and welcome to Radio Modin. It's been a
long time and unfortunately if I
come back today, it's not to
bring good news but rather
to pay tribute to Charlie Kirk
for being cowardly assassinated in the middle of a
debate in an American university.
So, nothing official yet, but most
certainly by a far-
left activist. We'll see if the investigation proves me
So very quickly for the few
people who do not yet know
who Charlie Kirk is, he was an
American conservative who quickly
made an observation, namely that
American universities, just like
universities in Europe, are
riddled with leftism. In these
universities, almost only the
left and the far
left are expressed. And worse,
people who had managed to resist
this brainwashing did not dare to
speak out and avoided
expressing their ideas at all costs. But rather than
moping around and
complaining, Charlie Kirk decided to take action.
And that's how he founded
the Turning Point organization, an
organization with which he
toured American universities to
debate with students. He
therefore came to confront his conservative point of view
with the point of view of the
students, who were overwhelmingly
left-wing. And what was fascinating was
that he actually toured
American campuses for years. And
thanks to this little experiment, we were able to
observe the uniformity of thought of
young American academics who
often do not think but are
content to repeat mantras,
magic formulas, slogans learned
by heart. And what he demonstrated was
how massive the brainwashing imposed
by the left, particularly through
universities, was and how those
who resisted this brainwashing
did not dare to express their ideas. Well,
given what just happened to him, we
can say that these people
perhaps had reasons to be
afraid of expressing their ideas. But
Charlie Kirk chose to
show courage. He was
always aware of the risks. Yet he
always appeared at his debates
with minimal security. There was
also the idea of trusting people
in his approach. So he wasn't going to
show up with security
or heavily armed bodyguards
. His desire was to talk,
to exchange with people with whom he
disagreed. So today,
when we see the reactions in the
United States to the death of
Charlie Kirk, we realize the weight he
had in the public debate. And
by the way, I don't know if you
remember, but our dear French public service
did a damning report
against him a little over
a year ago. He was really someone who
scared the left because he
was extremely effective. The
number of testimonies from people who have
changed their minds, who have had their eyes opened
following Charlie Kirk's interventions,
is simply mind-boggling. And
besides, his adversaries, the
left or even the far left,
often described him as a classic fascist,
while ironically it was precisely
he who asked to debate and his
adversaries who asked to
silence him or ban him. And then we see
how it ended. But very
concretely, throughout his life he fought
for democratic debate. He
literally gave his life to her.
What's the point of this?
Well, I go to universities
to have some
difficult conversations. But why? Because
it is so important for our country to
resolve our disagreements respectfully.
Because it's when people stop
talking that violence begins.
So, I don't know if you saw the
footage of his assassination, but he
really died during one of his
Turning Point debates at a
UTA university. And symbolically, what an
admission of failure on the part of the far
left. In a sense, his assassination
proves how right he was
, how right he was. His
opponents failed to get him
on the ground of ideas, so they had to
kill him. I don't know if we realize
how much this proves
Charlie Kirk right, in a sense he died a
hero. He proved how much
more he was worth than his detractors, his
opponents. Besides, I
also remember that some people called him an incell
under my videos. I don't know why,
actually. So here is the famous Vincel
with his wife and two children. I
remind you that he died at the age of 31 and
that he leaves behind a
3-year-old daughter and a 1-
year-old son. And when you're a parent, that
never leaves you indifferent. I also remember
that when I broadcast translations
of these debates, there was a comment that
came up very often, it was "This kind
of exchange would be impossible in
France. It would end in violence.
The Antifas would come and stir things up.
And in fact, everyone admired the
fact that these debates generally took place
calmly and with
respect, even though it was
radically opposed visions of the world that were
clashing there and besides, he was
strong on that, eh. The threats, the
insults, they really seemed to
slide off his tongue. He managed to remain
calm and respectful at times when the
command of mortals would have lost it
and above all, he remained calm and
respectful in front of people who
sometimes insulted him. But the success of
these debates is still quite
revealing also of the fact that people
wanted it, they
wanted to debate and they needed
to exchange. But the most militant far left
and in particular the antifas
are really in a logic of
censorship and violence. Besides, a
few years ago, Trump had spoken of
classifying the antifas as a
terrorist group. I don't understand why it hasn't
already been done and I hope that
Charlie Kirk's death will at least serve
that purpose. Well, if he was indeed killed by a
far-left activist because for
the moment nothing has been proven yet.
So, something quite mind-blowing
also on the left is that we manage to
justify Kirk's assassination under the
pretext that his words would have been
dangerous for society and that therefore
he deserved what happened to him. I
find it quite mind-blowing to be
able to reverse things to this
extent and not realize that
when you are capable of saying things
like that, it's because you are not on the right
side of morality. In fact, these people
are so matrixed by the idea of the
rise of Nazism or fascism or
whatever they end up
legitimizing the death of a father
whose goal was to come and exchange ideas
democratically. What do you
want to do with these people? Because
at some point, we also have to
put on the table the responsibility
of the media, the stars, the
political figures and so on who constantly repeat
that their adversaries are
fascists, Nazis, monsters,
dangers who come to bring chaos to
earth. In fact, when this kind of
discourse is repeated over and over again, we should
n't be surprised that it results in
acts like this. And at some point, it
would be good if the left were made to
face up to its responsibilities. And when I was
telling you about the abject reactions of
the left, I also came across this
video. When you live by the sword, you die
by the sword. He said that death by
firearm was one of the
acceptable side effects of the right to
bear arms.
Well, it's really particularly
a reflection because once
again, it rather highlights him.
Charlie Kirk, he has always knew he was
taking a risk in doing what he was
doing. And accepting this risk of
possibly being killed by a
firearm was also going all the way
with his convictions. Well, but then yes,
uh Kerk obviously as an
American right-wing man, he was attached to the
carrying of weapons. So obviously many
leftists have been ironic about this,
but the question of the fear of weapons in the
United States is really linked to the
constitution itself. It is really
a fundamental element of
American culture. You really have to understand this
as a fundamental cultural difference
. And the idea behind the
defense of the carrying of weapons is not
just to have fun shooting
things. The deep idea is to give
people the possibility of defending themselves
against a government that would become
too authoritarian or that on the contrary would no
longer do its job. In the minds
of Americans, carrying weapons is the
guarantor of freedom. So, the thing
is that Charlie Kirk, he defends the idea
that it is not It's not the weapons
that kill people, but the people
who kill people. What I'm
showing you on the screen are the portraits
of mass murderers in the United States for
the year 2021. And you can look at
other years, we always have
roughly the same result. And there, there is
still something to note
sociologically because
the real question is not to
know what technical means they
use to kill. The real question
is above all who commits the crimes and
especially in the context here, who
commits the most mass killings?
Yes, because you have to know that in
relation to this question of carrying weapons
and mass killings, well ironically,
he died at the moment when he was asked
this question. Do you know how many
mass shootings have taken place in the
United States over the last 10
years? To which he responded by
counting gang violence or not?
And it was at that moment, precisely at
that moment, that he's dead. And well, if
you've followed Charlie Kirk's debates a bit
, you know roughly where he was
going to go next,
namely this question of who is
committing these killings. And finally, in any
case, this is something very
classic, eh, in the rhetoric of the
American left and not only
of the left in general to attribute the
responsibility for mass killings to the
right which defends the carrying of weapons. And
yet at the heart he did not hesitate to
say that this is not the way to
look for the truth. And the thing
is, he did not hesitate to make the
Black American community face up to its
responsibilities. For him, the big
problem of the
Black American community was not
systemic racism, but indeed
the absence of a father in this community.
An idea dear to Thomas Sowell
by the way. An absence of a father which leads
many young Black Americans to
turn to delinquency and crime.
Young people lost souls who have no role
model, no father figure to
impose limits on them, which
leads a number of them to
adopt violent behavior.
Yet, never at any time did he
disrespect the Black
American community. He was always very
frank, he was never condescending. He
dared to tell them his home truths, and
for some, that would already be
akin to racism. Well, you
know the song, we hear it
almost every day and we've maybe
even heard it a little too much. In any case,
the death of Charlie Kirk is a
political attack, and I hope it
will be recognized as such. And now, for
some time now, a lot of
things have been piling up. The
mass shooting by a trans activist in a
Christian school, the very recent
assassination of Irinazarutska, and many
others. In fact, all of that is starting
to add up. And now, we can
legitimately think that we are
turning a corner. United States. And I
think the situation is very likely
to explode after a while. But if
the situation degenerates, we mustn't
forget that everything has been done to ensure it
degenerates on the part of the far left.
And if that happens, which I don't want,
well, it would indeed be better for
Americans to be among those who
have weapons rather than among those who don't
. So to be continued and
in any case, it would be quite surprising
if there were no consequences to all
this. So to finish,
many of you contacted me, eh, to tell
me the news. I know that there are some
among you who discovered
Charlie Kirk via my translations of these
debates. And besides, that saddens me
even more since this small corpus of
video translations of Charlie Kirk,
but not only that, but also of Matt Walch,
Candes Wens, Ben Chapiro and many
others, well, these videos have disappeared.
And besides, that's why
I was much less present on this
channel in recent months. By the way,
here, I'll explain this to you. In
fact, as you may have
noticed for some time on
YouTube, you have the possibility of
automatically translating videos by
AI. And so, apparently, since this
new function, my translation videos
of Charlie Kirk and others
no longer corresponded to YouTube's rules
. So I was struck but
also completely demonetized and
above all I was forced to remove
these videos. Which is still quite a
shame because a human translation
is still much more
pleasant to listen to than an AI translation.
And above all, well, it bothers me because this
format would have really come at the right time
for people who would have wanted to
discover Charlie Kirk in a way other than
through the voice of our dear
subsidized media. It could have allowed
people who did not know him
to have direct access to
Kerk's words and thoughts. Because in reality,
few people use the
translation function to watch videos in
English. People still prefer
human voices. By the way, my
mental rodeo format too, eh, for those who
remember it, apparently
no longer respected
YouTube's new rules regarding the
reuse of content. So
unfortunately, the same eh, I'm going to
have to put an end to this format,
which is rather a shame because
it's a format that I had
a lot of fun doing. So by the way, I have
n't been inactive, eh, these last few
months, quite the opposite. I finally
finished my archive channel of
disappeared videos, the Modin museum, on which
you can find more than a hundred
videos eh and in particular a lot of
episodes of "G' un livre". I also
released two investigative words on my
main channel, including one that is getting a
lot of attention at
the moment. So, I encourage you to
go see them. I still have one
investigative word to finish and then I'll
come back to Radio Modin where I'll be
much more active. So there you have it, you
know everything. Tribute again Once again to
Charlie Kirk, eh, condolences to his
family, thoughts for his wife and his
two orphans. More than ever, the
fight continues. This kind of event,
it is absolutely not necessary that it frightens,
on the contrary, it is necessary that it galvanizes and
more than ever, it is important to
overcome our small and even our big
differences of opinion within the
right. We must unite to win because
it literally becomes vital. The
left and the far left have proven to us all too well
what they are capable of in
terms of horror and violence. So it
remains to be seen what the
media coverage of this affair will be in Europe and
particularly in France. And I think that we
can also draw a parallel between this event
and the attempted assassination
of Donald Trump, which was treated by the
media as an anecdotal fact. Whereas
obviously if it had happened to Biden
or Obama, the media would still be
talking about it today. In
any case, it will start to become very
difficult for the media and
politicians to keep telling us all
day long that violence is coming of
the extreme right. So, what more can I tell you
perhaps for the most religious
among you? Because you know that
Kerk was very religious. Well, do
n't hesitate to send him a prayer
and don't hesitate to follow his
