When you
see people are cheating you,
you don't have to defend.
You don't have to fight.
You don't have to be discouraged.
God fights your battles. Amen. When
Laban was changing the wages again and
again and cheating Jacob, God kept
prospering Jacob. God kept increasing
Jacob. God kept defending Jacob in his
own way, in his own style. When God is
doing the talking, you be quiet. Amen.
You don't have to speak. You don't have
to defend. Amen. Let God speak. Let God
fight. You be still and know your God.
Amen. So that is the conversation Jacob and
and
Laban are having. Now after Laban comes
to conclusion that I cannot take back
Jacob, he gives up and he says let's
have a covenant. Make a covenant that
you will not ill treat my grand my my
daughters. You will take care of them
and you will not fight with me. You will
go in peace because he's afraid of Jacob
because God is with Jacob. God has
prospered Jacob. Amen. So Laban makes a
covenant and Laban leaves. That's in
Genesis 31. I told you at the beginning
God showed me a pattern. When you
persevere, Jacob persevered for how
long? 20 years with Laban. When Jacob
persevered after his perseverance,
we see
Laban the slave master, the greedy
taskmaster, the picture of devil
oppressing through Laban. When he left,
who comes?
Angels come. When Jesus resisted Satan,
who came? Angels came. When Moses
defeated Pharaoh, who came? Angels came.
When Jacob overcame Laban, who comes?
Angels come. And that's the place
Jacob calls Mahanam. Amen. That night,
he sees God's host. Such a beautiful
scripture. When Jacob saw them, he said,
"This is God's camp." He said, "This is
God's host. This is God's camp. And he
called that place Mahanayam. Jacob is
very good at naming names. You remember
the backstory? When he was running from
his brother to meet Laban on the way, he
kept a stone and slept on the pillow and
he saw angels descending up and down
from heaven and below. When he saw the
angels, he saw at the top of the ladder
God saying, "I am with you. I will
increase you. I will prosper you and I
will bring you back to this land. So he
had already seen that place and he had
named that place Bethl, house of God.
And then we see when he parted ways with
Laban, he called another name. He called
that name as Gilead.
He called the names as pineal. He called
the names as Mahanayam. He called his 12
children beautiful names. Reuben,
Simeon, Levi, Judah, Isachure, Gad, Napali,
Napali,
all having such specific beautiful
meanings. So, Jacob is very good at
naming a name with a meaning. So, if
Jacob has named Mahanayam, there has to
be a deep meaning to it. That's the
research I started to do and study and
ask the Holy Spirit to reveal. God
started speaking to me about Mahanayam.
He said mahanayam means in Hebrew two
camps. Show them the Hebrew word. The
Hebrew word is mahanayam. So in your
English Bible, Holy Spirit did not
translate. He just left it as Mahanam.
Two camps, a place east of the Jordan
named from Jacob's encounter with
angels. a levitical city in Gad.
So this is an encounter of angels. When
he saw two camps that is two host of
angels he saw at Mahanayam. He saw two
host of angels. So where are the two
host of angels? Probably he saw one host
legion of angels starting say if this is
your east to north to west another host
from west to south to east encamped how
do I say that it's not there in the
bible I perceive it because in psalm 34
it says the angel of the lord encamps
those who fear them because the angels encamp
encamp
the two camps here is one camp in the
front and the other camp at the back saying
saying
to Jacob, "Jacob, I am going before you,
preparing a way for you. So you don't
have to worry about Esau as I was with
you with Laban for the last 20 years."
He is a rare God. Amen. What is rare
God? He's behind you guarding you. You
don't know the blind spot. You don't
know things what's happening behind you.
You cannot see. But then the Lord who is
behind you protects you. Amen. So he
sees the two camps. He sees two host of
angels. What could that be? The God of
the angels and the angels of God could
be the two host of angels. Two host of
angels in front of Jacob. Now Jacob sees
that and he says, "I remember at Bethl
you showed me angels coming up and down.
This is a better place. They are not
just coming up and down from heaven to
earth. This time they are down with me
on my side." Amen.
They are with me on my side standing
front of me and they are behind me. He's
even more encouraged and he remembers
the angels that he saw before at Bethl.
Now at Mahanayam he sees two camps, two
host of angels.
Now why two host of angels?
Why not three host of angels? PPA
commentary. I asked this question to
God. God, why only two host of angels?
When you study next portion, you see
Jacob divides his group. He has huge
male servants, maid servants, animals,
children, two wives. He divides them
into two groups. After seeing the two
host of angels, he divides them into two
groups. He thinks if Esau comes to kill,
probably one group will die, other group
will live. His faith is growing. Please
don't condemn him. His faith is growing.
By the end of the journey, he's grown in
faith. Amen. So he divides them into two
groups. So I was asking God, why two
host of angels and not three host of angels?
angels?
Because God always is a trinity god.
Father, son and holy spirit, spirit,
soul, body. So it has to be in three
parts. So I remembered that Holy Spirit
reminded me when God created angels,
cherubims and saraphins when he created
them, he created three archangels
which we understand from the context of
whole Bible. He created three archangels
Michael, Gabriel and Lucifer. Lucifer
Lucifer
disobeyed God. He and his host of angels
they all went against God and we call
them fallen angels. Now the other two
host that is Michael and Gabriel are
there as the custodians of God. Amen.
They are defenders. Michael goes for
battles. Gabriel goes as a messenger.
Gabriel came with a message to Mary. We
see Gabriel and his host are messenger
angels. Michael goes for the battle. So
we see when Daniel was fasting the uh
the host of angels. Michael fights. When
Daniel is in the lion's den, angels come
shut the mouth of lion's den. They fight
for people of God. So now Lucifer also
had responsibility. His responsibility
was he was actually custodian of God's
righteousness. He was custodian of God's
righteousness. Because of his pride,
evil, supreme evil, supreme evil is
pride. Because of his supreme evil,
pride, he was thrown out of heaven. Now
he instead of being custodian of God's
righteousness, he became opposite. That
is he became accuser of the brethren.
Always accusing you, saying you are not
the righteousness of God. He says that
you are not like Christ. You are not fit
to give authority. You are not having
that caliber to get a job. You are not
having that grace to succeed. He's
accusing you, condemning you constantly
because he is now evil angel from
Lucifer the light. He became Satan the devil.
devil.
Now that he is standing as opposition to
God's people, he is not opposition to
God. He's no match to God. He is not
God's opposition. He's only your
opposition. He is not God's adversary.
He's your adversary because you are
God's beloved. >> Amen.
So he knows that you're the weak link to
God. But there are no weak links to God.
No one can outwit him. No one can thwart
the plans of God. Now this archangel,
the fallen angel Lucifer is not there on
the side of God. So that's why when
Moses built the ark of the covenant, we
see there were two angels, two cherub
angels on the ark of the covenant. When
Jesus rose from the dead in the tomb,
when the women went, they saw two
angels. One at the head, one at the leg.
I see them as two camp of angels. One at
the head, one at the leg. Two camp of
angels. Where's the third camp?
Rebellion. Third camp is not there.
Lucifer is not there. So Jesus is the
ark of the covenant. When Jesus rose
from the dead, angels were there. At the
head, at the feet. Amen.
Amen.
>> Wow. Right. Now, where is the ark?
Where is the ark? Where is Christ?
Where is Christ for given generation?
You all should say loud and clear yes
Christ is in me. Amen. Now Christ is in
you. Ark is in you. That means where is
where are the angels? Where are the two
camps? Where is the archangel Gabriel?
Where is the archangel Michael? They are
on your side. They are next to you. They
are for you because ark is in you.
Christ is in you. Amen. Now the third
camp that is the third archangel Lucifer
was was supposed to be the custodian of
righteousness. So God gave this
revelation PPA commentary
revelation that you know what the
restoration to what Adam did. He
rebelled. Adam disobeyed God basically
because he was deceived. Adam did not
give the honor and obedience to God and
Satan did not give the honor and
obedience to God. Both of them Adam out
of his free will sinned against God.
Satan angel out of his free will sinned
against God. Now restoration is always
greater greater than what you lost. The
son of man, Jesus Christ, a
representative of all human race,
representative of you and me, the last
Adam, gave 100% obedience, 100% honor,
gave complete will to the father. He
restored back what Adam lost. And what
Satan did not do, he restored back by
giving God another host of angels. What
is that? Church of God.
>> Church of God is the host of angels. You
and I are the host of angels. Now what
we do? We help the body of Christ.
We serve the body of Christ. We do all
the work partnering with the other two archangels.
archangels. >> Amen.
>> Amen.
>> Amen. And who is the head? Who is the head?
head?
There is someone greater than the
archangel. We call him as the Lord of
angel armies, the Lord of Sabath. He is
the Lord Jesus, the head of the church.
We are his body. Amen. So now we
understand that Satan and his minions
rebelled and they are fighting with
another army that God has raised. We are
the other army of God. Ephesians 6. We
are the host of angels of God. Now we
are standing against Satan and his
minions. He has no choice but to obey us
because we are devil's masters. We are
sons of God. Our captain is our Lord
Jesus, our elder brother who crushed his
head on the cross of Calvary. Amen. Now,
we are the substitution restitution
restitution
to God. Amen. That is what Jesus did.
Amen. So the church of God is another
host. So every time God sees you, what
he says? You are the righteousness of God.
God.
>> Because Lucifer was the custodian of
righteousness. Now you are the custodian
of righteousness. Don't go to your
brother and sister and say you are
condemned. You are another denomination.
You don't know the word. Don't condemn
anyone. Don't say you're not wearing
scarf. Don't condemn anyone. Don't
condemn for law. Don't condemn for
grace. We are not on the side of
Lucifer. We are on the side of Jesus. We
are custodian of God's righteousness.
Irrespect of your background, your
denomination, your understanding, your
doctrine, you are the righteousness of
God. That's what we preach. That's what
we believe. We are not here in the law
camp or grace camp. We are here only for
one camp. That is Jesus camp. Amen. It
is Jesus camp. We are on the side of
Jesus. Jesus is our captain of host, the
Lord of Sabowoth. Amen. Altogether a big
message. Lord of Sabowoth for some other
day. So let me continue with Mahanayam.
Mahanayam two camps. I see this two
camps here revelation to Jacob because
Jacob had huge responsibility.
He had one group, another group, and
he's so afraid of Esau. But then God
said, "Don't worry. I have sent an angel
before you to keep you and to prepare a
way for you." God already sent an angel
before Jacob could come to Mahanayam.
Did you see angels were already waiting?
Wow. Before your train, your plane
reaches your destination, your angels
are already there, prepared away for
you. Amen. They are on time, punctual
because of God's word. They are not
late. I said they are like robots. They
are punctual. The moment God's word is
spoken, they just go there. Amen. So,
they were already there at Mahanayam.
So, this is an encouragement for every
one of us. If you are at the crossroads
like Jacob, if you're afraid of your
future because of your past, of Esau or
anything, you're afraid of Esau in front
of you, just remember the God who was
faithful with Laban's case will go
before you and has prepared a way for
you. When you have dual responsibility,
when you say, "I have so many things to
take care. I need to take care of my ill
mother. I need to take care of my job. I
need to take care of my children. I need
to take care of such a big ministry. I
need to take care of my young baby. I
need to take care of my office. Whatever
responsibilities are overwhelming you.
If you have two huge responsibilities,
if you have double responsibility, if
you say too much of load is on me, God
says I have given you two camp, two host
of angels. Come to Mahanayam. Amen. See
there God has given you help. Amen. God
has given you help beloved people. And
this word Mahanayam, this is such a
powerful meaning that it has and the
geographical location is also so
powerful. We see King David coming to
Mahanaya. You know when he comes when
his son Abselum becomes evil. He's got
evil in his heart from before. His eye
was on the throne. He wanted to take
away the kingdom from David.
Now he
drives David
from his own palace. Who could do that?
Only his near one, his beloved son, his
firstborn son Abselum drives David out
of the palace. No one could do that to
David. No one can defeat David. David
and his mighty men are very very strong.
Only Abselum could do that. Abselum
drives David, his own son, drives David
out. Now David is going to be looking
like going to be dethroned. He's going
to lose his position.
Now David is running from Abselum.
David comes to a place called Mahanayam.
Let's see that scripture and then I'll
explain it to you. 2 Samuel,
let's all see that
chapter 17 27 onwards. Now it happened
when David had come to Mahanayam that
Shobi the son of Nahash from Raba of the
people of Ammon Makay the son of Amiel
from Labar and Barzili the Gileadite
Stop there. So David runs from his son
and he comes to Mahanayam. Where he came
to? Could you please repeat after me?
Mahanayam. He came to Mahanayam. And
there David sees people come to him. Who
come to him? People called Shobi Maharili.
They come to help. And what help they
bring to a poor king in the wilderness.
Next verse. Brought beds and basins,
earn vessels and wheat, barley and
flour, parched grain and beans, lentils
and parched seeds, honey and curd, sheep
and cheese of the herd for David and the
people who were with him to eat. For
they said, "The people are hungry and
When David comes to Mahanayam,
when you are at the crossroads in your life,
life,
when you're betrayed by your loved ones,
when you're left with nothing, when you
feel there is no help, God always sends
his angels for your help. Here, these
were not the host that came from heaven.
They were the host, the people of God.
Amen. God sends the people of God. The
people of God, God stirred their heart.
Who comes to help David? They see David
has no bed. David's men have no food.
They are thirsty. They are in
wilderness. They are hungry. So David
is Admahan and all the neighboring
leaders. Shi was a leader of Ammonites.
Shobi son of Nahash. David was kind to
his father. So Shobi comes to help. Next
Makay comes from Lo Dabar. I should give
you backstory of Makay. You know who was
Makay? Makayh from Lord Dabar. You
understand Lord Dabar? He was the loyal
servant of King Saul. When King Saul
dies, he misunderstands David. He thinks
probably David will kill Saul's
descendants that is Mephibos 8-year-old
young son of Saul might be killed
probably eight maybe less than that. So
that kid is taken from the palace and
the maid the servant when she runs she
drops him and you know the backstory
I've taught you in another sermon the he
she drops him and then he loses his
legs. This servant loyal servant of Saul
Saul was enemy of David he was when Saul
died though the fortunes were not there
though there was no property yet he was
loyal that's called loyalty he was loyal
to Saul's son Mephiboshed grandson D
Jonathan's son Mephibos now David shows
kindness to me now Makiah who was loyal
to Saul now becomes loyal to David. He
says, "David, there's no one with you.
All the years I misunderstood you. I
thought you are after me. I ran away and
I hid me from you and I raised him up in
a place called Loabar." A beautiful
revelation of Loabar. I think you
there's another message of mine uh in
that you can listen. The Loabar the
Hebrew meaning is no word. There was no
word about father's love. So he
misunderstood David. Now we see that
this makar gets to know David. He comes
to help David.
He is a ammonite.
Shobi comes. Amile mak from Lord Dabar
comes. And Barzilla
he's a wealthy man. Gileadite. He's from
Gilead. Agile Gilead. Basically, Holy
Spirit is telling they were all not Israelites,
Israelites,
right? They all came. Who were with
David? Only his mighty men, his faithful
men are with David in Mahanayam. And
Ammonite, Gilead, Amiel,
Amiel,
they come to help David and they give
food, bed and all the requirements to
David. and they are with David. And
finally, the story ends in a way that
David's mighty men, they defeat Abselum.
They kill Joab kills Abselum.
And then David goes back as a king on
the throne with heavy heart. His one of
his men disobys David and kills his son.
So we see here at Mahanayam, God sent
help for David.
This story is so situational.
I want to tell every one of you
when you are running and at the
crossroads, you don't know the way out
there. You don't know what lies ahead of
you. And when you have persevered, when
you overcame
Moses, David, Jesus, Jacob overcame,
angels come. Host of angels we saw in
the story of Jesus. Host of angels we
saw in the story of Moses. Angel not
that we saw Jesus. God said the angels
will go before you. Host of angels we
saw in the story of Jacob. Now we see
not the host of angels from heaven, host
of angels from earth comes to help. So
Mahanam is a place where God sends his
angels and his people.
His angels come to help and his people
come to help. All three archangels are
there with you for your help. So you
need to know this revelation so that it
will not be automatic but you receive it
meaning you take it you say mahanayam is
my place. Amen. His support the host of
angels are in my favor at my disposal.
When you know the truth it helps you to
receive from God. Amen. This message was
so situational for me today being the
last Sunday in this old location. We are
going to a new place. It's totally a new
location. I had no plans to go there.
Frankly speaking, I had some other plans
to go to some other location in
Bangalore city. But then God said you
must go there. I said okay God I choose
to obey you. And God is taking us to
another location
and God told you will experience Mahanayam.
Mahanayam.
You will see church is growing there.
lot of uh lot of demand on the ministry
from all over the world and God was just
encouraging me saying the angels of God
will do the work to fulfill the call of
God. Amen. And I see
every one of you all of you watching us
online and seated here in house you were
those host of angels sent to forgiven
generations. You came in wilderness. Our
church is literally in wilderness.
But you came and you said I will stand
with you. You came and you said we honor
the word. Amen. We honor the word. We
are not here for male pastor or women
pastor. We are here for the word. Amen.
We are here for Christ in you. Amen. So
I really appreciate every one of you for
seeing us grow from our small beginnings
to a better location that we are going.
God sent not only his host of angels for
help, he sent every one of you for help.
Your very presence, your association,
your prayers, your cooperation, your
partnership is nothing but the host of
angels here on earth standing with
forgiven generation. Amen. I really see
the angels of God here in every one of
you. Thank you beloved online audience
for believing in us, for standing with
with us, for knowing that God is with
us. Amen. at Mahanayam God will send his
help because God's beloved is there.
Amen. Church, if you believe you're
God's beloved like David, you will
experience people, all the people from
different backgrounds, all the people
from different regions come to David to
help. You will experience this help this
week. This word has come in season for
me, has come in season for our church.
Every one of you hearing us, it is a se,
it is word in season for you. Whatever
crossroads you're going in your life,
whatever dual responsibility,
heavy load that you're facing, may you
know God has promised to give his host
of angels to help you and the people
will be still in their hearts to come
and stand with you and help you to
fulfill God's call in your life. Amen.
Give God the glory for the host of
angels. The God of the host of angels is
here and the host of God is here along
with the new creation the body of
Christ. Together let us proclaim, let us
speak, say God's word. And you all say
amen along with angels. The Lord has
blessed you. The Lord has lifted his
countenance on you. The Lord is gracious
to you. You shall always be the head and
not the tail. You shall always be above
and never below. You shall lend and
shall never borrow. Whatsoever your hand
does, it shall prosper. Your children
are mighty in the land and they are
guarded by the angels. No Jericho, no
giant, no Red Sea can never stand before
you because the God of angel armies goes
before you. Because Christ is in you,
you're becoming stronger, younger,
healthier, and more beautiful for the
glory of the Lord. The love of the
Father, the grace of our Lord Jesus
Christ, and the sweet communion of the
Holy Spirit is always with us now and
forever more. Amen.
