0:00 so you have a 3our long video to
0:02 transcribe and that video might even be
0:04 20 gab in size if you know what I mean
0:07 in this video I'll show you how to do
0:08 all of these things done using
0:11 artificial intelligence extremely fast
0:13 and for free and here is my favorite
0:15 part you can do transcription directly
0:18 from Google Drive meaning that you not
0:19 need to download those super massive
0:21 files and reupload them anywhere you can
0:23 do them from anywhere so if your
0:25 Internet sucks like mine you're good to
0:27 go let's do it
0:32 to generate our transcript we're going
0:33 to be using assembly Ai and they will
0:36 give you 100 hours of material to
0:38 transcribe for free and it's incredibly
0:40 accurate let me show you how to do this
0:42 we're going to go to assembly a.com link
0:45 down below click on get started and off
0:48 the bat you see all of the scary code
0:50 which you will not need to know how to
0:52 use click on no code playground where
0:55 you can just drag and drop your file and
0:57 get your transcript click on up your
1:00 file today I'll be transcribing a 3-hour
1:03 long episode with Elon Musk
1:06 1169 if you know what I mean let's go
1:10 the file size is too large okay I've
1:12 just gotten the audio only version which
1:14 I'm going to upload let's go and before
1:16 you hit that transcribe button assembly
1:18 AI comes with a couple additional
1:20 features that might be handy for example
1:22 the summary of the conversation
1:24 automated chapter titles topic detection
1:28 moderation if you say words like
1:30 by the way this playground feature from
1:32 assembly AI is meant for testing so it's
1:34 a little bit of a workaround if you were
1:37 to use any other AI transcription
1:38 service you know how much this would
1:40 cost you how about 25 cents per minute
1:44 so I've just saved you
1:48 $15,000 you're
1:51 welcome now I travel a lot and internet
1:54 is most of the time so good luck working
1:56 with those 10 20 50 GB files but what if
1:59 you could get through transcripts
2:01 without having to download and reupload
2:03 files anywhere well you can to make this
2:06 happen we're going to be using a Google
2:08 collab Playbook so you will see some
2:10 code but it might as well be Chinese
2:12 because you don't really need to
2:14 understand it you just need to click one
2:16 button it's how easy we made it link to
2:20 it is down below in the description
2:22 completely for free once again check it
2:24 out to get started we'll need to do only
2:26 three things we'll need to connect our
2:28 Google Drive then we need to add the API
2:31 key from assembly Ai and then we'll need
2:33 to point at the file that we want to get
2:36 transcribed let's go ahead and do this
2:38 first we're going to get that API key
2:41 let's go to assembly Ai slapp and here
2:44 we have our magical API key and let's
2:47 paste it here next up I'm going to
2:49 connect Google Drive by clicking this
2:51 play button and there we go we can
2:53 access any file that's in our Google
2:55 Drive I'm going to go to drive share
2:58 drives find the file that I want to
3:00 transcribe this is going to be this Jo
3:02 Rogan episode that's 900 megabytes in
3:04 size copy path and paste it over here
3:08 there we go all we need to do from now
3:10 is click on runtime and run all it is
3:14 done the script has finished running and
3:16 in case you're curious this 3-hour long
3:18 conversation took 11 minutes to get
3:21 processed now when you go to the
3:23 original folder where your file to be
3:25 transcribed is located you'll find all
3:27 of these beautiful files most
3:29 importantly your transcript over here
3:32 but of course I love you so much I've
3:34 added some bonuses for example you get
3:36 your subtitles automatically generated
3:39 how amazing is that now you have uh
3:42 something that I call sentences let me
3:44 open this with Google Drive so you will
3:47 have each sentence and the speaker who
3:49 said that sentence in a nice spreadsheet
3:52 over here and this file alone is super
3:54 handy for post- production it saves Us
3:56 hours what else do we have in this gift
3:58 buset well chapter titles you know how
4:01 painful it is to create chapter titles
4:04 well here we have all of the chapter
4:06 titles automatically
4:10 created I already told you about the
4:12 setup section next up we have this
4:14 naming function over here that will
4:17 allow us to create all of the files with
4:19 the same file name as our original file
4:22 over there to speed up processing and
4:24 this is huge I'm very proud of it we're
4:26 going to turn a massive video into an
4:29 audio file so instead of sending a 10 GB
4:31 file for example to assembly AI we're
4:34 just going to send them a tiny MP3 file
4:37 over here that was automatically
4:39 generated and it's 53 megab long it's
4:42 going to speed things up tremendously
4:44 and it runs automatically in the
4:45 background you can also set custom
4:47 spelling it's very useful for brand
4:50 names for example open AI will be two
4:52 words instead of one or GPT 4 will be
4:55 GPT 4 written out instead of GPT 4 this
4:58 was transcription settings we haven't
5:00 started transcribing yet this cell over
5:02 here starts the transcription process it
5:04 took 11 minutes and then we save all of
5:07 this information in the following
5:09 functions for example we save the
5:10 transcript we save the subtitles we save
5:12 the chapter titles in this beautiful
5:14 format boom just like that I save you a
5:16 few hours of your precious life and if
5:18 this doesn't deserve a like under this
5:20 video I do not know it does if you want
5:22 to take your video production to the
5:24 next level check out what we do at
5:26 represent link is down below in the
5:28 description and till next time
