0:00 Well, we're at the halfway mark, halfway
0:01 through the year. And what is going to
0:03 happen in the United States? From the
0:05 economy to the war against Russia, uh,
0:08 to the war in Gaza. Where are the United
0:12 States and the American policy makers
0:14 going to come down on a whole host of
0:16 issues? And where are we headed? Let's
0:18 ask the one person who knows, who looks
0:20 at the trends more deeply than anybody
0:21 does. That's Gerald Centi, of course,
0:23 the founder, the chief bottle washer
0:25 over at the Trends Journal. And we
0:28 Gerald, welcome back to the show. you
0:29 know, we checked in with you at the
0:30 beginning of the year to look at the big
0:32 forecasts that you had at the Trends
0:34 Journal uh for the for the whole year
0:37 and now we're halfway through this year
0:39 and I thought it'd be a good time to
0:40 check back in with you. So, welcome back
0:41 into the show. Well, thanks for having
0:43 me and you know
0:46 Yeah. You know, one of our top trends,
0:49 I've been at this for 45 years. Never
0:52 did we have a top trend called a wild
0:55 card. And we have the trump card and the
0:57 wild card. anything goes now. It's it's
1:00 you you
1:02 you can't
1:05 what's gonna happen in a lot of ways. It
1:07 is crazy. I mean, every day it seems
1:09 like, you know, within 48 hours things
1:11 change on a dime. Even President Trump
1:13 the other day took a took a question
1:14 from a reporter and he called it a nasty
1:16 question when the reporter asked him,
1:19 "So, do you do you cave do you cave on
1:21 tariffs um when you get push back? is
1:24 that you know and he thought it was a
1:26 nasty question like do you sort of
1:27 change with the wind on things? Um and
1:29 he he got really upset about that
1:31 question. He doesn't like to be
1:32 challenged like that. So yeah, the un
1:34 unpredictability is back and it seems
1:37 like it's back in the markets. It's back
1:38 in uh in the US dollar. It's back in the
1:41 housing sector. It's back in a whole
1:43 host of topics. So where do you want to
1:45 start, Gerald? I mean we're here halfway
1:47 through the year. What do you see
1:49 unfolding for the rest of the year?
1:50 here. I mean, I think I want to kind of
1:52 maybe we'll start with people's
1:53 pocketbooks, you know, people's wallets
1:55 and what the economy looks like. That's
1:57 what most families care about in the
1:59 United States, being able to put food on
2:00 the table. Um, and you're in in your
2:03 latest journal talking about the US
2:04 dollar continuing to decline. So, what
2:07 do you see in the US economy for the
2:09 next six months?
2:12 You know, again, it's it's a somewhat of
2:15 a guessing game, but here's what we're
2:17 we're
2:18 forecasting again because you don't know
2:20 what Trump is going to do. And and one
2:23 of the important things is where are
2:24 interest rates going to go. And
2:27 everybody has to remember the facts.
2:29 Let's go back to
2:31 2018, worst December for the Dow since
2:34 the Great Depression, 1931. Trump forced
2:38 Powell to lower interest rates, which
2:40 Powell did in December of
2:43 2019. Pushed the Dow up what, 22% that
2:46 year. So, let's go back to now what's
2:49 going on. You know, the big news is, oh,
2:52 Nvidia's uh, you know, sales went up and
2:54 they're doing great. We see a dot buzz
2:57 coming. And here's
3:00 why. Tracking trends is the
3:02 understanding of where we are, how we
3:04 got here, and where we go, where we're
3:05 going. And trends are born, they grow,
3:07 they mature, reach old age and die.
3:09 Let's go to the AI trend. It was only
3:12 born three years ago,
3:14 2022. You don't invest all your money in
3:17 the first companies that are big in the
3:19 new investment of a new trend. And
3:22 that's what they did. All these IPOs,
3:25 IPO wannabes, one after another, dumping
3:28 money into the AI. And then let's just
3:30 go back to January, which nobody talks
3:32 about anymore, and Deepseek comes out.
3:36 Nobody ever heard of a Deepseek before,
3:38 but it's a Chinese company that comes
3:39 out. Nvidia stock goes down 17%. They
3:42 lose 600 billion dollars in one day. And
3:47 Deepseek says, "Hey, we don't need these
3:48 big chips that you're making. We could
3:50 do it with smaller chips." Oh, and it
3:52 didn't cost us a hundred million bucks
3:54 to do this. It cost us uh six million.
3:57 And now Deep Seek is the most used AI in
4:00 the world. Now let's go back. Trends are
4:03 born. They grow. They mature. Reach old
4:05 age and die. Again, the trend has just
4:06 been born. You don't invest all your
4:08 money in there. And in trend
4:11 forecasting, you make connections
4:13 between different fields. So let's see
4:16 why China is going to be, like it or
4:19 not, the world leader in AI. Before
4:23 Slick Willie, Bill Clinton put China
4:25 into the World Trade Organization in
4:28 2000. They officially came in two weeks
4:31 after 9/11. Go back to 2000. 10% of
4:35 Chinese 18year-olds went to college.
4:38 Today nearly
4:41 70% young people are totally totally AI
4:46 high techch addicted and they're going
4:48 to college to to expand this thinking.
4:52 They're going to lead the world in this
4:54 development. As the United States is
4:56 going down, less kids are going to
4:58 college. They have 1.4 billion people.
5:00 We have 347 million. So you use the
5:02 numbers and you look at the facts. So we
5:05 see a.com bust coming. Number
5:07 two, nobody's talking about it. Let's go
5:11 back before the COVID war. Google it up.
5:14 What's your office uh vacancy rate in
5:18 the United
5:19 States? About
5:21 11%. What is it now?
5:25 20.4%. Double 20. Holy smokes. Now,
5:28 you've been I I want to give you credit,
5:30 enormous credit on this. for the past
5:32 year and a half on our show when we've
5:33 had you on. You've been focusing on this
5:36 story when everyone else has been
5:37 ignoring it. So, thank you for that,
5:39 which is the commercial real estate
5:41 problem and all of these people who are
5:42 not returning to the offices and now
5:44 these offices are just you can't afford
5:47 the leases, you can't afford the
5:48 mortgages, so they're just going belly
5:50 up. So, you've been on spot on. So, now
5:52 it's doubled.
5:54 It's doubled since the co war. And by
5:57 the way, the damage the damage that's
6:00 been caused by these politicians that
6:02 lock down the nations, it's
6:04 incalculable. Not only in the United
6:06 States because you can't go back to
6:08 China. Look at their look at
6:12 their again before Bill Clinton brought
6:15 him into the World Trade Organization,
6:17 China's GDP was like this. They come in
6:21 boop shoots up when all the manu not all
6:23 of it loaded the manufacturing from
6:25 United States and Europe went over there
6:28 to get cheap labor and gave China
6:31 everything they never had in high-tech
6:32 and heavy industry technology but anyway
6:35 they had a big big housing boom and with
6:39 every boom there's a
6:40 bust but they made a very bad bust much
6:44 worse when they launched the co war on
6:47 January in January 2020 20 on their
6:50 Chinese Lunar New Year, the year of the
6:53 rat, you have between 60 to 90 million,
6:58 depending on whose numbers you look at,
7:00 vacant apartments in
7:03 China. Some 30% of China's GDP was real
7:08 estate
7:09 related. They locked down the place for
7:12 three years with zero COVID policy. They
7:14 destroyed the lives and livelihoods of
7:16 hundreds of millions. So they got their
7:19 big problems too. What I'm saying going
7:21 back, we're talking about the office
7:22 building bust. The damage that has been
7:25 caused by the CO war is
7:28 incalculable. Like where I am up here in
7:31 the Hudson Valley, I call it death
7:33 valley. 9:00
7:35 everything empty. Empty. Restaurants
7:38 that used to serve at 10:00 at night,
7:39 they're only serving at 9:00. You look,
7:42 you're a New York City guy. I'm a New
7:43 York City guy. I mean, you know what the
7:45 scene was? You're going out 1:00 in the
7:48 morning, the places are packed. Now,
7:50 every time I go down the city, I ask a
7:52 cab driver, "When's it slowing
7:54 down?" 12:30 at night. And it's supposed
7:58 to be the city that never sleeps. I
7:59 mean, when I used to come into Fox News
8:01 Channel, um, you know, at 2, 3:00 in the
8:03 morning, 4 in the morning, 5:00 in the
8:05 morning to take a car into the city or,
8:08 you know, just from my apartment on the
8:09 Upper West Side. I mean, there'd be
8:12 people out all night and it was a city
8:15 that never sleeps. Now it's sleeping.
8:17 Now it's sleeping. So going
8:20 back the leases that you have in
8:23 commercial real estate, they're like
8:25 five and 10 year leases. So the CO war
8:28 began 5 years ago. Now these leases are
8:31 all coming up and they're not being
8:35 renewed. There's going to Let's go back
8:37 to 2023. Three banks fail. Signature uh
8:41 uh Silicon Valley and First Republic.
8:45 Boom. Markets will go way down. Gold
8:47 prices go way up. That was three banks,
8:49 right? You're going to see a load of
8:51 banks go under. This is serious and no
8:54 one's talking about it. Again, the whole
8:57 life has changed. So, those are the two
9:00 things we're looking at that's going to
9:02 affect the equity. The three, the other
9:04 thing, again, when interest rates go
9:06 down, the dollar, talking about the
9:08 dollar, the dollar is going to go down
9:10 more. Much of the world has had enough
9:12 of the United States geopolitical and
9:14 economic hegemony and they're getting
9:17 away from the buck. The bricks are going
9:19 to be the future in a lot of ways.
9:22 Again, you follow the money and the
9:24 money's following away from the United
9:26 States. So, there's going to be the
9:28 death of the dollar, death of the US
9:31 dollar. And as I mentioned, you have JD
9:32 Vance at the Bitcoin conference. Um, and
9:35 Eric Trump, I mean, talking about owning
9:38 Bitcoin and that the future is in
9:40 crypto, it's in gold, it's in silver,
9:42 it's away from these government
9:43 currencies. As I've said for a long
9:45 period of time here on the show, every
9:47 government currency in world history has
9:49 collapsed. All of
9:51 them. What makes you think that the US
9:53 dollar won't also collapse? Like, this
9:55 is going to be the one currency that
9:57 survives. Every currency in world
9:59 history has collapsed. the US dollar. We
10:01 had Representative Thomas Massie on the
10:04 show last week. He's great. And I said,
10:06 you know, we're 30 $36 trillion in debt.
10:08 And he said, Clayton, he said, that's 36
10:10 trillion what we see right now. He said,
10:12 it's you add on another it's about
10:14 another 20 trillion on top of that.
10:16 That's really where we are. The US
10:18 dollar is collapsing in real time. We're
10:21 watching it happening. Um so do you see
10:24 I mean an accelerated pace for the US
10:26 dollar? uh the sell-offs these countries
10:29 dumping US treasuries in a much larger
10:31 you know larger capacity the US dollar
10:34 as a reserve currency of the world
10:35 collapsing this year or will it take a I
10:38 don't know if it'll happen this year I
10:40 think it's going to you know it's going
10:41 to keep decelerating the the dollar
10:44 value but again and that's very
10:45 important too because gold is
10:48 dollar-based so the deeper the dollar
10:50 falls the higher gold prices rise
10:52 because it's cheaper to buy gold from in
10:55 other countries to buy it And going back
10:57 to Vance, let's go back to Trump. You
11:00 remember when Trump came out against
11:02 Bitcoin said it was destroying the
11:04 dollar? Oh, that was only a couple of
11:06 years ago. We won't talk about that. How
11:09 he was so anti- Bitcoin, but now his
11:11 family's into it. Again, we're writing
11:13 the articles in the Trends Journal week
11:14 after week. how they be. Again, we said
11:18 in the trends journal that Bitcoin and
11:21 other cryptos are going to go way up
11:24 because Trump got a hundred million
11:26 dollars plus from the crypto club when
11:28 he was running for president and during
11:31 his inauguration. We said these coins
11:33 are going to go way up and now his
11:35 family is into it. What the Lutnik guys
11:38 are into it?
11:39 Whit's kids are into it. uh the the
11:42 commerce secretary, the guy that's our
11:45 guy over there in uh Middle East uh uh
11:50 concerns, what whatever his title is,
11:52 Witco, the whole club is into this
11:55 thing. So again, and here's the other
11:58 thing that's going to happen. We're all
11:59 going to go, we've been writing about
12:01 this, what they're going to say, we're
12:03 getting rid of this dirty cash and we're
12:05 going to digital. So it's dirty cash to
12:07 digital trash.
12:09 every going to be central bank digital
12:11 currencies. It's the future of the
12:13 world. Going back to again to AI, go to
12:16 China. The people aren't using cash or
12:18 anything anymore. Put out your palm.
12:20 That's enough. It's everything's going
12:23 to go digital. And here's the deal. We
12:25 came up with a new digital
12:27 coin and the value of it is blah blah
12:30 blah blah blah and we're going to get
12:32 rid of our debt level because this coin
12:34 is worth so much. They're going to make
12:36 up any crap that they want. And by the
12:39 way, Massie, Thomas Massie is the
12:42 probably the only person in in the
12:44 government that I really respect.
12:48 Yeah. And I was a speaker at one of Ron
12:50 Paul's events and he was one of the
12:52 speakers there, too. He's a real deal.
12:55 And he said it's $20 trillion more the
12:59 debt level. Other people are bringing it
13:01 up to a hundred billion plus because
13:04 when you put in social security,
13:05 government debt, and other things, it's
13:07 much much higher that they have to pay
13:09 out. There's no way in the world they're
13:11 going to they're going to do away with
13:13 the dollar. They're going to come up
13:14 with a digital coin and replace it. It's
13:17 in front of everybody's eyes. They're
13:19 doing it.
13:21 Well, we've seen and I this is what I've
13:24 been seeing and I'm not a I'm not a
13:25 trends forecaster, but I certainly been
13:28 paying attention to what's been
13:29 happening with these stable coins. And
13:32 so the US dollar as a reserve currency
13:35 has been declining very very quickly as
13:38 the rise of the BRICS nations have been
13:40 increasing. They've been dumping the US
13:42 dollar uh US treasuries and they've been
13:44 moving away from that to settle
13:46 transactions.
13:47 However, with the rise of stable coins,
13:50 USDC, which is backed by the US dollar,
13:53 in many ways, this is sort of an endound
13:56 uh the US dollar as a reserve currency,
13:58 and it kind of forces these countries
14:00 and forces crypto blockchain holders and
14:03 and others to be using the US dollar,
14:05 but in stable coin fashion. So, they're
14:08 moving us to this digital future, but in
14:10 a different way, away from the US dollar
14:12 in the way that we think of it, but now
14:13 backing a lot of the sort of
14:14 cryptostable coins where they'll be able
14:16 to track everything. They'll be able to
14:18 use us, you know. So, that's what this
14:20 is. It's all about tracking. It's all
14:22 about control, isn't it? Oh, yeah. You
14:25 nailed it perfectly. And one other
14:27 thing, tracking, control. They know
14:31 every penny you spent, where you spent
14:33 it, what you spent it on. They know
14:36 everything about you. And most
14:38 importantly, they steal your money in
14:40 the name of taxes,
14:43 right? They know every penny you spend.
14:47 They know everything about you. These
14:50 are
14:52 politicians, low life pieces of crap
14:55 that suck off the public tit their whole
15:00 lives and can't get a job in the real
15:02 world. most of them and want to just
15:06 keep doing it. So that's the deal.
15:08 That's right.
15:10 Let's talk about wars. So we got the US
15:13 economy,.com bust coming. Um the decline
15:17 of the US dollar and a housing crisis
15:19 that's been unfolding and you've been
15:21 nailing that. Now it's double where it
15:23 was during the COVID era. That's only
15:26 going to get worse. Um now let's talk
15:29 about these wars. It seems like things
15:31 are getting much worse with Russia. We
15:33 thought maybe we were moving towards
15:34 peace there, but it seems to be
15:36 spiraling out of control. Um, and Russia
15:39 has basically laid out its terms for
15:41 peace, which is exactly the same
15:43 position that they had back in
15:45 2022. Like, you're not joining NATO.
15:48 You're not expanding further towards our
15:51 doorstep. We are not going to have uh,
15:54 you know, these weapons supplied inside
15:55 of inside of Ukraine to be targeting our
15:57 our our country.
15:59 um and you'll stop to carry out this
16:01 genocide against ethnic Russians in what
16:03 was eastern Ukraine. So basically the
16:05 same terms. It's exactly where we are,
16:07 but now it's spiraling out of control.
16:10 We have the rise of Germany uh sending
16:12 additional weapons wanting to militarize
16:15 itself. So I mean are we heading towards
16:17 World War
16:20 II? The cover of the Trends Journal
16:22 magazine. And by the way, you if you you
16:25 go to um what's that thing you have the
16:29 uh the link?
16:31 Yeah, we'll have a link in the
16:32 description. So, and you guys have a
16:34 special link because you guys publish
16:35 the trends journal every week. So, if
16:38 you want to go to
16:40 redacted.inc, we'll have the link in our
16:42 description. You guys, I think you guys
16:44 have provided a link for 10% off for our
16:47 audience. So, sign up for it. We have a
16:49 lot of our viewers that are Trends
16:50 Journal subscribers. So, we'll have a
16:52 link in the description uh of this video
16:54 for people to go there, which brings it,
16:56 by the way, the grand total of
16:59 $2.50 a week. Here, this is the cover.
17:02 This is the front page of the New York
17:05 Times business section, weekend
17:10 edition, $6. Look at this stupid
17:14 picture. No. Once upon a
17:18 time there were there was print and
17:21 stories. Nothing. Journalism is totally
17:25 dead. Yeah. One nothing. Anyway, so
17:28 we're giving the people everything we
17:30 can to history before it happens and
17:34 going back to the Ukraine war and what
17:36 you're talking about the genocide that
17:38 was being committed by Ukraine, bombing
17:41 the people in the Donbas region, killing
17:43 over 15,000 of them. The people have no
17:46 clue about
17:48 this. People all when I was a kid, they
17:51 taught us to hate Russia. They had us
17:53 hiding under a desk in case a nuclear
17:55 bomb went off. As a little kid, I was
17:57 scared to death every time I saw an
17:59 airplane. Like hiding under a desk, by
18:01 the way, that was going to save your
18:03 life. Right here. Right. This is the
18:06 Trends Journal
18:08 magazine when it was a quarterly, by the
18:11 way. announced a weekly back in
18:15 2014. Look how happy that guy is. Right?
18:18 Here's the
18:19 story. Washington is driving the world
18:22 to the final war. World toy is not a
18:26 right America has earned. This is by Dr.
18:30 Paul Craig Roberts, former assistant
18:33 Treasury Secretary under Ronald Reagan,
18:35 wrote this article. I'm just going to
18:37 read a short part of it.
18:40 Washington concluded that Russia needed
18:42 to be confronted with or distracted by
18:45 problems that would leave Russian
18:47 government less confident or able to
18:49 counter
18:51 Washington's aggression elsewhere.
18:54 Ukraine presented the perfect
18:57 opportunity for Washington to advance
19:00 its hegemonic agenda in a speech at the
19:03 National Press Club last December, which
19:06 was
19:07 2013.
19:09 Assistant Secretary of State Victoria
19:11 Nuland boasted that Washington had
19:14 invested $5 billion in non-governmental
19:18 organizations in Ukraine to quote teach
19:22 democracy. The United States overthrew
19:25 the democratically elected government of
19:27 Victor Anakovich in Ukraine in
19:29 200 14. People have no idea about
19:33 this. None at all. So going
19:39 back, Germany is now escalating the
19:43 war. There are trillion dollars. They're
19:47 taking out a trillion dollars to build
19:49 up their
19:51 military. Germany's the third largest
19:54 economy in the world, largest in Europe.
19:57 It's been in recession for two years and
20:00 entering into recession. And you're
20:01 borrowing a trillion dollars. Oh yeah,
20:04 we're going to build the infrastructure
20:05 up too so the tanks could go over the
20:09 bridges. Wait a minute. You're doing Oh,
20:13 one country after another. That little
20:15 clown Carney boy up there. That jerk up
20:18 there. You got rid of True Dope up in
20:20 Canada. Now you got another jerk off up
20:22 there. Carney, he's
20:25 bragging. Carney's military spending,
20:28 you ready? will add up to $64 billion to
20:33 economic to the
20:36 economy one after another. And they're
20:39 all using the
20:41 line
20:44 that it's going to build up their gross
20:50 domestic product and their
20:53 economy. No, it won't.
20:56 products that are
20:57 made for military only enrich the
21:01 military-industrial complex. And by the
21:03 way, you
21:05 read Mertz over there, Fred Mertz, the
21:08 new chancellor, the former Black Rockck
21:09 guy, he keeps calling it money going
21:12 into the military-industrial complex. He
21:15 uses those words.
21:19 GDPs grow when the products that are
21:23 made are bought by
21:26 consumers. That's what drives it up.
21:30 This only goes into the pockets of the
21:32 military-industrial complex. Oh, that
21:34 President Dwight D. Eisenhower,
21:36 five-star general, supreme commander of
21:38 the Allied forces, and two-term
21:40 president said, "The military-industrial
21:44 complex is robbing the nation of the
21:46 genius of scientists, sweat of the
21:49 labors, and the future of the children.
21:53 And now you got these clown boys with
21:56 little peckers that couldn't fight their
21:58 way out of a paper bag sending the
22:01 [ __ ] out that spending this money
22:05 for the military is going to build our
22:08 economy. Yeah. Hile
22:11 mers. Oh, these are the Germans that
22:14 killed over 25 million Russians in
22:17 Operation Barbarosa in World War II.
22:22 Oh, these are the Germans that not me.
22:25 Uh, the guy by the name of John F.
22:28 Kennedy. F. Used to be a president
22:31 giving a speech. Anybody look it
22:34 up. American University
22:39 1963
22:41 June all about peace. He said, "No
22:44 nation suffered more during World War II
22:46 than the people in in the Soviet Union.
22:49 They lost their farms, their factories,
22:51 their homes, the equivalent of Chicago
22:53 to the east coast. He said over 20
22:56 million of them were killed and now the
22:59 numbers are over 25
23:01 million. Operation Barbar Roa launched
23:04 by Hitler and I got this little slime
23:08 ball. Mertz, if we don't stop those
23:13 Russians, they are going to take over
23:15 Europe.
23:17 Oh yeah, I grew up during the Vietnam
23:19 War. I heard that same crap, fat mouth,
23:22 if we don't stop those
23:24 Vietnamese, those commies. They're going
23:26 to take over all of Asia and those
23:28 dominoes will keep falling and it'll hit
23:30 the shores of California. Oh, by the
23:32 way, the same communist country,
23:34 Vietnam, that's our second largest
23:37 importer of clothing, shoes, and
23:40 furniture. In other words, they could
23:42 care less about it who's running what as
23:44 long as they can make money.
23:49 It's madness.
23:52 Um, yeah, it's absolute madness when you
23:55 look at what Carney's doing with the
23:56 expansion of the military in Canada.
23:59 This idea of moving to a war footing and
24:02 they're trying to scare us that Russia
24:04 is going to invade invade Europe. I I
24:07 people paying attention to Russia has no
24:09 intentions of that.
24:11 their massive amounts of land that that
24:14 that Putin can, you know, that Putin can
24:16 barely control as it is. Do you think
24:17 they want to add they want to add
24:20 Germany to their governing mix? It's
24:22 insane. It's absolute
24:25 madness. But, you know, that's how they
24:28 scare people and people believe it.
24:29 That's the sad part is that Gerald, you
24:31 know, people buy into this propaganda.
24:34 They believe it because they watch
24:35 things like CNN, you know, or they read
24:38 they read uh, you know, all of these
24:40 garbage publications across the world or
24:42 they watch like Sky News or any of these
24:44 things. So, they believe that Putin's
24:46 coming for them. Yep.
24:50 Again, people have no idea about again
24:54 the overthrow of the democratically
24:56 elected government. Again, this is the
24:58 magazine from 2014. I want to make this
25:01 really clear to show you how they how
25:03 they use the propaganda to get you. Here
25:07 you see this photo there of the this is
25:10 during the was the leadup to the Winter
25:13 Olympics in Russia in Sohi in 2014. This
25:19 is just before the overthrow. How the
25:22 mainstream
25:23 media taught the people to fear the
25:26 Russians. You ready?
25:29 security
25:30 expert. It's not if, but when for social
25:35 Olympics terror attack. They kept
25:37 telling the people not to go to the
25:40 social Olympics because there was going
25:41 to be a terror attack. I'm just going to
25:43 read a quick part of this. Veteran
25:45 security consultant Bill
25:48 Wthborn hopes that he's wrong about the
25:52 upcoming Winter Olympics in Russia, but
25:55 he has more than a hunch that he's not.
25:57 Quote, "The security threat is higher
26:00 than it's ever been in the history of
26:02 the Olympics." Wthbornne told Yahoo
26:05 News, "In my opinion, it's not a matter
26:08 of whether there will be some incident.
26:11 It's just a matter of how bad it's going
26:13 to be." They scared the hell out of the
26:16 people to hate the Russians that there
26:19 was going to be a terror attack at the
26:23 SoC Olympics. there was going to be uh
26:27 don't drink the yellow water,
26:29 homophobes, on and on and
26:32 on and then they overthrew the
26:34 government. So, what I'm saying is they
26:37 teach the people to hate the the country
26:40 and then they do what they want. And by
26:41 the way, I launched Occupy Peace over a
26:44 decade ago. I'm for peace and I read
26:47 George Washington's farewell address.
26:50 This is a real man that fought that
26:52 became president. not like these little
26:54 peckers that couldn't fight the way out
26:55 of a paper bag. And what does he say?
26:59 He said non-interventionism. And now
27:02 that's it became such a bad thing. This
27:03 idea that we should not be involved in
27:05 foreign wars. Non this idea that somehow
27:09 non-interventionism or isolationism is
27:12 now a bad word. And here George
27:14 Washington was in his farewell address
27:16 telling us that we should be
27:17 isolationists and non-interventionists
27:19 and you know be peaceful.
27:22 Yeah. And he said basically this crap's
27:24 been going on for centuries and we're
27:26 not going to fix it.
27:28 Yeah. Again, when you're looking at
27:29 what's going on in what what was Oh,
27:32 Crimea. Wasn't Crimea part of Russia for
27:34 a long time? Oh, wasn't Ukraine and
27:36 Russia Kremlin the Gorbach Cruchef did
27:40 this or what did that? Oh, oh, Al
27:43 Katherine the Great back in what this
27:45 stuff has been going on forever. Oh, and
27:48 how about how about these words that
27:50 they used to have the uh again World War
27:53 II? Google it up. Franklin Roosevelt
27:56 seizes all Japanese assets. Oh, by the
27:58 way, I talked about Kennedy in in June
28:01 of
28:03 1963 speaking to the students at
28:06 graduating American University. It was
28:08 all about peace. He said, 'We should not
28:10 go to war against the Soviet Union
28:12 because if we do, it'll be a atomic
28:15 nuclear war and life on Earth will be
28:18 destroyed in 24 hours. His words. That
28:22 was back
28:23 then. What happens June, July, August,
28:26 September, October, November? Jack,
28:29 you're dead. They killed him. He was for
28:31 peace.
28:34 So going back to what's going on with
28:37 the with people have all they have
28:40 taught us is to hate him just like they
28:43 taught us to hate
28:45 Iran when when the Iranian conflict
28:47 broke out in in 1978-79 when they
28:50 overthrew the sha. Oh people have no
28:53 idea how the United States the CIA and
28:55 the MI6 overthrew the democratically
28:57 elected government of Mosed in in in
29:00 Iran in
29:03 1953 because he had the nerve to say
29:06 that oil does not belong to Anglo
29:09 Iranian oil better known today as BP or
29:12 Standard Oil better known today as Exxon
29:14 Mobile. It belongs to the Iranian
29:16 people. No, it doesn't. And they
29:19 overthrew the government, but the
29:21 American people when this and that's how
29:23 I became a trend forecaster, by the way.
29:25 It was one of my books, Trend Tracking,
29:27 a lot far better than Mega Trends, Time
29:28 magazine. I write about how I started
29:31 investing in gold and oil futures when
29:32 that started to happen. And I became a
29:34 political atheist because people had no
29:36 idea of what was going on over there.
29:39 All they do is taught us to hate the
29:40 Iranians. And I said, "No, they're going
29:42 to overthrow the sha." People forgot
29:44 about the savak, the secret police under
29:46 the sha that made the SS look good. I
29:49 mean, the people hated the guy. He was a
29:51 dictator. So anyway, the same thing is
29:54 going on now. When all else fails, they
29:57 take you to war and the economies around
30:00 the world are
30:02 failing. Let's go back to what's going
30:04 on with the genocide war over there in
30:06 Israel. 39 weeks of judicial protests
30:10 were going on before Hamas attacked on
30:13 October uh 7th,
30:15 2023. 20 39 weeks, not my language, the
30:20 language of Isaac Herszog, the president
30:22 of Israel, because of Netanyahu wanted
30:25 to pass a judicial reform act that said
30:27 basically they're going to bring me up
30:29 on charges, but I'm going to pass this
30:31 judicial reform act. You're not going to
30:33 do anything to me. We're doing away with
30:35 your judiciary and the politicians will
30:37 be in charge is basically the judicial
30:39 reform act. 39 weeks of
30:43 protests and Isaac Herzog said quote
30:47 there's a civil war going on in
30:49 Israel. Hamas attacks all forgotten
30:53 about. All forgotten. And oh by the way
30:56 we only put facts in.
30:59 and the United States and Egypt. 3 days
31:03 later, it was reported in Hahadets and
31:05 other Israeli newspapers that the United
31:08 States and Egypt had warned Netanyahu
31:10 that this attack was going to happen.
31:12 Right.
31:15 And all the information's coming out
31:18 saying that they knew was going to
31:20 happen, which is going back to what I
31:21 was going to say about World War II.
31:23 Anybody could Google it up. The Great
31:25 Depression was going on. Franklin
31:28 Roosevelt seizes all Japanese assets in
31:30 the United States on July 26th,
31:35 1941. You know why? Those dirty Japanese
31:39 invaded French
31:41 Indo-China. French Indochina. What the
31:43 hell are the French doing in Vietnam?
31:45 Klim Cambodian La stealing their rubber,
31:48 their tin, rape, pillaging. Oh, the sun
31:51 never sets on the British
31:53 Empire. Oh, you're robbing and stealing
31:55 all over the world. What I'm saying is
31:57 going back to what Washington was
31:59 saying. This crap's been going on
32:01 forever. You got crazy people running
32:04 the world. And look what just happened
32:05 up in Canada. Just see that little clown
32:08 dressed up in his costume with all the
32:10 little medals on. The the the king of
32:15 England. What king? Royal family. If
32:18 you're an Italian, they call you a
32:21 mafia. You lousy bastards have killed
32:24 people all over the world. Royal family
32:27 dressed up in his little drag costume
32:29 with the little crown and it and oh and
32:32 they roll out the red carpets and
32:34 everybody salutes and the ro Oh, by the
32:37 way talking about going back to
32:39 Mertz meeting with Zalinski. Did you see
32:42 the picture of him and Zalinski over
32:45 there with all those red carpets and all
32:48 those little boys dressed up in their
32:50 drag costumes saluting? They're getting
32:53 us into war. And if people don't do
32:56 something to stop it, it's going to be
32:58 the end of life on Earth. Putting the
33:00 money into all this military equipment
33:02 is a waste of dough. It'll be nuclear
33:05 annihilation.
33:07 What? And and by the way, Russia's
33:09 warned it. They said if you attack us,
33:11 we're going nuclear. They said it. Well,
33:14 it's an existential threat to them,
33:15 right? I mean, the whole world is
33:17 sneaking up on their doorstep. NATO is
33:18 sneaking right up on their doorstep
33:20 through Finland, through Ukraine. Yep.
33:22 Through the massive mobilization in
33:23 Europe. What would we do in the United
33:25 States if suddenly Russia was on our
33:27 can, you know, had taken over Canada
33:29 sitting on our Canadian border, our
33:31 Mexican border, had submarines and
33:33 nuclear warships sitting in the Gulf of
33:35 Mexico, Gulf of
33:36 America, we would absolutely say we
33:39 would use nuclear weapons to defend
33:40 ourselves. Um, it's an existential
33:44 threat to their country. And they're
33:46 united. I mean, we've covered this on
33:47 the show. Russians are united. Yep.
33:49 Putin has massive internal support. They
33:52 know what they stand for. The the
33:54 Russian people know what their values
33:56 are and they know what they stand for
33:57 and they're not going to be bullied and
33:59 pushed around. They've had enough of
34:00 this sort of Western pushing around,
34:02 being lied to about NATO expansion,
34:04 being duped multiple times by Bill
34:06 Clinton telling them that they that NATO
34:08 wouldn't expand to their doorstep and
34:10 then doing exactly that. They have no
34:12 reason to trust us
34:15 anymore. Again, go back to the agreement
34:18 that happened with um with Gorbachev and
34:20 Bush Senior. NATO will not move one inch
34:24 further. That was the quote. There were
34:26 what 16 NATO countries back then. Now
34:28 there were 32. And you mentioned suppose
34:32 China or Russia was in the the Gulf of
34:34 America or or up in you here. Let's go
34:38 back to the Vietnam War, which I grew up
34:40 during. I'm the same age as Trump.
34:44 They uh what? They they they they
34:47 attacked an American ship in the Gulf of
34:49 Tonkan. What the hell are we doing?
34:51 Massive false false flag. Yeah. Yeah.
34:53 Yeah. Matter of fact, I wrote about that
34:55 and this is a best-selling book, one of
34:56 my books, Trends 2000. How McNamera, the
34:59 defense secretary, lied about that and
35:02 made up the whole thing about the
35:03 Vietnam War. And again, what the hell
35:06 are we doing over there? Oh, it's okay.
35:07 We could be there. We could be anywhere
35:10 we want. Hey, yeah, but how about if
35:12 they're down here? Well, no, they're not
35:14 allowed to be down here. Don't you know
35:15 who we are? That is disgusting. And
35:19 again, Trump, I'm the same age as Trump.
35:22 Trump got four or five draft affirments.
35:24 He finally got out with a bone
35:27 spur. They're just like that little
35:29 clown boy uh bite. Same thing. These
35:32 little war mongering freaks, Bill
35:34 Clinton, one after another. They love
35:37 war, but they don't go fight. I say
35:40 anybody that supports a war overseas, go
35:43 over there, send your money, your wife,
35:44 your kids, your transgenders, go get
35:46 dressed up in a drag, go fight or shut
35:48 your mouth. Every one of these little
35:51 slime ball politicians, go over there
35:53 and fight what you believe in or shut
35:56 up.
35:58 Did you see this little clown boy, this
36:00 fine Randy fine over in Florida? Yeah.
36:05 That we should nuke Gaza. Yeah.
36:08 Brilliant. Yeah, let's let's let's drop
36:10 a nuclear weapon on Gaza. That would
36:15 Yeah, because it you haven't brought
36:16 enough destruction and death and the
36:18 killing of
36:19 civilians. Uh maybe that'll maybe
36:21 that'll finally It's not enough to use
36:24 bunker busting bombs to go after Hamas
36:26 tunnels. No, you need to use nuclear
36:27 weapons. Let's do that. Um let's wipe
36:30 off the entire Middle East while you're
36:32 at it. And uh you know it's these people
36:37 these people have no idea what they're
36:39 playing with. Um and you know we are
36:41 vehemently an anti-war show. We are a
36:43 pro peace show. And I just don't
36:46 understand the madness. I think it's I I
36:49 you know I've I've been really
36:50 contemplating a lot of this lat. I
36:51 really think it's like
36:53 a it's a soulless sort of Satanism
36:56 that's taken over. Um because I don't
36:59 know how you could sit there in public,
37:00 go on television and say we should drop
37:02 a nuc first of all, yeah, drop a nuclear
37:04 bomb like that those words would come
37:06 out of your mouth and that you would
37:08 think that that's okay and you could
37:09 just go on Fox News and just say that
37:11 Randy fine. I think there's a I think
37:14 it's demonic. I really think I really
37:16 think these people are controlled by
37:18 some really dark forces. To me, it's
37:20 like a spiritual battle at this point.
37:22 As I said to you, if if the royal family
37:25 was Italian, they'd call them a mafia.
37:27 They're crime syndicates. These are
37:29 evil, narcissistic people. By their
37:32 deeds, you shall know them. If they
37:35 weren't if they were if they were, you
37:38 know, thieves or murderers, you know, in
37:41 a in a neighborhood, you don't ask them
37:44 why they're crazy or thieves. These are
37:47 evil people running the world. Yeah. And
37:51 and it's it's that kind of again an
37:54 Eisenhower
37:56 quote. He said any man seeking the you
38:00 can look it up. Any man seeking the
38:02 office of
38:06 president is
38:10 either
38:12 crazy or an egoomaniac.
38:15 Right.
38:18 And again going back to what what was
38:21 saying before what Roosevelt did and
38:23 anybody could look it up. He seized all
38:25 Japanese assets because and this this is
38:29 I said when all else fails they take it
38:31 to war. The the Great Depression was
38:33 going on because the
38:36 French Japanese were going into French
38:39 Indochina. Oh and then the UK and the
38:43 Dutch East Indies. Dutch East Indies.
38:45 What the hell are the Dutch doing in
38:48 Indonesia? The three of them, UK, Dutch,
38:52 and America, cut off three
38:55 quarters of Japanese trade as a result
38:59 of that. And you ready? 88% of their
39:02 imported oil. Japan imports 100% of
39:06 their oil. Can't understand why they
39:08 bomb Pearl Abas six months later.
39:11 Yeah, it's a mystery. Yeah. Again, I
39:14 didn't know this until about three
39:16 years, four years ago. Again, Google up
39:19 Franklin Roosevelt seizes Japanese
39:21 assets. Comes out of history today.
39:23 Mainstream.
39:25 Mainstream. I didn't know this. No, I
39:28 think a lot of people didn't know about
39:30 Pearl Harbor. I think you're, you know,
39:32 people people's minds would be blown to
39:34 think that, oh, it wasn't a surprise
39:36 attack. We knew it was coming. Yeah, we
39:39 knew we knew days ahead of time that
39:41 this was coming, that the attack on
39:42 Pearl Harbor was happening. There was a
39:44 reason we didn't move ships out of
39:46 there. We moved a few, but we we
39:48 purposefully kept ships there to be
39:49 sitting ducks and be targeted. It's a
39:51 perfect catalyst. It's a per just like
39:54 October 7th. They knew it was coming.
39:56 It's a perfect catalyst to then launch a
39:59 massive military campaign to further
40:02 your interests. So October 7th was
40:05 absolutely a gift to Netanyahu and he
40:08 knew it was coming and uh it was like
40:10 you know it was like a Christmas
40:11 present. It was like a Hanukkah present
40:13 to Netanyahu. Same thing with
40:16 Absolutely. Absolutely. Again what
40:18 you're talking about people don't know
40:20 have no idea at all. No idea at all.
40:24 They also don't know that FDR
40:26 purposefully only focused on Hawaii but
40:28 didn't really didn't mention in his
40:30 address at all the Philippines and the
40:31 other islands that were attacked.
40:33 There's a specific reason that that was
40:35 left out of his address when he frame
40:38 famously uh said we have nothing to fear
40:40 but fear itself. Didn't even really talk
40:42 about I think three or four different
40:45 targets that the that the Japanese had
40:47 hit that day. Was all part of a plan.
40:49 you focus on Hawaii because if you
40:51 dilute that message to the American
40:53 people, they're not going to rally
40:54 around you and want to go to war. So,
40:57 ignoring the Philippines, ignoring I
41:00 think American Samoa and a couple of
41:01 other targets on that particular day.
41:03 Forgive me for not hitting those exact
41:06 um exact names of those islands, but it
41:09 wasn't just Hawaii that was hit. Um but,
41:11 you know, that's what FDR focused on to
41:13 rally the American people around that
41:15 cause. So you can't dilute that message
41:17 when you're trying to build up a case
41:18 for war, right?
41:21 Yep. No, no. You're what you're saying
41:22 people have no idea about. And it's so
41:25 sad. As I say, when all else fails, they
41:27 take it to war. Hey, what followed
41:28 the.com bust? Oh, the war on terror. The
41:32 war in Iraq. Yeah, you're right. So now
41:35 we're facing another.com bust according
41:37 to you and Yep. com bust 2.0
41:42 and we'll head to war. Yep. Look at
41:45 Trump. He's he he sold himself as a
41:47 peace candidate. And look what we we're
41:49 going to annihilate the people in Yemen.
41:51 He comes out and says later. And hey,
41:54 you elect me. I'm going to end that
41:55 Ukraine war in 24 hours. All right. Hey,
41:58 now that I'm in office, I'm going to end
41:59 that war before I get into office. All
42:01 right. I mean, you can't make this stuff
42:04 up. I mean, it's
42:05 a it's again, it's one after another.
42:09 This is the people that get into
42:10 politics. They're either egoomaniacs or
42:13 crazy. Oh, I love that. I would love to
42:16 be able to ask JD Vance that question if
42:17 he runs for president. So JD, you know,
42:20 President Eisenhower said that you're
42:21 either crazy or an egoomaniac if you
42:23 want to run for president. What are you,
42:24 crazy or an
42:26 egoomaniac? Be a great question, Gerald.
42:29 Great to see you. You're not crazy and
42:31 you're not an egoomaniac. Um and you
42:33 call you hold truth to power. We love
42:36 having you on. Um we love your we love
42:38 your forecasts. um for people who want
42:40 to take advantage of it and uh and
42:42 subscribe to the Trends Journal. We'll
42:44 have a link in the description below. It
42:45 publishes once a week. Very inexpensive
42:47 when you compare it to like the Wall
42:49 Street Journal or the New York Times or
42:51 anything. I read it every week. I love
42:52 it. Um and we'll have a link in the
42:54 description. I think it's
42:57 redacted.trends for people to subscribe.
42:59 Uh Gerald, any final thoughts? Any final
43:01 words as we head into the end of 2025?
43:05 Yeah, we're ve we're still very bullish
43:06 on gold. You know, one of our top trends
43:09 in 2024 was a golden year for gold. Uh
43:12 back then, gold was selling for a little
43:15 over $2,000 an ounce and now exploded.
43:19 Who knows? Yeah. And it's going to keep
43:22 going up. There's no We
43:24 see essentially hitting could well hit
43:28 $4,000 an ounce now. And again, the
43:31 deeper the dollar falls, the higher gold
43:33 prices go. And the death of the dollar
43:35 has begun. It's only going to come. And
43:37 by the way, the United States did what
43:40 our founding fathers fought against the
43:42 country called the
43:44 UK.
43:45 The the the British pound died because
43:49 of all the wars that they kept fighting.
43:52 And then after World War I, that was the
43:54 end of the pound and the dollar came in.
43:57 The United States became that country
43:59 with all the wars that we keep fighting.
44:01 What are they putting? a trillion
44:02 dollars into the defense budget as our
44:05 infrastructures rotting in front of our
44:08 eyes. Look at the look at the potholes
44:11 and the roads everywhere, the bridges.
44:13 Look at take it the the the subway in
44:16 New York is a night in Kolkata. Amtrak.
44:19 How about AM crap? Look at the joke this
44:22 is.
44:23 So, what we're saying is that they're
44:26 going to do everything they can to
44:29 artificially prop up the economy and
44:31 they're going to keep doing everything
44:32 they can to lower interest rates. It's
44:35 going to happen. Trump did it before.
44:38 He'll do it again. The lower interest
44:39 rates fall, the deeper the dollar falls,
44:42 the deeper the dollar falls, the higher
44:45 gold prices go. And by the way, if there
44:47 weren't these uh cryptoc
44:50 currencies, gold prices would probably
44:53 be double what they are now. And we've
44:55 been bullish on Bitcoin since 2017. And
45:00 we said when Trump got into office, but
45:02 we we it's right there. We said the
45:04 prices are going to rocket up. They're
45:06 up some 50% Bitcoin from where it was
45:09 before Trump got elected.
45:12 Yeah. And it's going to continue to go
45:13 higher. Yep.
45:15 Um, Gerald, great to see you. Always
45:18 great to have you here on the show.
45:19 Again, we'll have a link in the
45:20 description. Subscribe to the Trends
45:22 Journal. Thank you so much for
45:23 everything you do, Gerald. And being a
45:24 voice for peace. Um, very few voices
45:27 like yours out there pushing for peace,
45:29 ending these wars. So, thank you for
45:31 that. Thanks, Gerald. And thank you so
45:32 much for YouTube, too, the people that
45:34 you have on and what you're doing. I
45:35 mean, there's it's one of a kind, and

45:39 thank you so much for what you're doing.
