If you see these signs, God is preparing
you for a major, and I mean major,
breakthrough. And I'm going to tell you
things I've learned firsthand, things
that I've experienced firsthand, along
with things that are clear in the Bible.
I think there are signs that God gives
us before he's about to level us up and
give us a major breakthrough that are
consistent. They're a pattern that God
has every single time where he's about
to level someone up and give them a
major breakthrough. God will give you
these signs. And so, if you relate to
these signs, just know you got a major
breakthrough on the way. And I'm going
just give you a little spoiler alert
before we get into the signs. It ain't
going to be comfortable. God is going to
make you uncomfortable. The devil is
going to attack you. Okay? So, I'm I'm
not trying to spoil it right now, but
before we get into it, I just want to
make something clear that these signs
are not going to be very comfortable.
But that's okay because God is much more
interested in your character than your
comfort. And so, that's enough yapping
for right now, man. Let's get into the
signs that you are about to get a major
breakthrough. So, sign number one is
that the devil starts attacking you. M
and we see this happen time and time
again in the Bible in the story of
David, in the story of Joseph, in the
story of Jesus. We see time and time
again that the devil attacks you the
most when you're closest to your
breakthrough and that the greatest
battles always happen right before the
greatest blessings. The devil doesn't
attack people who are going in the wrong
direction. He could care less about
those people. The devil attacks people
who are close close to their
breakthrough, close to their miracle,
close to their calling. The devil knows
you're about to be blessed. He knows
you're about to get your breakthrough.
And how does the devil attack you? Well,
he can attack you physically,
spiritually, mentally, emotionally. He
can attack you through fear, temptation,
discouragement, disappointment,
distractions. That's a big one. If the
devil can't destroy you, he'll distract
you. And he'll send everything at you
just to get you off track. He wants to
get your mind off of God. I mean, think
about Peter when he was walking on
water. He was walking on water as long
as he kept his focus on Jesus. But as
soon as he turned away and got
distracted, he started to sink. That's
what the devil wants you to do. So,
he'll send everything your way to get
you distracted. And the devil only
fights what he fears. So if the devil is
attacking you, take it as a compliment
and be like, "Thank you, God, that I'm
worthy of being attacked by the devil,
that you would allow the devil to attack
me." Because God doesn't give his
toughest battles to his weakest
soldiers. And the bigger the battle, the
bigger the blessing, the greater the
conflict, the greater the calling. When
God wanted to make David king, he didn't
give him a crown. He gave him a giant.
If God put a Goliath in front of you,
it's because he knows there's a David
inside of you. Maybe your path is harder
because your calling is higher. And
sometimes the weight is longer, because
the blessing is bigger. But God's not
making you wait to make it difficult.
God's making you wait to make you ready.
Because while you're waiting, God is
working. Not just on your situation, but
on you. Because God already knows the
right time, the right place, the right
person, and the right answers to all of
your prayers. And he already has it
prepared for you. He's just preparing
you for it. Because what good is the
right blessing if it's the wrong version
of you? The right thing at the wrong
time is still the wrong thing. It's like
if I were a parent and I had a
six-year-old son and he was like, "Mike,
give me a car. I want a car." I'd be
like, "Nah, bro. You ain't getting no
car." And he's like, "Mike, come on. I
want to drive. I want to go on the
road." But I'm like, "Nah, bro. You
ain't getting a car. You can't even
reach the pedals. You can't even look
over the steering wheel." And why would
I tell him that? It's not because I
don't love him. It's because I really
love him. I love him too much to give
him something he's not ready for yet.
And the same is true with God. God has
to shape you. and mold you into the
person who can actually carry that
blessing without being crushed by it.
The worst thing God can do is give you
something you want before you're ready
for it. I mean, think about it like
this. If a kid was crossing the road and
there was a whole lot of traffic on the
road and they were about to get hit by a
car, if I'm the parent to that kid, I'm
going to grab the kid and tell him to
wait. You ain't crossing this road yet.
Why? Not because I don't love him, but
because I really love him. I love him
too much to let him get hit by a car. to
let him have something he wants at the
time, but he doesn't realize it's going
to hurt him later on. And that's how a
lot of us need to think about it when it
comes to our breakthrough, when it comes
to that thing we've been praying for for
so long. God doesn't want to give you a
burnt blessing. You guys have heard me
talk about this before, but I love
showing this picture right here of the
two chickens. The chicken on the left
side says it was cooked for 1 hour at
900° F, and that thing came out burnt.
But that chicken on the right says 3
hours at 300° Fahrenheit and it came out
way better. And that's how God operates,
too. God doesn't give out burnt
blessings. He gives out juicy, tasty
blessings. And he's not going to rush
your breakthrough. He's not going to
rush your answered prayers just because
you want it now. No, he's going to take
his time because God's timing is
perfect. The Bible says he makes
everything beautiful in his time, not my
time, not your time, his time. And God
is never late. We're just impatient. I
want to really talk about the stories of
Joseph, David, and Jesus. My three
favorite stories in the Bible. And
notice how all of their stories got
worse before they got better. Let's talk
about Joseph. Joseph literally got a
dream from God about how he was going to
be great one day. Like God showed him
his future. But right after that, his
life did not get easier. It got worse.
His brothers literally hated him. I
mean, they literally hated him so much
that they threw him into a pit and sold
him into slavery. They sold him to
Egypt. And then once he's there, he gets
thrown into prison for something he
didn't even do. Somebody lied about him.
So Joseph gets a dream, then he gets
thrown into a pit. Then he gets sold
into slavery, and then put into prison
for something he didn't even do. If I'm
Joseph, I'm looking up to God like,
"God, why did you give me that dream?
Were you just messing with me?" But God
didn't forget about Joseph. He was
building him the entire time. Because
God didn't want to just give Joseph the
palace. He wanted to turn him into the
person who could actually handle the
palace. And what happened at the right
time, at God's perfect time, he pulled
him out of that prison and he became
second in command over all of Egypt. But
none of that would have happened if he
didn't go through the junk. That's why I
want to show this picture as well. The
top is your plan and the bottom is God's
plan. on the top. It's just point A to
point B. Easy peasy. No trials or
tribulations. No hills or valleys. Just
easy, smooth, comfortable. But that's
not God's plan for your life. Because
God's plan has hills. It has valleys. It
has trials and tribulations. Why?
Because those things are what shape and
mold you into the person who can
actually carry the blessing without
being crushed by it. Everything you've
been through in your life up until this
point has made you into the person that
you are. If you didn't go through the
junk you had to go through, you would
not have the traits that you have today.
That's why the Bible says that we are
refined when we go through the fire.
Sometimes God has to break you down to
build you up way bigger and better than
you were before. Because God's not
looking for someone to bless. He's
looking for someone to trust. And God
doesn't just trust you with blessings.
He trusts you with breaking. Before
Jesus multiplied the bread, he broke it.
Sometimes God has to break you before he
blesses you. Grapes are crushed to make
wine. Olives are pressed to make oil.
Seeds grow in darkness. Diamonds form
under pressure. If you feel crushed,
pressed in darkness or under pressure,
you better just get ready because God is
about to cook in your life. He's about
to take your set back and use it as a
set up for a comeback. And with God, the
comeback is always greater than the
setback. And I also wanted to show a
video of what it looks like when a seed
is planted and when it grows. So notice
that the seed is put under the soil
right there, right? It looks dark.
Nothing's happening. And that's where a
lot of you guys are right now. You feel
like it's dark. nothing is going on. You
feel like God forgot about you. You feel
like God buried you and he's done with
you. But watch this. Notice how it
breaks open right there. Just like I
talk about, sometimes God has to break
you before he blesses you. But keep on
watching. Notice how it grows down
before it grows up. And that's God's
process with giving us a breakthrough.
Because watch this. Now it breaks
through and it goes through the soil and
it starts growing up up up. And that's
what your guys' breakthrough is going to
look like. Just like Joseph, it looked
like he was being buried, but really he
was being planted. It looked like God
was punishing him, but really God was
positioning him and preparing him. And
at just the right time, just like the
Bible says, at just the right time, we
will reap a harvest of blessing if we do
not give up. Before God takes you
higher, he takes you deeper. You know,
the tallest skyscrapers in the world
have to be built down before they're
ever built up. If I can find a picture
of it, I'll put a picture on the screen
right now of a skyscraper before it's
built up. They got to build down. They
got to build the foundations because the
higher you want to build something, the
deeper you got to go down. And so, thank
God that he's taking his time with you.
If you feel like you're a seed being
planted right now and you feel like
you're just in a dark season where
nothing's happening, praise God that
he's taking his time because that means
the deeper he takes you, the higher he's
going to take you as well. God has a
pattern with everything he does. Like
before he gives somebody a breakthrough,
he allows the devil to attack them. He
allows pain. He allows our life to get
harder. I mean, think about Jesus right
before he started his ministry. What
happened? He was fasting for 40 days and
40 nights and he was being tempted by
the devil because the devil knew who
Jesus was. The devil knew what Jesus was
about to do. So, he attacked him right
at the jump, right at the start. He was
trying to stop Jesus before he could do
what he was about to do. But Jesus
didn't fold. He didn't quit. He didn't
compromise. And neither should you.
Because you will receive your
breakthrough if you just keep going.
That's what the verse said. At just the
right time, we will reap a harvest of
blessing if we do not give up. It didn't
say we might reap a harvest of blessing.
It didn't say maybe. It said we will if
we just don't give up. And I always got
to show this picture whenever I'm
talking about this topic because you
could be this close. The devil wants you
to turn back and quit. He wants you to
give up. That dude on the bottom was one
swing away from reaching the diamonds,
but he turned back. He gave up too soon.
And that's exactly what the devil wants
you to do. Don't let the devil have the
satisfaction of seeing you quit. If
you're relating to anything I'm saying
right now and you just feel tired, you
feel exhausted. You feel like throwing
in the towel, I'm here to tell you,
don't throw in that towel. Use the towel
to wipe off the sweat and keep going.
Because it's not a coincidence your life
has been getting harder. God never
allows pain without a purpose. God will
never let you get comfortable in a place
that you don't belong. Why? Because
growth literally requires you to be
uncomfortable. No resistance means no
growth. When you work out, you don't get
stronger first, you get weaker first.
You don't feel better first, you feel
worse first. Your muscles literally have
to tear before they grow. If you're
comfortable, you don't change. If you're
comfortable, you don't move. And God
didn't create you to just stay stuck.
God didn't create you to live the same
year over and over and over. Sometimes
he's got to make you uncomfortable so
that you can move. You pray for God to
give you strength, and he's going to
give you the weights, not the muscles,
because strength is not built with
comfort. It's built with resistance. And
God is much more interested in your
character than your comfort. You pray
for flowers and God's going to send the
rain. And you got to deal with the mud
when you pray for the rain. I know this
video is relating to somebody. I know
somebody's watching this and is just
saying, "I'm facing all this. I feel all
this going on right now." I'm here to
tell you that's a good thing because God
didn't let Joseph get comfortable in
that pit. God didn't let Jesus get
comfortable in that tomb. I wish I had
some help in here, man. God didn't let
them get comfortable. Why? Because they
weren't meant to stay there. So, if your
life feels uncomfortable right now,
good. It's because you're meant for
more. You're not meant to stay where
you're at. And maybe God is making you
uncomfortable because you're about to
get to the next level. And you've been
praying, "God, change my life." And he's
trying to tell you, "I am." That's why
you're uncomfortable. I'm literally
changing your life right now. Because
you can either have comfort or you can
have a calling. You can't have both. You
can't have purpose without pain. You
can't have a testimony without a test.
You can't have a message without a mess.
The harder the thing is you're going
through right now, the better it's going
to make your story when it's all said
and done. No good story happens from
everything going right. Have you ever
watched a movie and it was just sunshine
and rainbows the entire time? Like there
was no antagonist. There was no
conflict. It was just a perfect peaceful
story with no plot twist, no anything
that would make the audience engaged.
No, they don't make movies like that
because they're not interesting. And the
truth is sometimes you got to go through
something you don't want to go through
so that God can get you to where he
wants you to go to. And this all goes
back to my main point with this video.
before God will bless you and give you a
breakthrough on the outside. He'll shape
you and mold you and change you on the
inside. He'll allow the devil to attack
you. He'll allow your life to get
harder. He'll allow the pain. God will
never allow pain without a purpose.
He'll allow people to leave your life.
It might not make sense, but how many of
you guys know that faith doesn't have to
make sense? Faith makes miracles. Faith
makes a way where there is no way. God
is building your foundations. He's
taking you deeper before he takes you
higher. Because the roots grow before
the fruit shows. And if God is taking
his time with the roots, you already
know he's about to take you higher than
you ever thought you could go. God's
timing is perfect, y'all. And I know
you're waiting for your breakthrough.
You're waiting for that open door. But
before God opens the next door, praise
him in the hallway because he might not
even open the door. He might just remove
the ceiling and you'll go higher than
you ever thought you could go. Can I get
