To help them rest after meals, we call them back.
Grandpa’s in the Kanto area for work, so we’re going to see him now!
It’s Kanon’s first time meeting Grandpa.

We moved to a nearby café with a dog run.
At the dog run, the café’s resident dogs come out to greet us.
Kanon can’t play yet, so we take her for a walk in our arms.
We’ll let her get used to new sights and sounds little by little.
Kanon is gaining about 1 kg a week,
so being able to carry her like this won’t last long.
Her first proper walk is planned for early February, after her final vaccines and rabies shot.
We’ll gradually increase how often we do these carry-walks.

Rintaro gets mounted by a 9-month-old Border Collie… lol
When Grandpa picks up Kanon…
Rintaro gets jealous and starts mounting…!
And Grandpa looks pretty happy about being mounted out of jealousy too… lol

Rintaro wants to play with Grandpa more than with the other dogs.

We’ll probably see him next during our year-end and New Year’s visit back home.
She’s already asleep…
Kanon got tired from all the new experiences.
She slept soundly the whole way home and even after we got back.
