0:03 If you're a florist that runs a business
0:05 and you are tired of working your butt
0:07 off, you've tried everything that you
0:08 can think of, but you're still not yet
0:11 at the point where you can pay yourself
0:14 a decent, healthy living salary, this is
0:16 the video for you. I'm going to walk you
0:20 through step by step how to use AI to
0:22 map out a new business plan so that you
0:24 can set yourself up for success, but
0:26 most importantly, run a profitable,
0:29 thriving florist business. One where you
0:32 actually earn a living wage. One where
0:34 you can start to pay off your home loan.
0:35 One where you feel like you actually
0:37 have enough money to buy yourself new
0:38 socks and underwear. No more spinning
0:41 your wheels. No more scrolling Instagram
0:43 for inspiration. No more giving away
0:45 your work. No more throwing spaghetti at
0:47 the wall hoping the next thing sticks.
0:49 I've got you covered. Oh yeah, and we're
0:51 also going to talk about no more
0:54 undercharging because my clients know
0:57 that the way we get to use AI in our
1:00 business is very different to how most
1:01 people are using AI. And we're going to
1:03 walk you through everything step by
1:05 step. So if you're a florist on a
1:07 mission to make money, be successful,
1:09 and thrive doing the work that you love.
1:11 I want you to use this as your sign, as
1:14 your permission slip, as your
1:17 opportunity to hit Ctrl Altdelete. Let
1:19 this be the refreshing breath of fresh
1:20 air that you didn't know that you needed
1:22 in order for you to elevate your
1:24 approach and in order for you to
1:26 actually make money doing the work that
1:28 you love. And if you're brand new here,
1:30 hi. My name is Kathleen and I help
1:32 floral designers build profitable
1:35 businesses, make money, and actually be
1:38 successful doing the work that you love.
1:39 And in this little corner of the
1:41 internet, we don't have secrets. We
1:43 don't keep things hush hush. We talk
1:46 about strategies and tactics and game
1:48 plans and mindset shifts that actually
1:51 help you be successful. And I truly
1:54 believe that chat GPT can be one of your
1:58 absolute secret weapons, particularly
2:01 when you use it in a different and much
2:03 more strategic way. And I'm going to go
2:05 through this example. I'm going to show
2:07 you my exact prompts. And I'm actually
2:09 going to do this using the free version
2:12 of chat GPT in an incognito window
2:15 because my goal is to like truly level
2:17 set and make this as accessible for you
2:21 as possible. So if you are a chat GPT
2:23 super user, this is going to be super
2:25 helpful. But also if you are brand new
2:27 to using chat GPT or you've like dabbled
2:29 in it a little bit but you're like I
2:30 don't really understand what the hype
2:33 is. This really is a tool that you get
2:36 to use in your business to help you get
2:39 more focused, make more money, and help
2:42 you feel more confident as a business
2:44 owner. And you guys that have been in my
2:46 world for a while, you know that I don't
2:48 do things normally. I do things, in
2:50 fact, very differently to how other
2:52 people do things. And that includes how
2:56 I use AI as a business owner. So, we're
2:58 going to take my three-step framework,
3:00 my money marketing, and mindset
3:02 framework, and we're going to use Chat
3:05 GPT to help you come up with a whole new
3:07 business plan so that you can start
3:08 making more money and actually pay
3:11 yourself a living salary. So, we're
3:13 going to talk about your next revenue
3:15 goal and exactly how much money your
3:17 business needs to bring in in order for
3:20 you to pay yourself. Then we're going to
3:22 create a new marketing plan that's going
3:24 to get you in front of your dream
3:27 clients and make sales so much simpler.
3:28 And then, and this is probably my
3:30 favorite part, I'm going to give you the
3:33 prompts that you can use so that you can
3:37 use ChatGpt as a coach. overcoming the
3:40 fears and the doubts and the very normal
3:43 human insecurities that we all have and
3:46 that rise to the surface very quickly
3:48 when you run a business. Because that's
3:49 the biggest difference between you
3:50 having a business and running your own
3:52 business and you working for somebody
3:54 else is you are confronted with your
3:56 limiting beliefs, your self-doubt, your
3:59 insecurities, and I will also say your
4:02 own trauma comes to the surface. But
4:04 this is one of the ways that I love
4:06 using chat GPT as a business owner
4:08 because I am also a human being with a
4:11 human brain that is programmed to keep
4:14 you safe. And that always means it's
4:17 going to find a problem in every idea
4:19 that you've ever had. It's going to want
4:22 to keep you from not doing the big bold
4:24 brave thing that you know that you need
4:26 to do in your business. And it truly is
4:28 like the biggest obstacle to your
4:32 success. So, I love using chat GPT for
4:34 these coaching sessions. So, I thought,
4:35 hey, it might be helpful if I walk you
4:36 through the whole framework and I'm
4:38 going to show you on screen so that you
4:41 can screenshot these exact prompts, try
4:43 it out yourself, and just have fun with
4:46 this because my goal is to have you
4:48 walking away from today with total
4:51 clarity and more confidence in terms of
4:52 exactly what you need to do to make
4:55 money in your business. So, first off,
4:57 let's talk about money. And the biggest
5:00 reason that you don't have enough cash
5:02 in the bank in your business right now
5:05 is because your revenue goal isn't big
5:07 enough or you're probably like most
5:09 floors and you don't even actually have
5:11 a revenue goal. But when you run a
5:13 business, setting a revenue goal is
5:16 going to be the key to you being clear
5:18 on the next steps that you need to take
5:20 in your business. And most florists are
5:22 just walking around hoping and praying
5:25 that things work themselves out instead
5:28 of having a very clear actionable plan.
5:30 So with this first prompt, we're going
5:33 to get very specific. And there's two
5:35 things that you need to decide before
5:38 you jump onto chat GPT. And the first
5:41 one is what your personal income goal
5:43 is. So how much money do you want to pay
5:46 yourself over the course of a year from
5:48 your business? Once you know that
5:50 number, then you're going to actually
5:51 multiply that number by five because
5:53 that's going to become your business's
5:56 revenue target. The second thing that
5:58 you're going to decide is what you want
6:00 your primary service to be, what you
6:03 want that number one offer to be, or you
6:05 might hear it be referenced as what you
6:08 want your niche to be. I will always say
6:10 if you want to get results faster, focus
6:13 on one niche first. master that
6:16 marketing and sales plan and then build
6:18 on it as you go. So, let's jump into
6:20 chat GPT. And as I said before, we're
6:22 going to use an incognito window so that
6:24 it has no evidence of anything I've ever
6:27 done on my chat GPT profile in the past.
6:28 And again, we're also just going to use
6:31 the free version of chat GPT to make
6:32 this happen. So, the very first prompt
6:35 that we're going to put into chat GPT
6:38 says, I'm a florist who wants to create
6:41 a profitable business plan. I want to
6:43 earn. Then you're going to insert your
6:47 own personal salary goal per year as my
6:49 personal salary. Please help me with the
6:51 following. Number one, calculate my
6:53 business's revenue goal. So that's going
6:56 to be your personal salary times 5.
6:58 Number two, I want to focus in on insert
7:02 the niche that you want to master first.
7:05 Number three, my average order value for
7:08 this niche will be, and this is where I
7:11 want you to take a hypothetical guess.
7:14 Number four, calculate how many orders I
7:17 need per month and per year to hit my
7:19 revenue goal. And then number five,
7:23 break this down into weekly targets so
7:25 that I can track my progress. and you're
7:27 going to end the prompt with, "Please
7:29 show me the math clearly and give me
7:32 actionable next steps for reaching these
7:34 numbers." So, let's circle back and I'm
7:36 going to fill in the blanks based on a
7:38 hypothetical situation. So, please
7:40 adjust this based on your personal goal
7:42 and your vision within your own
7:43 business, but I just want to go through
7:46 a very real example with you to show you
7:48 how helpful this one prompt is. So, I'm
7:50 a florist who wants to create a
7:52 profitable business plan. I want to earn
7:54 I'm going to say $60,000
7:57 per year as my personal salary. So
7:59 that's how much you want as your income
8:01 as a business owner. Now, please help me
8:03 with the following. So number one, we
8:05 don't have to do anything. Number two, I
8:08 want to focus on I'm going to say daily
8:11 flower deliveries online orders. You're
8:13 going to edit that based on what your
8:15 personal preference is in your business.
8:17 Number three, my average order value for
8:21 this niche will be, and I'm going to say
8:23 165. So, just for those of you following
8:25 along, and the little detail at home is
8:28 going to be $150 plus delivery. So, 165.
8:30 Calculate how many orders I need per
8:32 month and per year to hit my revenue
8:33 goal. And then five, break this down
8:35 into weekly targets so I can track my
8:37 progress. Okay, now I'm going to hit
8:39 enter. This is so exciting. So, it's
8:40 going to come back and it's going to
8:43 start to break down this plan for me.
8:45 And this is such a funner way to plan
8:47 out for your business than the way that
8:48 we used to do it in corporate when we
8:49 used to sit around and do all those
8:51 PowerPoint presentations and it used to
8:53 sit on the shelf in a binder for decades
8:54 and you would just keep coming back year
8:56 after year after year only for it to be
8:59 forgotten. Okay, so we now have our
9:01 results from Chat GPT. Absolutely. Let's
9:03 build your business revenue goal step by
9:06 step and make it actionable. One, set
9:08 your revenue goal. So you want a $60,000
9:11 salary. You're multiplying it by five to
9:13 cover, and this is what's so helpful,
9:14 your salary, cost of goods sold,
9:16 operating expenses, marketing, profit
9:18 margin. So, it's taken $60,000,
9:20 multiplied it by five, and it's going to
9:22 give you a beautiful number of $300,000
9:26 as your business annual revenue target.
9:28 Step two, the key details. Your average
9:30 order value is 165. The revenue target
9:33 is $300,000 a year. How many orders do
9:35 we need in order to hit that goal? And
9:37 this is step three, orders per year.
9:39 It's doing the math for you. This is
9:41 what's so fun is we can now be business
9:43 owners and we don't even have to be good
9:46 at math. $300,000 as our annual revenue
9:50 target divided by 165 equals 1,819
9:54 orders per year. I can only imagine if
9:56 Kathleen from more than a decade ago had
9:59 had access to chat GPT, I would have
10:01 saved myself so much frustration because
10:04 do you know how small and tiny and itty
10:06 bitty I used to think as a business
10:08 owner? Not anymore, my friends. This is
10:10 going to truly expand your thinking. So,
10:14 1,819 orders per year gives you an
10:17 average of 152 orders per month or 35
10:20 orders per week. Now, how helpful is it
10:22 for you to know that that's the volume
10:25 that you need to focus on if you want to
10:28 earn a personal salary of $60,000 a
10:31 year? So helpful. Then it gives you a
10:33 summary of all of that math. And this
10:36 part is so good, man. Like truly, this
10:38 is so revolutionary and this is also
10:40 just like a first step because we're
10:42 going to go into step two with like a
10:43 way better way to approach your
10:44 marketing plan. But the first thing it
10:47 does, understand your conversion funnel.
10:49 So that's fancy language for your
10:51 marketing and sales process. So let's
10:54 say your website converts 2% of visitors
10:56 into buyers. So that means two people
10:58 out of a 100 people that land on your
10:59 website are going to purchase from you,
11:02 which is a pretty good conversion rate.
11:04 in order for you to hit that 35 orders
11:06 per week. That means that you need to
11:09 generate 1,750 visits to your website.
11:11 The actions that you get to take. So,
11:12 you're going to track your site traffic
11:13 and improve your conversion rate with
11:15 clear product photos, streamline
11:16 checkout, local delivery guarantees,
11:19 customer testimonials. Seriously, I
11:21 still produce the machine. Oh my god,
11:23 it's so good. Okay. Marketing plan to
11:24 hit your traffic goals. Now, I want you
11:25 to take this all with a grain of salt
11:26 cuz we're going to go a little bit
11:28 deeper in the next prompt. But in order
11:31 for you to get that 1,750 visitors to
11:34 your website, consider things like
11:36 Google Ads, local SEO, Instagram,
11:38 Facebook ads, email marketing,
11:39 partnering with local businesses, set a
11:42 weekly marketing budget of 10 to 15% of
11:43 your revenue target, and test your
11:44 channels. Now, we're going to circle
11:47 back on this in prompt number two, but
11:48 this just gives you a really good
11:52 understanding of some ideas that you
11:54 could experiment with in your business.
11:55 Now, number three, plan for peak
11:57 seasons. You're going to get more orders
11:59 on Valentine's Day, Mother's Day,
12:01 Christmas, local holidays. Action. Use
12:02 these peak seasons to exceed your
12:04 targets and balance out the slower
12:07 months. My god, the machine is so smart.
12:09 Number four, improve your average order
12:12 value. You've already said $165, which
12:14 is strong, but you can upsell with
12:17 add-ons. So, voses, cards, chocolates,
12:19 wine. I'm going to add in offer premium
12:22 delivery spots. Love that idea. Create
12:23 deluxe or signature arrangements.
12:26 Action. Test bundles and highlight them
12:28 online. Track and adjust weekly. So, use
12:30 a spreadsheet or a dashboard with And it
12:32 literally gives you the layout. This is
12:34 like Christmas for Kathleen. This is so
12:36 fun. So, it's going to give you the
12:38 week, order goal, actual orders
12:41 received, revenue goal, revenue actual,
12:43 and your notes. Talk about being able to
12:44 apply the scientific method to your
12:48 business. Oh my gosh, this is so good.
12:50 So, that is the result of prompt number
12:53 one. Can we just talk about how clear it
12:55 feels because a you've made some
12:57 decisions ahead of time. So, you know
12:58 your revenue goal because you know your
13:00 personal salary and you've picked your
13:03 one niche. So, now the whole math is
13:05 clear, right? you have a very clear
13:07 plan. You could copy it into a Google
13:08 doc and you could label it new business
13:10 plan and you know what you're working
13:12 towards and the box that you're playing
13:15 in feels so much clearer. But knowing
13:17 your numbers doesn't mean much if you
13:20 don't know who the good customers are.
13:22 Which brings us to step number two and
13:24 let's talk about marketing. And if
13:25 you've been in my world for a while then
13:27 you know that the marketing game has
13:29 changed radically in the last few years
13:32 for florists. And when it comes to
13:34 getting noticed by the good customers,
13:35 when it comes to getting ahead of the
13:37 competition, when it comes to increasing
13:39 your lead flow, getting high value
13:41 orders, and streamlining your sales
13:43 process, that the game is being played
13:46 online. Now, the smart florists know,
13:48 the profitable florists know that being
13:49 in charge of your own website is an
13:52 absolute must. But in addition to that,
13:53 mapping out a very clear online
13:55 marketing plan is going to be the
13:57 fastest way for you to get more orders,
13:58 increase your profitability, and make
14:00 more money. And that is true for floral
14:02 subscriptions, weddings and events,
14:05 funerals, daily flower deliveries,
14:07 workshops. So this is one of those
14:08 things where I want you to kind of just
14:11 softly and subtly throw away your
14:13 current marketing plan because I want to
14:14 give you permission to hit control
14:16 altdelete. And now that you've done step
14:17 number one because you will have taken
14:19 prompt number one and you will have
14:20 applied it into chatg and now you're
14:22 like Kathleen I just want my marketing
14:23 plan. Okay. Okay. The thing I want you
14:25 to remember is that we get to build our
14:28 florist businesses on the concept of new
14:31 day, new customer. Cuz every new day
14:32 there's a new baby being born. Every new
14:34 day somebody's just about to start
14:36 planning their wedding. Every new day
14:37 somebody needs to organize flowers for a
14:39 funeral. Every new day somebody's like,
14:41 "Oh my god, today's the day I want to
14:43 have flowers in my office for my
14:45 workspace." So you get to build your
14:47 entire marketing plan off of that
14:50 framework. Then it's always going to be
14:52 about tweaking and refining. And this is
14:54 one of those areas where I want you to
14:56 have a little bit of fun and I want you
14:58 to also trust your intuition because
15:00 you've picked your niche or the number
15:01 one service that you're going to offer
15:03 in your business. But then I want you to
15:05 put in the time and effort to really
15:08 craft a very clear vision of who your
15:12 dream customer is. Do not rush this step
15:15 because this is where the power and the
15:17 insights of being able to tap into AI is
15:19 going to change the game for you and
15:20 your business because what you're going
15:23 to do next is give chat GPT a very
15:26 detailed outline of who your dream
15:28 client is. And then I want you to put
15:31 any assumptions, any hypothesis in there
15:34 about how they are going to go about
15:36 looking for a florist. Then we're going
15:38 to get chat GBT to map out the whole
15:41 marketing plan for you. So, let me show
15:45 you this in action. So, we have prompt
15:48 number two here, which says, I'm a
15:49 florist targeting. And then you'll see
15:51 the brackets. And this is where I want
15:54 you to actually input the detailed
15:56 description of who your ideal client is.
15:59 And when I say detailed description, I
16:02 don't mean brides or I don't mean people
16:05 looking for a florist. And I don't mean
16:08 women age 35. I'm going to show you a
16:10 specific example so that you know how
16:12 much detail I want you to go into
16:14 because one of the secrets to using AI
16:17 is the whole garbage in garbage out. So
16:19 the more specific you can be with your
16:22 inputs, the more detail you can provide
16:24 the machine, the better learning it's
16:27 going to be able to provide for you. So
16:28 if you've ever tried playing around with
16:30 chat GPT before and you're like, "Well,
16:32 it just keeps giving me garbage." it's
16:34 just because you're not giving it enough
16:36 information to give you a very
16:38 insightful response. After you describe
16:41 who your ideal client is, then you're
16:44 going to type in your hypothesis around
16:47 how that one person is going to look for
16:49 a florist. And again, I'll go through a
16:52 very detailed example here. Then the
16:53 prompt is going to end with, "Please
16:55 create a three-part marketing plan that
16:57 focuses exclusively on attracting
16:59 premium clients who can afford higher
17:01 prices. I want to use the new day, new
17:03 customer approach, meaning consistent
17:04 daily actions that bring in new
17:07 prospects. Please include one, where to
17:10 focus my marketing efforts online. Two,
17:11 what type of messaging will attract
17:12 premium clients and help me get ahead of
17:14 the competition? Three, specific daily
17:18 or weekly actions that I can use. Make
17:20 this actionable and focused. No generic
17:21 advice. I want to stand out from the
17:23 other floors and be seen as the premium
17:25 option. So, we're going to go in. and
17:26 I'm going to fill in the blank in terms
17:28 of who my dream customer is and what my
17:31 hypothesis is around how that person is
17:33 going to be finding a florist. Now, I
17:35 want you to go in and I want you to edit
17:37 this like fill-in- thelank section based
17:39 on who your dream client is. Cuz my
17:40 dream client and your dream client
17:42 aren't going to be the same people. And
17:44 then I want you to use your own
17:45 imagination in terms of what that
17:48 hypothesis might look like. So, I'm
17:50 going to say I'm a florist targeting
17:54 people who live outside my area and want
17:58 to send flowers to someone in my local
18:01 delivery footprint. They probably live
18:04 across the country in a bigger city.
18:08 They have a household income of 150 to
18:13 200k. They are busy. Have two kids, a
18:16 new puppy. Mom is into yoga. Dad plays
18:20 golf. He works from home. She runs her
18:25 own PR firm. They value convenience,
18:28 quality, and expertise. My ideal client
18:30 is likely looking for a florist by let's
18:35 say either jumping on Google and typing
18:37 in florist in you can change this to
18:41 your city or she's
18:44 jumping on Instagram and using the
18:48 search bar typing in florist your city
18:51 and just for clarity sake when I type in
18:52 your city on here like when I write that
18:54 out I want you to replace it with your
18:56 city so florist Chicago florest
18:58 Melbourne Florest London, Florest
19:00 Cambridge, Florest Philadelphia. So
19:03 again, take your time with this prompt
19:04 because the more detail that you can
19:06 provide chat GPT, the better the
19:08 outcome's going to be. But I'm going to
19:10 leave it at that and we're going to see
19:13 what comes out the other side. Okay,
19:14 you're targeting premium busy
19:16 professionals with high expectations and
19:18 disposable income who are not local but
19:20 want to send flowers locally. This is a
19:22 powerful niche and your new day, new
19:23 customer mindset is perfect. See,
19:25 validation from the machine. How good is
19:27 that? Let's build a three-part marketing
19:28 plan that helps you attract these
19:31 high-end non-local buyers consistently
19:34 every single day. So, Google, local
19:36 search, SEO, and it does it gives you
19:39 like such a specific action plan to
19:41 follow. Then, we can jump into messaging
19:43 that attracts premium clients. And it
19:45 literally is broken it down for you into
19:47 a chart that you can copy and paste.
19:48 This is what's so good. You're not just
19:50 selling flowers. You're selling emotion,
19:53 expertise, and convenience. and it's
19:54 broken it down for you into the key
19:57 stages of the sales process. So the
19:58 emotion that we're creating with our
20:00 clients is establishing trust. We're
20:02 going to use valuedriven language like
20:04 handled by a floral expert, not a
20:06 warehouse. So example messaging might be
20:08 every bouquet is designed by me, not
20:10 mass- prodduced. When it comes to
20:12 reinforcing the message around ease, we
20:14 make it effortless to send flowers
20:16 beautifully. So you could actually say
20:17 on your website, and this is a powerful
20:19 headline, place the order, we'll do the
20:22 rest. Number three, building connection.
20:25 make her feel seen even from across the
20:27 country. So, flowers that say everything
20:30 you can't from 2,000 miles away. Oh my
20:31 god, it's so good. Number four,
20:33 reinforcing the message around
20:35 premiumness. Only the freshest stems, no
20:37 filler. Our average bouquet features
20:40 over 20 premium stems hand selected for
20:43 your occasion. Talk about reinforcing
20:45 premium quality expertise. You will also
20:47 notice that these are not messages that
20:50 you see many other florists share about
20:52 on their website. So, if you have that
20:53 little voice in the back of your head
20:54 that says, "I want to get ahead of the
20:57 competition." This, my friends, this is
20:59 going to be the secret to your success.
21:01 Then, it breaks it down for you into
21:04 weekly and daily actions. And it even
21:06 gives you, like, how good is this? It
21:09 even gives you a specific action plan
21:11 for things that you can do daily, three
21:13 times a week, weekly, and then monthly.
21:15 So, actions that are on this list
21:17 include things like posting to
21:20 Instagram, uploading photos to Google My
21:22 Business, responding to comments, DMs,
21:24 and reviews, commenting on other
21:27 people's Instagram posts, launching an
21:29 email sequence, recording behind the
21:31 scenes or a client story, reviewing
21:34 Google Ads performance. Now, some of
21:35 these things I will say you don't need
21:37 to worry about, but talk about having
21:39 like a very clear action plan and
21:41 busting through the overwhelm and
21:43 confusion. And then three things that it
21:45 tells you like pro tips to truly stand
21:47 out. Premium pricing page on your
21:49 website. Like this is so good. Show your
21:52 average order value intentionally. So
21:54 most clients invest $150 to $250 for
21:56 custom design flower delivery in your
21:59 city. Number two, testimonial highlight
22:02 reels. Yes, please turn texts or DMs
22:04 from happy out of town senders into
22:06 short pieces of content. This is so
22:08 good. Like you will have a client review
22:10 that says something like this. She
22:12 cried. said it was the best bouquet
22:14 she'd ever received. Number three,
22:17 offering a concierge ordering service.
22:19 And I don't necessarily agree with this
22:21 suggestion in here. You could obviously
22:23 test it out, but this definitely gets me
22:25 thinking about the value of having like
22:28 one of those AI plugins on your website
22:29 where you could send a message, having
22:32 FAQ questions on your website, having
22:34 resources at your client's fingertips
22:35 because if they're on the other side of
22:36 the country and they want to order
22:38 flowers, like this just gets your
22:40 creativity flowing in terms of new ideas
22:42 in your business. Now, my friends,
22:43 that's your new marketing plan. It is
22:45 not perfect, but I will say it's about
22:48 80% right. And it's so clear. Like talk
22:50 about taking a big ass revenue goal of
22:53 $300,000 a year, breaking it down into
22:54 how many orders do I need to have? Okay,
22:56 how many orders do I need to get over
22:57 the course of a week? Okay, now I have
22:58 my priorities from a marketing
23:00 perspective. I know what I need to do.
23:02 Okay, and now you literally have the
23:04 beginnings of a very powerful marketing
23:07 plan. Okay, now number three, and this
23:09 is probably my favorite way to use chat
23:11 GPT because it's not enough to know your
23:13 numbers and it's not enough to have a
23:14 clear action plan. You need to take
23:16 action. And this is where most of
23:19 florists get stuck. You have a plan, but
23:21 then the totally normal human experience
23:22 of all the fear and the doubt and the
23:24 uncertainty kicks in. What if nobody
23:26 buys? What if I'm not good enough? What
23:28 if I fail? What if I die poor, broken,
23:30 alone, living in a van down by the
23:31 river? But here's the thing to remember,
23:33 because you are not just a floral
23:35 designer anymore. You're a florist and
23:37 you're a business owner. And business
23:41 owners feel the fear and do it anyway.
23:43 So, instead of allowing the fear to stop
23:46 you, we're going to use Chat GPT as your
23:49 personal coach. You're going to input
23:51 your top three fears and get coaching
23:53 responses that help you move forward
23:56 with confidence. This is going to be so
23:57 helpful. So, let me show you how
24:00 powerful this is. So, prompt number
24:03 three, and definitely screenshot this
24:05 one. I'm a florist working on building a
24:06 more profitable business, but I'm
24:08 struggling with fear and self-doubt.
24:10 Please act as my business coach and help
24:12 me work through these limiting beliefs.
24:15 So, my top three fears are, and you can
24:16 borrow my top three fears, you can make
24:18 your own top three fears. You could just
24:19 keep experimenting with this and keep
24:22 putting more fears into the prompt, but
24:26 I'm going to say my top three fears are
24:27 no one will want to pay my higher
24:30 prices. Two, I'll fail and end up broke.
24:33 Or you could literally type in I'm going
24:34 to die poor, broke, and alone living in
24:36 a van down by the river. And number
24:38 three, and this is for my newbies, I'm
24:40 not experienced enough to call myself a
24:42 business owner. It could also be that
24:44 you replace number three with there's a
24:46 huge amount of competition in my area.
24:49 It could be that you are making a giant
24:51 pivot or a change in your business and
24:54 you had a retail shop and you're just
24:56 moving more towards workshops, funerals,
24:58 and weddings. It could be like so many
25:01 possibilities. But I will say this is
25:02 one of those times where I want you to
25:04 be vulnerable. I want you to open
25:06 yourself up to AI because it's going to
25:08 blow your mind. Like the minute you can
25:11 identify what the fear is and you can
25:13 put it into the prompt, you're going to
25:16 get back some powerful tools that you
25:18 can use in your business every day.
25:20 Because the rest of this prompt, and
25:22 this is what's so helpful, is for each
25:25 fear, please help me reframe this fear
25:27 in a more empowering way. Give me evidencebased
25:29 evidencebased
25:32 responses to conquer those thoughts.
25:34 Provide specific actions I can take when
25:36 this fear comes up. And number four,
25:38 remind me of the bigger vision that I'm
25:40 working towards. Be direct, supportive,
25:42 and practical. I need coaching that
25:44 makes me take action despite the fear,
25:47 not just feel good platitudes. Are you
25:50 ready? Let's go. Okay. So, I am just
25:52 going to read this all out for you
25:54 because this is going to be helpful. And
25:56 it's totally fine if you come back to
25:57 this episode and you just listen to this
25:59 again and again and again and again and
26:00 again. So, you've already taken a
26:03 massive step naming your fears. That
26:05 takes guts and clarity. Now, it's time
26:07 to dismantle them systematically,
26:10 directly, and with action because fear
26:12 thrives in vagueness, not just bringing
26:14 it to light. So, fear number one, no one
26:16 will pay my higher prices. Here's your
26:19 reframe. The right clients want to pay
26:21 more. If I clearly show the value, my
26:23 job isn't to lower my price. It's to
26:26 raise their understanding. Number two,
26:28 evidence-based responses. Premium
26:31 florists do exist and thrive charging
26:35 $150 to $500 per order and they give you
26:37 some very real examples. So McQueen's in
26:39 London putting them and putting them.
26:41 Got it? And you're not trying to serve
26:43 everyone. You're targeting a niche. Busy
26:45 highinccome timest star professionals
26:47 who want convenience and excellence, not
26:49 discounts. Are you listening? Have you
26:51 got your pen in favor? Hit pause because
26:53 I want you to write this down. Studies
26:56 show that pricing influences perception
26:58 of quality. When you price low, premium
27:01 buyers assume it's low quality. Are you
27:03 listening? It's the machine. Okay. When
27:05 the fear hits, I want you to do this
27:08 one. Review one we real customer story
27:09 or thank you note. Remind yourself
27:11 somebody already saw the value and paid
27:13 for it. Number two, and say this out
27:15 loud. I don't sell flowers. I sell
27:17 convenience, connection, and confidence.
27:19 It's worth every penny. Number three,
27:21 post one sideby-side comparison photo.
27:23 your premium bouquet versus a generic
27:26 wire service one. Let the quality speak.
27:27 Remember the vision. You're building a
27:30 premium floral brand that lets you earn
27:32 substantially not burn out doing $50
27:34 orders for bargain shoppers. You're not
27:36 here to be the cheapest. Here to be the
27:40 most trusted, my friends, this is gold.
27:42 Fear number two, I'll fail and end up
27:44 broke. I laugh because this is like
27:46 right at the top of my list of
27:47 Kathleen's own list of fears. So,
27:50 reframe. Failure isn't fatal. Ain't that
27:52 the truth? Avoiding action is the real
27:54 risk. If I keep showing up, learning,
27:56 and adjusting, I will figure this out.
27:59 Evidence-based responses. So, 90% of
28:01 successful business owners admit they
28:02 don't know everything starting out. What
28:05 made them successful? Iteration. You've
28:06 already taken more action than most.
28:08 Building a brand, identifying a niche,
28:09 setting revenue goals, asking for
28:12 coaching. Seriously, my friends, like
28:14 remember, most human beings are sitting
28:16 on the sofa. They're scrolling Tik Tok.
28:18 They're scrolling Instagram. and they're
28:19 numbing themselves out with all of the
28:21 things that we have access to. You're
28:23 using chat GPT to help you build a
28:25 business. That's more than most people
28:27 get done in a day. Number three, every
28:29 single profitable florist you admire
28:31 once had this same fear. You are not
28:32 broken. You're just in the building
28:34 phase. And I promise you, you know me. I
28:35 show up on the internet. I talk about
28:37 all of my worst fears, hesitations,
28:39 doubts, and insecurities. This one is at
28:41 the top of my list. So, just know that
28:43 you're not alone. When the fear hits, do
28:45 this one. Do one revenue generating
28:47 action. Post an offer. Reach out to a
28:49 past customer. Run a $10 ad. Action is
28:52 the antidote to anxiety. Number two,
28:53 keep a proof on building something
28:56 folder. This one works, my friends. I
28:57 promise you. So, customer messages,
29:00 photos of bouquets, weekly revenue logs.
29:02 Review it when the fear creeps in.
29:04 Remember, none of us was born knowing
29:05 how to do these things. But this one
29:07 about your brain being able to see
29:09 actual evidence of your progress changes
29:11 the game. So, remember the vision.
29:13 You're not doing this to maybe make it.
29:14 You're doing this to build a profitable,
29:16 respected floral business that funds
29:17 your life on your terms. This doesn't
29:19 come from luck. It comes from brave,
29:22 boring, consistent action. Do what the
29:24 machine says, my friend. So, fear number
29:25 three, I'm not experienced enough to
29:28 call myself a business owner. Reframe. I
29:29 became a business owner by acting like
29:32 one, not waiting for a certificate.
29:35 Ownership is a practice, not a title.
29:38 Oh, ownership is a practice, not a
29:40 title. This is so good. Okay.
29:42 Evidence-based responses. There's no
29:44 secret license or minimum years
29:46 required. You are a business owner the
29:48 moment you sell something and take
29:50 responsibility for growing it. The most
29:52 successful business owners learn as they
29:54 go. They don't feel 100% ready. They
29:57 move forward anyway. Imposttor syndrome
29:59 hits high achievers more than anyone
30:02 else. Hey, are you listening to me? You
30:04 in the big fat world, are you listening
30:07 to me? Imposttor syndrome hits high
30:10 achievers more than anyone else. Feeling
30:12 doubt is not proof you're unqualified.
30:15 It's proof that you care. So when the
30:16 fear hits, do this. Review your own
30:18 wins. Who have you served? What problems
30:20 have you solved? And what did they say
30:22 about your work? The next thing you can
30:25 do is take one CEO action. Check your
30:27 numbers. Plan your weekly revenue goal.
30:30 Set a marketing task. Say this. Every
30:32 day I show up, I make decisions, and I
30:34 serve my customers. I am becoming the
30:37 business owner I aspire to be. Remember,
30:38 your business journey is just a personal
30:41 growth journey. And lastly, remember the
30:42 vision. You're not arranging flowers.
30:44 You're building a brand, a system, a
30:46 lifestyle. The goal isn't perfection.
30:48 It's ownership over your work, your
30:51 worth, and your future. So, it also
30:53 gives you a chart, the quick fear
30:55 reversal summary so that you can save
30:57 this, print this out, put this
30:59 somewhere. So, it gives you the fear,
31:01 the reframe, and the actions for you to
31:03 take. A final reminder, and a final
31:06 little motivational kick in the pants
31:07 that we all need. So, you're not just
31:09 trying out a business. You're committing
31:11 to become the kind of person who runs
31:14 one profitably, boldly, intentionally.
31:16 Every premium brand you admire once
31:18 started with a sacred but committed
31:20 founder. Ain't that the truth? You have
31:23 the guts. Now, just keep stacking the
31:26 reps, my friend. I swear to you. Like,
31:28 go into chatbt, take these three
31:30 prompts, even just take that last prompt
31:33 and see what comes back for you. The
31:35 reframes that that last prompt provides
31:37 are going to just truly like it will
31:39 give you goosebumps, particular if you
31:41 read it out loud, but also save it into
31:43 a Google doc, print it out, create a
31:45 cute Canva wallpaper graphic for your
31:46 phone, like whatever you need to do to
31:49 keep your brain in a positive business
31:52 building headspace. And here's what you
31:53 now have having followed these three
31:55 prompts. You have a very clear revenue
31:58 target with the math to back it up, a
32:00 focused marketing plan to help you get
32:02 found by the premium clients, and a way
32:04 to coach yourself through the mental
32:06 obstacles that you're going to have to
32:09 overcome as you grow your business.
32:11 Remember, the goal here is not about
32:13 working harder. It's about working
32:15 smarter and finally seeing yourself as
32:17 the business owner that you've always
32:19 wanted to be. You deserve to be
32:21 profitable. You deserve to get your work
32:24 out into the world and you deserve to
32:26 pay yourself really well. So take these
32:29 three prompts, personalize them for your
32:31 vision and your goals and your business.
32:33 And remember, build it on that new day,
32:36 new customer mindset. Stay focused,
32:38 track your results, and watch your
32:40 business thrive cuz you're going to blow
32:42 your mind with what you can achieve. And
32:45 if you want to learn my step-by-step
32:47 approach to creating a website that
32:50 makes you money, be sure to check out
32:52 this video. I reviewed 22 florist
32:55 websites and I give you expert insights
32:58 to help you build a website or transform
33:00 your existing website into a moneymaking
33:02 machine. And as always, thank you so
33:03 much for being here. Have the most
33:05 amazing week and I will talk to you
33:08 again next week. Bye for now. [Music]
