The world was astonished when a king,
renowned for his tyranny and cruelty, decided to change his ways. His subjects prayed for his throne to be torn apart
or his death.
One day, the king's astonishing announcement
stunned everyone. The king declared
that he was giving up his old, notorious habits and behavior
and would no longer oppress or inflict
injustice on anyone. He promised that
his rule would be ruled by justice and fairness.
His promise earned him the reputation of a righteous king. For
several months, the king
kept his word, and his subjects bore witness to his justice and
righteousness. People now
praised and blessed him tirelessly.
But the question of what was the reason for this change
lingered among everyone.
Finally, one day, one of his ministers mustered the courage to
ask the king what had compelled
him to make such a drastic change.
After remaining silent for a while, the king took a deep breath and narrated a story. During the
day, I was riding my horse through the forest,
galloping at full speed. Suddenly, I witnessed a scene
that was forever etched in my heart and mind.
A wild dog was chasing a fox. The fox
fox
quickly took cover in its thicket to save its life,
but the dog had already bitten its leg, leaving it
permanently disabled. The king said, "
This scene was terrifying. But the story didn't
end there." A short while later, the same hunting
dog began barking at a man.
In anger, the man picked up a large stone and
threw it at the dog, breaking its leg. The
dog howled in pain, but the
cycle continued. The man had
n't gone far when a horse kicked him,
shattering his knee. He
fell to the ground, disabled for life. The king
continued, "Then the same horse, which had been
running after wounding the man,
fell into a ditch and broke its own leg."
This scene shook me.
I thought, "Evil breeds evil."
The king said, "You should consider whoever you encounter, whether
God will save them." Why is this scene
being depicted? Is it a sign of some crime or
oppression? Hearing this,
an evil thought arose in the minister's heart. He
thought that now is the time to take advantage of the king's noble Delhi
and destroy it.
He was lost in those thoughts when, as
he took a step, he fell down the stairs and
broke his neck. Thus, his own evil
became the cause of his death. This story
teaches us a profound lesson: evil never goes unpunished.
Every crime and oppression is repaid
in this world. But if someone does not
receive it, never think that they have won;
instead, they will be avenged in the afterlife, and every
penny will have to be accounted for.
Therefore, the king abandoned oppression and
chose the path of righteousness, and the result was
respect and love. We too should take
care of the people around us. Oppression and
evil erode a person's dignity. I
hope you have learned a lot from this story
and try not to think of it as a common tale;
rather, it happens to every human being.
You just need to pay attention and concern. If you
