that Christ lives in our hearts. We're
so glad to have all of you together.
We're in this reintroducing Jesus to
this generation, equipping the believer
to know who you are in Christ, what you
have in Christ, and what Christ can do
through you. Last Sunday we began a
series of of teaching on material
prosperity. What Jesus taught about
material prosperity and we began to
examine first of all before we get into
the subject matter we're laying some
ground rules that makes it easy for you
to understand the concept and the
context of scripture. The book of Romans
the 16th chapter the 25th verse. Romans
the 16th chapter the 25th verse. BJ
>> Now to him that is of power to establish
you according to my gospel and the
preaching of Jesus Christ according to
the revelation of the mystery which was
kept secret since the world began.
>> Next verse.
>> But now is made manifest and by the
scriptures of the prophets according to
the commandments of the everlasting God
made known to all nations for the
obedience of faith. But now is made
manifest and by the scriptures of the
prophets which is what we call mystery.
The scriptures of the prophets which
will refer to Genesis to Malachi is made
manifest and by the scriptures of the
prophets according to the commandment of
the everlasting God made known to all
nations for the obedience of the faith.
So we we said no doubt the letters of
the apostles and we're talking about the
epistles all of them read from Genesis
to Malachi and there was a bias as to
how they read. There was a bias as to
how they interpreted and there was a
bias as to how they taught the Old
Testament scriptures which they took a
cue of that bias from Jesus's
hermeneutics. And we said that they
explained Christ from Genesis to
Malachi. They got to the Old Testament.
They held the facts. They held the
history. They took hold of his athos.
And then they preached Christ. They
never handled the Old Testament for any
other purpose. It was Christ's message.
Every time they took the book Genesis to
Malachi, the apostles only saw Christ.
So they saw the scriptures as Christ's
message despite the fact that we said
the Old Testament contains several
things because you have to look at the
you know the the the activity of the men
and then see the truth about Christ
taught or explained or hidden or
revealed in the midst of those
activities. Brother Paul began to
explain this gospel very clearly. In
Romans the first chapter the first verse
to the third. Romans chapter 1 verse
1-3. PJ
>> Paul a servant of Jesus Christ called to
be an apostle separated unto the gospel
of God.
>> Next verse.
>> Which he had promised for by his
prophets in the holy scriptures.
>> Next verse.
>> Concerning his son Jesus Christ our Lord
which was made of the seed of David
according to the flesh. So the gospel of
God is concerning his son Jesus Christ
our Lord. The gospel of God is
concerning his son Jesus Christ our
Lord. He says he is marked out or
declared to be the son of God. Verse
four of that Romans chapter 1. Romans
1:4 and declared to be the son of God
with power. That word declared is the
word marked out. He is marked out. The
word horizo in the Greek marked out the
son of god. Now look at the way the
writer of Hebrews will do exigences on
the old testament. Hebrews the first
chapter the first and the second verse.
PJ m
>> God who at sunundry times and in diverse
manner spake in time past unto the
fathers by the prophets.
>> Next verse. hath in these last days
spoken unto us by his son whom he hath
appointed heir of all things by whom
also he made the world.
>> So everybody had the same method. All of
them taught the old testament the same
way. So look at the way the writer of
Hebrews is writing God at sunundry times
diverse manners spake to the fathers by
the prophets.
what he spoke by the prophets in this
last days
he has spoken all of it in his son. So
again all the focus of the
interpretation of Genesis to Malachi by
the writer of Hebrews arrives at the son
arrives at the Christ. Look at the way
brother Peter will do exesis on the old
testament. 1 Peter chapter 1 verse
number 10 before you read. Which means
therefore that the epistles are the
correct explanation.
The epistles are the correct explanation
or the correct interpretation
of the Old Testament books. The epistles
are the correct explanation or the
correct interpretation of the Old
Testament books. Peter, read for me
first Peter 1 10-11.
>> Of which salvation the prophets have
inquired and searched diligently, who
prophesied of the grace that should come
unto you.
>> Next verse.
>> Searching what or what manner of time
the spirit of Christ which was in them
did signify when it testified beforehand
the sufferings of Christ and the glory
that should follow.
>> Look at the focus there. beforehand the
sufferings of Christ and the glory that
you follow. Which means Peter summarizes
that all that the prophets were focused
on was the sufferings of Christ and the
glory that should follow. Again, the
existences of Peter of the Old Testament
books of Genesis to Malachi arrives at
the sufferings of Christ and the glory
that should follow. And so again, he
says, "This is what we preached or this
is what was preached unto you. This is
what was declared unto you." Look at
verse 12 of First Peter 1:10. Verse 12, PJ.
PJ.
>> Unto whom it was revealed that not unto
themselves, but unto us they did
minister the things which are now
reported unto you by them that have
preached the gospel unto you, with the
Holy Ghost, sent down from heaven, which
things the angels desire to look into,
>> unto whom it was revealed, and not unto
themselves, but unto us they did
minister the things which are now
reported unto you by them that have
preached the gospel. What did they
preach? the sufferings of Christ and the
glory that you follow and this is what
was taught to you direct the sufferings
of Christ. In second Peter we will see
what Peter again establishes as his
exigencies from the Old Testament which
means that Christ therefore explains God
to us in the Old Testament.
Christ explains God to us in the Old
Testament. So when we find the truth
about Christ in the Old Testament, we
have found the truth about God. When we
find the truth about Christ in the Old
Testament, we have found the truth about God.
God.
Second Peter chapter 1 verse number 16.

>> for we have not followed cunningly
devised fables when we made known unto
you the power and coming of our Lord
Jesus Christ but were eyewitnesses of
his majesty.
>> We were eyewitnesses of his majesty. We
have not followed cunningly devised fables.
fables.
That word cunningly devised fables is
the word sophis sofo.
sofo.
S o p h i z o mthos. Sophisomos
Sophisomos
conningly deise fables. Sophisomos. M u
t h o s. Sopomos.
So fizzo means to sit down somewhere
like to craft
a movie like movie writers, script
writers to sit down and concoct a story
and you know create an imagination
around those that story or around those
characters and then make the characters
fit into the story in that movie. That's
the meaning of Sophiso. Then he used the
word mu mythos
a myth a myth a fanciful story somewhere
he said we do not follow cunningly
devised fables that means what we follow
in Christ is not a wellcrafted
imaginative story what we follow in
Christ is not someone's figment of
imagination we have not followed
conningly devised fables
when we made known unto you the coming
of our Lord Jesus Christ,
the power and the presence. Look at it
again. Second Peter 1:16. Mm- Second
Peter 1:16.
For we have not followed cunningly
devised fables when we made known unto
you the power and coming of our Lord
Jesus Christ. But we were eyewitnesses.
We Somebody didn't tell us what we're
telling you. We didn't read it in a
book. Neither did we dream it. We were
eyewitnesses. We were there when these
things that we are teaching or talking
to you about happened. We were direct eyewitnesses.
eyewitnesses.
We saw what we're talking about. We made
known unto you the power and coming of
our Lord Jesus Christ because we were
eyewitnesses of his majesty. Now pay
attention. The word power and presence
is the word parroia.
Parroshia presence that is not rapture.
Parroshia is not rapture. Now that means
we saw the incarnation. We were eyewitnesses.
eyewitnesses.
We saw it with our eyes. The word
eyewitnesses is opt.
We saw it with our eyes. Then he says
something that is very instructive.
Verse 17 and 18 of second Peter the
first chapter. For he received from God
the father honor and glory. When there
came such a voice to him from the
excellent glory, this is my beloved son
in whom I am well pleased. Verse 18, PJ,
read for me.
>> And this voice which came from heaven,
we heard when we were with him in the
holy mount.
>> We heard the voice. Verse 19, PJ,
>> we have also a more sure word of
prophecy. where unto you do well that
you take heed as unto a light that
shineth in a dark place until the day
dawn and the day star arise in YOUR HEARTS.
HEARTS.
>> WE HAVE glory to God.
>> We have also a mosh word of prophecy.
That is what we saw was prophecy fulfilled.
fulfilled.
What makes it a mush word is that what
was prophesied
we saw the fulfillment.
a more sure word of prophecy. WHAT WAS
DECLARED YEARS DOWN the road, we were
there when it was fulfilled. That's what
makes it a mush word of prophecy. The
word word of prophecy is the Greek word
propheticon. Propheticon p r o p h e t i
k o n. It means utterances of the
prophets. It says when he says where
unto you do well, you do well. Give me
that verse 19 again. We have a mush word
of prophecy.
Where unto you do well that you take
heed as unto a light that shineth in a
dark place. I love this. I love this.
You know how Peter just put this
together. as unto a light that shineth
in a dark place until the day dawn and
the day star arise in your hearts as
unto light. The word light there is the
word lamp. The word lamp.
Okay, the word lamp luchinos
referring to the testimony of the
prophets. The lamp there is the
testimony of the prophet.
The word shineth has to do with an
emerging appearance.
The light
or the lamb
shineth an emerging appearance.
An emerging appearance. That word
shineth is the Greek word fo. Fo p h a n
i o. In other words, he is saying that
the utterance of the prophet was progressive.
progressive.
Shineth in a dark place. Progressive. Shineth
Shineth
in a dark place. Pay attention. Remember
he is using a figure of speech as in a
dark place. as shineth as in a dark
place or chorus in the Greek or chmeros
it means something that is obscure or
something that is unclear.
So the counsels of God or the wisdom of
God in the old testament was unclear.
That is why when Christ died to the Jews
it was a stumbling block because the
message was an orus. It was unclear or
it was obscure.
So it was a stumbling block to the Jews
and you will see why in a few minutes.
Why was it a stumbling block? Because
the strength of God has been shown in
the in you know in the battles that the
Jews fought.
They fought wars, different battles,
different wars, and they had victories
in various in, you know, in almost all
of those wars. So they saw that the
Jewish people saw their winning wars as
the strength of God in battle.
It's like America goes to fight a
country and defeats a country. The
Americans see that as the finger of God
supporting America. or America goes to
fight a war and defeats the country.
People will think it is because God is
with America. But they forget that
America has the most powerful army on
the earth today. And they have the most
powerful war machines on the earth
today. So it will not be rocket science
for America to enter a country and
delete the country because they have the
machines, they have the equipment, they
have the technology, they have the
intelligence, they own the satellites,
they own all the things that you know
men use. Even the cell phones you are
using, they are all most of them are
owned by the Americans or the the in you
know the companies that own those
satellites are accountable to America.
The social media all of you are using is
owned by America. So they have
intelligence on every one of you. They
can pick any of you they want to pick at
any time. They have the money, they have
the power. So if they fight you and
defeat you, it doesn't mean it's a
finger of God. It means is because they
have the technology and the ability. But
Israel saw that there was was the finger
of God and the power of God and they
communicated it as that which eventually
Jesus will give us clarity in such
matters. But watch this. So having seen
that and thought that was the power of
God. So when you now say this is God
in the person of Christ
and they saw the manger where he was
born that doesn't look like Jehovah the
man of war
they saw him grow in the house of a poor
carpenter he doesn't look like the owner
of the earth and the fullness thereof
that's WHY IT'S A STUMBLING BLOCK to
Jewish people because it does not reconcile
reconcile
with their perception and ideology of
God. Am I teaching good this morning?
All right. So, and it doesn't look like
God because how can God manifest in the
flesh and then God is revealed in debt?
The men he created killed him and he
looked helpless in their hands. That
does not make sense to a Jewish man.
That is why the appearance of God in
humanity and the circumstances by which
God navigated to bring salvation becomes
a stumbling block to a Jewish man that
has a perspective of a God that
conquers, a God that destroys, and a God
that kills to show that he is God. It
doesn't make sense to the Jews. It's
confusing to them. So, it became for
them a stumbling block. Of course, the
Greeks saw it as foolishness.
The Greeks saw it as foolishness. To say
that Jesus is God is foolishness to a
Greek, you know, to Greek Greek people.
Cuz if he says someone is strong and he
is coming to save and he himself needs salvation.
salvation.
He's on the cross and they say save
yourself and save us. Are you not
supposed to be God? In fact, they
humorously put on the cross, this is the
king of the Jews. They did it as a
mockery, meaning if this is the king of
the Jews, it must be a pathetic king
because how can a king be hung on the
cross and nobody is coming to his help.
So it becomes foolishness to the Greeks.
But you see, it's because the truth
about God in the Old Testament had to be explained.
explained.
So he says it is as light that shineth
in a dark place or obscure a place where
there is an unclarity. Then he says it
will be shining progressively
until the day dawns.
Until the day dawn. That word day dawn
is a Greek word dazo. D a i d a z o. It
means light through shadow. The day dawn
light through shadow. So if there is an
oasis, the light that comes through the obscurity,
obscurity,
it is called dawn. The light that comes
through obscurity. That light that
breaks through darkness. It's like early
morning. If you're awake at 3 4 5 when
the skies are split by the introduction
of the morning light you say the day has
dawned that light that breaks through
that obscurity is what an oasis is that
is that light is now shining in other
words in the old testament we keep
seeing a particular light to some people
is the other side of God. But when
Christ came, he said that is not the
other side of God. That is God. So it's
not a conflict. It was a conflict only
in the hearts of men. THAT'S WHY IT'S
called a mustisterion. Please pay
attention. It was a conflict in the
hearts of men in the midst of activities
until the day dawn through the shadows.
He said until the day dawn.
Why did he call it the day dawn? Because
it was in the midst of shadows, in the
midst of darkness, in the midst of
conflict. Light broke through. the day dawn.
dawn.
You know, shadows will show you almost
nothing about what you think you're
looking for. It's it's a skimm s k i a
in the Hebrew. It's a ska. It hides it
away like the day dawn. That is the day star.
star.
The word day star is the word phosphorus.
phosphorus. Phossperos.
Phossperos.
The light itself. The day star. The
phosphorus the light itself arise in
your hearts. The light itself will arise
in your hearts.
So the gospel and the truth in the
gospel is the day star. The gospel and
the truth in the gospel is the day star.
So we have oorus
obscurity in the words of Moses.
We have obscurity in the actions of Job.
We have obscurity in Abraham, in David,
and in all of the prophets. There is obscurity.
obscurity.
But in the midst of all that, there was
an emerging light
that kept shining until the perfect day,
which is the day of the church, which
has now come to our hearts. He has now
come to our hearts. That light traveled
through the ages. It traveled through
the Old Testament. It traveled right
into the incarnation and it travel right
into the resurrection. And today that
light has arisen in our hearts. I
thought somebody would shout hallelujah.
So the apostles
what they were doing with the Old
Testament was to properly explain it.
Please stay with me. What they were
doing with the Old Testament, the
apostles, was to properly explain it.
And they let it come clear in our
understanding that there is no such
thing as a bipolar image of God. The
apostles of Jesus made it very clear
that there is no such thing as a bipolar
God or the other side of God in their
interpretation of the Old Testament.
It's central and is singular. The
character of God is central and the
character of God is singular and the
character of God is Christ. The
character of God is central. The
character of God is singular. And the
character of God is Christ. To see the
Old Testament outside Christ is a
selfinduced confusion.
To see the Old Testament outside Christ
is a selfinduced confusion. That's
something you have done to yourself if
you decide to look at the Old Testament
outside Christ. Because
nobody here who went through school will
make conclusion in the first chapter of
a book. Nobody here who went through
school amongst us will conclude a book
by reading the introduction of the book.
You will finish the book first. You will
read the book to the end. You don't even
have an excuse. You read the whole book
together. So when you say the Old
Testament has this,
the New Testament has better blessings
is because of just carelessly reading
the Bible in a pedestrian manner. You
know, some people read the Bible in a
pedestrian manner. They don't pay
attention to the details and they don't
read it holistic or wholesale.
They read it in bits and pieces like
touds in the park. The truth of the
matter is that for you to see the
epistles are smaller in number than the
Old Testament, it shows you that there
are many things the apostles ignored
because everything the apostles taught
was from the Old Testament. So if by the
time they finish teaching and their
BOOKS THAT CAME OUT OF THE Old Testament
are smaller than the Old Testament then
it means there are things in the Old
Testament that were irrelevant and
unnecessary where the message is
concerned. Am I teaching here? That is
meaning that there was a selective way
in which the apostles handled the Old
Testament material which is instructive
to us today because we are built on the
foundation of the apostles and prophets.
Jesus himself the cornerstone.
Imagine the writer of Hebrews said,
"Time will fail me to mention Barack."
I love these guys. These guys, I love
these guys. Jesus was not a careless
person. He took his time to select the
people that will document his story.
They were It wasn't anybody. Anyhow, you
know, the other day I was saying, "Do
you know what it takes for God to
produce one man of God?" Did I say it in
church here? It takes God a lot. LOOK AT
MOSES, THE WRITER OF SCRIPTURE. DO YOU
know what it took God to produce a
Moses? Look at the circumstances around
Moses's life. 40 years of Egyptian
knowledge, then 40 years of wasting it
in the wilderness and rewiring his brain,
brain,
then sending back to Pharaoh. And then
begins the journey of taking Egypt,
Israel out of Egypt. Look at what it
took God to produce a Moses and then a
Moses produced a Joshua. Look at what it
took Moses to produce Joshua. And when
Joshua came, Joshua added nothing to
Moses. He just kept saying according to
what God has spoken to us by the lips of
his servant Moses. THAT'S ALL JOSHUA DID
ALL HIS MINISTRY. And of course, all the
prophets came, took Moses and explained.
took Moses and explained, brought
prophecies that highlighted what Moses
said that were hidden in the activities
of Moses's writing. And as they all kept
prophesying AND PROPHESYING, ALL OF THE
LIGHT THAT WAS SHINING THROUGH THEIR
PROPHECY in the midst of the activities
and events took up a body and the word
became flesh in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and
John and dwelt amongst us AND REDEFINED
THE CHARACTER OF GOD in the Old
Testament because of the many activities
and events that seem to portray God as a
bipolar character. He brought the
singularity of God's character in the
incarnation, died and rose and handed
the baton over to the apostles who had
the numa alert here to bring the
complete truth of the teachings to the
church. No wonder he will say, I have
yet many things to say to you, but you
cannot BEAR THEM NOW. HOW BE it when I'm
gone the comforter comes by then the
spirit will be indwelling YOUR HEARTS.
SO THE APOSTLES will take what I am
saying and advance the verbiage and you
will be able to understand. Oh yadash.
Oh yadash. Oh yabadash. Oh yabadash. I'm
teaching good this morning. Now
Now
he says time will fail me to talk about barak.
barak.
the writer of Hebrews. Why will you say
time will fail you? See how HE TOOK THE
ENTIRE GENESIS to Malachi and compressed
it in 40 verses. The writer of HEBREWS
ALL OF GENESIS TO Malachi in 40 verses.
How Sarah spoke to her husband

Part 1 to 40.
No story about Beth Sheba, not even a

No apostle did a series on Beth Sheba,
no epistle.
MAY YOU NEVER see Ba.
No episte to said such words.
It was purely an explanation of Christ
because that was what was vital. That
was that was what was needed to be
explained. That was what brought faith
in Christ. And faith in Christ is faith
in God. Stay with me. So Peter calls it
the da arising in your heart. So if YOU
ARE STILL STUDYING the words of Job,
the words of Job,
you know men are so confused about what
they are saying. Somebody told you he
that he killth and maketh alive.
Someone else said the Lord giveth and
the Lord taketh away. Blessed be his
holy name.
Job spoke for 40 chapters.
40 chapters of Job speaking. And in
chapter 42, Job said, "I admit that I
was wrong.
I spoke things I knew nothing about." He
said, "I admit that everything I said in
42 chapters until now, don't take me serious."
Job himself said it.
And then a church is doing a complete
When the New Testament said nothing
about Job,
THE ENTIRE NEW TESTAMENT WHEN THE
apostles took the book of Job, there was
nothing to highlight. So no reference
was made to any statement of Job in the
New Testament. So you can imagine Paul
comes to the church in Ephesus and he's
teaching them the Old Testament and
doesn't mention Job. He's teaching
Colossi, no mention of Job. He's
teaching Philip, Phil Philippi, no
mention of Job. He goes to Thessalonica.
All of his ministry in those churches,
no job. Phileimon, no job. Timothy, no
job. Titus, no job. Job seem not to
exist in THE APOSTOLIC WRITINGS. THE
ONLY PERSON THAT MAKES MENTION OF JOB is
James. He says, "AND THE ONLY THING HE
said about Job is we know the patience
of Job. After that, after he was tried,
the Lord had mercy on him. That's the
only commentary that the apostles had on
Job. Yet, a church is doing a 50-day
series on Job.
How unappostolic.
How unappostolic.
And Christianity is apostolic and historic.
historic.
Let every man take heed how he builds on
So there there was a bias
in the interpretation of the Old
Testament books. I'm teaching good this morning.
morning.
when you observe the way the apostles
handle the Old Testament, it's you you
will see that the church world today has
a lot of
a lot of
rethinking to do.
If at all you mention his word, you
mention it as a reference to the
confusion in the minds of men.
Look at everything. After Moses was
bragging in Egypt, after all his
bragging in Egypt, then Moses said, "OH LORD,
LORD,
After all the bragging,
signs, wonders, splitting the Red Sea,
miracles, Moses said, "Oh Lord, show me
your glory." Uh-uh.
Uh-uh.
I thought the miracles were the glory.
I thought the signs and the wonders were
the glory.
I thought mana falling from the sky was glory.
glory.
After all that, Moses said, "Lord,
show me your glory." God said, "No, Moses,
Moses,
you won't see my my He said, I will make
my goodness pass before you, but I will
hide you.
You will see the back but you won't see
the front. What he's saying is Lord I
want to see the incarnation. Now
what Moses was saying is God become a
man now so I can see you. God said NO
IT'S NOT YOUR TIME.
You can't see me now but you will see
the back. The back means YOU WILL SEE
You will see types and shadows. Why?
Because there was an appointed time.
When the fullness of the time was come,
God sent forth his son made of a woman,
made under the law, to redeem them that
were under the law, that we might
receive the adoption of children.
So Moses
didn't see all of God's glory and never
experienced all of God's glory. But
today, Christ in you,
the hope of glory. I thought somebody
will shout, glory.
>> Moses built a temple that he himself
never entered to do anything.
He built a temple and gave to Israel,
but he himself never entered that temple.
temple.
So within all of that, you will see
men's confusion.
You will see men's assumptions.
But there's a light in the midst of the
assumptions and confusion that keeps shining.
shining.
That was the light the epistos captured.
That was the focus of the apostolic
writings. the light that was shining
through the darkness. I like the way the
writer of Hebrews captured it. Hebrews
chapter 1 verse one. PJ Hebrews chapter
1 verse one. Mm-
>> God who at sunundry times and in diverse
manner spake in time past unto the
fathers by the prophets.
>> Did you observe the plurals times, manners,
manners, prophets,
prophets,
fathers? Did you observe? They're all
plural times, manners,
manners, prophets,
prophets, fathers
fathers
have in these last days
spoken once
in the Old Testament times, manners,
manners, fathers,
fathers, prophets,
prophets,
in these last days spoken.
He's not speaking.
He has spoken and the spoken
is in the sun.
So Jesus is God's last word.
Jesus is God's last word and Jesus is
God's holy word.
Jesus is God's last word and Jesus is
God's holy word.
So imagine all that number
and just one person was the brightness
of his glory, the express image of his
presence. Someone was saying sir, what
about the battle of AI?
what Samuel said, what David said. So I
asked him, "What did Jesus say?"
What did Jesus say? He said, "Let's stay
with Samuel." Uh-uh. Are you a believer
at all?
Is David your savior?
Is even Moses your savior?
So it's just basic. That's how they
handled the Old Testament. That was how
they taught from the Old Testament and
that was how they preached from the Old
Testament. Look at brother James. We saw
Peter. We saw Hebrews. Look at brother
James. James the first chapter the 17th
to the 19th verse. PJ James 1 verse 17-9.
17-9.
Every good gift and every perfect gift
is from above, and cometh down from the
Father of lights, with whom is no
variableness, neither shadow of turning.
>> Next verse.
>> Of his own will he of his own will begat
he us with the word of truth, that we
should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.
creatures.
>> Next verse.
>> Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let
every man be swift to hear, slow to
speak, slow to wrath.
J James begins to make a lot of
disclaimer on many things in the Old Testament.
James begins to make a disclaimer just
like the other apostles. Look at James
the first chapter the 13 to the 16th
verse. PJ James 1:13-16.
>> Let no man say when he is tempted, I am
tempted of God. For God cannot be
tempted with evil, neither tempteth he
any man.
>> Next verse.
>> But every man is tempted when he is
drawn away of his own lust and enticed.
>> Next verse.
>> Then when lust hath conceived, it
bringeth forth sin. And sin when it is
finished, bringeth forth death.
>> Next verse.
>> Do not heir, my beloved brethren.
>> Do not heir. The word planner O P A I
mean P L A N A O. Planner O. Do not be
led astray, my beloved brethren. And
this led astray is through Bible teachers,
teachers,
through Bible teachers
who do not know how to rightly divide
the word of truth. So they will lead you
astray from God from their teachings.
They will teach you away from God.
They will teach you away. So James, he
says, "Don't allow anybody teach you
away from God because God is not the
tempter and God tempts nobody." So any
preacher preaching that God is tempting
you, God is the one trying you, he is
leading you away from God by his
teaching. Then he now says make sure
that if you are receiving a teaching it
agrees with the fact that every good and
every perfect gift is from above.
Anything contrary to that you are being
led astray from God. So let no one lead
you astray. planner. Oh, do not air. Now,
don't you think that what the apostles
were doing in all these apostolic books
we were reading, both Peter,
both Paul,
both James,
don't you think what they were doing was
Bible interpretation?
Huh? Huh? That was Bible interpretation.
They were interpreting the Old
Testament. Look at the way John John
Apostle John will speak about these
things. First John the first chapter the
1 to the 5th verse PJ 1 John chapter 1
verse 1-5. Mm-
First John not St. John 1 John 1. Yeah.
>> That which was from the beginning which
we have heard which we have seen with
our eyes which we have looked upon and
our hands have handled of the word of
life. So John wants to talk to you. But
before he talks to you, he pulls out his
credential as to why you must listen to him.
him.
>> He said, "Look guys, wait, wait, wait. I
want to talk to you about that which we
have seen."
Go back to verse one. That which was
from the beginning which we have heard
we not we them
which we have seen with our eyes. How
many of you know Peter say we were
eyewitnesses of his majesty. So he is
putting you in your place
that you were not there but we were
there. So shut up and listen to us.
You are not permitted to have an
opinion. That's what Peter is saying.
You are not permitted to have an
opinion. Because first of all, you were
not there. So clear your mind. Let us
tell you what you think. John now comes
on the scene to say the same thing. John
says that which was from the beginning,
which we have heard, which we have seen
with our eyes, which we have looked
upon, our hands have handled him. We
were there. WE TOUCHED HIM. WE HELD HIM.
WE KNOW WHAT WE'RE talking about. We
touched the word of life. WE HELD THE
WORD of life.
So he gives his credentials. Then he
goes to verse two, PJ verse two of first John.
John.
>> For the life was manifested and we have
seen it and bear witness and show unto
you that eternal life which was with the
father and was manifested unto us.
>> Next verse.
>> That that which we have seen and heard
declared we unto you, that ye also may
have fellowship with us. And truly our
fellowship is with the father and with
his son Jesus Christ.
>> Next verse.
>> And these things write we unto you that
your joy may be full.
>> Next verse.
>> This then is the message which we have
heard of him and declare unto you that
God is light and in him is no darkness
at all.
>> This then is the message.
Anyone that is not this one, trash it.
This then is the message. Put it up.
which we which we have heard of him and

and in him is Apastor Henry. Are you
serious? You're here with your wife.
Merry Christmas. Please you can be
seated. I didn't know you were the one.
I just saw you by the spirit now.
By the spirit and in the flesh.
THAT GOD IS LIGHT and in him is no darkness
darkness
at all. WHAT JOHN IS SAYING IS ANY
message that portrays God as the author
Do not be led astray. Has James warned
you? Do not be led astray. Anything that
is contrary to there is no imperfection
in God, every good and perfect gift is
from above. Anything outside of that is
a planner. Oh, J. John comes in from a
different perspective to say look this
then is the message. Anyone that is not
this one is not the message that God is light
light
and in him is no darkness at all. Which
means if you read the Old Testament
where God was behind AN OPERATION OF
DARKNESS, THAT'S NOT THE MESSAGE.
THEY ARE DOING BIBLE EXIGENCIES and they
rightly dividing the Old Testament. Do
you know that when you study further to
chapter 2 and three, he called darkness hatred?
hatred?
John called darkness hatred. He that
hated his brother is in darkness.
There is no hatred in God. There is no
darkness. Where he explained unforgiveness.
unforgiveness.
What is the light? He said the blood of
Jesus his son cleanseth us from all sin.
That is the light. THE CLEANSING POWER
OF THE BLOOD ON a man is the light. He
says in him is no darkness at all. So
again, if there's no darkness in Christ,
it means Christ is the explanation of God.
God.
No darkness. Christ is the explanation
of God. First John chapter 5 verse one.
PJ 1 John 5 verse number one.
>> Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the
Christ is born of God. And everyone that
loveth him that begat love that begat
loveth him also that is begotten of him.
>> Anyone that loveth him that begat loveth
him also that is begotten of him. Now
look at the writer of Hebrews. Hebrews
the 2 chapter the 8th and the 9th verse.
Hebrews 2:8 and9. Thou hast put all
things in subjection under his feet. For
in that he put all in subjection under
him. He left nothing that is not put
under him. But now we see not yet all
things put under him.
>> Next verse. But we see Jesus who was
made a little lower than the angels for
the suffering of death crowned with
glory and honor that he by the grace of
God should taste death for every man.
>> So the writer of Hebrews is saying
Genesis say you have put all things
under man but when we look at man we do
not see all things put under man but
when we look again we see Jesus. So
meaning from Genesis 1:26 the message is
Jesus not man. So the writer of HEBREWS
IS ALSO RIGHTLY DIVIDING the Old
Testament and he tells you after
dividing everything our focus our study
was to see Jesus. Hebrews 12:2 look at
the way he goes ahead to further butress
their study of the Old Testament.
