without taking much time, let's start the dictation
after 5 seconds. Start Respected friends, Lord Vishnu is the
father of the world.
One day he called Mother Goddess Parvati and said, Goddess,
you have to feed all the living beings of the world.
Food has to be arranged for them. Having
said this, Shiva went into meditation.
Goddess Parvati sat in front of him,
lost in thoughts about how to
arrange food for everyone. Looking at the form of Lord Shiva,
she remained sitting in the same immovable position in front of him for the entire seven days.
Shiva opened his eyes.
He was surprised to see Parvati sitting in front of him in the same manner.
Parvati bowed to him. He
He
wanted to know the reason for Parvati sitting in front of him. Parvati
humbly said, O Father of the world, you have
given me the responsibility of arranging food. Hence, I got
so lost in his worry that I lost track of time. To
arrange for food,
I require from you those things and energy
which are of no use to you in the state of Samadhi. After
listening to Parvati,
Lord Shiva started thinking that what is that thing
which is not useful to me in the state of Samadhi. He
He
asked Parvati to clarify the whole matter. Parvati
said, Swami, I want to use this trident of yours
as a plough. This will
allow the land to be excavated. The soil
can be made suitable for sowing seeds. I will use your unharmed bull for ploughing.
ploughing.
Apart from ploughing the crops, its dung
can also be used as fertilizer. Cowdung gas
can also be produced from its dung. With its help,
water can also be extracted from wells. I will
also take with me your sister Ganga who resides in your matted locks so that her water can be used to
irrigate the fields. I will use these qualities of yours as
laborers in all the work in farming. With
half their bodies covered, they will be able to do their
hard work in the fields in their happy and cheerful postures.
They will
increase the food production by shedding their sweat. Lord Shiva was
listening to the thoughts of Goddess Parvati very attentively. In his
mind, he was
also praising his wisdom. Parvati said,
Swami, to protect the grain plants from rats,
I will place your snakes as guards
in the fields. This Damru of yours will be
useful in protecting the grains from birds.
Hearing his voice they will
not be able to destroy the crops due to fear.
I will use fire and Dhatura to flood the fields. Due to this, the
flood in the field will remain strong and no one will be able to come and go without any reason. Once the
grains are collected, the
ash which you apply on your body will be useful in their maintenance
so that the grains do not rot.
Respected friends, Lord Shiva
smiled after listening to Parvati.
His head swelled with pride at Parvati's thoughts and new understanding.
He himself had never considered
this new aspect of the usefulness of the things which always remain with him.
He felt the
emergence of a new power in the form of Parvati.
This power that nourished the living world was
amazing. The conclusion of the above symbolic story is
that if one works with wisdom and
foresight, a single
object can be used in many ways.
Apart from this, this story also gives the message
that if the powers given to man by God and nature are
fully utilized, then
great things can be done in life. The
irony is that we
neither recognize our powers well
nor know how to use them properly.
We keep destroying them due to ignorance.
If Shiva's trident is a
destructive weapon then it
can also be used as a plough. Hence,
writers have a huge work to do in our society.
His writings should propagate the seventy-two freedoms
which are based on social equality,
secularism and rational thinking.
A question is asked over and over again.
Should writers participate in politics? They have to think about this.
Politicians don't have to give any orders.
Whether a writer enters politics or not,
he cannot ignore the challenges and risks of life.
They cannot ignore the well-being of the public.
Otherwise what
kind of literature will they create? Should
they not enrich life with their poetry and essays, their
plays and novels.
Printmaking and broadcasting have not always been used for human
welfare and the well-being of people. There are
countless books and
magazines that propagate prejudice, hatred and violence.
violence.
In nations where not everyone is literate yet, the printed
printed
word has more value than in advanced societies. So what might be
dismissed as a fad elsewhere
might create misunderstanding and tension here. Although
all the nations have become politically independent.
But to some extent we look at the rest of the
world through the same eyes of our old rulers.
In some African Asian countries, books, especially higher education
books, are mostly English or
American books. In some other
countries most of the books may be by French authors.
Certainly there are
open-minded scholars in both English and French.
But can
anyone escape inclination towards one's nation? There is a
need that we should
establish direct relations with each other nations soon
and move towards progress. Stop. If you
