0:22 pinterest in today's video i want to
0:25 talk about
0:25 something that may have happened to your
0:27 account and that happened to a lot
0:29 of my own accounts this week we are
0:31 today july
0:32 2nd 2021 and this might have happened to
0:35 you over the last few days and that is
0:38 your account being suspended on
0:39 pinterest something happened here
0:41 where pinterest was doing some updates
0:43 they did
0:44 a whether they did like updates on their
0:47 software on their back end
0:48 or they just marked a whole bunch of
0:50 accounts as spam
0:51 either way one of those two things
0:53 happened maybe both things happened
0:55 and as a consequence a lot of pinterest
0:58 accounts either got suspended by
1:00 accident
1:01 because they were considered spam by
1:03 accident
1:04 or you may have seen your tailwind
1:06 account disconnect from your pinterest
1:08 account
1:09 now about half of my personal clients
1:12 have had
1:12 their tailwind account disconnected from
1:14 pinterest so we went ahead and
1:16 reconnected all of those
1:17 and then we went ahead and clicked the
1:20 appeal
1:20 link in the email for any accounts that
1:24 were also
1:24 marked as spam let me show you in the
1:27 computer exactly what i mean
1:29 so once you are logged into
1:32 your email and you may or may not have
1:34 received this email where it says your
1:36 push account has been suspended
1:38 these are the exact guidelines you need
1:41 to take so really what all you need to
1:42 do
1:43 is click this link over here if you
1:45 think
1:46 if you believe this is an error please
1:48 click this link
1:50 and then it will appeal now i've already
1:52 done this so it's going to show up
1:54 like i can't do it because i've already
1:55 done it but that's exactly what you need
1:58 to do and then you need to wait it out
2:00 and in most cases they've actually been
2:04 let me turn the camera talk to you but
2:06 in most cases they actually have been
2:08 reinstating pitches accounts like really
2:10 really quickly as soon as you pretty
2:12 much click that link within a few hours
2:14 you should be able to see your account
2:15 back up really fast so that's
2:17 great news at least the important thing
2:19 here when your account does get
2:21 suspended this isn't going to be the
2:22 first time this isn't going to be the
2:23 last time
2:24 maybe it is the first time but it might
2:26 not be the last time the important thing
2:27 to remember is not to panic
2:29 to follow their guidelines and if they
2:32 don't
2:32 seem to be responding to your requests
2:36 then you can go ahead and submit a
2:37 ticket with the pinterest help
2:39 center so let me show you how to access
2:41 the pinterest help center so you can
2:42 submit a ticket
2:44 if we google pinterest
2:48 help center and you click contact us
2:52 right over here
2:53 all you have to do is submit an appeal
2:55 so you would go under appeal
2:58 over here um and usually you would click
3:01 you know appeal account suspension and
3:03 then you will go ahead and just like
3:04 continue and fill out
3:06 um the form so the name of the last name
3:08 you know all that stuff and then you
3:10 would continue until you press
3:11 submit at the end and that's how you
3:13 would appeal
3:15 um your account suspension so
3:18 at least that's a possibility for you
3:20 too if you
3:22 feel as though that clicking the link
3:25 that i showed you earlier in the email
3:26 was not enough you might be wondering
3:28 why this happens
3:29 i can't answer that question i don't
3:31 know why they put innocent accounts in
3:33 spam and they suspend accounts
3:35 for no reason um all i can tell you
3:39 is that when it does happen you have to
3:40 weather the storm be calm
3:42 and know that eventually you will get
3:45 your account back and that everything
3:46 will be perfectly
3:48 okay now if your tailwind account got
3:50 disconnected this is how you can you
3:52 reconnect it
3:53 it's literally two simple steps open two
3:56 separate tabs
3:57 on one tab log into your tailwind
3:58 account on the other tab log into your
4:00 pinterest account
4:02 once you're back into your tailwind
4:03 account you can click the big red button
4:06 that says reconnect my pinterest account
4:09 it will open up a window
4:10 that says give access in red to sync
4:13 both your channel and your pinterest
4:15 again all you have to do is click the
4:16 give access
4:17 reload your tailwind account and
4:19 everything should be back to normal
4:21 as if nothing had happened during this
4:24 time period you also have to keep in
4:26 mind
4:26 that there's a very high chance that a
4:27 lot of your pins didn't get published
4:29 while your account was disconnected and
4:31 so they're going to show up as
4:33 um accounts as a pins that didn't get
4:36 published to taiwan
4:37 so all you have to do is go back to
4:40 that section and re-add them to the
4:43 queue so they can eventually get
4:44 published within the queue let me see if
4:46 i can
4:46 show you an example so there's a really
4:50 good example on my personal
4:52 account my personal account actually got
4:54 added to the spam
4:55 um and so my tailwind also disconnected
4:58 so as you can see over here it says four
5:00 fill pins because
5:02 i they just didn't they didn't publish
5:04 well my
5:05 account was disconnected from pinterest
5:07 so once i reconnected it
5:08 i was able to see my queue again i was
5:10 able to see the four failed pins and now
5:12 i clicked on that
5:13 and all you have to do is click the
5:14 button here that says re-cue all
5:17 and they'll be added back to your q as
5:18 you can see this is going to jump from
5:20 91 to 95
5:21 and now my q is back to normal
5:23 everything is all
5:24 good again so i wanted to kind of like
5:27 vlog this experience in real time so you
5:29 can
5:29 have an example of exactly what you
5:32 should be doing
5:33 from an expert from somebody who has to
5:35 do this for their clients too
