If you take a rest, you'll be late to

limit or is not limited to geographical territory.
It could be professional territory,
or any kind. It's just like when Jesus
said, "Go into all the world." [Music]

It's not just geographical world,
business world,
economy world,
academic world. [Music]

Go ye into all
all the world. There are many walls
within the world
and there are many territories within
the territory [Music]
There is no end point. There are only
[Music]
Proverbs 4:18, the word of the Lord said,
said,
"The path of the just is as a shining light
light
which is expected to shine more and
more." Christianity is a call to a path.
We are following the path and
interestingly there is no end to that path.

There are levels
There are stages but there is no stand still,

So God makes no provision for end but
and the next
is not measured by month
or years but measured moment by moment
every day.
So you are not permitted to be on the
same spot.
Today is not expected to meet you where
yesterday left you. [Music]

I love what our pastor said earlier.
Somebody who departs from the faith has
started departing [Music]

And that's why
you need to re-examine
your points
of appraisal.
Examine yourself. It has to be on the
most regular basis.
You need to develop a template to know
where you are per time. I used to
humorously tell people that if I say to
you you are stupid, you may fight me.
But if you discover yourself that you
are stupid,
then you quickly help yourself. Sir, who
is a wise man? A wise man is one who quickly

observed and realized his error before
somebody will point it to him.

waited for somebody to tell him.
So it's not as if some people don't make
mistake. They make it but they quickly
realized and corrected it. So they are

take territories. I recommend for you
later to read the entire
chapter 11 of Hebrews. You see men of
exploits. They did something. Each of
them did something by faith. This by
faith. Faith is a force which means by force.

And it rounded up in verse 32 to 34 by saying
that the two kingdoms and what shall I
say more? For the time will fail me to
tell of Gideon. Who was Gideon?
A hiding young man afraid of the
strangers and of Barack. Who was Barack?
Barak was a man that a woman had to encourage.

He was so timid a woman had to push him out.
Who was Samson? A child born after the
mother was baring for a long time. They

Moses never even prayed for power. Check
that scriptures. Yet he did not lack
power because he got the source of power.

Knowing God
it took time for you to know your wife.
It took time for your wife to know you.

There is public prayer and there is

Real knowledge
of a spouse
is hardly in the open.
Moses, you want to know me? Meet me on
the mountain. [Music]

And God
was so private with him. He told them
don't let anybody come near.
Only Joshua went close in whom is the
same spirit. [Music]

So you need privacy.
You need privacy
with God. No one matters in the public
who has not first experienced privacy
with God. That's why great men in the
public are made in privacy with God.
He comes to speak in the open. You
didn't know what he encountered in the secret.

Private moments
with God.
He knew God.
How did Daniel know God?
They were confronted with challenge.
They were told they will be killed if
they have no interpretation. In Daniel
chapter 2
16 to 19, they went to pray. Then was
the secret revealed unto Daniel in the
night vision verse 19. They told Daniel,
"Don't pray again." In chapter 6,
in verse 10, he opened his windows.
Oh God of my fathers, hear me now. And
hear me now. [Laughter]

He got to the uh lion's den. They went

pray, a mountain to pray. Well, we don't
have time to explore all of this today,
but you discover that all of those great
people, they have private places where
they pray. It doesn't have to be a mountain.

It could be wilderness. It could be
desert. The bottom line is private time.
verse 29. As he prayed, that tells us
about the process. While he prayed,
while he was in prayer, the fashion
of his countenance gave way [Music]

for God's continents.
And his remnant was as white as to the
person he was talking to. interaction

praying you are exchanging image,
weakness for strength,

is a God? An oracle. Who is an oracle?
We may not have the time to talk about
your pattern of prayer, but the bottom
line is you know God
in prayer while you see him face to face.

You go into prayer as we clean, you come
out strong. The apostles were driven to
prayer in Acts chapter 4 29-33.
They came back strong.
I tell people if you ever fall, fall on
your knees
and you rise to take the lead.
I was looking at scriptures again this
afternoon when it was time for Jesus to
go to the cross. The Bible says, "And he
fell on his face." He fell on his knees
after the prayer. He came out
triumphantly said Peter, James and John,
come let's go.
The people who arrested him didn't meet
him. He went to meet them. When you are
emboldened in prayer, you go to meet challenges
challenges
where others cannot go to. You go to
meet with challenges
where others say we can't go. You take
the lead. Come on, let's go. And that's
what makes you to be a man of exploit.
Say now amen.
>> How could a man with a rod in his hand
go to a whole palace and turn the place
upside down? There are people here who
will turn the world upside down. [Applause]

>> Through that people who don't want to
listen to your gospel will be compelled
to listen to it. Say loud amen.
You can't be a man
of prayer and not be a man of exploit.
You can't be a man of exploits and not
take over. Help me tell your neighbor
you are taking over. Tell somebody else
you are taking over.
That's why Jesus said in his teaching,
men ought always to pray if they don't
If you are fainting, you are not praying.
Luke 18:1, you know what it means to
faint? Losing your breath. Doctor, am I right?
right?

Jesus also tells us
if you don't want to lose your strength,

lose your stability,
Jesus said to Peter again and his other
disciples, pray that he fall not into temptation.

Taking Jesus our example as we begin to
round up. We saw how that Jesus prayed.
Jesus had two core schedule. He will
pray at night
and walk at daytime.
I want to recommend for you to put this
to practice.
And of course, please note when I talk
The word will give you strength. Prayer
will give you breath.
You know there are some people who are
strong doctor who have breathing problem.

for believers and that's why Moses was a
man of the word and of prayer

ourselves continually to prayer and the
ministry of the body.

believer. Just like you have two legs
carrying your body. Can you imagine one leg?
How far can you go?
Can't go far. But two legs. You take
this one. This one is resting. This one
is resting. Take this one. Complimenting.

So that's why I said
every pastor must be a man of prayer and
of the word to keep the church strong. [Music]

There are different kinds of prayer.
There is prayer of intercession and
So Jesus will come to the open and say
to the blind man,
according to your faith, be it unto you.
He will see a woman who was bent
and said to the woman, "Rise."
He will see a woman, a man with a
withered hand and he will say to him,
"Stretch forth your hand."
He will see a man on the stretcher and
say to him, "Arise, take your bed and go home."
But the root of it was in the night.
Those who sleep all night have applied
>> Does that sounds funny? >> Amen.
>> Amen.
Praise God. You know, sleep, sleep is
enjoyable to the body, but it's killing
to the spirit.

So when I say to someone go and return
with your testimony, I got the power in
the night
Sometimes Jesus will pray all night.
Some other time he will pray early in
the morning.
That's why I always tell people wake up
before the devil wakes up. [Laughter]
[Laughter]
I also admonish when you wake up the
first thing is not your telephone.
Be careful with this instrument they
call a device because it can become the
devil's device. [Music]

You can get one message at 5:00 a.m. and
it spo your whole day.
>> So put it on one side for us. gain
strength in prayer to be able to absorb
the shock. [Music]

After prayer, any news has lost his strength.

Finally, you need what we call the
spirit of prayer.
The spirit of prayer and supplication. Zechariah
Zechariah
12:E 10. The spirit of prayer,
it goes beyond wish.
Peter thought, "Why not? We can pray
now." As soon as they finished, they
just started sleeping. Jesus said, "You
guys are sleeping." He was praying
because he had the spirit.
And Romans 8:26 tells us of the spirit
of intercession.
And that spirit [Music]

joining with our pastor here, I release
that spirit upon you.
Rise to your feet. I release that spirit
And that spirit is quickened
particularly when we pray in the
language of the Holy Ghost. Raise your
voice and pray therefore in that language.

Everybody raise your voice. Pray in that language.

Pray that language. Pray in the language.

If your neighbors don't tell you you are
disturbing them, then your prayer is down.
The prayer of the first church was so
disturbing. Now listen to me. I didn't
mean to say you should go and disturb
your neighbor.
There's a way you can pray quietly and
your neighbor is getting the heat.
>> You know sir, why the church is getting
weak? were not doing it the way they did
it in first church. They lifted up their voice.
