last week we took a trip to berlin
here's how we got there first we cycled
to the nearest train station with our
luggage then we parked in the
underground parking garage and went into
the station after a short ride on the
metro we got to amsterdam central station
station
and got on our train it's nice to not to
have to do the driving
after a few hours it was time to have
lunch in the dining car
this train took us directly to berlin
about 6 hours and 15 minutes for the 650
kilometer trip which is faster than driving
driving
and this isn't even a high-speed train
when we got to berlin our train ticket
included free local transportation so we
took the u-bond to our hotel
and we toured the city using public
transportation the whole time
this probably seems pretty normal to
europeans but as someone from north
america it still amazes me that we can
take a trip to another country like this
without ever needing to drive fly or
even take a taxi for any part of the
trip just one of the many things we love
