What happens when a naughty lion bullies
the jungle?
Let's see how a clever fox teaches him a
big lesson.
The morning sun rose slowly over the
jungle, but the forest wasn't singing
today. By the sparkling lake, a gentle
deer sat alone, her eyes full of tears.
Why? Why did this happen to us? What did
we do wrong? [Music]
[Music]
Luma, what's wrong, little one? Why are
you crying all alone here?
>> Bonto, he he killed my husband, Zaru,
the lion. He didn't even eat him. He
just laughed after hurting him. It was
all for fun. My cousin was up in a tree
when Zaru roared so loudly he lost his
grip in fear. He fell. He broke his leg.
He just laughed.
>> Why is he doing this to us? Why does he
hurt for fun?
>> We can't keep hiding every time. But
what can we do? He's too strong.
>> There's one who might help. Monkey Kiki.
Let's go and meet him.
And so the deer, elephant, and squirrel
climbed the hills to find monkey Kiki.
Well, well, what brings this group of
forest warriors to my tree today?
>> Kiki, it's Zaru. He's hurting animals,
not for hunger, but for sport. My
I know someone who can outsmart that
bully, the wisest creature, Viko the red fox.
fox.
And off they went deeper into the jungle
where Viko the fox sat by a calm pond,
Well, the jungle's voice finally calls
to me. The animals shared their fear and
worries to Viko.
>> Viko, we need your help. Please
>> leave this to me. Tomorrow I will go to
him myself.
>> Please be very careful, dear Viko.
>> Next day, Viko the fox, bold, clever,
yet with a racing heart, approached Zaru.
Oh mighty Zaru, I come here to serve
you. Your power is unmatched. But even a
king deserves to rest. Who dares?
Speak quickly.
Why waste your strength chasing rabbits
and goats? Let someone else bring the
meals to your den every day.
And why would you do that?
Because I admire you. The jungle should
see a lion on a throne, not crawling
through bushes. Oh, King Zaru, let me
bring you prey. Fresh daily, no more
effort. Serve me well and you'll live.
Trick me once and your tail will be my toothpick.

On the next day, Viko appeared, pulling
something heavy behind him, dragging the
lifeless body of a donkey.
Oh, mighty Zaru, forgive my delay. This
This beast resisted me, but I bring you
your meal.
>> What is this? A donkey? You bring me
grass chewers? This is not just any
donkey, my lord. He mocked you. He said
Zaru only roars and hides in caves. He
doesn't hunt anymore. He said that that
I can't hunt. That I'm only a roar.
>> Your highness, I fought with him. Killed
him for you, for your honor. Oh, Viku,
you're not just clever, Fox. You're
loyal. I like that.
>> The next morning, Viko rolled in a patch
of redberries, staining his fur with
streaks of bright red.
He sprinted through the jungle, panting
and shouting loud,
"My lord, Lion Zaru, I have been
insulted." struck and shamed by a royal
horse grazing by the fence.
Who dared touch what is mine? Speak.
>> I humbly told the royal horse to come
meet the great lion Zaru. But he said,
"I am the king's horse. Tell that
foolish lion to come and fetch me
himself if he dares."
>> Foolish lion. He called me foolish. A

>> And not just that, sire. When I tried to
reason with him, he kicked me right here.

>> This is an insult to my name.
I will rip his royal mane from his royal neck.

>> Shall I take you to him, my king? He
grazes boldly inside the palace horseyard.
horseyard.
Lead the way, fox. Today I will show him
who truly rules me, King Zaru.
With fire in his eyes and fury in his
heart, Zaru thundered through the jungle
and with one great roar launched himself
over the tall stone wall of the palace yard.
yard.
Where is that stupid horse? Come out and
face your king.
Wh what on earth? [Music]

A lion in the palace. Sound the alarm.
No one panics. Surround him. Don't let
him near the stables.
Suddenly, whoosh. A net dropped from
above, tangling Zaru's legs. Another
followed. Then ropes. Arrows flew,
surrounding him from all sides. >> No,
>> No,
I am Zaru. I am the king of the jungle. [Music]

You cannot trap me like a
>> You're no king here. You're a threat to
the kingdom. Cage him now.
>> Wait. This is a mistake. I I came for
the horse. He insulted me. He He The
heavy iron cage door slammed shut behind
him. He let out one final roar, not of
power, but of defeat.
That night, a calm silence covered the jungle.

>> This is where my husband was taken from
me. But tonight I feel he is finally at peace.
peace.
>> Yes, the revenge was fulfilled with
cleverness. I didn't want blood. I only
wanted justice and for the jungle to
smile again. The animals hugged Viko.
And so the revenge was fulfilled,
not out of hate, but out of love for
each other. Moral of the story, true
courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes
it's clever thinking, kindness, and
standing up for others that make the
biggest heroes. If you enjoyed the
