hello hey fif did you and Floyd get into
a fight or shev match before yeah yeah
who won that I won every time every time
how many times no no every time no we
had twice we got into it like a real
altercation yeah like one was with the
did he put that shoulder back on you I'm
think n no it was more like out of
reflex though like he punched me
damn Big Boy Neighborhood 50 Cent is in
the neighborhood 50 man uh where do I
begin I'm going to begin at the
beginning all right now this is our
first chance we had a chance to sit down
and I've seen a lot going on with what I
thought was a a situation that you
couldn't break down between 50 Cent and
Mayweather yeah yeah this looked like a
friendship that was going to last a
lifetime to what the hell happened
between 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather
well he he changed his mind now what do
you mean he changed his mind like as he
was actually going in to actual to jail
he uh he asked me to um help him with
Mayweather promotions right then as you
know as he actually got in I took a look
I realized there is no Mayweather
promotions there's no LLC there's no
seal it's not Incorporated no it's just
a just a name that comes out people MS
right see see technically Floyd is a
Golden Boy fighter you see what I'm
saying he fights on every Golden Boy
card they do all the footwork on like
the negotiations and the imprint the
paperwork they build the whole show so
when he says helping with Mayweather
promotions and it's not there I go okay
I know what he means he wants me to get
it together put it together for him so I
do TMT promotions I get it all the way
together sign the actual Fighters we had
acquisition of Gamboa it's like I had NE
a release it was 1.2 million uh Andre
derell um ibf Champion Billy dip uh WBA
Champion celestino calbero you know so
we brought them over I brought them over
while Floyd was you knower he comes home
there's the uh let's get fory back in
Pocket campaign that goes on where you
know it's $300,000 chains being bought
and buying the new Lamborghini and all
these new things and then and I'm
sitting there going yo when you going to
give me the money cuz you had already
invested right like when you going to
give me your half of the money bag but I
ain't trying to press him cuz he just
got out of jail so it's like let him
cool as heels before you was that in the
millions yeah okay so you sitting there
big and I'm like yo so when but see the
fighters are an asset in themselves they
they are that Talent regardlessly you
know so I'm looking at him going so
ain't no pressure there but I'm saying
saying when is he going to say he wants
you know to give me the other half of it
well I got to ask you for it right and
then when he are we talking over 2
million it's about that at that point it
was you know invested in so look he
goes when he finally does bring up the
actual uh the situation he
uh he he he acted like he didn't know
anything like ah I didn't tell y'all to
do that I didn't tell you you to do that
oh man and I'm looking at him and he
look in my face and he tell me to do
that how did the how did the how did it
get to where we started reading just
just the tweets because it seemed like
that like I would think that y'all could
pick up the phone and say hey man you
know what's what's going down here as
opposed to you know I respect the the
shooter and [ __ ] boys and you know what
I'm saying that's not that's not Floyd
Floyd don't
tweet wow that's not him on Instagram
he got somebody next to him see
everybody around him is codependent so
they're going to roll with what he says
regardlessly but do he tell them type
this they got he got to tell them to
type this though or or they can't you
can't put me in the beef that you know
what I'm saying like he like or or like
they'll tell him what to say like the
part as soon as you get confused he
gonna go okay okay okay f um just call
call out right it gets confusing and
then he just goes just call out you feel
what I'm saying like because if if any any
anytime let's say this if if you have a
person that uh is advising you it's a Harvard
Harvard
graduate they advise you to have an
accountant with the kind of money if
Floyd actually has you see what I'm
saying and it's not that's not in
place if you had a person that's a
Harvard graduate you'd have maybe
business managers at maril Lynch
right or Gman the saxs you know however you
you
feel that's not in
place does Floyd Mayweather is he as
rich as we think he is
no so when we see the million dollars in
the bag that money light money like he
can get his hands on that right you know
what I'm saying like if if you can't I
need some of that light
money you know what I'm saying anytime
like that look he is who he is you can't
discredit who he is like and again I'll
tell you like I I don't mind you know
telling the truth in situations like
this because I mean it's my brother I
love him only reason my big beef with
him right now is Karan broke his arm and
he ain't call me you see what I'm saying
I don't care now his son Karan okay he
he broke his arm he hurt himself and and
he didn't call or say or or text me or
say nothing about that because I don't
care what that this will pass like I
didn't come to you saying I'm I'm going
be a boxing promoter I want to be in the
boxing I want to do this and do that
like I'm I'm around it and I do enjoy it
I love it from before I even met Floyd
you see what I'm saying so it's
entertaining exciting for me and I know
I can do things that's Innovative with
the actual sport because
music has shifted into an area where you
have to be conscious of brand extension
right when you watch you know Fighters
like uh forming for example make more
money selling the CRI than he did boxing
it would tell you that you should be
interested in it and they're looking and
the fighters are going
well you doing exactly what we supposed
to be doing so how you do it m you know
and the the part where I stay closer to
health than the actual music lifestyle
meaning right right Street King energy
instead of uh Sarat right that choice or
or Vitamin Water instead of that
you know it's just staying more on the
health side
because and my concept I thought the
things I was doing as an artist my my
creative choices my writing choices were
going to be more aggressive 50 you came
back out on Twitter and said that you
guys were just playing it was to were
you guys just playing all those days and
wasting my time
or no right but I know how to stop the
energy when I don't like the way it
feels right so can can y'all sit down
can you Floyd Mayweather sit down after
everything that's been said me Floyd
senior his father's at my gym yeah I was
going to ask you about that too yeah
good Lord and I'm I'm signing his his uh
cousin that's crazy yeah but that that
doesn't create more so-called beef
that's that's not beef like Floyd he
ain't that man I'm telling you man like
if if
me if they push me to a certain point I
I'll mess up in front of
everybody the capability to just go cuz
it's just the way I'm brought up like I
never ever I never ran from anything cuz
I had nobody to go to I've always had
that where I'm going home to get
me ain't nobody there right right you
know what I'm saying like so it's I've
always been in a situation where I'm
forced to deal with it myself so hey F
did you and Floyd get into a fight or a
shev match before yeah yeah who won that
I won every time every how many
every time now we had twice we got into
it like a real
altercation yeah like one was with the
did he put that shoulder back on you cuz
I'm think n no it was more like out of
reflex though like he punched me now now
50 in my life um you address kind of it
sounds like well hell not sounds like
you address the game yeah um when why
did this come back up in 50 cuz you know
you know what it is is it's things that
are notable Within
big again that record was recorded two
years ago right right right and the the
actual these things are a Monumental
moments within the culture and and my
experience in music culture and just
success period like without of course it
was Game first to decide to go left and
he had help you know me and Jimmy never got
got
along Jimmy henchman oh okay I got you
you see what I'm saying he was managing
them at the time so it helped
him go left you see what I'm saying if
the the person that the people
surrounding you big if they if they
uh are encouraging you to stay in Pocket
it's easier for you to be in place
longer than if you know I think with
when you're dealing with systems when
the communications break it's it's
pretty difficult for you to feel like
there's work being done you know because
it's so much the artist has to rely so
much on the material itself that
it's it's really interesting to me like
because when with in game's case there's
absolutely no malice on my heart towards
him I'd like to see him do whatever he
can do at this point you know and
but I think that's over I think that's
done but what do you mean I think his
career is finished oh Sho you see what
I'm saying and it's because like his
temperament he won't actually get
himself like right now he's in jail ja
but knowing who he is from the entire
time that he's been around I don't think
he has what it takes to recover
from you know like it it it takes
discipline at that point because it's
not it's when people begin to want to
give you resistance hip-hop coach is out
with the old and with the new there
definitely significance in artists to
stick around long time periods you know
and they they have to learn how to
maneuver to be here because
um man give Rich D trying old school at
no say it again get rich of Die Trying
is old school at noon old school at noon
mm something that should be played
during old school oh really though it's
10 years ago like it it like just
listening to what's happening in music
culture like you got to make something
new and the culture is like yeah we know
what you've done but what have you done
for me later right right are you in game
you think your relationship is
repairable I don't know what really
caused it B so like I'm not I don't
really I
don't try to patch relationships
friendship you know what I'm saying like
cuz when they fall apart and you have no
idea like what was the
motivation it says that you don't have
to be involved for it to fall apart
again cuz you wasn't involved with what
made it fall apart in the beginning so
you should
assume that you're going to experience
the same thing instead of you know going
through a process of of a whole new
burst of energy because you actually Co
begin does exactly what he did last time
you gave him that
energy you see what I'm saying the last
time you gave him the records and first
week sales came in the right way it was
on that week the day of you see what I'm
saying so
to consider uh
no be cool you can play it out you know
what I'm saying let him let him do what
he can do like you I don't listen to his
music or or see him and go
yo you know I hate ill will it's not
like that's he's a rapper man this is
hip-hop you know what I'm saying if you
when I look back at a lot of situations
I go well what exactly was that about
because In the Heat of it you actually
got beef with the person like you like
what like I can't wait to run into them
let's see how they move when we run into
them MH you know what I'm saying and
then as time passes you look at it you
say you know what that was this
verse cuz sometimes people like like
even within sbri 30 days would be a
threshold that they say was something to
celebrate right you've been clean 30
days and they tell you in diting after 30
days it becomes easy you start coasting
you're in
regimen so if you've been saying a song
you've been saying lyrics to yourself
where you're a
ganger for Lord knows how long this
points that these fools start to believe
themselves and they start doing
things and moving around out of
character they doing things that they
wouldn't have done before they wrote
that song before they they started doing
these things and you know a lot of times
uh they make mistakes you
can't go back to you know like like
people just in general in life that's
what it is you know I have to people in
pen attenti that with those thoughts
they made those mistakes that you can't
just take back now French Montana
recently had an interview and in with DJ
Drama and in it he said that he is the
most important person in the inner scope
in in the inner scope building that's
how everybody has to look at it
referring to you as a donkey saying that
you're not too good now I know this beef
has come from interviews and Twitter
talk and everything yeah how do you feel
about French Montana coming at you
that's not beef that's you know you got
a new artist attempting to generate some
interest M you know and he's I don't
even know if you could really call him a
new artist because you haven't heard a
song with him by himself that's
relevant you see what I'm saying he's a
guy that they put on a record with two
or three other guys that already
established themselves in order to sell
you something you only got to get away
with listening to him for a whole 30
seconds 40 seconds and his verse is off
and it goes to somebody that you that is
really work to get there you know like
if there's
a you get them
if what is the state of oscope if he's
the biggest artist
there you see what I'm saying you got an
artist that doesn't even have an
established sales
history you got you got an artist
that you can't make the general public
like pretend or faked them into liking
them they they didn't decide they like
him yet you know so if to say that is to
insult in
scope you know now as far as French
Montana did y'all have a a history
together did y'all know each other
beforehand yeah yeah I I ran into him a
few times like he was like a a DVD dude
like he come and he shoot DVDs and stuff
like that as the camera person right he
would come and he like to get on the
camera like to be in kind of like be in
the shot with the artist and stuff like
that so you could tell he always wanted
to actually be an artist or be a part of
being seen and stuff like that so and go
back was interesting though because he like
like
he khed like look when I got into it
with Rick Ross and khed right I said I I
saw K the be Awards when that happened but
but
um I don't remember actually seeing Rick
Ross that that sparked his his interest
or to you know the things that he said
on his record to start but I I think
that's a part of hip-hop where a a new
artist Attacks An establish artist in
order to generate the interest that he's
already developed so
when that happened I didn't know who
Rick Ross was so I had to take a look
you know so I usually do my homework I
find somebody who knows somebody or
something to give me some information
like who is it like who is he and you
know Frenchie they went they got me the
tape and got me the tape of his mother
house where his mom's work at you know
what I'm saying the other cribs Studios
stuff like that that's the C take right
okay I all I had all of it I with they
were staying in uh
Atlanta all of locations cuz I ain't
taking no L's you can trust me you do
something we going to do it live but I'm
not even going to hide
it so when you say he that Frenchie had
to tape that was him taping
French Montana yeah Call's mom's house
right 50 Cent you're on a raft on a raft
in the middle of the ocean uhhuh you
look in the ocean you see two people you
can only pull up one all
right you look in the ocean you see
game and you see Mayweather who do you
ocean I I pull Floyd up still I heard
that yeah he
still big he still is my brother you
know what I'm saying it's just you just
T some crazy just went
crazy yeah like you know what I'm saying it's
it's
just it's like I don't even know how to
explain it sometime cuz you know I'm
used to it's easy to snap me in attack
mode I see you know what I'm saying I'm
nervous now just asking you these
questions no it's just like cuz when
like he does things like for me
he wouldn't get away with those things
if the relationship wasn't the way I
hear you you know what I'm saying and
I'm going
oh and then look everybody that was
around is still around so I can't even
make you like an
enemy cuz everybody just knows no that's
Floyd they go he's just like that he GNA
do that and and play like this because
the people around him are codependent
they stick around long enough for him to
come back like he flipflops but then he
comes back oh oh they stay getting
stirred up no I ain't messing with them
no more F and you don't see it until
it's your
turn you see what I'm saying you like
what comes around this F you crazy boy
you must be a punch away from [ __ ]
right right you go get out whoop your
mother stop it's more
like there you go it's more those things
where you get you get in a place where
you go n you serious be like a lot of
times if if you what would would be a a
a good reason for you not
to to try the person would
be there ain't nobody around
them really when you got all that
jewelry all the stuff out there like
that them boys
ain't they Ain really built for it tell
you the truth that's from the out that's
from the inside right the only thing
what's going to happen is if you
actually try him cuz he's still my
brother right right right I hear you you
going to get something cuz I'm send it
to you so there still that Shield that's
it you know what I'm saying like it's
still I I don't I I love like you could
say something and do something we how
does 50 pick a a single well I
actually I made so many records that it
kind of gets difficult to pick it to
pick out records like I've Done songs
with a lot of artists that that you
would hear the collaborations that I
made this time You' be like that's a
single right right right you know it's a
lot of records that just it feels like
like even the new day record is it are
you hard on yourself though fif very
really though very are you in
competition with yourself well yeah
because music matches time and to to
make something that is as relevant as
get rich or die trying for now is the
goal so it's like yeah to me that that's
like they go oh I missed the old50 you
mean you you miss thinking listening to
50 Cent when you didn't actually know
who he was right right so I was I was
the actual song at that point that you
was listening to CU you didn't know me
you know and you you don't get a second
chance at the first impression and now
what it is is they've
developed what who they they think I am
and then you know from there it's more
well they know more about me so is like
my my audience the people that are fans
of me and and the people who don't like
me for whatever reasons they they judge
me and decided not to like me because
I've been here 10 years you know and
I see it now like does it get harder now
though you know what I'm saying like
like going up against your own catalog
where people think they want to hear
from 50 does it get harder yeah it does
you know at points because you'll do
something and you know musically that
the the piece that you just put out was
done right M and they'll go oh maybe
what you just
wrote they say we love this when it was Drake
Drake
Vision but they don't want that from you
right right right but the song itself is
not a bad song right you see what I'm
saying like it's like conceptually it
was the same record like I I did I Tim
get close get get close on that mic
there was a beat that timberin gave me
and Drake made a song about
um he had a hit record that Timlin made
with him it was for timlin's album and
Tim gave me the same exact track but but
what happened was I had already recorded
that record with R Kelly over Dre
production like I made the song that
that conceptually fits that record right
right on that so I was like n I'm I'mma
stick with
Dre Dre's how I got here you see what
I'm saying it's in the club in the club
music p p if you don't have those things
it's a whole another person talking to
you cuz I needed his guidance his production
production
and he was a toer it me at a time that
it makes everything
seems abnormal or a little like crazy
when you don't understand it because if
you don't know that things are going to
get pretty awkward dealing with Dre
trust me it's going to get interesting
hey man is Dre on the new album yeah we
well we did uh day track the new day
okay with me uh Alicia Dre and Alicia
and um that one we look look I had to
say that was the first single right why
and it was because it leaked out because
at leici and them put the version of the
song out first I okay can first single
of the record and catch up to try and
get it to get the momentum and cuz we
turned around you you heard my version
of the song second yeah wasn't it just
her first yeah the new day was just and
who leaked it you did huh no no no at
least you put it out at Le put it out
like they sat on it for a long time Dre
you know how long he'll be there with
the music man good Lord there like it's
a hit and they did they did the
production over Swiss did the whole beat
over like the way Dre did it right oh
really though played the strings over
everything and then put it out with the
Alicia version he really produced the
Alicia version of the actual joint but
you can't like do over a Dre be go what
I will sue you till you blw in the face
man and man so I only don't even want to
ask about detox man I I I asked you that
10 years ago like I've seen you guys on
patiently waiting on never enough what's
your favorite collab with
Eminem man
um patiently waiting so far yeah and I
mean and I like the the psycho record
that we did on uh yeah on Force sou the
Str but he we never performed that
record are there records that that you
and you and M have together that we
haven't heard yet yeah we got like CDs
man like cuz look we did collab albums
is the music business too slow for how
fast you want to move sometime yeah you
know what cuzz the once you condition B
like we walk in like people be surprised
like we been writing since 9 I've been
writing since 97 so it it's not like a
long drooling process music is fun man
if if it's not if it doesn't come to you
when when the music is playing
something's wrong maybe it's not the
right time for you to be in front of
that music and or you need to change the
music until you feel something and and
it doesn't necessarily mean that some of
the stuff that you're passing on isn't
good for you to go back to it it's just
at that particular moment play something
that inspires you or or brings something
out of you and me and EM we
relapse I think there's like four or
five songs during that album yeah I need
I need one of those record we got two on
call it Big Boy son
tuition that's the album that working on
right now man where I'm just asking
everybody to give me a little song man
so if you want to yeah if you want to
give me that 50 uh Eminem I'll take it
you know what I'm saying best believe we
can start the paperwork on Renee start
that paperwork please we got 50 c in the
neighborhood Big Boy Neighborhood [Music]
