was built off of the success of
immigrants and we are so diverse. I want
to live in a world where the legal
profession actually looks like the
demographics of this country. And that's
why I created Legal Migala Law. My name
is Taylor Teeman. My firm is Legal
Migala Law PC. We're located in Los
Angeles, California. And I became a Cleo
customer in 2020. The current Latino
population in the United States is
around 19% but only 5% of attorneys in
the US are Latino and around 2 to 3% of
us are Latina. That creates a lot of
problems. Clients don't feel like they
can trust attorneys that maybe don't
look like them, don't understand where
they're coming from. Our clients are
firstgen business owners. They are
Latina and Latino business owners,
mostly femaleowned businesses.
traditional law may not see them, may
not be marketing to them. They are
clients that feel comfortable coming to
us because of how we exist. Oftentimes,
the reason a client can't work with us
is just price, which is why I created
the Legal Omega Library. an educational
platform for business owners to find
contract templates, workshops, really
get them access to a more affordable way
to legally protect their businesses as
they're working toward being able to
afford a lawyer. I know we need more
diverse voices in the legal profession
and by both hiring law clerks each cycle
and we also are part of a local
mentorship program where it is a
pipeline for underserved college
students to help them get into law
school. The program serves a community
where they may not have access to elsat
tutors. They may not have anybody in
their family who's gone to law school.
So, they're really getting a full
package. I know that's changing their
lives. Everybody deserves great legal
protection, but when you're a community
that historically has not had access to
