiences feel
pretty horrific in retrospect because
again we live in a kind of hellscape in
comparison to those which isn't to say
it's not purposeful. again. We'll get to
that a little bit later. But let me now
move on to a recounting of my fifth
journey, which was a few weeks ago now.
Yesterday marked the fifth time I've
used my protocol to exit the construct.
Each time I do this, I experience the
visceral shock of this all being
virtual. Of course, that's true of all manifestation.
manifestation.
Still, each time I do this, it's like an
ice water plunge when you first exit and
re-enter. A key revelation this time
involves seeing how human emotion is
being gamed by overarching middle tier
emanations of consciousness. The process
is ongoingly being fine-tuned like when
a meth dealer's process chemist works to
produce better product.
Every time we resonate at a certain
lower frequency via lust, judgment,
jealousy, hate, rage, etc., We end up
adding to a kind of broadband stream
that is being consumed by these
overarching manifestations. They both
work the system and consume the product
like dealer and junkie wrapped up in
one. Social media and AI is
exponentially increasing the yield for
them. There's more to come, but I'll
finish this post by invoking the
well-worn adage, buyer beware. What you
engage with practically and
energetically has implications far
beyond you. Of course, the concept of
you is the real kicker here. I'll have
more to say on this over time. Now, I've
already talked a little bit about how
this sense of you expands and is to some
degree determined by the nature of the
context, which part you are focusing in
on. So, this sense of you arises from
the locus of attention. And with your
thoughts, your intention alone, you can
navigate, you can traverse within this
multi-dimensional manifold. And wherever
you end up or zoom in on where travel is
instantaneous, of course, you not only
experience reality at that level within
that dimensional frame, but you also
have a sense of self that's related to
that. And that goes all the way up and
all the way down. And I'll talk a little
bit about a really profound revelation
that occurred as a result of this understanding.
understanding.
But I also want to point out that I
talked here about these beings that are
gaming the system, who are not only
consuming the negative energy that human
beings put out based on negative
emotions, but they are actually
fine-tuning things so as to exacerbate
that result. Now very very interestingly
after having this experience I looked
into some other traditions and how they
might speak to this and I found several
that do speak to this. Now I was aware
of one already and that is Bob Monroe's
notion of luch in his perspective. Luch
is a kind of emotional or life force
energy generated through the experiences
of sentient beings especially through
intense emotions like love, fear, pain,
joy or conflict. And this is where the
farming kind of allegory came in because
Monroe describes a metaphorical being, a
farmer who cultivates worlds and life
forms to produce luch as a human farmer
cultivates crops. In this story, Earth
is depicted as one such farm designed to
yield loose through the struggles and
growth of living beings. Now, I would
say on the one hand, this is true. This
is happening that some of what's arising
here is for the purpose of these beings,
these entities consuming this negative
energy. There are others that consume
some of the higher consciousness energy.
But the point here is that we are not
just reduced to being farm animals.
Therefore, because the point here is
that our identity is determined by the
locus of our attention. So in that
sense, when we tune into ultimate
source, we can experience ourselves as
that, even have memories from that
perspective, which I'll share a little
bit later. But in addition to Bob Monroe
and his notion of luch, Carlos Castanada
has also talked about this. He talked
about these beings called flyers. He
sees them as non-human predatory beings
that feed on human consciousness,
particularly emotional energy. He
described them as inorganic predators.
And Don Juan tells Castanada that
humanity is not at the top of the food
chain. The flyers are higher on it. They
are described as dark shadow-like
entities that hover in the air and fly,
hence their name. They are energy
feeders that consume human awareness,
leaving people with just enough
consciousness to live and reproduce,
ensuring their food supply continues.
These are non-physical beings. According
to Castanada,
though they can be perceived directly in
heightened states of awareness like what
I perceived, they aren't material
organisms, but energetic or
multi-dimensional parasites.
So I did experience these beings and
they are referenced in different
traditions and different people's
perspectives and these non-ordinary
experiences. But again the key is not to
reduce yourself to being just a farm
animal but to recognize that you are
choosing to incarnate here to take this
perspective this particular
incarnational frame of existence so as
to provide yourself with certain
catalysts for spiritual growth. But
simultaneously, what you do and what you
produce here energetically is consumed
by these other beings. This is a kind of
multi-dimensional symbiosis that works.
We see this happening when there's
roadkill and vultures pick that up or
eventually when maggots form and
dissolve the remaining product on the
road, what's left of that animal. This
also happens between dimensions. This is
something I've mentioned before. Actions
we take, even thoughts we entertain
here, impact these other realities. and
vice versa is also true. Now I already
mentioned that in trying to find
examples of this after coming back and
having this experience I found numerous
people who reference these kinds of
beings. This is also true of Sri
Orurabindo who I mentioned earlier. For
those who don't know he was an Indian
philosopher, yogi and poet who became
one of the most influential spiritual
figures of the 20th century. His work
bridged politics, philosophy, mysticism
and human evolution. So he very much
spoke from the point of view of the
ultimate spiritual energetic reality.
But he also talked about the nuts and
bolts if you will of evolution and how
you bridge those two. So he was a big
influence on me though I had never read
him specifically talking about these
kinds of beings. But then I came across
this notion. So he acknowledged that
material existence as we experience it
is not the full or true expression of
divine reality but a distorted limited
and unconscious form. While he did not
frame this distortion in the same
dualistic or adversarial terms found in
Gnostic or certain occult traditions
where higher beings may deliberately
trap souls for instance. He did
recognize forces and beings, hostile
powers that oppose evolution and work to
keep consciousness limited. But there's
a key here in the nuance. So, we really
want to get into this because I find
that people are too cookie cutter, too
one-dimensional in the way they
understand this vast symbiosis between
dimensions of reality. So, according to
Oruraindo, matter is a veil of the
divine. Matter is not evil, but it is
the most densely unconscious form of the
divine. It represents a maximum of
division and forgetfulness where the one
has hidden itself the most. Thus, life
in matter feels alienated, painful, and
bound even though it is ultimately
divine in essence. Now, regarding these
hostile powers and adverse forces,
Orurabindo did believe in suprahysical
beings, some of whom are hostile to
human evolution. These forces work
through the vital and mental plains to
keep human consciousness trapped in
ignorance, ego, and suffering. He and
the mother described them as beings who
feed on fear, division, lust or pride
and who resist the descent of higher
supermental consciousness.
The original distortion according to him
arises not from malevolent creators but
from the process of involution where
divine consciousness separates itself
into fragmented forms. This cosmic
separation creates the basis for
suffering, death, ignorance, and ego.
The resistance to integration is
compounded by forces that benefit from
fragmentation akin to osuric or titan
forces in Indian cosmology.
The key though is that this is not about
dualistic evil, but evolutionary
opposition, resistance training that
I've referred to before. Unlike
nasticism which posits an evil demi urge
orbindo emphasized opposition as a
necessity within the evolutionary play,
adverse forces challenge the soul,
forcing growth and awakening through
struggle and therefore their existence
serves an evolutionary role even as they
distort truth. So this is key and he
aimed not to escape matter but to
transform it redeeming the distortion by
bringing the supermental light as he
called it into it so that even physical
existence may one day express truth consciousness.
consciousness.
Now before we bring this episode to a
close I want to reflect on a couple more
really bizarre elements of these
experiences that were incredibly
profound and transformative.
As I mentioned earlier, what I have
found is that when you zoom in into one
aspect of reality, which all arose in my
awareness as one massive golden radiant
superructure with incredibly granular
detail in every direction you looked and
you're looking in all directions
simultaneously. Again, language breaks
down here. This is not like human
perception. But as I with my intention
would zoom in on a certain aspect, a new
reality scape, a new reality would
emerge in my awareness and my awareness
of my own self, my self-identity would
be determined to some degree by that
locus of attention. And so what that
meant was I could go to the ultimate
level or the near ultimate level where
source is now manifesting various forms
and experience myself as one of the
architects or as an aspect of the
architect. Remembering for instance when
I switched a light switch on one time
that I recalled what it was like when we
chose light as a distinction within form
to create this manifest reality. I
literally remembered being part of that
architectural process of choosing light
as a form within this one consciousness.
That was really really profound. Another
experience I had recently speaks to the
way that now memory from these other
loai can flow into my awareness that are
arising not from this context. So in
other words, memories that are arising
from previous lives, other kinds of
incarnations, but also completely
different spheres of being, if you will,
or arising from different layers within
this unfolding consciousness
architecture. For instance, one time, as
I've shared with some people, I was
driving along and at a stoplight, I
turned and looked to the side and saw
the sun shining upon this reed arising
from this pond. And it was that
beautiful golden light that you get in
the fall. And the way that it was moving
through and illuminating this reed made
me reflect out loud, ah yes, that's how
it is on the other side. Meaning in this
more subtle but ultimately real level of
reality, a kind of paradisal realm that
people might refer to as heaven. So
seeing that brought to mind this memory,
a memory that was not arising from this
particular construct or any of my
decades of experience here.
And this points to what I was saying
earlier that our usual default waking
state offers up a certain kind of
experience of reality. But when we can
remove the partitions, make them more
porous, even we were able to not only
experience but remember other realms of
existence where even our selfidentity
changes, becomes much more expansive,
which of course does away with all fear
arising from the illusion of separation.
And this is all to say that we want to
turn within. And if we can do that, we
will transform not only our own
experience but perhaps even as a
consequence the very structure of our civilization.
civilization.
And on that note, I want to finish with
a quote from Carl Jung again when he
said, "Your vision will become clear
only when you can look into your own
heart. Without everything seems
discordant only within does it coalesce
into unity. He who looks outside dreams.
