if you want to make real serious money

with affiliate marketing this is the

video to invest your time in I know it's

crazy long so I'm not going to waste

your time but I am going to say two very

important things and the first one is

what I've used to make more than $5

million as an affiliate over the last 6

or seven years and the second thing is

all of this used to be in a paid course

and now it's completely free everything

that I used to charge money for is going

to come out in this video that's why

it's so long because it's everything

that I know about affiliate marketing

there will be no optins at the end there

will be no pointing you to any to try to

sell you on anything this is just a

video for you if you're trying to figure

out affiliate marketing you don't have a

big budget to spend on courses software

anything like that this is what you need

I should also add that if there is

something that you feel like you

understand that I'm talking about you

can either tap on a phone or hover on a

computer and you'll see all those little

markers on the bottom and you can skip

ahead to the next section that you need

to learn more about so let's dive in now

and talk about affiliate marketing

everything we need to know first off

let's talk about what it is briefly now

for this example we're going to use

Amazon because everyone knows about

Amazon we're going to hop on my screen

here and you're going to see this is a

product uh this is a set of headphones

that I actually use on Amazon they're

only 10 bucks they're awesome headphones

but you can see right up here I can get

a link okay this is because I am an

affiliate of Amazon now I go here and I

click get link and you can see right

here it's going to give me this really

unique link right here okay now this is

a link to this product right here you

can see if I copy that link and I paste

it right here that is a link to that

product now what's special about that

particular link is that that link is

unique to me there is no one else in the

world that has that link but me which

means that if someone clicks on that

link right there and they head over to

this product page and they make a

purchase anywhere in the next 24 hours

they're going to say Spencer sent us a

customer that gave us money we're going

to give Spencer a portion of that money

now with Amazon that's a pretty low

portion and particularly on this $9

product that's an extremely low amount

of money but different programs give

different amounts of money so on Amazon

I believe this would get me about 4% of

$10 which would land me at about 40 but

there are plenty of other products out

there that get you all the way up into

the 40 or 50% range meaning you get half

of whatever the customer spends with

that particular company now even better

than that there are companies that will

give you half of everything that

customer ever spends with that

particular company now this is

particularly true in softwares digital

courses products like that and every

single time that person went to Amazon

from then on and purchased something I

would get a portion of what they spent

now take that a step further and let's

say over a period of 2 3 4 5 years I

sent hundreds or even thousands of

people to Amazon you can start to see

how lucrative affiliate marketing can be

and there are Affiliates that make wild

amounts of money because they start to

stack up like this and they start to

build up this ecosystem and referral

system where they have hundreds of

referrals coming in every day and

they're making money from a lot of their

previous referrals as well now we're

going to pause briefly and say that this

is not an MLM this is not a pyramid

scheme and a lot of people like to come

in and call this a scam because this

sounds somewhat similar to that but it's

a very basic model essentially the

company says we spend 5% of our budget

or 10% of our budget every single year

on marketing trying to bring new

customers in so if you'll bring a new

customer in then we don't have to spend

that budget we'll pay it to you now I'm

not going to go into too many details of

behind the scenes but I do think there's

a few important things let's talk about

what happens when this link gets clicked

it's actually going to put what's called

a little cookie on that user's browser

and say hey the next time this person

goes to Amazon remember they came from

me and even that person clicks and goes

over to that page and then gets

distracted or decides not to buy or you

know Waits 15 days before the purchase I

can still get paid a commission for

sending them and every company does this

a little differently but but some

companies will do up to a year or 90

days so now you understand what it is

let's talk about your first steps day

doing step one is always going to be

choosing a niche and that sounds cliche

but essentially a niche is a category

okay you've got to have something or a

specific group of people that you're

going to be trying to sell products to

ideally you want this group of people to

have a very similar interest or a very

similar desire or a very similar problem

that they're all trying to solve now a

lot of people talk about money talking

about relationships or talking about

health now I somewhat agree with those

but I wouldn't say you need to stick

with those if there's not something that

you're deeply passionate about there is

going to be nothing more important to

you being able to succeed with affiliate

marketing than you picking a category or

a niche that you like that you can talk

about all day that you love reading

books about that you love watching

movies about that you just have a

passion for I can promise you you will

burn out eventually if you choose

something for the money and not because

it's something you genuinely enjoy so my

advice is always to pick kind of a a

niche and then go deeper on that Niche

and what I mean by that is you might say

I love sports I would go a little deeper

in the beginning I wouldn't say it's a

sports channel meaning I'm going to talk

about Golf and I'm going to talk about

soccer and pickle ball I would pick one

in the beginning I'm going to be a

soccer channel right that means I went a

little deeper into a very specific sport

but then second try to take a unique

angle and one of the best examples of

this is his name is Andre Sheik and he's

got a YouTube channel we'll show you a

little bit in the background here of

what he does but he went into the

finance Niche and that's a broad and a

complicated Niche and so he decided to

take a unique angle where he kind of

combined magic with it meaning he he

tries to show little magic tricks and

magic shows and things like that

throughout his videos to take just a

slightly unique approach and an

enjoyable approach to the subject of

Finance now other people do this with

with the way that they approach things

I've always tried to make my unique

angle in the in the make money online

space a more honest approach and a less

hyped up approach to some of these side

hustles and things like that now a lot

of people are going to tell you no you

have to choose a niche that makes money

right the money space or the finance

space or health and I'm going to

disagree pretty hard with that there are

people making money in all kinds of

spaces it's much more important that you

enjoy it than that you pick a specific

Niche that you can make money in I can

tell you this as long as you pick a

niche where people spend money that you

are passionate about you'll do much

better off down the road now let's move

two choosing your affiliate programs

that you want to promote like I said in

the beginning you can make money in

virtually anything but there are certain

aspects of each Niche where there's more

money to be made I tend to focus most of

my efforts on digital products and that

can be software that can be courses

anything like that where there's a lot

bigger margins and what I mean by that

is if someone spends $100 on a digital

product most of their cost typically is

going into marketing and sales it's it's

very very cheap for them to provide a

digital product especially a course

right I used to sell a course a digital

course and the course was

$997 and there was almost no cost for me

to add more people to my course so I was

able to pay Affiliates a lot more I was

able to pay them 50% but if you contrast

that with this Amazon product that we

were just looking at it's significantly

more in terms of expenses that they have

right they have to create the product

ship the product pay Amazon their

percentage their expenses are so high

they can only afford to pay the

affiliate a very small percentage so in

your space if you can find digital

products to promote you'll have to sell

a lot less now you might think that that

doesn't make sense I would First Look

for softwares if you're in any kind of

space where there's softwares that can

help that's where I would start beyond

that I would look for digital courses

and training and a lot of people think

well there probably isn't any courses or

training and I'm here to tell you that

simply not the case virtually every

space out there has people that are

getting into that you know in the

beginning whether it's karate or cooking

any of these things there are new people

getting into it and they want to

accelerate their learning and they're

willing to pay an expert to do that so

one of the best ways to find products

that you want to promote is just to head

to Google and let's say that I want to

be in the cooking space the chef space

and I can go really specific and even

say tie food but all I'm going to do is

go to Google and type in Tha cooking

course and you can see I'm going to get

a couple of different sponsored posts

these are people actually spending money

now I can click into these I can already

tell you this one right here they have

an affiliate program you can sign up and

you can become an affiliate for these

online courses similarly right here I

would bet that if I went down and

clicked on that link it takes me to this

page right here and all I'm going to do

is scroll real quick to the bottom and

there you can see it collaborate it's

got affiliate program I can tell you

right now most companies have an

affiliate program it's an easy way for

them to get more leads more customers

it's a risk-free way for them to get

so all you've got to do is sign up for

that affiliate program now I would add

that depending on the program you're

signing up for you may find that some of

them require you to have some kind of

traction already meaning they don't want

to deal with you unless you've already

put out some videos maybe you got a few

people to follow you things like that

they want to see some proof that you're

actually going to do anything before

they let you sign up for their program

now there are some programs that aren't

like that and they'll let anybody sign

up but just be aware that that might

happen and you'll just start with the

ones that don't require that and as you

start to build up this proof that hey I

can actually have an impact on your

business you'll find that they become a

lot more open to you signing up for

their program some of these more stingy

ones and I'm looking over the page here

and I would bet that you can sign up and

you can be in their affiliate program

within a day or two without any issues

even if you're brand new for the one I'm

looking at you can see free to join

commission 6% of a sale cookie window 45

days meaning they have to purchase

sometime in 45 days after clicking your

link this one as I look at it wouldn't

be one that I would promote I don't

think 6% of a sale is a fair amount for

a digal course we clearly said at the

beginning of this video you need to pick

a niche that you're passionate about

that you're spending your time in now if

you've done that it's highly likely that

you've purchased a significant number of

products yourself in that space so the

second thing you're going to do is

you're going to look around where have I

spent my money have I paid anyone to

teach me have I paid any guides to take

me fishing have I purchased physical

products especially some expensive ones

I know in the in the fishing space

people spend a lot of money find those

products that you're already enjoying

because I promise you when you start

promoting them or telling people to buy

those products you will sound much more

real you'll sound much more genuine and

you'll just be much more genuine if you

can say I bought this I'm holding it I

love it I use it every weekend it's my

favorite thing in the world why have you

not bought one how much more genuine is

that than hey you should check out this

haven't bought one myself but I hear

it's great now that we've chosen a niche

we found affiliate programs we've signed

up for them step four is a little bit

harder and a little bit more ongoing and

this is where you start to get into the

nitty and the gritty of affiliate marketing

what we're going to be doing here is

identifying the core desire of our

audience we need to be able to focus the

products that we Market to and the way

we talk to people because we're going to

be sending emails you're going to be

putting out some content online you need

to understand what it is that the people

that you're going to be selling products

to essentially what it is that they

really really want the problem they want

solve the desire the end game for them

you're going to build landing pages

you're going to send emails you're going

to create content maybe Facebook post

Maybe YouTube whatever you decide all of

it needs to speak to what the real

is now we're going to take a brief

moment and help everyone understand what

the big picture is here once we've

chosen this how are we going to be

making money how does this all play out

so we're going to use this and we're

going to draw diagrams and kind of help

you get a good idea of what's Happening

here so now that we've chosen a niche

we're going to have to create content

now this really isn't option I I know

very few successful Affiliates who do

not create content and all content is is

it's putting stuff out there on social

media we're talking about Facebook

Instagram Tik Tok YouTube you decide but

we're going to label those with circles

okay and you can do all or none I would

recommend in the beginning just picking

one so let's say that's YouTube That's

Instagram that's Facebook that's Tik Tok

okay we're going to pick all or one of

these and that's the channel That We're

going to use now we're going to get

people to watch our videos okay we're

going to put out videos that attract our

ideal audience right if we are we

decided to pick the fishing space we're

going to put out fishing videos and

we'll talk a little bit and we're

actually going to talk a lot about how

this all plays out but just imagine

we're putting out all these videos let's

say we choose Tik Tok okay we kind of

Point all these let's say we choose Tik

Tok and we start putting out all these

fun fishing videos on Tik Tok and so all

the the people interested in fishing

right eventually start to to watch we

start to grow an audience or we get one

video even that just blows up right a,

million people watch this video about

something about fishing now what happens

is we need to capitalize on that and so

what we do is we actually put a link you

can put links with videos in every

single one of these platforms and we're

going to put a link and that's going to

take them to what's called a landing

page and we'll show you one of those on

the screen real quick but essentially

this is where they're going to go after

they click the link and there's one

purpose for this landing page one single

purpose okay and that is to capture

their email address

okay so my handwriting is terrible but I

think it's still legible we send them

there and it's just a simple page I

would bet that almost everyone watching

this video has been through this exact

process where you were watching

something on YouTube you clicked on

something on Facebook and it took you to

a page and the very first thing they did

is try to capture your email address and

the way they do that is they make a

little bit of an offer right so in the

fishing space it might be my top 10 lurs

for for fly fishing just something

that's easy for you to just email over

to them but it gets a lot lot of people

interested and they go and put in that

email address right there in the form

now once we've captured their email the

the reason this is so so so important is

that their email address is now ours

okay even if we manag to build an

audience on YouTube for example right

now I'm putting out a video on YouTube

and I'm hoping you'll click subscribe in

fact now might be a great time for you

to pause and click subscribe real quick

if you like really in-depth videos like

this I'm going to build up subscribers

on YouTube the problem is I don't really

have guaranteed access to even if you

subscribe right now if I put out another

video it might show up on your YouTube

feed you know maybe if I'm lucky it'll

show up on your YouTube feed it might

not so when you're building up audiences

and putting out content on these

platforms you don't own them Tik Tok

owns it Facebook owns it and they can do

whatever they want and you do not want

your income reliant on Mark Zuckerberg

trust me but as soon as you capture

their email you now have the right to

email them to sell them other products

forever until they click unsubscribed

and the beauty here is once your list

gets into the thousands or the tens of

thousands you can almost think of it

like a printer that prints money you go

and you find a good product that you

know your audience will like certain

portion of those email addresses are

going to read your email they're going

to go they're going to click the link

and they're going to make that purchase

so once we capture their email we've

done the most important thing as an

affiliate marketer but there's no reason

to stop right there right they put in

their email address now we're going to

send them somewhere they they've clicked

enter right you've promised them

something small for free some little

easy thing that will help them achieve

their desire for free now you're going

to send them to what's called a I'm have

to make this a little smaller a bridge

page now this is where you're going to

sell your first or what I like to call

your core product your most exciting

product the product that can bring you

the most commissions right you're going

to say okay I made a Tik Tok video about

fishing you loved it I said if you want

access to my five best pointers to help

new fishermen become experts overnight

go ahead and click that link they put in

their email address because they really

wanted that those five pointers right

and maybe it was a video maybe it was a

doc and doesn't have to be complicated

they put in that email they click the

button and submitted and now what do

they need to do well now you tell them

you take them to the to what your core

product is and this is called a bridge

page okay I'm trying to decide if I

should draw a bridge or write it and I'm

going to write it cuz I can't draw

either okay and what a bridge page is

it's you introducing that product so if

you're promoting a fly rod or you're

promoting maybe there's a really cool

like what I would probably do in this

situation is find a fishing guide that

maybe a couple different ones kind of

spread out around the country that I

live in or something and they take

people that are new to fishing on

incredible trips and teach them how to

fish and make it this great experience

right and let's say it's $2,000 for you

to to go on that it's a great product to

promote and you introduce that so we

bridge over and then we take that

affiliate link remember we talked

earlier you have a unique link and we're

going to put it right there for them to

click on now all we're going to do we're

going to send them up here we're going

to start emailing them and I do need to

add we're going to show you or I'm going

to show you the very spefic specific

exactly how to build all these things

we're talking about I'm going to show

you on the screen in about 5 minutes

here you can follow along it's going to

be a free software it's not going to

take a lot of time because we use

templates it's going to be much easier

than you probably assume if you're new

to building stuff online anyway once we

have that bridge page we start sending

them emails we're going to call these

circles emails okay one at a time this

first email continues to talk to them

probably about that product so we're

going to promote maybe that same product

for a few emails tell them a few

different things about it tell them you

know tell them your experience with it

tell them other people's experience with

it tell them how it will solve their

problem achieve their desire stuff like

that then we can move on and we can send

other emails and the beauty of this is

it can be automated we can set this all

up so that you set it up one single time

and you'll never have to do it again

they automatically go through this they

automatically get the first email and

these emails and then they automatically

get future emails that sell them some of

the other products and the beauty of

this once we've set up this whole system

right this is probably the system side

right here I'll draw a line right here

we'll call this the system and this the

content once we've set up this system

you can focus on content the stuff you

enjoy talking about fishing going

fishing and videoing it doing stuff like

that you just have to sit there and

focus on this and tell people to go here

and this will do all the selling it will

make you the money all of that will

happen automatically on the back end you

can focus on the fun stuff which is just

doing what you like and talking about

what you like so now let's actually

start by creating that system and again

I mentioned it before you do not need to

be a tech skill genius you can follow

along and you'll be able to do exactly

what I'm talking about as we go so let's

start with creating that lead magnet and

a lead magnet is what we talked about

what we're going to give in exchange for

an email address now there's five that

have worked well for me over time these

are five that are easy to create they're

easy to deliver they don't cost you

money all great things as a brand new

affiliate the first one is a club so if

you look down below I've actually got a

link it's called the side Hustlers Club

and essentially all it is is whenever I

find a good way to make money online I

email it out to people and I tell them

about it and I let them know that I've

found something new that's it it's

called the side Hustlers Club it's very

very easy as you can imagine now you can

go a little further and make a little

Facebook group or Whatsapp chat where

people can kind of get together and

discuss I make might make some kind of

Club focused around one specific time of

fishing something like that say

something like we'll bring on someone

once every couple months we'll release

new content every couple months that's

exclusive however you want to go about

it make a little simple online Club you

don't have to do anything up front for

this to work option two is you could do

a stepbystep guide so if it's fishing

you could do a step-by-step guide on how

to get started fly fishing you could do

a step-by-step guide on how to set up a

reel how to tie your first or create

your first fly there's a lot of

different directions you can go but it

all depends on the research you did

earlier and the decision you made on

what the core desire is of the people or

the core problem of these new people so

if you go the step-by-step route doesn't

need to be complicated you open up

docs.google.com and you're going to

create and type up a simple step-by-step

guide and then all I've got to do once

I've created some form of League magnet

is head over to here to share I can

change this to restricted copy my link

and that's what I can send out now you

can complicate it more if you'd like to

download it and then have other people

upload it I usually just do share links

and I've noticed that people are totally

happy with those share links option

three is some kind of checklist and this

is actually done really well for me it

could be a fishing checklist hey if you

want to know everything you need the

first time you go out fishing what do

you need to start fly fishing here's a

total checklist checklist is a great

option and here is why let's say I

decide to send a checklist with 15 items

this is everything you need to go out

fishing for your first time fly fishing

you know what not to forget they head

over to this checklist and we've got all

these different items here right these

are items that they're probably going to

need to purchase which means I can link

to them which is helpful to them and I

can use my affiliate link which As We

Now understand is helpful to me so a

checklist is kind of a double win where

we're able to put links in our lead

magnet and anybody that actually goes

and follows our lead magnet will end up

making us some money and the last one

that I've seen do well is sending

someone a small course hey here's a mini

course is probably the best way to put

it on fly fishing you know it's 1 hour

10 videos and it's just going to show

you how to tie that first fly get your

Rod set up how to find you know when to

go fishing a few things like that and

we're going to send you that little mini

course now again we'll talk a little bit

about it doesn't need to be complicated

this can be you filming with your phone

just like this uploading it to YouTube

for free and then sending them six links

to the YouTube video so that they can

get started now's where the techy side

comes and I want to say it again don't

stress if you're not a tech genius all

we've got to do is create that little

system for delivering the lead magnet

and creating the bridge page for selling

our first product now I will leave a

link down below to this and it's totally

free to use this product as of right now

it's called system.io it's a software

that'll do all of this for you now they

have paid plans and you can upgrade as

you grow to paid plans but everything

you need to start day one should be

available in these totally free plans so

you're going to go through a whole sign

up process and get an account with

system.io and you're going to end up

looking in something that looks just

like this so we're going to head over

here to funnels right here and you can

see we've got a bunch of different ones

in my account you won't have any you're

just going to click create now the goal

of our particular funnel here is to

build an audience right we want to

collect email addresses and build our

email list it's exactly what we're

looking for right here so I'm going to

click on build an audience I'm going to

name it fishing since we're running with

the fishing Niche right now you are just

going to go with whatever name picked

it's going to give you a domain right so

that's kind of your website you can buy

your own we're not going to talk about

in this video you're fine to start with

your free one right there so we'll just

click save right here and we now have

this fishing funnel so I'm going to

click into that fishing funnel and it's

got two options right here a squeeze

page and a thank you page so these are

all the pages in our funnel think of a

funnel as a stepbystep journey that

someone goes through on your website

right they go first to the page where we

get an email they go next to the page

where we sell them our first product

that's their Journey it's a simple

funnel so a squeeze page which is where

we get their email and a thank you page

which is where we offer them the bridge

product now here's the beauty here it's

already got templates so like I talked

about you don't need to over complicate

this everything is here you just need to

pick one that you like and you can run

exactly with it and just change a few

bits of text or you can change things

out depending on what you want I would

go down to here and click 30 so that

you'll get all the different templates

that they have you can see there's tons

of different ones you pick what you want

but my one bit of advice would be to

pick something simple this this is

probably the one I'm going to pick

because it's just a simple email address

so I'm going to click select right here

we're going to call it our squeeze page

it's going to give you uh this and I

would probably say something like like

lead Magnet or whatever you want you're

going to call the page something right

there this is essentially where people

are going to click to get there and now

we're going to go in and start editing

that page now step one they're always

going to over complicate it we don't

want a complicated squeeze page we don't

want places to lose people and for

people to kind of explore and go click

on other things we have one goal here

it's get that email address as soon as

possible so I'm going to go up here I'm

going to hover over this top section you

can see they've kind of built the whole

thing in sections I'm going to hover

over this top one the sections are green

and I'm going to remove any kind of menu

or header that might come with it Okay

click trash and now you can see right

there it's just that main page and then

they put in a bunch beneath that so I'm

going to go real quick I'm going to

remove all these sections except for the

section where I capture an email address

so I'm going to hover over this one and

I'll do it to all the sections I'll just

click that trash can and delete

everything but that main section all

right so now this is what we're looking

at first off I understand this is not

ideal for fishing but the template is

there right we've got a basic outline of

what we want it to look like this nice

little square an email address put in

and then some pictures so now we just

have to tweak the template now you have

to understand how all these softwares

work they run in sections which are

basically going from left to right so

anything that goes all the way from left

to right is a section and you can see

this background here this tan background

that goes all the way from the Left End

of the screen to the right hand of

screen right it goes all the way and so

that is a section now within that

section we've got rows you can see

they've broken into rows a row and a row

and then within those rows is where we

put items so text is an item email

address capture that's an item a button

there's an item these are pictures those

are items so all we've got to do now is

we're going to go edit our items right

we're going to say oh I don't want this

picture I want a picture of fishing I

don't want this text I want a text of

fishing so step one for me is I'm going

to change this background I don't want

pictures of people at weddings I want

pictures of people fishing maybe you

have a picture maybe you don't if you

don't ever have pict pictures that you

need to use for stuff like this we're

just going to head over to pixels.com

and you can get totally free pictures

that you can use I am pretty sure when I

type in fishing we're going to get

plenty of great fishing pictures and we

totally did so we're going to click on

this one right here and we're just going

to click on free download now the

picture is on my desktop and I can head

back to this page right here and we're

going to change the background of the

section okay so if you see here you can

change you can edit sections you can

edit rows or you can edit indiv

individual things we're going to edit

the entire section here first you can

kind of see all the different options

here to edit the section we're not going

to mess with too many of them cuz we

already have a good template all I want

to mess with is the background image of

that section so I'm going to click X and

you can see it is now gone and instead

I'm going to click upload I'm going to

select a file and I'm going to take that

awesome fishing picture that I just put

in that I just found it'll take you here

to all the different images in your

account we'll click on the one we want

and we'll click on insert and you can

see now now we're getting somewhere this

does look much more like a fishing page

now we just need to change the text and

we need to change this little background

image right here to maybe a little

fishing logo or something like that if

you're not aware this picture is called

a PNG meaning it doesn't have a

background it's a little picture of a

leaf but there is no background to the

picture so it'll just assume the

background of whatever's behind it so

once again I'm going to head to Google

I'm going to type in fishing PNG and you

can see there's a million little PNG

files that I can use to put right there

now you'll want to make sure that you

have the rights that it's a free image

so when when you search you'll want to

make sure it's not someone else's image

that you're stealing but once you find

one you'll just click and you'll

download the image using a right click

on your computer and then I'm going to

edit this uh particular piece right here

I'm going to click image file I'm going

to exit I'm going to upload my own image

file which is a nice little fish and

we'll be good to go and I'm going to go

in here and say free first time fishing

guide for noobs don't have to do it that

way that's how we're going to run with

it and you can see that now we have a

pretty good looking template now I

actually forgot we got to tweak the

button here I can just click on that

button and you can see right here I can

edit anything that I want on the button

including that text that says book my

consultation and what do we have we've

got a pretty good looking template and

that took me all of 5 minutes and I've

got this little page that we can now run

with to capture people's email addresses

I can click this little eyeball up here

and it'll take me to what the page looks

like and that is a pretty goodlooking

page so all we're going to do is click

save changes we're going to click this

little Arrow to get us back out to that

main page right here and now we're going

to edit the bridge page what do we do

once we've captured their email address

what do we do once they put it in right

here well we want to sell them our first

product we gave them our free product

that was an exchange for the email now

we're going to promote something to them

that the product that we really think

can benefit them and can benefit us as

well if they end up purchasing so we're

going to go to this funnel and we're

going to go to the thank you page now

once again look we've got all these

thank you pages I talked about how I

prefer one with a window with a video

sorry you don't have to do a video you

can do this in text but I much prefer a

simple video with a button that says you

know new to fishing try this so I'm

going to click on this and see if

there's any of these that have a video I

know there used to be but I'm not seeing

there's one right there that could work

I just want a video with a button

beneath it that's typically how I like

to run so I scrolled a little bit and

I'm going to choose just this simple

template right here for our thank you

page and we're going to do the exact

same thing that we just did with the

thank you page I'm going to take this

I'm going to type in think I'm going to

type in you and then I'm going to go and

edit that page now here's the page and

all I'm going to have to do is an add an

button element you can see it says thank

you you can see it's got the video I am

going to have to film this video upload

it to YouTube and then all I need to do

is go to my video element once I've

filmed my video putting on YouTube I'm

going to go to my video element right

here I'm going to click settings to

change it and I'm going to put my

YouTube video link this is my video of

me offering this new product then I'm

going to take out this text at the

bottom right here I'm going to delete

that text element and instead we're

going to add a button element so I'm

going to go over to here and you can see

it's got elements and I'm going to

scroll down and there is a button

element right there all I need to do is

click and I can do whatever adjustments

I want okay I can make it fill so it's

long I usually kind of go like that I

can change colors all the things that I

could ever want to change I can do right

here now what I do want to change the

most important thing is I want it to go

somewhere I want it to open a URL when

someone clicks that button it says where

that's my affiliate link I want them to

go after they watch my video where I

describe this awesome product I want

them to go click my affiliate link and I

want them to go purchase so let's just

pretend it's amazon.com

that's the link and now we can click or

edit as much as we want but I think

we're good with that and we're going to

click save changes okay now this is the

beautiful thing I can go to my squeeze

page right here I can view the funnel

step and you can see once I put in my

email address right here I click Send

now it's going to send that take them

straight to this page some of them are

going to watch the video and they'll

click that affiliate link and we now

have two things someone whose email

address we own that we can send them

emails and sell to them for the

foreseeable future and somebody just

clicked our affiliate link and

potentially is going to go make a

purchase and we're going to get a

commission and the next step is kind of

the funner step where we're actually

going to pick a business name and a

that and we need this if we're going to

be sending emails if we're going to have

any kind of brand right we need to have

something front-facing that people can

know us by and so this is going to be

the one thing that cost money you're

going to need this if you start

affiliate marketing it's very very cost

effective a couple bucks a month is all

you're going to need and then maybe 10

15 bucks to by the actual domain so

we're going to go to godaddy.com I'll

leave a link down below to GoDaddy and

what we're going to do is we're going to

figure out what website name we want for

example this is godaddy.com a lot of

people pick their name Spencer mom.com I

used build apru.com for mine you'll find

it's pretty hard to get easy domains now

and so you might have to get a little

bit creative but you're going to go to

godaddy.com and you're going to start

testing domains so we could do affiliate

marketing test site.com now you'll see

it's going to give you a ton of

different options that you can see right

here different pricing it's going to

have different promotions they have tons

of promotions always running so you're

going to find one that makes sense to

you financially and that makes sense to

you with the brand that you want to

create I might Al also go fishing here

right the guy fes.com might be something

that I continue to decide to run with

because it makes more sense so we're

going to click once we find one we like

I'm going to click make it yours it's

going to give you a deal for 3 years if

you're sure you're in this for the next

3 years the Long Haul go for it I'm

personally would be careful if it's your

first time and maybe just get a year and

pay a little bit more to just pay for

the one year I'm going to say no thanks

to all the upsells they're going to

upsell you many many times none of them

are that important all right so I went

through the whole process of creating an

account I'm saying no to 10 different

downsells and then I selected one year

at the end and you can see it's now the

guy who fes.com I've got it for a year

and it's going to cost me a total of $12

which is a fair amount for a domain so

then you can pay however you want and

you are now the owner of this domain you

get to choose what happens you get to

send emails from here everything like

that it's yours next we're going to have

to get an email address so you want

typically your name uh maybe support I

would email from your name at this new

email address that we just created so

for example I will want to be Spencer

atth guyou fes.com now in our GoDaddy

account uh they've made it much simpler

it's going to look something like this

we're going to click on email right here

and this is going to cost again $1.99 a

month not a crazy amount every month for

us to have access to an email address

that we own so in that email section

we're going to click buy now you can see

it's $1.99 per user per month and then

we're going to click select right here

now to get that price and I would just

recommend doing this for one year your

total expenses will will keep under 50

bucks here but you're going to want to

have this email address for for at least

a year I would do it for a year give

this a year don't don't give up after a

month commit by putting a little bit of

money into a year here and showing that

you're committed you'll select that 12

months there and you'll click complete

purchase now full disclosure it might

take 10 minutes up to an hour or two for

that user to show up I just found that

out myself actually I had to spend some

time with h GoDaddy support which is

never fun but eventually it'll show up

one account available and we can now

create our new email user so I would

always say choose your name I wouldn't

create create a support account you

could do a separate one but I would

always choose your name this is my

pretend web name right here and you'll

just let everything else stay the same

right here and you'll be good to go now

we're going to head back to our

system.io account and we're going to

connect it so it's going to get access

to this new email address that we've

created in GoDaddy so in your system.io

account we'll go to the top here your

account and we'll go to settings we'll

head down to email and you can see right

here we can add this new domain that we

just purchased or this new URL now

you're not going to put www. or anything

like that you're just going to put the

email address that you just created

which for me is the guy fishes. comom

then we'll click save like that right

there now we need to authenticate

essentially they're not just going to

trust us right oh okay I'm sure that's

yours we'll go ahead and let you send

emails from there so you're going to

click this eyeball right here and that's

going to get you a bunch of crazy

information you'll never have to deal

with again so this is all a onetime

thing and I'll be honest and say this is

weak for me because I've only done it a

few times as well so essentially what

it's telling us is hey you need to go

give us access and the way you're going

to do that is you're going to give all

this information right here to go daddy

so we're going to keep that page up

we're going to head over here to go

Daddy and we're going to click on domain

CU we're going to be doing some stuff

with our domain and we're going to click

on manage DNS okay and this is where we

enter information that gives access to

our site uh we won't go into too much

detail but you can see some of this

stuff might look familiar kind of like

what we just looked at we're going to

click on add new record and you can see

it's going to give it four different

squares right there we're going to go

back to system. you can see we've got

three C names to add with this

information and then one txt file so

when I go to here you can see C name is

a file type it says okay what's the name

we're going to take the name directly

from here sounds complicated but it's

really just copying and pasting and

we're also going to take the value

directly from there now on this one

we're actually going to have to remove a

little bit it already knows that domain

right so we're going to remove that

right there and the name is just that

first part everything before the period

then we're going to click save right

there and once we've added or copied and

pasted all this stuff over not having to

know exactly what's going on don't worry

very few people actually understand all

of this stuff we'll click update DNS

records and it'll take a few minutes but

it'll Now update and now anything we can

do in system.io will be verified we can

send emails we can get emails received

there's a lot more we can do now because

system.io has been approved by GoDaddy

as you know someone that owns that

domain now full disclosure this process

could take 24 to 48 hours especially if

you have a new domain so be prepared to

spend a day chilling researching doing

something else while you wait for this

process to finish and then you can come

back to the video now once it's done the

way you'll know is when you go to your

email section in your system.io account

you will see verified as the status for

your domain now all we've got to do is

verify that we own the actual email

address not just the domain so we'll

scroll down right here where it says

verified email addresses you'll click

here you're going to put in your email

address and what it's actually going to

do is send you an email to verify that

you own that actual email address once

you send thata or click in that email it

will show verified just like this right

here and now you have verified the

system that I owe that you own the

domain you own the email address it can

send emails that can land in inboxes

from that email address so the way your

email inbox will now work is it is

running through Microsoft I will be

honest I hate that it runs through

Microsoft don't like it at all but

that's live so you'll get an email that

looks like this from Microsoft 365

you'll create a new password and now

you'll be able to log into your inbox

anytime you want using Microsoft so

system. will send out all these emails

your inbox if you ever want to check and

respond and get emails to this email

inbox will be done through Microsoft 365

through that verified email that you get

automation we talked about the beauty of

this this is where the money is being

made passively we're going to go to

emails up here we're going to go to

campaigns and we're going to click

create now if you did everything right

your email address will show up right

here and you'll be able to name it the

guy who fishes main or whatever it is

that you want we'll click save it will

create this email campaign right here

and can now click into here and start

adding the emails to this campaign and

essentially what we're going to be doing

is telling it every day for the first

few days to send an email and then maybe

we'll space it out for a few days after

that from my personal experience most

people don't like to get an email every

single day from anybody so we'll do it

for the first few days while they're

getting warmed up to us and then we'll

make it kind of a sporadic thing every 3

four 5 days where they kind of don't

expect an email from you necessarily and

it's a little bit of a surprise so we'll

click create right here this is where we

uh shouldn't rush so a subject line of

an email is extremely important

important it's the only thing that gets

that email opened if your email never

gets opened doesn't matter how good your

email is doesn't matter how many

affiliate links it has none of that

matters because you didn't convince them

to open the email so here's the order of

the emails that we're going to be

sending out our first email is delivery

and introduction and what I mean by that

is we've already promised them a lead

magnet we need to make sure that shows

up right away in that very first email

then we're going to introduce ourselves

this is who I am I would throw in a

picture of you if you're willing to do

that you will always help if they can

put a picture to a face and then the

last part of that first email is letting

them know that you are going to be

sending them more emails by the way I've

been into fishing for 20 years I wasn't

always into fishing and in fact it was

pretty hard when I first got into

fishing I have the passion for fishing I

want to help other people learn to fish

whatever it is you let them know I I

want to help you and I love this and so

I'm going to send you some more emails

over the next few days and over the next

few months just ahe heads up the reason

for these emails is to help you learn so

that you can be where I'm at someday now

email number two is you establishing a

purpose and a connection with them okay

people don't buy from people that they

don't connect with they won't click

links they won't buy things they won't

trust people so this is where we kind of

start back and we help them understand

what got you into this okay what was

your motivations and your reasons for

this so in my space I I write a lot of

emails about making money right I teach

people how to make money online

typically like this video I talk about

my experience uh getting out of college

and and struggling and having my first

kid and realizing how hard that was and

and realizing that I would wouldn't be

able to provide everything I wanted if

things stayed you know if the status quo

remained these are things that that help

you establish Rapport and help you

connect with people they start to to be

realize that you are very similar to

them and they start to trust you which

means when you refer good products to

them they're more likely to make a

purchase so you'll take them in this

email through your journey okay your

journey of discovering this this

whatever it is in this case fishing you

know I was so miserable this 9o5 job I'd

come home I'd watch TV I hated it you

know I just felt miserable every day and

then I discovered fishing every

everything changed whenever I go out in

the mountains everything just feels

completely different I feel at peace I

feel at one I know whatever it is you

kind of work them through that and then

you talk through especially the hard

Parts I decided I was going to start

fishing I went out there and I caught

nothing and in fact I went out there 40

times I caught nothing couldn't figure

it out didn't know what I was doing you

talk them through these hardships that

they'll probably connect with and then

you say but that's not where I'm at now

right I'm I'm much past that now I've

I've gone beyond that my next email I'm

going to kind of talk about about that

okay so we're setting up our next email

and that brings us to Emil 3 where you

where you can start recommending

products where you say hey it was tough

it was tough I'm in a much better place

now here's one of the reasons I'm using

this software I took this course I let

this guy take me out fishing this will

be the first time you include affiliate

Link in an email next you're going to

send three more emails that are all

targeting that same exact affiliate

product okay you've introduced it you've

introduced the why of it in the first

one a lot of people still won't be sold

and in fact a lot of people need a lot

of touches and connections and they need

to be told about something quite a few

times before they finally commit so your

next email will talk about features

you'll talk about the different things

that this can do hey it can do this you

know maybe this is your problem maybe

this is your problem these are all

different features that this can do for

you your next email email number five is

where I would start targeting

testimonials I'm going to start sending

them other people that have used this

product effectively to solve their

problems your word wasn't enough for

them that's okay there are plenty of

other people and you can find

testimonials on almost any product in

the world fishing guide or a software

there are testimonials that you can use

that you can borrow from their website

and say hey it worked for this guy

worked for this guy worked for this guy

I really think this can work for you

honestly it worked for me and then I

would send one final email that just

says Hey I've talked about this a few

times I wonder if you have any questions

some of the best sales I've got and some

of the best experiences I've had have

been actually interacting with people

can this do this cuz I did this once and

it didn't work and I've used a bunch of

these kinds of products and I'll even

offer sometimes to help meaning hey I'm

going to make a little bit of money when

you click this link and when you buy I'm

happy to reciprocate and help you out a

little bit in the in the setup process

or something along those lines so let's

dive into the logistics of this we've

got our emails we know at least our

first six emails after that kind of the

the sky is the limit right we can send

them emails about more products we can

send them emails about that same product

we can send them emails about us and who

we are while we wait for a good product

to come my one big pointer would be to

send an email about every week if you

let your list and these people go cold

where they forget who you are it will be

very hard to get them going again and

make them get a purchase from from you

so back to where we actually show you

what we're going to be doing here we're

going to pick a subject line subject

lines are hooks they've got to say

something that leaves people curious

what's in the email so for me it's

curiosity and it's desire we're going to

make say something that makes them say

what like I have to know what's in that

email because we ask a question or we

introduce an idea but don't finish it or

we target a desire now a good curiosity

one might be are you coming today

question mark right does that you see

how somebody might say coming to what

what what am I coming to and then they

click in and you maybe you're having a

live training you're promot some kind of

live training that would be a great

place for that and they're like am I

coming today what and they click in oh

and then they read your email and then

they go through the process of signing

up now we're just going to go with our

first one which is here is your free

item okay we're going to click my name

right here Spencer meum it's already got

the email address we're going to run at

the classic editor and we're going to

click save now from here on it's a very

simple email you can see right here

nothing spectacular nothing crazy you

going to write up the email right here

now there are a few pointers I have the

first one is make very very effective

use of Whit space I want you to picture

an email inbox you click in someone sent

you an email you click into it and it

looks like I'm sorry this is a blurry

image it looks like this image on the

left right here just words going from

Line to Line to Line to Line I would bet

that you're going to be overwhelmed

right off the bat like what is going on

here you don't really know you don't

really have any reason necessarily to

read the email you're gone right so a

little better would be moving over to

this image and you can see it's spaced

out a little okay it's a little easier

on your eyes there's there's not as much

overwhelm when it's spaced out like that

so maybe you will sit and read it even

better it's broken into chunks you can

see option three right here piece by

piece by piece I usually do single

sentence paragraphs because when someone

is looking at the entire thing from

their phone you don't want them to ever

feel overwhelmed you want it to be

simple to read easy to digest easy to

follow and easy visually for their eyes

to see so a good example opening email

here you can see I say here's the free

item you were promised I sincerely hope

it helps you get started fishing and

then I start to talk about myself I've

been fishing for 20 years and honestly

it never gets old and by the way I'm not

a huge fisherman so this is not true I

live in Utah where I have access to some

of the best fly fishing rivers on the

planet so I tend to focus on flies but I

love it all I've been teaching my four

kids to fish there's honestly no better

feeling and then I just you know talk a

little bit more about myself and then

give them a heads up there's some more

emails coming and the purpose of the

emails is to help them once you have

your first email we'll just click save

and publish right here and it's going to

ask you when to send it okay now it can

send a certain number of days after your

last email this is our first email so

we'll say zero days before sending

there's no other emails in there because

this is our first one I typically try to

send it at 11:00 a.m. okay assuming that

most people are in your time zone if

your audience is just constantly

worldwide then it this doesn't help a

ton but I try to send 11:00 a.m. local

time just because for me at least where

a lot of my audiences in America that

tends to kind of hit everybody at a good

reasonable time so I would choose that

right there and then I never send emails

on weekends because it tends to have a

lower open rate and making money with

email is all about the open rate so

we'll say all that stuff now the only

difference on your next emails is you're

going to say delay one day after each so

our first one we send right away from

then on we want to delay one day from

the previous email okay and then on your

next emails you're just going to go and

select the previous email to let them

know what the order is of sending and

we'll click activate right there we now

have an email set up and ready to go and

what we need to do is connect we need to

tell system. IO hey we just R this email

automation we have this landing page

they need to work in sync with each

other so we're going to go to our sales

funnel right here remember we have our

fishing funnel that we built a little

bit ago and we're going to click on

automation rules and you can see right

here we're going to add a rule and what

we want is when someone subscribes or

puts in an email address we want

something to happen so we're going to go

right here and we are going to edit that

rule and what we want to do is add an

action right here and the action is to

subscribe to a campaign okay and we just

made that campaign so if you click on

this you're going to see it's this one

right here okay I think I forgot to

label it this was a test one but this is

the campaign right here and now we can

click save Rule and now it's all going

to flow someone's going to go they're

going to head to that first page that we

created they're going to put in their

email as soon as they put in their email

they're automatically going to be

subscribed and they're going to be given

that first lead magnet the second thing

that's going to happen is they're going

to end up on this thank you page they're

going to be sold at that point the first

affiliate product and then they're going

to check their inbox get their lead

magnet and for the next few days weeks

months years if you do well they're

going to be getting emails from you

selling them affiliate products that are

related to what they're interested in

which means that all we need to do is go

to the squeeze page we need to click on

view funnel step get that link right

here and we just need to send people to

this link that is our goal we need to

send the right people okay people that

are interested in learning to fish

people that are interesting that are new

to fishing we need to send those people

to this page and if we can successfully

do that we are going to make money as an

affiliate marketer so I want you to stop

take a breath this has been a long

training we're going to keep going with

it take a minute to breathe and digest

and and look back at this this picture

of the system right we've created the

system now we need to fill it with leads

these people that are going to be

putting in the email address and we kind

of talked about a bunch of different

ways but we're going to focus on YouTube

and I'm going to tell you why here in a

minute um we're going to focus on either

YouTube or short form video content and

there's a very specific reason that I

want you to focus on YouTube when we

look at all the platforms out there

where you can promote products from

YouTube to Facebook to whatever there's

a lot of social platforms and there's a

few search platforms Google and YouTube

being the primary too when someone is

going to social media right when I pop

up my phone and I hit Tik Tok or

Facebook or whatever it is I'm typically

very unmotivated I don't know many

people that hop onto Facebook filled

with motivation and start scrolling so

that type of person is typically a

little bit harder to catch their

attention to get them to go do something

they're not necessarily looking for

anything at the moment they're more than

likely looking to kind of not do

anything not think about anything and

really just shut down for a little bit

now we want to contrast that with

YouTube where let's be honest some

people do just hit up YouTube to hang

out and watch videos and see what comes

their way but a very large number of

people go to YouTube with a much more

Purpose Driven mindset for example if

you're watching this video there's a

good chance you went to YouTube and

typed in affiliate marketing course or

affiliate marketing tutorial how to get

started with affiliate marketing there's

a lot of different things that you may

have typed in to run into this video

would you like to try and sell to

someone or get a person on your list who

was kind of passively scrolling and you

were like hey check this out and they

were like okay and they put in their

email or would you like somebody that

was sitting there right then desire in

mind or problem in mind typing trying to

solve trying to get there and they saw

your content and they said yes that's

what I need and they went and they typed

in their email address they're ready

right then for that lead magnet to come

they're ready to use it right you want

that person they're just so much better

to sell to I can tell you this over and

over again so you're probably at the

point watching saying I don't want to be

a YouTuber I don't want to make videos I

would definitively say it's very hard in

2024 and 2025 to make money as an

affiliate marketer not putting out any

kind of video or putting yourself out

there you've got to learn to put

yourself out there now the second thing

you're saying is Well it doesn't matter

because I'm bad at video that's okay too

there's some really bad at video

YouTubers you're probably looking at one

right now in fact we're not going to be

making productions here we're going to

be helping people solve problems and

Achieve desires I don't care if you've

got a crappy image quality they don't

care if you don't have a cool background

with swirling purple and blue lights

that doesn't matter to them they want

you to solve their problems and help

them get their

desires so YouTube is the way to go and

step one in YouTube is is just figuring

out what your videos are going to be and

this is this is where most people freeze

they just start making videos hey I went

fishing today here's a fishing video

they're not necessarily creating videos

that people want to watch there's a

large number of people struggling with

that problem so we definitely want to

make videos where there's a lot of

interest there's a lot of people out

existed so there's a lot of tools that

cost money we're going to use a free one

it's called keywordtool.io and all we're

going to do when we get to keywordtool.io

keywordtool.io

is go up to the top and click YouTube

and then we're going to type in fishing

or we're going to type in our subject

matter says hey there's 702 keywords

things people type in that have to do

with fishing now I use a paid service

for this and so it's $100 a month and

I'm not going to refer you to that one

because it cost so much so we're going

to use this free one I would grab a

7-Day free trial then you can get all

this information for free but you can

see it's giving you all these keywords

that people are typing in fishing in the

dark now that's a song fishing and

camping fishing at night fishing Amazon

River fishing and cooking in the wild

these are videos people are looking to

look up right not necessarily very

helpful stuff fishing Big Fish these are

people that are just looking to watch

fishing videos these are fishermen so

let's go back and let's type in a little

more specific let's say fishing rod and

see what we get right fishing rod holder

fishing rod setup fishing rod for

beginners fishing rod repair how to

build your own fishing rod fishing rods

explained fishing rod tip repair fishing

rod storage ideas now you're starting to

see oh my goodness there's so many

things that people type in and we went

down a level right and there's 667

keywords all about fishing rods what if

I typed in fly fishing right we just got

a little more specific again fly fishing

for beginners for trout for Bas sorry

bass casting you see how specific we can

get here there there's hundreds of

videos we can make for each one of these

individual subjects it's going to be

harder for some of these big ones right

like you're probably not going to be the

guy that shows up in YouTube when

someone types in fly fishing but maybe

you can be the guy that shows up when

someone types in fly fishing with a

spinning rod or fly fishing accessories

maybe you can make a video about a list

of accessories maybe you're the guy that

makes the video about a bunch of

different fly fishing knots or Basics

the these smaller videos are ones that

newer channels have a much bigger chance

of showing up for and what our goal here

is is that someone heads to YouTube and

they type in fly fishing Basics just

like that and our video shows up they go

and they click on that video now this is

a competitive keyword okay we go we

click on that video this guy shows us

some Basics and you know what he's going

to do he's going to send us probably to

somewhere where he captures our email

address that's probably what's happening

right here we've got all these video

ideas now it wasn't hard to research

right we've come up with hundreds of

video ideas that we can make and what I

would say you're looking here for are

you're looking for people looking for

products people looking for Solutions

and people looking to achieve desires

and that's what your videos are going to focus

on now you're going to want to get

something in Google Sheets or in some

spreadsheet software where you're

keeping track of all of these all these

different ideas that you come with up

with it'll take you a few hours and

you'll come up with probably 50 to 100

different ideas of content that you could

create now once you've got 3 400 ideas

it's time to script out and start

filming and this is a process that most

people over complicated doesn't have to

be over complicated and most scripts can

be done in about 10 minutes especially

if you know what it is that you're doing

you have experience with that subject

matter right you'll notice we didn't go

and research one video idea and now

we're going to script it we're batching

so we got 300 video ideas now we're

going to do 5 10 15 outlines for these

video ideas all at once so we kind of

get our brains in different modes right

we're in research mode we're going to be

in scripting mode and then we're going

to film five or 10 videos at once this

will help keep you in a good flow and

help you get a lot more done when you

batch this way so when I outline it

looks something like this you can see

right here this is the exact dock that I

use for every single outline and you can

see right here I'm going to come up with

the title and we'll talk about titles in

a minute I'm going to come up with a

call to action meaning where is this

going to link to we're not going to make

a lot of money off of it if there's no

Links at all and then if I have any like

special things about that video now you

don't have to worry about this typically

until you get an editor and you don't

need an editor for the first little

while and I'm I'm being dead serious

when I say that when you're just making

tutorials and things like that you don't

need somebody to go and be flashy like a

lot of my videos sometimes tend to be

now all I have is a column that I will

do uh numbers here one two and you can

think of these as scenes right we've all

seen the movie scenes where they clap

and then they say scene one scene 2

scene three just makes it easier for you

and any editor you hire in the future to

understand exactly where that is when

you give comments and things like that

next I have an audio script now there

are people that script out every single

word of that video and I think you can

tell right you can typically tell when

someone's scripting a video One their

eyes might be doing a little bit of this

as they go along but two there's just

some unnatural things that tend to come

out when you're using a teleprompter and

so with my audio script I tend to do

more outlines talk about this explain

this go into some more detail about this

right just little little reminders of

where to go next and the beauty of

YouTube is that if I have an outline

here a bullet point here a bullet point

here a bullet point here I can stop

after every bullet I can talk for 30

seconds about what that bullet point

says and then I can stop gather my

thoughts think for a second okay read

that next bullet point okay think for a

second what am I going to talk about and

I can go right into filming editing

those little bits out is so easy you

just go in and clip them out really

quick in any free editing software that

you can find it makes it a lot easier

for you to gather your train of thought

and move on to the next thing and it

also makes you sound a lot more natural

when you're not using a script now the

last thing I'll put in there is just

some kind of visual script meaning

what's on the screen during this scene

am I sharing my screen is it just

showing me with a nice background like

this maybe I'm walking around you'll see

videos where I'm walking around in my

yard or something perhaps I'm talking

about something that makes more sense

for me to walk around whatever it is

I'll put a little visual script in there

and a lot of times like on videos like

this one the visual script is basically

copied all the way down it's me sitting

in my office sharing my screen which is

totally fine I just need to know that

ahead of time so to give you a good

example this video right here that we're

doing right now has a script and you can

see right here I don't need a lot of

visual script and pattern interupt I is

cuz I know I was just sitting in here

filming so I was lazy and didn't didn't

put that but you can see here I've got

an intro and this is the intro you just

heard that's word for word and then I've

just got bullet points hey we're going

to talk about choosing a niche hobby

passion these are the three niches right

I just have little bullet points in each

section that I'm going to go over and it

kind of just flows this is actually one

of my my more poorly done scripts simply

because this video is so long as you're

probably aware if you're still watching

it was a very hard script to make

because of how long the video was now

let's talk about three very important

things on this outline when you're

filming the first one is as soon as

you've solved their problem or given

them what they came to watch the video

has to end don't ramble don't go on

don't keep talking about things if you

continue to ramble most people will stop

watching after that and YouTube will

take that as a bad sign that it's not a

very well done video because everyone

stopped watching and didn't watch till

the end the second thing to note is

you're going to want to uh go start big

and then go small and what I mean by

that is you want to go big picture and

then start going step by step through

something on how to achieve a desire or

solve a problem right and if you look at

this video for example I I showed a big

picture of affiliate marketing we wrote

it all out on a piece of paper drew it

out for you this is the big picture then

we zoomed in and we started to work step

by step through each thing in the

beginning the best thing I could say is

start doing stuff online I just use

screen shares I use the built-in screen

sharing app on my computer quick time on

Mac I'm not sure what it's called on

Microsoft but I know it has one and I'm

literally just recording my screen and

talking and you're seeing that there's

nothing special nothing hard nothing

complicated about what I'm doing I'm

recording my screen and then just

showing you on the screen always want to

show if you can as opposed to tell okay

so you're going to sit down and you're

going to film and I'm going to say it

straight up right now your first video

is going to be terrible your second

video is going to be terrible your third

video might be a little less terrible

Maybe by your 20th 30th depending on how

experienced you are 50th video you'll

start to actually produce good videos

that you watch and feel somewhat good

about how you talked and how it was

edited and and kind of the whole

structure of it in general and YouTube

is like anything else like any sport or

anything else out there you've got to

get experience and get better at it

you'll get better at looking at the

camera if you go back and watch someone

my previous videos you'll see my eyes

I'm looking at myself I'm just staring

at myself I guess I'm self-absorbed or

something I got better and now I'm

better at looking at the camera and

staring right into that lens right into

your souls and then you'll find the same

thing you'll you'll get better with

talking there's a lot less uh um uh ums

you'll teach yourself to slow down if

you're a fast talker like me you'll

teach yourself to speed up if you're a

slow talker like I used to be and you'll

just improve and make make better videos

each time and you've got to just do that

game okay moving on we batch created all

this ideas for Content we've batch

outlined a bunch of different content

and now we need to come up with

thumbnails and titles I'm not going to

go into a ton of detail on this simply

because there's thousands of YouTube

videos by YouTubers that give you a

really good understanding of how to make

good titles and how to make good

thumbnails I will say this you want to

focus on your outline like the actual

content of your video your thumbnail and

your title those three things you want

to put all your effort into doing the

right high quality things on those three

things you want thumbnails that get a

lot of eyeballs to stop and stare at

them you want titles that get people to

read and be super interested like what

is going on in that video I have to

watch it here's a good example I got

100,000 subscribers in 4 days to prove

it's not luck now he's targeting two

things which is the ideal intersection

here he's targeting a desire but he's

doing it in a curious way everyone

watching this video right now is

probably about to head over there and

say how did he do that the Curiosity

factor is driving you nuts right how

could someone get 100,000 subscribers in

4 days there's a lot of videos with that

exact title go ahead and and test me on

that and so if you can make people

curious but also Target desires or at at

least one or the other of those two in

your titles you'll do great thumbnails

will catch their eye titles will draw

them into the video and then your video

will get them to watch and make you the

money you looking to make and then once

again one of the most key important

parts of this whole process is when you

upload the very first line of your

description has that affiliate link you

do not want a video to go viral and not

have an affiliate link mentioned in the

video and directly accessible down below

I promise it's been done by me multiple

times and there's nothing more

disappointing than getting 50,000 views

and have never mentioned that affiliate

link down below or forgot to put the

affiliate link down below or use the

wrong affiliate link or typed something

wrong in the affiliate link very

important that you make this last little

piece work most common question I get

here is I don't know what to use

equipment I've got an entire video on my

channel you can search we'll leave a

equipment but you don't need all my

equipment when I first started I didn't

have anything now I'm not going to rem

recommend you do that but I'm going to

kind of give you an order of what you

should get depending on your budget the

probably the most important thing is

going to be audio now I've got this is a

$400 mic or something but this is like

my fourth mic my first mic was just just

the audio on my computer and frankly a

Macbook has pretty good audio if you

want to go up one step from that there's a mic called a Blue Yeti which is a

a mic called a Blue Yeti which is a great mic if you're in a quiet

great mic if you're in a quiet environment and will give you enough

environment and will give you enough quality sound to not bother people
