0:02 Most people try to manifest from the
0:04 mind, but your mind isn't creating your
0:07 reality. Your nervous system is. If
0:09 you've ever felt like you're doing all
0:11 the high vibe things, the visualizing,
0:13 the affirming, the meditating, but still
0:16 not seeing the results you want, this is
0:18 why you don't manifest through effort.
0:21 You manifest through frequency. And your
0:23 frequency is held in the energetic
0:25 position of your nervous system. So when
0:28 your body feels unsafe, your field
0:30 contracts. you start creating from
0:32 survival. But when you feel safe, when
0:34 your nervous system is coherent, you
0:37 become a magnet for the miraculous. And
0:38 in this episode, I'm not just going to
0:40 show you how your nervous system is the
0:42 portal to miracles. I'm going to teach
0:44 you one of the most powerful nervous
0:46 system reset practices that I know. A
0:48 three-part breath and meditation
0:50 sequence designed to downregulate fear,
0:52 restore your sense of safety, and put
0:54 you back in the frequency of quantum
0:56 creation. So, let's get into it. Hey,
0:58 it's David. Welcome to a changed mind, a
1:00 sanctuary for your spirit. A place where
1:01 each and every episode I remind you of
1:03 the certainty of the goodness of the
1:04 future. I'm your friend, your host, your
1:07 guy, David Bayer. Now, most people live
1:11 in an overmentalized experience of life.
1:13 And I want you to just stop and check in
1:15 with yourself for a moment. How often
1:16 have you noticed that you're driving
1:19 from point A to point B in your car and
1:21 you have not noticed anything on the
1:24 road, anything to your periphery? You've
1:26 been in your head having a conversation,
1:28 worrying about something, thinking about
1:30 an argument that you had and trying to
1:31 win the argument in your head even
1:34 though the person is no longer there. Or
1:36 walking through the mall or through your
1:39 own home, not actually noticing the
1:41 material surroundings, but living in
1:43 this mentalized space, right, that lives
1:46 somewhere up above your head, having a
1:48 conversation about the past, having a
1:50 conversation about the future, thinking
1:51 about what should have happened or
1:53 shouldn't have happened. all the
1:54 different ways that we become entangled
1:57 with that inner dialogue. Most of us
1:59 have developed an extraordinary capacity
2:02 to live in the mind. And what we've seen
2:04 now having had over 10,000 coaching
2:06 conversations with high performers,
2:08 entrepreneurs, people just like you, is
2:12 that by the age of 40, our mentalbased
2:15 neurology has built up such a momentum
2:18 that it is overexpressing itself. And
2:19 the things that got you to where you
2:22 are, your natural gifts and talents,
2:24 your ability to thrive through
2:26 challenges, your ability to influence
2:28 your external circumstances, your
2:29 ability to handle anything that shows
2:32 up. Well, more is showing up than you
2:34 can handle. Your external circumstances
2:36 are out of control. And really
2:38 everything that you thought you could
2:41 handle is overburdened because you're
2:43 calling forth into your reality more and
2:45 more and more of what your initial
2:47 nervous system had been developed to
2:49 handle. But now your neur neurology has
2:52 overdeveloped itself. And we see this,
2:54 we call it the core program. We've
2:57 actually identified that within this
3:00 mental dynamic, this living in the head
3:01 space is a lot of fear, a lot of
3:04 unprocessed trauma, a lot of limiting
3:06 beliefs. It's and it's an overeolution
3:09 of your identity or your personality.
3:12 Now let me ident define identity for
3:14 you. An identity is the energetic
3:17 position from which you experience
3:20 reality. So it is the perception with
3:22 which you experience your external
3:24 circumstances. And it is an energetic
3:25 position. What does that mean? It is an
3:27 emotional position. So you're
3:30 experiencing reality which is and and
3:32 what is core to your personality are
3:36 concepts like I don't matter or if I
3:38 want to approve of myself and be worthy
3:41 I have to work hard or money is scarce
3:43 or it comes but it doesn't stay very
3:45 long. These are all concepts. These are
3:48 all energetic positions that develop as
3:51 a conglomeration into your identity or
3:54 your personality and reality begins to
3:56 reflect itself back to you in the form
3:59 of what you believe. This position is
4:01 vibrational. It is a frequency and it's
4:04 held in your nervous system. So as you
4:07 are thinking limited thoughts around
4:09 time, around money, around yourself,
4:11 around what's possible, as you
4:14 experience frustration or overwhelm or
4:16 stress, that's a vibration in your
4:20 nervous system. So too are emotions like
4:23 joy and curiosity and excitement. You're
4:25 resonating at a higher vibrational
4:27 frequency. But if you're not creating
4:28 what you want to be creating in your
4:30 life, the only reason for that is you
4:33 have not developed the practice of a
4:35 vibrational position or an identity that
4:37 feels good and is in alignment with what
4:39 you want to create. Because your nervous
4:42 system is creating your reality. Really,
4:45 you are impressing your consistent habit
4:47 of vibration, which are your thoughts
4:49 and your emotions against the quantum
4:52 field. And reality is forming based on
4:54 that consistent vibration. It's a
4:56 communication that you have with a
4:58 greater intelligence, the unified field,
5:01 God, Jesus, Allah, however you refer to
5:04 a higher intelligence or a higher power.
5:05 It is responding according to your habit
5:08 of vibration or your habit of identity.
5:11 And stress, when you're experiencing it,
5:13 is an indication that you're creating
5:17 more of what you don't want. Because as
5:19 you're experiencing stress, that
5:21 frequency is building within your
5:23 nervous system and you are expressing
5:25 that frequency against the field and the
5:28 field has no choice but to respond
5:29 through the formation of circumstances
5:32 and situations that will invoke that
5:34 same emotion from you. This is the idea
5:36 of the law of attraction. So in any
5:39 moment in time, whatever you're feeling is
5:40 is
5:43 predicting an experience in the future
5:46 that will invoke that same feeling from
5:47 you. You are literally creating your
5:50 reality. And so the challenge here is
5:53 for us to begin to disassociate our
5:55 day-to-day experiences because they're
5:57 reflective of a previous habit of
5:59 thought or emotion or our current
6:01 identity and to start to really living
6:03 into the version of our future self. The
6:05 type of reality that we want to create.
6:07 Experiencing gratitude when you feel
6:08 like there's nothing to be grateful for.
6:10 Experiencing prosperity when there's not
6:12 that much in your bank account.
6:13 Experience the feeling of safety when
6:15 actually your external environment feels
6:17 very threatening. This is the work to do.
6:18 do.
6:20 So stress is an indicator of creating
6:22 more of what you don't want. Joy or calm
6:24 or peace or what we would call powerful
6:26 states of being are indicators that you
6:28 are creating a future that you do want.
6:30 And so one way to look at the game of
6:33 personal growth and the game of creating
6:35 your own reality, the game of achieving
6:39 goals, the game of creating success is
6:41 to look at life through the lens of a
6:43 single practice which is downregulating
6:46 your nervous system.
6:48 So, learning how to train your nervous
6:51 system away from fight or flight or the
6:52 sympathetic expression of the nervous
6:56 system into parasympathetic or rest or
6:57 relaxation. Because in the
6:59 parasympathetic expression of your
7:01 nervous system, that's where you're
7:04 creating a joyful, abundant, prosperous,
7:07 healthy, connected experience of life.
7:09 And in the sympathetic expression of
7:11 your nervous system, the fight orflight
7:12 expression of your nervous system,
7:14 you're creating a future that will
7:16 invoke more fight orflight, stress,
7:18 anxiety, overwhelm, financial
7:21 insecurity, indecision, procrastination, and
7:22 and
7:25 self-sabotage. Now, if we get honest with
7:26 with
7:30 ourselves, most of us, if not all of us,
7:33 at a meaningful level, feel
7:35 unsafe. Just check in with yourself for

7:41 throughout most of my life, I felt
7:44 tremendously unsafe. Even now as an
7:46 adult being in this work and being a
7:47 teacher of this work, there are many
7:49 moments throughout my days, throughout
7:51 my weeks, throughout my months where I
7:53 feel unsafe. I feel unsafe because
7:54 something shows up in my business that I
7:56 didn't expect that isn't in alignment
7:59 with the growth of the business that I
8:01 envision. I feel unsafe because I have
8:03 aches and pains in my body. And my mind
8:05 interprets those aches and pains as what
8:06 if this is serious? What if it never
8:09 goes away? I feel unsafe when my wife
8:11 and I have friction in our relationship.
8:13 She gets upset about something and
8:15 because of old childhood programs, I
8:17 feel like I did something wrong. And in
8:20 response to that, in order to justify my
8:23 worthiness, I need to make her wrong.
8:25 And so we end up off in this stalemate.
8:27 But I could give example after example
8:30 after example of how on a daily basis, I
8:33 move into unsafety. And that unsafety is
8:35 an indication that I'm moving into fight
8:37 or flight, right? I'm moving into the
8:40 upregulation of my nervous system. And
8:42 moving into sympathetic or fight or
8:43 flight is not a bad thing. It's a very
8:46 useful tool for survival, right? It was
8:48 meant to signal to us that we were in
8:49 need of food, in need of shelter, that
8:51 we were under a direct threat, something
8:53 that was threatening our survival. But
8:55 the challenge is that over the last few
8:58 thousand years, it's been left unchecked
9:02 and it has encroached upon the natural
9:04 balance of the nervous system. I've
9:05 shared the story before that when my
9:07 wife and I were first dating, I didn't
9:09 have a lot of money. I had two homes in
9:10 foreclosure. I really wanted to impress
9:13 my wife. We went out to dinner one time
9:15 and I'm looking at the menu, literally
9:16 moving into fight or flight because I'm
9:17 looking at the prices and hoping she's
9:19 not going to order the filet minan or a
9:21 glass of wine because I couldn't afford
9:25 it. Right? Right? So the mind is
9:27 correlated to this habit we've developed
9:29 in our nervous system of fight or
9:31 flight. And so we start to interpret
9:34 life as threatening. Most of us feel
9:36 unsafe most of the time. And we develop
9:38 all these coping mechanisms to feel
9:40 safe, controlling our external
9:42 environment, uh trying to be
9:44 perfectionists, trying to make the right
9:47 decisions, um striving for success
9:49 because we believe sex su success will
9:54 produce safety. Um, and when we feel
9:57 unsafe, we also have other behaviors we
9:59 engage in like depression, anxiety, overwhelm,
10:01 overwhelm,
10:03 hopelessness. So, what I'm wanting to
10:04 communicate in this episode is that a
10:06 very beneficial practice for
10:08 downregulating your nervous system,
10:09 which is the portal for creating
10:11 miracles and what you want in your life,
10:12 is the practice of
10:16 safety. Get into a practice of feeling
10:19 safe. And that's why practices like
10:21 meditation which are very beneficial in
10:23 terms of stilling the mind or
10:25 visualization which are really useful in
10:28 terms of starting to build a memory of
10:30 your future because your brain is a goal
10:31 achieving machine and it can start to
10:34 operate in order to materialize that
10:36 future visualization that you have or
10:38 that vision board. But they're only so
10:40 useful and most high vibrational
10:42 practices fail
10:45 without tethering them or connecting
10:47 them to nervous system
10:49 regulation. So this is very very
10:51 important. In fact, right now in my own
10:53 personal practice, this is the most
10:54 important practice and I'm going to be
10:56 sharing with you what one of my core
10:59 practices is. But feeling
11:02 safe allows you to allow. Right? When
11:04 you feel safe, you are open. Your
11:06 nervous system is open. it's available.
11:08 You're able to receive from life rather
11:12 than defend against it. And in that you
11:14 become more connected and one with the
11:15 field of intelligence and the flow of
11:18 life itself. So I want you to think
11:20 about it. When you feel unsafe, you're
11:23 in a contracted energy, you experience
11:24 emotions like stress, anxiety, and
11:26 overwhelm, and you're cutting yourself
11:29 off from the field. And because you're
11:30 cutting yourself off from the field or
11:33 from God or from life itself, that's why
11:35 disease starts to set in. That's why
11:38 financial insecurity and lack of
11:41 prosperity exist, isolation, challenges
11:43 in work or career, challenges in
11:46 relationship, not having a relationship
11:48 because you're cutting yourself off from
11:51 life itself as you move into this
11:53 feeling of unsafety. As you move into
11:55 safety, you start to allow, you open up,
11:58 and you literally plug back in to the
12:01 matrix of life. So you allow yourself
12:04 now an inflow of information, thoughts,
12:06 ideas, inspiration, health, vitality,
12:08 vibrancy, abundance, and an outflow of
12:11 desire. So you're you're a better
12:13 receiver transmitter mechanism plugged
12:15 into the field itself. You're able to
12:17 receive from the field and transmit out
12:20 to the field in a mo coherent,
12:22 productive, and aligned way. Hey, it's

13:41 things are all aligned when you're
13:43 living in your joy, which you really can
13:46 only do when you feel safe. And when you
13:49 feel safe, you're able to live in your
13:51 joy. And when you're living in your joy
13:54 and experiencing safety, you're actually
13:56 without much effort drawing forth all of
13:58 the components necessary to materialize
14:00 whatever desires that you've accumulated
14:02 over time because you have a whole
14:04 portfolio of desires that you've
14:05 accumulated over time, right? Like there
14:07 are lots of things that you want. You
14:09 want more money, maybe you want more
14:11 fame, maybe you want better
14:12 relationships, maybe you want more
14:14 clarity on your purpose. You have all
14:16 these desires and the field already
14:17 knows what you want. You've placed your
14:20 order. The question is whether or not
14:22 you can align with the field. And you do
14:24 that through a safety practice and the
14:26 downregulation of your nervous system.
14:27 So what I want to do is I want to share
14:29 with you a three-part meditation and
14:31 breathing practice to down regulate your
14:34 nervous system and to also install
14:36 feelings of openness meaning
14:38 availability to the field and openness
14:40 to life rather than feeling defensive
14:43 against it and unsafe and safety. Right?
14:46 openness, safety, uh, and connection
14:50 with the field. Um, and so this practice
14:52 is something that I got from HeartMath.
14:55 Uh, I saw some YouTube video a long time
14:56 ago, and there was a facilitator moving
14:58 people through this practice. You could
15:00 do this for 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15
15:01 minutes. It doesn't really matter. In
15:03 fact, I think it's even better if you
15:05 break it up into like five minutes a day
15:06 to reset your nervous system and
15:10 reconnect it to safety and joy and the
15:13 ability to receive and the field.
15:14 And all you need to do is get into a
15:16 quiet place and you close your eyes. And
15:18 there's two parts of this practice. The
15:21 first part is um is heart coherent
15:23 breathing. And so what that looks like
15:27 is you breathe in and you breathe out.
15:28 But you focus your energy on and
15:30 attention as if you were breathing in
15:32 through your heart and out through your
15:34 heart. Well, why is that important?
15:35 Well, because there are energetic
15:37 centers around the heart where it's at
15:39 the core of who you are. Like really,
15:42 you are materialized energy. And so we
15:45 you see yourself as a physical body. But
15:48 if we go into more ancient teachings,
15:49 right, there are seven chakras that
15:52 represent the energy centers all the way
15:54 from your root chakra, which is near
15:57 your tailbone, up through your third eye
15:59 chakra in your forehead and your crown
16:02 chakra. And according to Eastern
16:05 tradition, these are energy centers that
16:07 materialize your physical body. So
16:09 behind your physical body are these
16:11 energy centers. And it's even further
16:14 broken down into the meridian system
16:16 that's used in acupuncture. These
16:17 energetic centers throughout your body.
16:20 And what we're wanting to do is move
16:23 behind the body. Like let's get to an
16:26 earlier root cause. Let's go towards the
16:28 real cause of the experience of your
16:30 life and the experience or
16:31 materialization of your physical body.
16:33 And let's work with the energetic
16:35 centers. And we want to bring our
16:37 awareness or attention to that heart
16:39 center because your your awareness is
16:41 energy. And when you bring your your
16:43 awareness or your energy to certain
16:45 parts of your body, it activates and
16:48 stimulates those parts of your body. And
16:50 so we're going to breathe in through the
16:51 heart and we're going to breathe out
16:54 through the heart. That's the consistent
16:56 part of the practice. And then what
16:56 you're going to do is you're going to
16:59 have three types of breaths that you do.
17:01 The first breath is
17:03 you breathe in through your heart.
17:05 You're going to exhale through your
17:08 heart. And as you exhale, you're going
17:12 to imagine feeling the expansion of your
17:14 arms, opening yourself up to life,
17:17 opening yourself up to everything that
17:21 life has been trying to send to you so
17:24 that you can receive it. Right? Imagine
17:27 being out in a beautiful hillside,
17:29 staring up at the sun, opening up your
17:31 arms, and just receiving those beautiful
17:34 rays of light or receiving a beautiful
17:36 hug from someone you love. That's a very
17:39 specific emotional frequency. So, as you
17:40 do the first breath, you're going to
17:42 inhale. All the inhales are just focused
17:44 on the heart. And as you exhale through
17:46 the heart, you're going to allow
17:49 yourself to feel this feeling of
17:52 receiving, being safe and receiving and
17:54 being open. And you can try it now or
17:56 you can try it after this episode. But
17:58 you'll notice that's a very specific
17:59 feeling. There are times in your life,
18:01 memories that you've had where you've
18:04 been open and available and received and
18:06 life has just poured love into you.
18:08 That's a specific frequency that we want
18:10 to start building and reinforcing in
18:13 your nervous system to counter the habit
18:17 of unsafety and blocking ourselves off.
18:19 So the first exhale is the feeling of
18:21 opening yourself up and
18:23 receiving. Then you inhale again through
18:26 the heart. This is the second breath.
18:28 And you exhale again. And this time I
18:30 want you to imagine letting it all fall
18:32 off of you. Letting everything on your
18:35 shoulders fall off. Letting any stories
18:38 or trauma or tension in your body just
18:40 literally go slip right off your body
18:42 all the way down through your feet,
18:45 grounding it back into the earth. That's
18:46 a specific emotion. We normally don't
18:48 describe that as an emotion. We describe
18:52 emotions as happy or sad or overwhelmed.
18:54 But this opening up to receive is an
18:57 emotional experience. This exhaling and
18:58 letting everything go is an emotional
19:00 experience. And these are very powerful
19:01 frequencies and habits to build in your
19:04 nervous system that are conducive to
19:05 allowing your nervous system to be the
19:06 portal for creating miracles and what
19:10 you want. So the second exhale is
19:12 letting it all go. It's sort of the same
19:13 feeling you would have if I had you take
19:16 a deep inhale like and then you did an
19:18 audible exhale
19:20 like like that feeling of letting it all
19:23 go. It's like that feeling of just
19:25 finishing a really difficult workout or
19:27 just completing a really difficult task.
19:30 Like h it's behind me. I'm letting it
19:32 go. I'm letting it slip off my nervous
19:34 system. I no longer need to hold on to
19:38 it. So breath number one, inhale. Exhale
19:41 while opening yourself up to receive.
19:43 Second breath, inhale through the heart.
19:46 Exhale and letting it all go. The third
19:51 breath in this three breath sequence is
19:53 an inhale through the heart again. Why?
19:54 Because we're activating the heart-c
19:56 centered energy. This is at the core of
19:59 who you are. And we're exhaling through
20:03 the heart. Feeling safe and present
20:06 right here, right now. Feeling in your
20:10 body right here, right now. And safe.
20:12 It's almost like saying to yourself,
20:16 "Right now, right here, I am okay. I am
20:18 safe." It doesn't matter if you don't
20:19 have as much money in your bank account.
20:20 You've got a ton of credit card debt.
20:23 It's not here. Right here, right now. It
20:24 doesn't matter if you're in physical
20:26 pain because what's right here, right
20:29 now is you dying or never being able to
20:31 solve your physical pain. Let's just
20:33 acknowledge that right here, right now,
20:36 we're okay. I am okay right here, right
20:39 now in my physical body. That's the exhale.
20:41 exhale.
20:43 Why is this important? Well, it's
20:45 important because what we're trying to
20:46 do is redevelop the habit of being
20:49 inside of our bodies. Because as we
20:50 talked about in the earlier part of this
20:52 episode, we've been living in this
20:53 mental space, disconnected from
20:56 ourselves, up in the egoic mental
20:59 turbulence of our minds. And that has a
21:01 toil on our body because our life force
21:03 is not in our body. It's outside of our
21:04 body up in the space trying to figure
21:06 things out, judging ourselves for what
21:08 we did in the past, worrying about
21:10 things in the future. And so that's part
21:12 of the disconnection from the field
21:14 which as a byproduct creates financial
21:16 insecurity, breakdown in health,
21:18 breakdown in relationships, lack of
21:20 clarity, lack of guidance, lack of
21:22 spiritual connection. So this is exactly
21:24 the opposite. The third breath is inhale
21:27 through the heart center and exhale with
21:30 a feeling of I'm in my body right here,
21:33 right now. I am guided. I am protected.
21:35 Whatever else you can add in that might
21:37 be uh resonant for you. I'm a child of
21:40 God, right? I am okay right here, right
21:43 now. That's that third emotional exhale.
21:46 So, you've got three. The first one is
21:48 opening myself and being available and
21:49 receiving the abundance and all of the
21:51 goodness of life. The second one is
21:53 letting go of all of the tension that
21:54 might be accumulating on me and the
21:56 things that I've accumulated throughout
21:57 the day and grounding it back into the
21:59 earth. Just letting it literally slip
22:01 off and slide off down your body through
22:03 your feet into the ground. And the third
22:05 one is being right here in my body safe
22:07 right here, right now. And what you do
22:09 is you simply repeat those three breaths
22:10 for as long as you want to do the
22:12 meditation practice. Inhale through the
22:14 heart center just
22:18 feeling your heart and exhaling while
22:20 practicing these three specific
22:22 vibrations that are all correlated to
22:25 safety. Right? Safety to receive, safety
22:28 to let go, safety to be. And this is a
22:31 beautiful coherence practice. This is
22:33 the way that you can start retaking
22:35 control over how your nervous system is
22:38 programmed. Because the truth is is
22:40 early on we had no control over how our
22:42 nervous system was programmed, right? It
22:43 was programmed by other people, by what
22:45 they believed, by what they told us. And
22:47 it built up a psychological and
22:49 emotional habit. And since your nervous
22:52 system is literally what's vibrating a
22:53 frequency out to the field and creating
22:55 your reality, there's some things that
22:56 you're creating in your life right now
22:57 that you love and some things that you
22:59 don't love. And the way that you're
23:00 going to change it is not by trying to
23:02 control your external reality, but by
23:04 controlling your vibration, by
23:06 controlling your frequency, and by
23:07 expanding your field rather than
23:10 contracting your field. And so I highly
23:11 recommend you make this the most
23:13 important practice in your life. I
23:14 believe this is better than any
23:16 nutritional practice, supplemental
23:18 practice, workout practice, or physical
23:20 training. Even though I believe in all
23:22 those things, um, any other form of
23:25 meditation, this is an active meditation
23:26 process that is
23:28 neuroscience-based that will program
23:30 your nervous system for down
23:32 regggulation and for you more naturally
23:35 beginning to feel these feelings of
23:38 safety, of availability, of openness, of
23:42 receiving, of surrender and letting go
23:44 as opposed to the habits that you've
23:46 developed of stress, anxiety, overwhelm,
23:48 worry, self-judgment. And so this is a
23:50 very very powerful practice. And again
23:53 as I mentioned uh I think it's even more
23:55 effective to do for five minutes a day,
23:58 three times a day because that way
23:59 throughout the day you're bringing your
24:01 nervous system back to remembering
24:04 what's actually true because throughout
24:06 the day your current reality is likely
24:08 to influence you to move back into those
24:10 old habits of thoughts, old habits of
24:13 emotion and old beliefs and actions. So
24:15 I hope you love this video as much as I
