0:05 >> And now we turn to the latest on ICE
0:07 operations in Chicago where we've just
0:09 learned that Homeland Security Secretary
0:11 Christy Gnome is here in the Chicago area.
0:11 area.
0:13 >> This as we are learning about increased
0:14 ICE activity.
0:16 >> So ICE is taking Chicago by storm,
0:19 removing astounding numbers of federal
0:22 fugitives from its streets. And this is
0:25 happening just as Chicago's radical
0:28 mayor celebrated the supposed pullback
0:31 of the National Guard who's not coming.
0:33 But meanwhile, ICE has been secretly
0:35 gearing up for an enforcement blitz no
0:37 American city has seen before, which
0:40 means this could be the end of Chicago
0:42 as we know it.
0:44 >> Leaders tell us dozens of people were
0:46 detained in West Chicago with arrests
0:48 happening at a grocery store and outside
0:50 of an apartment complex. The video
0:52 posted to a West Chicago Facebook group
0:54 shows federal immigration agents pulling
0:56 a driver from a car.
0:58 >> Crowds took over the loop downtown
0:59 overnight. And on the southside, it was
1:01 a street takeover. This is video from
1:03 26th and Western. A large crowd got
1:05 together there, waving large Mexican
1:07 flags. You can see and hear the group
1:10 blocking traffic, doing burnouts. Jails
1:13 and incarceration and law enforcement is
1:15 a sickness that has not led to safe
1:17 communities. I'm going to work hard
1:19 every single day to protect the people
1:21 who are caught up in in in
1:22 >> what's calling me to be here today is
1:24 the people that I've seen that have been
1:26 showing hatred towards this nation. The
1:27 people that have been showing disdain
1:28 for this nation, disgust for this
1:30 nation. We live in America. We should
1:32 proud American patriots and pledge our
1:33 allegiance to this nation.
1:35 >> Stay in your car. This is my city.
1:37 That's right. Out of your houses.
1:38 Everyone do not come out.
1:41 >> Brian, I you know I when I see this, I
1:43 think she really needs to see someone.
1:45 She may need some help. [Music]
1:50 [Music]
1:53 So, the entire Chicago area is a haven
1:57 for federal fugitives. And what nobody's
1:58 talking about is even though the
1:59 National Guard could still come to
2:02 Chicago, the immediate need now is to
2:04 get as many ICE agents over here as
2:06 possible, removing criminals from the
2:09 streets. Something ICE can do without
2:11 any time limit. Because while the outofc
2:13 control crime destroying Chicago is
2:15 terrible and so reprehensible, it's low
2:17 approval mayor should have resigned
2:20 yesterday, the problem is the laws in
2:22 this place release criminals as fast as
2:24 they get arrested. Which means after a
2:26 temporary National Guard deployment
2:28 ends, the crime can just come walking
2:31 right back in. Unless those criminals
2:32 get deported, then they can't come back
2:35 at all. And illegal immigration is a
2:37 different type of crime altogether
2:38 because it's something that hurts our
2:41 entire country. And with Chicago being
2:43 not just a sanctuary for criminals with
2:46 its revolving door jails, it's also a
2:48 sanctuary for federal fugitives who know
2:51 that in Chicago, if they get arrested by
2:53 police, they'll be set free without ICE
2:55 ever finding out. And that brings us to
2:57 the real reason we're going to see even
2:59 more ICE activity in Chicago. local
3:02 progressive laws and local criminals.
3:03 Yes, they might be a permanent fixture
3:05 here, but if you've got a place that's
3:07 attracting illegal immigrants from all
3:09 across the world, that puts our entire
3:12 country at risk. And if you want to make
3:14 a dent in a crime wave, the best place
3:17 to start is by permanently removing
3:20 people who commit crime, which ICE is
3:22 already doing on a daily basis here,
3:24 having arrested hundreds of illegal
3:27 aliens so far this year already. And now
3:36 [Music]
3:39 >> So that apartment complex is now safer
3:42 that federal fugitives are not living
3:44 there. But the entire city of Chicago is
3:47 like this. Criminals are everywhere. And
3:49 predictably, the party of political
4:03 So, to be honest with you, these protesters,
4:04 protesters,
4:06 their ranks are a little bit thin. But
4:09 it's obvious the violent mobs out there
4:11 want to turn Chicago into Portland,
4:12 Oregon, which is why there are now
4:15 constant protests outside the local ICE
4:17 facility here. But the bad news for
4:19 these protesters is that it certainly
4:21 looks like ICE is here to stay because
4:23 they've got a lot of work to do. The
4:25 other is a new border patrol team that's
4:28 just getting going. First, Midway Blitz.
4:32 >> So far, they told me that 250 people
4:33 have been arrested.
4:35 >> Congresswoman Lauren Underwood, who
4:37 represents Aurora and Joliet, was
4:39 briefed about it Monday by ICE leaders
4:41 who shared precisely who they're looking
4:44 for. Anyone who has been arrested and
4:48 booked, charged or convicted and then
4:51 released by local law enforcement and is
4:54 not a lawfully present US person is
4:56 eligible for their enforcement.
5:00 >> I mean, how could anyone have a problem
5:01 with that? Here we've got federal
5:04 fugitives who are in Chicago who commit
5:06 crimes and then are released by the
5:08 local justice system, which just allows
5:10 them to go out there and commit crime
5:12 again. This is why the ICE deployment
5:13 here is so important. There's nothing
5:16 ICE can do if a US citizen who's in
5:18 Chicago makes their way through their
5:20 revolving door jails every single day.
5:22 But what they can do is permanently
5:24 remove illegal immigrants who do the
5:26 same thing. People who should be behind
5:29 bars in any sane society and off the
5:30 streets, but aren't because this place
5:32 protects its criminals. This is all very
5:34 simple. Less criminals on the streets of
5:38 Chicago equals a safer Chicago. Even if
5:40 the people running this place don't
5:42 think that actually is going to work,
5:45 >> has asked me to send federal troops into
5:47 this city to make it safe, it has never
5:49 come up. It never came up during the
5:50 campaign. It's never come up in the
5:52 first two years. The fact of the matter
5:54 is we are driving violence down in this
5:56 city and we're using every single
5:59 resource that's available to us. Jails
6:01 and incarceration and law enforcement is
6:04 a sickness that has not led to safe
6:05 communities. I'm going to
6:07 >> What a ridiculous statement. We're using
6:09 every resource available to us to drive
6:13 down violence and crime except for jails
6:15 and police. Is it any wonder why this
6:18 place has a massive crime problem? You
6:20 got to build a jail and you got to fill
6:21 that jail up. It's what you got to do.
6:24 And what's even more ridiculous is that
6:27 the mayor here is acting outraged that
6:28 nobody went to him and asked for
6:31 permission to deploy the National Guard
6:35 as if he would be in favor of deploying
6:37 heavily armed troops to scare away
6:39 criminals. That's probably why no one
6:40 asked him. They knew what the answer
6:42 would be. But crime here is through the
6:44 roof. Everyone knows it. The law-abiding
6:46 are afraid of it. But here Chicago is
6:48 saying that they're going to clean up
6:49 the streets, but they're not going to
6:51 arrest anybody. They're not going to put
6:54 anybody in jails. H how exactly is that
6:55 going to work? It's not working. It's not.
6:56 not.
6:57 >> By border patrol commander Gregory
6:59 Bavino, who led the federal effort to
7:02 target immigration in Los Angeles, we're
7:03 told by sources it will look more like
7:06 the LA effort with more indiscriminate
7:08 raids. Bavino's team has a history of
7:11 targeting Home Depot and car washes. Of
7:13 note, neither of these efforts are using
7:16 the National Guard as they have not been
7:18 mobilized in Illinois. Nonetheless, it
7:20 leaves Underwood's constituents unsettled.
7:20 unsettled.
7:22 >> They're scared that this is going to
7:24 come to their block.
7:26 >> What a stupid thing to be scared of. If
7:28 you are on your block and you're here in
7:31 America legally and the criminals who
7:34 aren't are gone, why is that scary?
7:35 Unless you're a criminal. But the
7:38 reality here is this messaging is
7:41 designed to scare people into believing
7:43 that ICE is out there deporting the
7:45 wrong people. And the Progressive Party
7:47 of Political Violence has decided to
7:49 brainwash as many people as it can,
7:51 making them think that law enforcement's
7:53 out to get them when that's not the case
7:56 at all. Because their goal is for their
7:59 followers to confront federal agents in
8:01 the streets in front of the news to try
8:04 and generate outrage all across America.
8:05 And as you're about to see, it's working
8:07 on some people. But just before we
8:10 continue, quick word from our sponsor.
8:11 The stories we're going over today
8:14 reveal that sadly the world we live in
8:18 is full of crime. So full in fact that
8:21 we're not even safe on the internet.
8:23 Which is why I'm thrilled to tell you
8:26 about today's video sponsor, ExpressVPN.
8:29 Because online security starts with a
8:31 VPN, which allows you to safely and
8:34 privately access the web on any device
8:36 you own by encrypting and rerouting your
8:39 connection through secure servers, which
8:41 protects you from people who might try
8:43 to steal your banking login information
8:45 or from those who'd steal your identity
8:48 and commit financial fraud in your name.
8:50 And with so many unmonitored, unsafe
8:53 places like random coffee shops and even
8:55 the New York City subway offering free
8:58 Wi-Fi, if you're like me, you'll
9:00 definitely want a VPN to protect
9:02 yourself from scumbags trying to steal
9:04 your internet traffic, especially when
9:05 you're trying to have a little peace of
9:08 mind and relax on that rare vacation.
9:10 But the best part is that a single
9:13 ExpressVPN subscription works
9:16 simultaneously on up to 14 devices and
9:18 protects your entire household. Take
9:20 your phone right here. Turn on the
9:23 camera. Use it to scan this QR code
9:26 right here. Or visit expressvpn.com/cash
9:28 and you'll get 4 months free of
9:31 ExpressVPN. You can scan the QR code.
9:33 You can follow this link right here.
9:34 It's also going to be in the video
9:37 description. Now, let's get back to the
9:39 video. You're watching federal agents
9:41 pull out weapons at 9:30 Tuesday
9:43 morning. They boxed in this landscaping
9:46 truck just as two sons exited the
9:49 7-Eleven at Ballard and Powder Roads.
9:51 Yet, when Rigger Borto Ruiz, seen here,
9:53 left the store. The surveillance shows
9:56 ICE agents moved in. The video shows one
9:59 agent came from in front of the truck to
10:02 the passenger side where we cannot see
10:04 what happened from this angle. We do see
10:07 the truck reversing as more agents moved
10:09 in. That's when you see Edgar at the top
10:11 of your screen, run across the
10:15 >> Okay, this right here is what lying to
10:17 people does. It creates dangerous
10:19 situations like this where you have
10:22 people in a moving vehicle using that
10:24 vehicle in a manner that is dangerous to
10:26 the general public, the fugitive who is
10:28 being sought by ICE, and the agents
10:31 themselves. Everyone is at risk because
10:33 of this guy in the red right here and
10:36 his foolish behavior, which elected
10:38 leaders have convinced people is what
10:39 they should believe and how they should
10:42 act. People in sanctuary cities in
10:44 particular have been taught that they
10:46 need to rise up and put everyone in
10:49 danger for absolutely no reason to stop
10:51 something that's not actually happening.
10:52 ICE isn't after them.
10:55 >> Busy road. ICE agents followed. The
10:57 second brother ran down the block at the
10:59 right of your screen. Yet the father who
11:01 is undocumented and has lived in the
11:04 United States for 30 years did not run.
11:06 >> The Latino community as a whole under
11:08 attack and that means even if you're a
11:10 US citizen, you know, like you got to
11:12 carry your your pass.
11:15 >> So this is crazy. Here we've got an
11:16 activist saying the community is under
11:18 attack. But we've got two US citizens
11:20 who we know ICE is not after. And then
11:22 we've got the father who's been here for
11:24 30 years and for some reason is still
11:27 here illegally running a business. But
11:29 you know something, at least the father
11:31 didn't run. He's smarter than his sons
11:34 who ran away for no reason and abandoned
11:34 their father.
11:36 >> Agent originally came to the door. The
11:38 agent tried holding the door closed,
11:41 preventing Edgar from opening it. Edgar
11:43 says at that time he and his family had
11:45 no idea who was at the vehicle. That's
11:47 when he told everyone in the truck to
11:49 run for their lives. And despite being a
11:51 US citizen, he says they ran out of
11:53 fear. And those are the concerns the
11:55 Latino leadership. That's where we bring
11:58 in the brainwashing part of this whole
12:00 thing because he ran out of fear. What's
12:03 he afraid of? ICE has never deported an
12:06 American citizen. Hasn't happened.
12:08 Everybody who the news says was wrongly
12:10 deported always turns out to be a gang
12:13 member or a fugitive or somebody with a
12:15 rap sheet so heinous nobody would want
12:17 to be in their near vicinity. That's for
12:19 sure. And the reason you see these folks
12:20 lined up at this press event is so that
12:22 they can continue telling everyone how
12:25 scared they are and how communities are
12:27 on edge and how they're being disrupted
12:29 and how US citizens are somehow in
12:31 danger when all they had to do was sit
12:33 in the car and not abandon their father
12:34 and he would have peacefully been taken
12:37 into custody and everybody would have at
12:40 least had a calm resolution to a
12:42 situation that's been going on for 30
12:45 years apparently with the dad being here
12:49 and not being legal. Stay in your car.
12:50 >> This is my city. That's right.
12:51 >> Look at this woman.
12:54 >> Take off your mask. Take off your mask. What?
12:59 >> This is crazy.
13:01 >> Inside of your houses. Everyone do not
13:01 come out.
13:03 >> Look at this person.
13:05 >> She's in tears. Take off your mask.
13:06 >> Oh, she's a senator.
13:08 >> They're gang members. What What do you
13:09 What do you say to her,
13:12 >> Brian? I You know, I when I see this, I
13:14 think she really needs to see someone.
13:16 She may need some help. Uh, as far as
13:19 taking our masks off, that's to keep our
13:22 arbitral agents and ICE officers safe
13:26 with a,000% increase in assaults against
13:26 federal agents.
13:28 >> Right? So, the party of political
13:31 violence wants to unmask people who are
13:33 out there keeping America safe so that
13:34 they can take things to the next level.
13:36 They want to know who every single agent
13:38 is. They want to harass people. That's
13:39 how they think they can win the war on
13:41 the border is by figuring out exactly
13:43 who law enforcement is so that they can
13:45 personally go after these people and go
13:46 after their families. And you know what?
13:48 In light of recent events that have
13:49 taken place in this country, I want
13:52 every ICE agent to wear a mask. Things
13:53 are much more dangerous out there than
13:55 many of us wanted to believe. And the
13:57 screaming radicals we see, they might
13:58 not look frightening. They might look
14:01 kind of crazy, but that's because they
14:03 are and they mean what they're saying.
14:04 It's very frightening. doing operations
14:07 such as this. Uh I think it makes sense
14:10 for those masks to be there. And uh just
14:12 look at the ICE officer that was
14:14 severely wounded in Franklin Park just
14:17 last week in Chicago. There's a reason
14:19 for this and folks like uh like that
14:22 elected representative need to tone down
14:25 that we've said this many times, Brian,
14:27 that leads to no nothing good.
14:29 >> We know this. I don't know what he
14:30 thinks he's doing. I guess running for
14:32 president. If Pritsker calls you, would
14:34 you take the call or should you call him
14:36 and just tell him what you're doing?
14:37 >> I wouldn't talk to the governor of
14:39 Illinois or the mayor about anything
14:41 until two weeks after it's happened.
14:42 Because you know what? Those guys, they
14:45 hate ICE. They hate law enforcement.
14:47 >> What we know is that Gregory Bo, who
14:49 seems to be in charge of the operations
14:51 here, has a history of acting in ways
14:54 that are quite violent against people,
14:57 many of whom are not criminals. They are
15:00 grabbing people who have brown skin or
15:02 who speak with an accent or who uh speak
15:03 another language.
15:05 >> The governor is not going to cooperate.
15:07 He's not there to help. He's not there
15:10 to make Illinois safer. Yes, he says he
15:12 is, but I don't think he is. But the
15:13 real question is, what do you think?
15:15 Thank you so much for watching. I will
