All right everybody, Boilon here back
for a video on Danger Room. Now, um I'm
going to be separating this video into
two parts and I'm not here to do a full
playthrough, right? I don't think that's
going to bring a lot of great value in
my opinion to people watching me do a
run. The run may not be perfect and so
on and so forth. Um so, what we're going
to be doing is we're going to be talking
about what you should be doing to make
things a little bit easier for you. And
then in the second half of the video,
we're going to be fast forwarding to
basically my clear of when I ended up
doing my D10 clear and what characters I
used and some of the packs I picked up
along the way. Now, uh before we get
started with the video though, I do want
to point out that it can be a little bit
easier to kind of before you do your D10
run and and PS, you don't really need
you don't need to do D11 at all because
the rewards there are no rewards for
doing D11. There's no rankings this time
around. Uh, but what you can do is you
can do D9 and you can farm up some of
the elite nodes. That is something that
I'm going to show you with now in my
main clear run, which I am recording out
of order. I have already cleared it as
of recording this uh section here. But
having speeding ticket is actually
really really helpful because when you
run into super scroll in any of this, if
you get some bad RNG, he is such a pain
in the ass because you tend to pick up
uh mods that give you buffs and things
like that. And by having this, it makes
it a lot easier. You actually don't
need, although it would make it easier,
you don't need to get the caffeinated
one to avoid exhaust because if you're
using Lady Bullseye and any some
combination of immortal weapons, it
actually makes it pretty easy to slice
out um Meisto pretty quickly, especially
with Damon and immortal weapons. But the
speeding ticket one is super important
to have. Some of these other ones are
obviously just icings on the cake. Um,
but if you do want to spend a little bit
of time, like maybe a half hour or less,
just farming up some D9, and I'm going
to show you. It's easier to do this
because D9 and D10 actually have the
same kind of token rewards when you're
doing your first run. So, for me, I went
with Damon. I I use my Damon, of course.
You you can rent them if you want. Um,
and I also did a rental of swordmaster.
As you can see, I'm kind of down a few
tokens anyways because I've been doing
that. So, I don't have Swordmaster
leveled. He's really good. The other
characters that are good, we're going to
be the the new characters from our
mortal weapons, which is going to be
Steel Serpent and Lady Bullseye. But I
just want to show you, for example,
we're just going to do a couple of uh
runs here. Nothing super crazy here. I
just want to show you cuz we're
obviously doing D9. This is a little bit
easier to play. Um, and if you do want
to kind of farm up to about 350 tokens
or so, or whatever you feel like it, you
know, you can do this on D9. I I
probably shouldn't have even bothered
doing that cuz I just wasted that, I
think. So, I probably should have just
basic there. That's my bad. Obviously,
I've already cleared my my danger room
run, so this is just to show you guys a
little bit more. Um, on spawn, offense
down. This is helpful. Also, defense
down is super helpful. Um, especially
with Damon. Damon does so much that
having defense down when he hits into
his skills, if you ever find that, it
just blows them out of the water. Uh,
Damon is really good in uh in danger
room. So, there we go. I didn't get the
offense or they didn't get the offense
down on me. Let's just do this for for
sake of how fast it is to clear this.
And we go that and then they're dead.
And so on the third node, this is my
second clear, right? But every third
node is an elite node or you have you
can do an elite node here. And I always
take this. Um it should be pretty easy
to do. I think you can get ultimate
abilities cost two less. Hey, that's
great. I didn't get that on my actual
clear run. Uh and then you pick the care
package, which is what I'm going to do.
I'm going to pick up a third character,
which unfortunately this time around is
I guess I'll take Iron Fist, but
normally I would take this elite combat.
Um, so this makes it a lot easier. You
can get 50 tokens for doing this. And
just by doing the first three nodes, if
you just want to quote unquote farm
before you do your real run, um, in
which case I wouldn't use rental tokens
if you're doing some farming like this,
um, then you can do this to get ahead.
And I'm just going to go ahead and use
my Damon alt cuz why not? It's going to
blow everyone up. And then we're going
to clear this. And then we're going to
get 50 tokens from that. So this is just
a very easy way and get those elite
nodes very early on to get those 50 gold
tokens because that allows you to build
a you can do this and if you wanted to
reset it at this point and just do that
five times just to get speeding ticket.
I know it's annoying. You don't have to
do it. I actually cleared my run without
speeding ticket. It just makes it
significantly easier if you run into
some bad RNG. you know that you could
even try the next elite combat.
Sometimes it's easy, sometimes it's not
because there was one time on this
fourth node for the elite combat where I
ran into like a bunch of garbage that I
couldn't AoE down. So, that was a bit of
a problem here. This one is not so bad.
I think Kahori will get a couple of No,
one turn first. Oh, cuz I have the
speeding ticket on. Did I put the
speeding ticket on? I don't remember.
She still went first, so maybe not.
Anyways, that's another 50 gold tokens,
right? So, this is that was 120 gold
tokens. That took me I don't know less
than 5 minutes. So, you can easily farm
your way up to both speeding ticket and
caffeinated if that's something that you
want. Um, again, not going into too much
detail here for what I'm picking up
because I've already cleared it. And
we're going to jump ahead to uh my
actual clear run. Holy crap, that's a
lot of uh a lot of boxes. Okay, we're
going to jump to part two of the video.
All right. So, after all of this setup,
I think I got the D10 um winning run,
but I do want to say that I don't
actually have speeding ticket on this
particular run here. I am recording
things a little bit out of order. Um,
however, I do want to share with you
guys some of the mods that I ended up
picking up. Now, I I really hope I win
this actually, but uh this was a very
good run anyways, even if I don't. and I
want to share some of the good stuff,
especially because actually we're going
to look at my team first. So, I did
decide to go with a mix of brimstone and
immortal weapons. Now, my lady Bullseye
is my own character. My uh Damon and
Living Mummy are also my own characters,
but I did use rental Steel Serpent and
Swordmaster because I don't have them
leveled up. Um, Steel Serpent has some
of the best mods actually in Danger
Room. And so, I think that this makes it
significantly easier. He's kind of like
the Franklin Richards of when the
Fantastic 4 had their runs and I want to
kind of showcase some of the ones. I
think they're at the bottom. So, I'm
going to go into full screen mode
actually so you can see a little bit
better. So, Slythering Speed and Nerves
of Steel. These are specific mods for
Steel Serpent. So, you can see here,
Steel Serpent is an ally. On every
immortal weapon allies turn, they all
have a 50% chance to gain assist now,
which is pretty crazy actually. I don't
use any of the Iron Fist though. Um,
slithering speed. If steel serpent is an
ally on spawn, immortal weapons allies
gain 10% speed bar, which is the whole
team, including the brimstone characters
for this run. And when a character with
slow is attacked, give immortal weapon
allies 5% speed bar. So, that adds up
and is quite a bit. Um, some other ones,
I do like the Damon uh mod as well. So,
when an enemy drops below 50% health,
clear death proof from that enemy and
apply speed up and offense up to all
allies. This is very, very good to keep
that train rolling. Some of the
swordmaster ones actually aren't too bad
as well. He's got a couple. I think
there these are maybe these two here.
So, is swordmaster is an ally when an
enemy with defense down is attacked?
Apply stun to that enemy. This might be
bugged. I'm not entirely sure. I don't
know if I was actually seeing the stun
happen as much as it should have. Uh I
heard that this is was it in the
previous version? I heard this is
bugged. Immortal pursuit. If swordmaster
is an ally when a character with defense
down is attacked, the attacking ally
gains revive once. So, I think this does
work. However, extra wrappings. We get
some revive once due to living mummy.
Apply revive once to all allies when he
uses his ultimate. Um, there's some lady
bullseye stuff as well. When a character
with offense down is attacked, that
character bonus attacks the enemy. U, we
have some just very basic stuff that we
picked up from the beginning. Warlock
boon. Now, because I don't have um
speeding ticket, one problem that I did
have in my beginning runs was running
into super scroll because when you pick
up a lot of these boons and stuff that
give you buffs, um without speeding
ticket, you do get really penalized by
picking up this stuff. But still having
onspawn defense up in safeguard, I
really do like Warlock Boon. Some of the
other ones that I picked up, Sinister's
Boon for cloning. Um and then also we
have one thing that I want to point out
is Black Panther's Boon. But another
really really good one is the carnage
boon which should still exist, right? So
when characters get low HP, everybody
gets turn meter and it just really just
snowballs. So um something that's pretty
big. We're going to give this last last
shot or this last level a shot here with
the characters that I have. I'm really
hoping that we do end up clearing it
here today. Trust me, the the rest of
the run went very swell. Um now in terms
of characters that I started with
though, it was Damon and Swordmaster. I
just did a rental swordmaster. I went
Damon and then there you go. Um, so
there is we should be okay even though
some of them might go first. Uh, yeah,
there we go. So, I made sure that I
saved up my Damon ultimate. I have
onspawn offense up. They don't have
onspawn defense down. So, if you do get
that mod that gives the enemy defense
down, that's pretty big thing. But, I'm
hoping that I should still be able to
oneshot somebody on here to trigger a ping.
ping.
We were so close on that void knight.
Why did he not die? Okay. Well, I'm
hoping that we could still Oh my We did.
Oh, he died from a was it like a raider
crit or something like that? Okay. So,
we got a clone.
We got a clone of uh of Kahori. So,
that's kind of interesting because all
these all the assists are kind of
happening now. We're going to go in and
try to get this Odin down ASAP,
right? We should get all the assists as
well. Hopefully, this is something you
could probably RNG as well and just like
reset if it if you didn't get enough
assists at this point. And then I guess
null might be the only other concern
here, but really, okay, we got another
followup with Damon. And so that's
probably all she wrote at this point,
right? There's no way the three of them
are going to like Yeah, it's not Yeah.
No, definitely not happening here. And
we got another turn from Damon. So, we
got that Black Panther boot and they
just got deleted. So yeah, Damon
definitely needs to be on the team and
then just combine that with more
immortal weapons. But I mean, you can do
um a pretty decent combination. There's
lots of different ways that you can beat
this honestly with the team setups. I've
done this with undying the last time uh
it came around. I did this with undying
with a combination with like Zugs, with
zombie juggernaut, um with Hela and
Zombie Kestrel. I you can do this
entirely honestly without immortal
weapons as well. I just think some of
the boounds especially related to Steel
Serpent, Swordmaster, and Lady Bullseye.
Those three together have some really
amazing ones. And so you don't
necessarily have to do that. Might make
your life a little bit easier, but by no
means is it uh required. However,
we are going to pick up our rewards. And
uh which we should have got all them.
And then we're going to roll our X-Men
Diamonds, which I forgot to do in
yesterday's video or even looking at
them. So I am not expecting anything
crazy by any means. But hey, let's pick
up our, you know, our nerf rewards,
right? We talked about that in the
previous video. So, there you go. Um, we
got the last
whatever. We're doing it for the X-Men.
This is the entire thing we're doing for
the X-Men diamond orbs and I guess the
command center objectives, I suppose, as
well. Eight points. I mean, I heard you
can you can just do that from doing
difficulty one, I think, uh, for once.
So, I got my sigils for that. Let's open
up those
should be in here, right?
10 X-Men diamond orbs. 12.5%.
12.5%.
And we have how many characters? 12 16 a lot.
lot.
How many is Holy [ __ ] at 4%. 4 8 12 16
25 X-Men
and no Havoc. That's weird. Why is Havoc
not in here? Uh for the Star Jammers,
we have some super old ass characters.
And I love how they pad these [ __ ]
orbs with [ __ ] characters that are
nowhere near getting a rework. This is
just so stupid. But hey, right? Unless
Rogue, Psylo, Jubilee, Kitty all get a
[ __ ] rework. I mean, this is dog
[ __ ] Sunfire.
What the [ __ ] is this [ __ ] This is so
trash. Okay, I'm expecting the worst.
And we'll see what ends up happening.
Let's Let's go. Okay, orb number one. We
We got a four F forge. Oh my god, guys.
We got a four forge. We got an upgrade.
I hope Forge gets a rework one day,
which I'm probably not going to happen.
Let's Let's see. Can we get a better
character? We got a We got one four. I'm
shocked that even happened. Uh,
hallelujah. We got a three bishop. Oh my
god, that's an upgrade. Probably. Oh no,
we didn't even have diamonds on bishop.
Wow. Okay, are we going to get any other
force here? Probably a three Polaris,
which I don't use because I use Rachel
Summers now. Oh,
baby, we actually got one that we use.
Or at least what I do happen to play
Cosmic Crucible. We do get a four
diamond storm.
We still got five more to go. A scope's
blessing me after all the [ __ ] that I've
given them from the last couple of
weeks. Oh my god. Are we going to get
any more? Are we going to get a golden
five? I don't know. This is like peak
MSF right here. Peak MSF. I am telling
you. I am telling you. Uh last one. And
come on. No, it's a three. Three
Sunfire. So, what did we get here today,
guys? We got that. But we did get a four
uh storm and I guess that's something
that can be used. So for better or for worse.
worse.
Uh let's check out that storm upgrade,
right? I don't have G20, but maybe that
almost makes me want to
like like almost 2 million health. Uh 120k
120k
damage. That was pretty respectable
there for storm.
It's tempting. Oh, that's a [ __ ] ton of
G20s. Okay, maybe not. Uh maybe I'll
give her a purple four though. That
might that that'd be nice, right? Maybe
Storm deserves Oh, it doesn't do damage.
It's just max health. But you know,
maybe maybe she might be deserving of a
purple four. We'll see. Okay, so that
was my We We don't need to see see my
clicking on this stuff right on the
forge. Well, it's not going to really
make him a better character, but there
you go. Uh 33.
Uh that's going to be it now. Um yeah, I
mean, danger room just takes some time,
right? Like I said in my setup, you just
kind of if you need some help, uh, run
D9, especially, it's a little bit easier
to farm the elite nodes. Uh, that's what
sometimes I do in order to farm some
points if I if I want to, right? Or if I
feel I need to at least to get to
speeding ticket or if you want the
speeding ticket and the Meesto exhaust
pack, that really helps as well. Okay,
