150-200 mm of rain has been recorded in two hours

select few public representatives are doing the work of informing the administration and sending NDRF teams to the appropriate places. One of them was
Omraje Nimbalkar. Omraje
received a call around noon. Omraj received information that
a grandmother and her two-year-old
grandson were stuck in flood water since 2 am in Vadner village of Paranda taluka.
Another family was also with them and all
four people were
said to be stuck in flood water since night. According to the
calls that were coming in, the
work of sending the system to the right place was going on.
Omraj immediately reached Vadner village after informing the District Collector and the NDRF team. It was
said that it was impossible to rescue at night as it was night.

water comes out of the river or canal,
so the

trapped in the flood waters. A
military helicopter was used to rescue them.
150 civilians were safely
rescued in Paranda with the help of a military helicopter. Along with this, a
rescue operation was also carried out in Bhum taluka. According to
Shahaji Narsale, a resident of Narsale settlement in Parand, the
seepage pond overflowed at around 12:30 am on Sunday night
. Then the water entered the settlement. Due to
this water, 22 people, including 11 members of our family
and 11 others, were trapped in the water
. We had lost contact with others.
Six cattle and 14
goats were swept away before our eyes. I have never
seen so much water in my life. I thought
everyone would die. But on Monday
afternoon, the NDRF team
rescued us by helicopter.
Our lives were saved. Narsal
told the media that this
situation is not only in Dharashiv district. In
Paithan mandal of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district,
200 millimeters of rain fell in just two hours.
Here too, 250 houses were flooded. In Beed
district, 29 mandals received heavy rain in six hours. The
highest rainfall was recorded in Talwada mandal of Gevrai taluka, with 115 millimeters, and in
Limbaganesh mandal of Beed taluka, with 107
millimeters. But the rain
crisis has not averted yet.
According to weather experts, the
heavy rain crisis will continue in Maharashtra,
especially in Marathwada, for another four days. The Meteorological Department has
predicted that there will be rain until September 26th .
