Ladies and gentlemen.
The upcoming endfield Beta 2 will introduce 9 new playable characters to the game.
And some are familiar faces Arknights players surely recognize.
So in this video, let's see what's the story of these new characters,
based on the information we had so far before Beta 2 and full release.
Let's start with the new 4 star operators in this game.
In case you haven't heard, all of the 4 star from Beta 1 have their rarity increased to 5 star.
And now the game gives us new operators in the 4 star rarity.
Supposedly they are the equivalent of OG Arknights 3 or 4 star operators.
That you will either get free, or easy to obtain through gacha.
All of the new 4 star operators are members of Endfield industries.
Specifically they are the members of endfield operation team Z7.
And all of them wear what appears to be a custom made endfield industries uniform.
Okay, like most teams you have a team captain. And in this case it's Akekuri.
Akekuri also known as Shiba Momiji,
is a perro, The race in arknights universe that is based on dogs.
She is a cheerful young lady who once volunteered to join Endfield as a
probationary operator, after graduating from a newly mentioned Neo Tsukushi business school.
And then a relatively short time after joining endfield.
Akekuri built team Z7 from the ground up, from recruitment to training,
and eventually leading the team on her own.
And this team has a remarkable achievement in their various operations.
In gameplay she is a vanguard with heat damage. And use a one handed sword as a weapon.
Befitting her lore as a team captain and team player,
Her role in gameplay is someone who can support the whole team by generating skill points.
Moving on to another member of Z7, we have Estella, full name Estella Kerr.
Estella is a feline, arknights race that is mostly based on domestic cats, or the big cats.
According to Estella, when she was little,
she and her family frequently moved from one place to another.
And before joining endfield, it appears she has
worked for Talos general chamber of commerce, and United worker syndicate
She is noted to be physically weak,
and has always been followed by danger and misfortune since she was small.
Which is why she appears to be a bit gloomy, tired and is desensitized to some extreme situations.
She is also said to have a sharp tongue,
and tend to say some dark humor, which might push strangers away.
And out of all things, she is a fan of heavy metal music.
Because according to her lore, her many encounters with danger and extreme situations have numbed
her sense so much, to the point the only thing that can stimulate her,
is Black Sabbath.
As for her job in endfield.
According to the available lore,
she has a remarkable record at Intel gathering and scout missions.
And was probably chosen to be a member in Akekuri's team because of that.
In gameplay she is a guard with cryo damage, And uses a polearm as a weapon.
Moving on, we have catcher. with his ID name being Ruy van Catcher.
And he is a perro like Akekuri.
He was said to be born from a military family within Talos general chamber of commerce.
His current lore also mentioned a childhood accident, that shaped the man he is today.
It is said that among all the Z7 members, he is the youngest,
but is also said to be the most mature compared to the rest.
In the team he is responsible for giving cover, and also handling logistics.
He is also noted to be a good cook, and can make field meals tailored to everyone's needs.
In gameplay he is a defender operator, with physical damage.
His main weapon is a great sword.
He also uses a shield, befitting his role as the team's defender.
Next up we have Fluorite, who is often called Endfield Übel,
because well they do look and behave alike.
At first glance Arknights players might think she is Gavial's clone from arknights.
But after reading her current lore, Fluorite turns out to be an entirely different person.
The biggest reason is that Fluorite is a Phidia, Arknights race that is based on snakes.
While Gavial is an archosauria, arknights race based on crocodiles.
If that's not a good enough reason,
the current lore also stated that Fluorite came from a frontier settlement in Talos 2.
Where law and order is most certainly not strongly enforced.
Fluorite appears to have a calm but also sly demeanor.
And it is noted that she is familiar with street rules,
and isn't shy from using dirty tricks in battle.
And it appears she is implied to have criminal records.
Despite not coming from a military background like Catcher, It is said
thanks to her wandering lifestyle before joining endfield, she has an exceptional battle instinct,
and has a sharp eye, which also makes her a very good sharpshooter.
At one point it is said she once encourages local civilians to resist and fight back criminal
organization, and help certain endfield members. And after this, Akekuri recommended
Fluorite to Endfield. And eventually joins team Z7
In gameplay she is a caster with nature damage. And dual wields handguns as a weapon.
Moving to the last member of the team, we have Antal.
He is a Savra, arknights race based on Lizards and salamanders.
Antal is believed to be the clone or reconvener of Operator 12F,
due to their similar appearance and race.
But I honestly think he is an entirely new character.
One of the reasons is because so far the game never stated he is a reconvener.
And Based on the first Beta lore, All of the operators who are supposed to be a clone,
should be affiliated with Rhodes Island, But it seems he is only with Endfield.
Furthermore, his current lore also suggests he might be a person born in Talos.
Because the lore mentioned his grandmother, who encouraged him to pursue whatever fascinates him,
and not just focus on conventional success. He also mentioned that back in his school days,
people often complained about his lack of humor.
Anyway, putting aside whether he is a clone or not.
Antal previously worked in Endfield automation research project.
And later join Z7 on Akekuri's recommendation. In gameplay, he is a supporter
operator with electric damage. And uses orbiter, alongside a wand as a weapon
Alright, that's the 4 star and the members of team Z7.
Now let's move to other characters.
Let's talk about the new 5 star introduced to the game, we have Alesh.
Alesh's faction is the United worker syndicate. This one faction works closely with Endfield,
and has a strong presence in the early game story.
So it's good to know we finally got an operator from this faction.
Anyway, Alesh is an anaty. A Race based on animals like raccoon, red panda, wolverine, and otters.
I think they are called Musteloidea, well I'm not a zoologist so let's focus back to Alesh.
Based on his current lore, he came from a messy frontier settlement,
and seems to be involved or at least knowledgeable about its underworld.
And whatever happened in his past, results in him losing his right eye.
By trade he is an angler and fin vendor.
fin is basically the word people in arknights used to call fish.
At one point he joined UWST, and later got recommended by someone named Seagull,
to work at Endfield as a liaison.
He is also capable of covert operation in the frontier settlement when needed.
In gameplay, Alesh is a vanguard with cryo damage. And uses a one handed sword as a weapon.
Next let's see the new 6 star in the game. First let's talk about Last Rite.
Last Rite, real name Adelheid, is a Sarkaz, tied to the new faction called Sesqa.
Specifically she is a Nachzehrer Sarkaz. Supposedly based on Ghouls in Arabic folklore.
In Arknights world, most Nachzehrer are shown wearing white robes that cover their faces.
They also have horns, and a slender yet tall stature.
Weirdly enough, I don't remember Arknights mentioned or show that
they have a tail, but Last Rite has one.
What's more interesting about Last Rite is
how different her personality is from the Nachzehrer we know in Arknights.
I mean, just compare this cutie patotie. to her ancestors from 150 years ago.
Nachzehrer is also one of the Sarkaz tribes that is known to practice cannibalism.
Although I'm not sure if this is cannibalism in the literal sense.
or absorbing creatures in another way.
Anyway, we got info that Last Rite also has this urge.
But it is said that she was adopted by a caprinae couple, arknights race based on goats and sheep.
And shaped by their teachings, she resists her instinct to feed on others.
At one point, the Sarkaz of the floating city found her, which is
probably her current faction called Sesqa. Enticed by a promise of a well paid work,
and training to suppress her Nachzehrer instinct, she decided to join this new faction
Later on she became a brand ambassador for Sesqa. And became known as the princess of the war court.
Her current outfit is a prototype combat suit, made by the witching hour.
an arm manufacturer in Endfield lore,
and some of the gears you can get in the game are also made by them.
As to why she can join Endfield. Well the only info we have so far,
is that she got recommended to work at Endfield by Witching hour business consultant,
most certainly as a liaison. As for gameplay Last Rite
is a Striker with cryo damage. And uses a great sword as a weapon.
Okay that's Endfield blue woman.
Moving on to Pogranichnik.
I hope I spell his codename right.
Pogranichnik, real name Khorsyn, is our newest 6 star in the game.
so far the game has never stated he is a reconvener.
But because of his appearance, race and affiliation with Rhodes Island.
He is believed to be the clone of younger Hellagur from Arknights.
He is a Liberi, Arknights race based on birds. But if he is Hellagur's clone, then he is not
based on any normal birds. But rather, a Hippogriff.
His faction is rather interesting. He is officially stated to be a
Rhodes Island liaison. But it is said he once
served as the banner commander in the order of steel oath, the faction which Ember came from.
During his time in the order of the steel oath. He led these guys, units known as the shield
guard, in Talos northern frontier. Where they work to defend Talosian
from the Aggeloi threat. Beside being a military
commander in the North, in his time there he also worked as a quartermaster and drill instructor.
As to why he joined endfield. According to the available lore,
as the situation in Talos grew complex,
he decided to work together with Endfield industries, as a military consultant.
By the way, you can see Ursus' coat of arms on his outfit and his pocket watch.
The country where Hellagur came from.
As for his gameplay.
Pogranichnik is a vanguard operator with physical damage.
And uses a one handed sword as a weapon. really fitting for his role as a commander.
His ultimate is also interesting, because he will call the shield guard to help in battle.
additionally, you can also Ursus banner for a split second.
Okay, moving on to the last new character, We have Ardelia.
Once again like Pogranichnik, Ardelia is believed to be the clone of Eyja from Arknights.
Well the game doesn't state that she is a reconvener or a clone of Eyja.
But there's so much similarity it's almost impossible to think she is an entirely new person.
Anyway, Ardelia is a Caprinae, and works for Rhodes Island.
She is a geologist expert, who has made
significant contributions to Talos geological research.
And is currently working together with Endfield industries.
The lore also mentioned that Dolly is here in Endfield,
and he and sheep clones also accompany Ardelia. As for who Dolly is, well for this video,
just think of him as a super sheep spirit or ghost in the world of Arknights.
And in gameplay, Ardelia is a nature supporter and use orbiter as a weapon like Gilberta.
But Ardelia's role should be more focused on being a healer.
Whereas Gilberta is leaning more towards crowd control
Alright, that’s all the new operators introduced in Beta 2.
Tell me who’s your favorite.
That should be all. adios.
