I want to deal with a very important subject.

Now, Matthew 17 is a very interesting
portion of scripture. It's one of my favorite
favorite
parts of the Bible.
Now, not because
of what we just read, but because of the
fact that in Matthew 17
from the verse number one until this
time, we see
Jesus enter a certain type of realm of glory.
We see what happens when men decide to
wait on the Lord.
The Bible talks about how Jesus
ascended the mountain with Peter, James
and John. And the Bible tell us that as
Jesus begin to pray, he goes through
what we call metamorphosis.
The Bible says that the fashion of his
countenance begins to be altered. His
face began to become like the sun and
his clothes become dazzling white. And
the Bible now tells us that he now
enters a realm of glory where he begins
to see Moses and Elijah. He begins to
see a culmination or an intercourse of
the prophets and the law coming into
effect because his assignment was that
he came to pro he came to fulfill the
law and that which the prophets have
spoken. Now as we are being ushered into
this realm of glory, there is also
something that is very sad.
And the sad part is that these three men
that Jesus taught that they have the
capacity to enter into this glory with
him. We are told that as they ascend the
mountain with him, they begin to sleep.
And by the time they awake, they
actually see the glory. And Peter now
begins to tell Jesus, well, this glory
is very heavy. If it is possible, let us
actually build a tent and stay here.
Then the Bible tell us that Jesus would
usher them from the mountaintop. But the
moment they begin to come down, we are
now introduced to the story here or what
we just read. There's a tragedy. You
recognize that what is happening at the
top of the mountain and that which is
happening at the foot of the mountain is
very different. The same mountain but
the experience at the mountain top and
the experience at the foot of the
mountain is very different. At the top
of the mountain there is glory. At the
top of the mountain there are prophetic
manifestations. At the top of the
mountain a man is being changed. As at
top of the mountain a man is being
metamophobed. But then at the foot of
the mountain there is chaos because
these guys that walk with this man that
everybody believes that they have the
abilities of this man somebody has
brought a child to them. And the Bible
says that these men who are disciples of
Jesus are actually struggling. So Jesus
comes down from this mountaintop
experience and he said oh faithless and
perverse generation. Now it's very
interesting because in one statement he
was decoding the problem. He said number
one you don't have faith. It means that
to be able to move this type of demons
the man has to get to the place where
he's confident in who he is. He must
have faith to be able to exercise this
dominion. But he said number two, he
said you are actually perverse. Jesus
was also trying to say that there's a
certain level of authority especially
when it comes to dealing with satanic
forces that a man dwelling in iniquity
cannot deal with. I'm coming somewhere.

comes down and say bring this boy to me.
And the Bible says that in that very
hour the boy is healed. And I can just
imagine these disciples go to Jesus
secretly and say, "Sir, what's going on?"

Then Jesus tells them that look this kind.

This kind, you've not dealt with it before.

Tell somebody this kind.
Tell the person there are no experiences
there. There's no experience

Now let's go through scripture a little

in time we are talking about Matthew 17.

didn't know what he's doing. Don't tell
me that they were just apprentices. Look
the chapter number 10 the verse number

come." This is another opportunity. The
last time we, it's been a while. We are
looking for demons to cast out. This is
the opportunity. But Jesus came and saw
this guy's actually sweating.
Then the man said, "Sir, I actually
brought this, you know, my son." Now,
now you must actually know how powerful
that demon is because when you look at
the type of things that this demon deals
with in terms of the things this he is,
he's he's not just a demon that deals
with fire. You know that if if that
child was falling into physical fire and
physical water, he would have been
physically dead. The Bible is talking
that the elements this demon dying is

You have history." But this kind, that
word kind is an evidence that from the
spiritual world there are ranks. Let's

demon left their building and said, he
said, you are the one I'm looking for.
The demon said, you afraid of me. He
said, he said, why don't you come
and cont? Why are you letting these
kids? Why don't you come and contend
with me?
I'm tell guys, I'm telling you story.
Then I told everybody, I said I said,
lock the door. Everybody stay. It's me
and this demon. Today we we we will
finish ourselves here
in the matter of

I got home, I promise you, I keep your
own life. By the time I got there, my
whole intercessors were in the waiting
by for me by the I said, "Okay, guys,
what's God?" They said, "Pastor,
they said, "Pastor, we feel
we are not saved."
They said pastor this thing is actually
very very very
shameful and it has shaken us to the
core. They said, "Pastor, why?
Why were we saying everything we've said
before and done before and it was not
working?" Then I sat down with them. We
did one or two things and I said,
"Effective from 12:00 midnight,
you are entering a fast,
no water,
no food. We are going on." That demon
came to reveal to us in that church the
weight of our spiritual force. That's
why I knew that you can have people here
holding the mic andh and screaming and
living topic, but just because a man is
saying all the right words does not mean
that they have the ne they may have way
to confront some things that they not
necessarily have the power to confront
another type of kind.
And from that time I recognized that as
a church that God was actually calling
us to step it a notch higher because we
were like though we were successful in
dealing with some things there were
things that were still left.
>> I'm coming somewhere. Sit down. Sit
down. I'm coming some. So So I can sympathize

with these disciples.
Then Jesus said, "No, no, no, no. In the

he said there are kinds. Now, if it
means that there are kinds in the
demonic world, it even means that in the
world we also come from, there are

Do you remember the story in the book of
Daniel the chapter number 10 where
Daniel is praying and an angel is
actually bringing about the answer to
Daniel. But this angel now meets a
principality of the prince of Bersia.
And that angel is not able to prevail
until God sends reinforcement for
Michael to come and contend to release
this angel. Can you actually imagine
that a principality from the kingdom of
darkness arrested a holy angel of the Lord?
Lord?
Now Jude tells us that in the heavenly realm
realm
that Michael actually defeated Satan.
But Jude will tell us that when they
came to the earth realm and they were
contending over the dead body of Moses,
this same Michael that was able to
overcome Satan in the heavenly realms
all of a sudden could not defeat Satan.
So now Jude will tell us that now um um
um um now now now he will tell us that
what actually now begins to happen is
that that
uh the archangel Michael will now begin
to call upon the Lord and say the Lord
rebuke you.
That statement is in the book of
Zechariah. The Lord rebuke you. The Lord
God of Israel rebuke you. It tells you
that even battles in terrains are
difficult then you can actually fight
something on the land but if it takes
you into the water the battle or the
dynamics of the battle becomes
different. Now I'm trying to tell you
that the same angel Michael that the
Bible say that he actually just you know
casted him out on the earth realm.
Michael began to struggle until he began
to call upon the Lord and said the Lord
rebuke you. Michael did not rebuke Satan
in the Ethm. Do you know why? Because
there were two archangels contending in
Yet Michael the Archangel in contending
with the devil when he disputed about
the body of Moses did not bring him a
in heaven he did a lie in earth the
Bible says he did not dare guys what I'm
trying to say is that don't be
comfortable trouble with the level of
consecration you've assumed. It may

no place for complacency.
When Daniel was praying and the prince
of Persia was defeated, the angel said,
"Kill her, continue to pray because you
have dealt with the prince of Persia,
but the prince of Greece is coming."
That is why in the realm of the spirit,
you cannot be at ease because you worn a battle.
That is why in as much as the fasting
you did last year is important, I
promise you that you've been ushered
into another higher level
of fight.
Do you understand what I'm trying to
say? That's why I'm telling you that
even though that you're six to six
conquered something, you see Jesus would
tell us that demons are smarter. When
they recognize that they've been
conquered, he said they look for seven
demons stronger. So the moment you
conquer what there is another seven that
is coming and that is why you cannot
settle on that level and say ah I fasted
last year it's okay I prayed last year
it's okay I I conquered something and
it's okay no no no no that is why Paul
said fight that good fight of faith he
said wage a good warfare the Bible said
woe to those who are at ease in Zion
because the moment you choose a
to stand on the side of righteousness.
Have you actually recognized that? I
don't know about you, but I used to get high.
Sometimes it just starts with cigarette.
Then at a point in time your body
develops a certain level of immunity.
Then the craving is like ah this thing
does not do me the way it used to do.
Then you say okay. Then your friends
will tell ah no there's something stronger.

Then then you go from that to weed. Then
you get to a place where it takes a long
time for the smoke to you know to sort
of say a no no there's something you you
inject in your body. It moves quick.
Then they tell you that at a point in
time your body begins to become immune.
There is a certain place where coffee
doesn't work anymore. Energy drink
doesn't work anymore. There's a certain
type of place where you know all the
things that used to get you because the
py has a certain level of intelligence
to say ah this thing conquered me today.
But I'm building a certain level of
resistance. And that's why my friend,
you can still be reading one chapter a
day after 10 years of being saved.
That's why my brother, you can still be
doing two minutes a week. It may have
conquered some type of demons. But the
demonic world understand the concept of
intelligence. And there's a wisdom there
that if they conquer brings something stronger.
Now
the crazy thing about that narrative is
that he said if that demon brings seven
that is stronger and they come back. He
said the person's end
would be worse. It means that anybody
that gains victory in this spiritual
battle and doesn't have the capacity to
push themselves to ascend you know
against the impending battles on
different ranks if they are not careful
and they begin to slack. Not the enemy
is not just going to be defeating them.
But the time will come by the time they
recognize they falling from grass to grass.
