So, it's been 100 days since I started
my YouTube channel. Now, let me answer
the questions everyone's probably
thinking. Did I go viral overnight? Did
I hit 10,000 subs in 2 months like some
channels claim? Did I get monetized and
start raking it in? Well, not quite. But
that's okay. The truth, it's been a
roller coaster. More work than I
imagined, slower progress than I hoped,
and definitely more lessons than I
signed up for. I see channels in my
niche blow up fast, and yeah, I won't
lie, it messes with your head. But this
video isn't about envy or
disappointment. It's about the real
experience, the effort, the grind, the
moments that made me question
everything, and the reasons I'm still
going. Whether you're just starting or
deep in the trenches like me, I want to
show you what 100 days on YouTube really
looks like. No fluff, no shortcuts, just
my honest story. Let's get into it. I
launched this channel on January 20th,
2025. Faceless animation, motivational
content, just a guy, some ideas, and a
lot of hope. I thought I knew what I was
getting into. I didn't. But here's the
twist. I'm still here, still uploading,
still learning, still pushing forward.
Because this isn't just about numbers.
It's about building something real from
scratch. And I'll be honest, part of me
thought, okay, after 15 or 20 videos,
I'll probably hit the next level. You
know, 5K views, maybe 10K, who knows?
Maybe even 20K on a good day. Yeah, that
didn't happen. Turns out YouTube wasn't
waiting to roll out the red carpet. It
was more like, "Cool video. Now go make
20 more and maybe we'll talk." The first
few uploads kind of rough, but they had
soul. They were mine. This was my first
time doing anything like this ever, and
I was learning with every awkward line
and every silent why did I say that
moment in the edit. Somehow, I still
managed to pull 1,000 to 2,000 views in
the first month. Got 115 subscribers.
And let me tell you, it felt like
hitting the lottery. That early rush,
it's powerful. Every comment feels like
a trophy. Every new sub is a jolt of
motivation. If you want more behind the
scenes from that phase, I actually made
a whole video about it. It's called I
tried faceless YouTube automation for 50
days. And then the grind kicked in. Not
just the videos, the thumbnails, titles,
voiceovers, editing, re-editing,
planning, analyzing analytics. 7 to 10
hours a day, 40 to 50 hours a week. All
packed into a channel most people didn't
even know existed. Sometimes I'd pour my
soul into a video, the one I was sure
would pop, and it would get 30
views. 30. I'd stare at the stats like,
"Is YouTube broken or what?" But I kept
going because that's the deal. You
either push through or give up. And I
wasn't about to quit on something I
believed in. Let's talk about
expectations versus reality. I watched
those how I got monetized in 30 days
videos. All those success stories and
hacks, they made it look like it was
just a checklist away. Spoiler, it's
not. I tried the tips, titles,
thumbnails, watch time boosters. Sure,
some helped, especially clickable titles
and solid content in the first 30
seconds, but nothing guaranteed success
because that's the reality. They don't
always share. What works for them might
not work for you. And most of them they
have years of experience editing teams
or momentum you don't. I learned to stop
chasing their journey and commit to
mine. Okay. So what actually worked?
Well, the video that did best was one
called How Cheating Works. Accident or
Opportunity. It brought in 3.9K views,
252 watch hours, and 61 subscribers. Not
viral, but real. Why did it work? The
topic was provocative. The title sparked
curiosity. The intro hooked people and
the rest just raw honesty. Also
feedback. People left comments. Some
just support. Some gave real technical
tips. I listened, made changes, adapted
because every small adjustment added up.
Not in some secret formula kind of way,
but in the do better tomorrow kind of
way. This journey has taught me more
than I expected. not just about content,
but about consistency, mindset, and
patience. I've learned that YouTube
success doesn't reward effort
immediately, and sometimes effort
doesn't equal result. But also, no time
is wasted. Even if you don't succeed
today, you learn, you improve, you build
endurance. There were moments I wanted
to quit, but I didn't because I keep
telling you not to quit, and I owe that
same promise to myself. And next, we'll
break down the actual stats up to this
point. So, stick around. It's time to
show the full picture. After 100 days,
29 videos,
43,600 views, 701 subscribers, 1,300
hours of watch time. I'm not there yet,
but I'm on the road. And now I know what
it really takes. So, if you're starting
out, know this. It's not supposed to be
easy, and that's okay. There are tons of
videos showing crazy success and income
stats, but remember this journey is
deeply personal. What works for them
might not work for you and vice versa.
Just keep going one upload at a time
because every honest video, every
mistake, every learning moment, it
