now let's first talk about meditation
you need to know that the bible actually
says that we have to meditate on god's
word but the meaning of meditation here
is very different
from other religions like buddhism and from
from
well just how people use it today psalm
1 verse 2 says but his delight is in the
law of the lord and on his law he
meditates day and night and psalm 145
verse 5 says on the glorious splendor of
your majesty and on your wondrous works
i will meditate now you need to
understand that here and also in many
other bible verses
meditate just basically means to take
some time and to carefully think about
god and his word
it does not mean to go sit somewhere to
zone out and open yourself up to
spiritual forces in the air meaning
demons or to think about nothing
god's word actually tells us the
opposite to be sober minded 1 peter 5 8 says
says
be sober minded
be watchful your adversary the devil
prowls around like a roaring lion
seeking someone to devour
true biblical meditation is just you
taking some time putting god first in
your life above everything else you go
somewhere where it's quiet and you spend
time on god
thinking about him his word
talking to him reading scripture
thoughtful concentration on god's word
and prayer
god wants a relationship with you so he
wants you to spend time with him matthew
6 verse 6 says when you pray go into
your room and shut the door and pray to
your father who is in secret and your
father who sees in secret will reward you

if you're a true reborn christian
you don't need to do something weird to
try to connect with god you know
sometimes people pray and then i feel
like man god is not hearing me he's not
answering my prayers and then they try
certain things that the bible doesn't
even talk about to try and force god to
talk to them some people try mantras
controlled breathing or strange
relaxation techniques
and a lot of people try yoga there's
even christian yoga these days and it's
actually very dangerous because most of
these things
come straight from eastern mysticism god
does not want us to do
the things that other people do to
worship their gods
fake gods or shall i say demons because
we know behind every false idol false
god is a demon remember one corinthians
10 verse 19 to 22 says
what do i imply then that food offered
to idols is anything or that an idol is anything
anything
no i imply that what pagan sacrifice
they offer to demons and not to god
i do not want you to be participants
with demons you cannot drink the cup of
the lord and the cup of demons you
cannot partake of the table of the lord
and the table of demons
shall we provoke the lord to jealousy
are we stronger than he
so should christians do yoga is it okay
well first you need to understand what
real yoga is
some christians in the west today they
just see it as relaxing stretching exercises
exercises
improving flexibility
but real yoga teachers they know the
philosophy behind it and they know is
not just normal relaxing exercises
they know the philosophy behind it yoga
is around 5000 years old it started in
india and was created to be a path to
spiritual growth and enlightenment with
the god brahman
the word yoga actually means union and
it points to the union between your
temporary self the mind and the body
with the infinite brahman god
do you think that god will approve of it
i personally think no

so what is brahman exactly this god it
is basically the spiritual impersonal
hindu god
it is one with energy everything around
you everything that's been created they
think is god and even though it's a
spiritual god it does not want a
personal relationship with you now we
personally know that god is so much more
than that
he is not creation he created everything
he's much more powerful than creation
and he's a god of love god is love and
he wants a personal relationship with you

and yes he is spirit
and he can only be worshiped in spirit
and very important
and truth
john 4 24 says god is spirit and those
who worship him must worship in spirit and
and truth

now some christians say it's fine to do
yoga it's just stretching exercises
that's all i want to do
well if that was the case then why don't
you do something like pilates
because yoga prepares your body and mind
for spiritual exercises and it is based
on the belief that you and god are one
the god brahman this is just basically
self-worship and it is against god's
word teaching you that you become part
with god this god brahman with nature
and to find your answers
in life in this state of consciousness
and we know that this is a lie they say
it's to find unity with your divine self
but we know that is not the truth
the devil is the father of all lies
truth can only be found in scripture
from god's word jesus says in john 8 31
if you abide in my word you are truly my
disciples and you will know the truth
and the truth will set you free
now even from what i've just explained
to you there will still be some
christians people who say they are
christian and they will say ah it's fine
i'll just do yoga just to stretch they
still want to do it
don't do it don't be naive it is
dangerous it's just like saying you know
i'm just gonna play the ouija board just
for fun i don't really believe in it but
i'm just gonna do it for fun
well the demons are not going to see it
that way you are playing with fire
if you do yoga you take part in
something that was created for another
god false god and behind that false god
is a demon deceiving people remember one
corinthians 10 verse 19 to 20 says what

and worshiped and served the creature

should be done for god's glory
and in faith 1 corinthians 10 31 says so
whether you eat or drink or whatever you do

do all to the glory of god
if you do yoga with even just a little
bit of doubt in your heart if you don't
have peace from the holy spirit and you
still continue and you do it it is sin
romans 14 verse 23 says but whoever has
doubts is condemned if he eats because
the eating is not from faith
for whatever does not proceed from faith
is sin
have you truly listened to some yoga teachers
teachers
what do they teach you what do they do
while you do yoga with them what do you
think about their mantras while they do
yoga and the many idols statues or
pictures of them in some of their studios
studios
is this really god honoring
as a believer whose mind body and soul
is focused on being like christ to live holy
holy
is this right
as a believer of christ you should stay
away from all
occultic new age practices
and yoga is dangerous because it does
open you up to receive psychic
impressions don't play with this and
don't seek after these things these
spiritual experiences that god warns us
about in scripture leviticus 20 verse 6
says if a person turns to mediums and
necromancers whoring after them i will
set my face against that person and i
will cut him off from among his people
and deuteronomy 18 verse 10 to 13 says
they shall not be found among you anyone
who burns his son or his daughter as an
offering anyone who practices divination
or tells fortunes or interprets omens or
a sorcerer or a charmer or a medium or a
necromancer or one who inquires of the
dead for whoever does these things is an
abomination to the lord and because of
these abominations the lord your god is
driving them out before you you shall be
blameless before the lord your god
listen very carefully this is very dangerous
dangerous
if you play around with these things
occultic things new age things you're
opening yourself up
to demons to come into you ephesians 5
11 says take no part in the unfruitful
works of darkness
but instead
expose them
you know some people who practice yoga
or their definition of meditation
they do it to achieve spiritual awakening
awakening
and to open in some cases their third
eye or to awaken because they think it
will let them experience the spiritual
world the spiritual realm they think
that it's a kind of doorway to all things
things
psychic that's what they think the only
forces that are in the spiritual realm
is god his angels and the devil and his
demons the fallen angels and they are in
a war and so are you if you become a
reborn christian there is nothing more
than that a strange
kind of reality or another kind of truth
out there but
but
the demons
will try to let you think that there is
they will deceive you if you open
yourself up to the spiritual forces in
the air
demons can let you experience strange
things but remember
they are deceivers
what you feel
what you think you see
is not the truth remember the devil is
the father
of lies john 8 verse 44 says he was a
murderer from the beginning and does not
stand in the truth because there is no
truth in him when he lies he speaks out
of his own character for he is a liar
and the father of lies the devil and his demons
demons
they are powerful and they deceive
millions of people
in ancestor worship
we have that here in south africa where
people worship their ancestors they can
let you think that you're actually
speaking to your ancestors but is just a
demon pretending to be your dead father
or grandfather
in buddhism they can let you experience
enlightenment then we've heard of people
doing astral projection and that's just
two demons
one with the person one somewhere else
in the world
and then
they carry the information to each other
you get it you think that you've been in
america while you are sleeping but it's
just that demon seeing what's happening
and the next day when you wake up and
you look at the news it actually
happened but it's just a demon that
carried that information from the one to
the other demons can enter a person and
do supernatural things
in that person through that person like
telling fortunes interpreting omens or
talking to other demons letting the
person think that he or she is talking
to dead people there are many other
things that we can talk about but one of
the most dangerous things for the church
these demons counterfeiting the work of
the holy spirit in the church and they
pretend they're very good they pretend
to do the work of the holy spirit
so they
let people focus
on them these supernatural things
instead of the word of god living holy
growing spiritually
you know like the word of faith movement
being drunk in the spirit slaying in the
spirit disorder in the church
and even prophecies
1 john 4 says beloved do not believe
every spirit but test the spirits to see
whether they are from god for many false
prophets have gone out into the world
some christians are just so focused on
these spiritual experiences and they
they just want to hear prophecies and
they don't read they don't focus on
god's word anymore the aim of the devil
is to distract them
to focus
on all these experiences
instead of focusing on god's word
what he already revealed to us being led
by the holy spirit to grow spiritually
holy to grow in faith to become more and
more like jesus christ many people today
even here in south africa they claim to
be prophets
and they go just to prophesize
over people people believe them they
don't even test it
and then many of it
does not come true but if the prophecy
was from god
it won't be something vague it will be
clear and it will come true every single
time that is the example we see in
scripture god says in isaiah 55 11 so
shall my word be that goes out from my mouth
mouth
it shall not return to me empty but it
shall accomplish that which i purpose
and shall succeed in the thing for which
i sent it and 2 peter 1 21 says for no
prophecy was ever produced by the will
of man but men spoke from god as they
were carried along by the holy spirit
the prophecies in scripture
they are clear
and they always came true
if you think that you have the gift of
prophecy ask yourself this
is your prophecies clear
does it always come true
if you did not then there's only two options
options
you probably made it up or it comes from
a counterfeit spirit because you did not
test it have you ever tested the spirits
like one john 4 tells you to it says
beloved do not believe every spirit but
test the spirits to see whether they are
from god now please understand i'm not
saying that the holy spirit does not
speak to us today and lead us of course
he does
he does god speaks to us
i've made a whole video about that a
while ago that you can watch at the end
of this video but you know
i've watched a few people these prophets
who give prophecies to people and then
they feel so special
to have this attitude of look at me i'm
so special i know what god
knows and i can tell you just turn to me
you know it's like those people walking
on the street corners or in the
synagogues praying loudly so that
everybody can see how great they are
matthew 6 5 and when you pray you must
not be like the hypocrites for they love
to stand and pray in the synagogues and
at the street corners
that they may be seen by others
truly i say to you they have received
their award
but when you pray go into your room and
shut the door and pray to your father
who is in secret and your father who
sees in secret will reward you
now again i'm not saying that god does
not speak to us today if he does of
course he does he speaks to us through
the bible and through the holy spirit in
us through both the rima and laga's word
he leads us in specific situations and
tells us what to do if we pray
i just had to warn you about these type
of people who have an ego problem in the
church misleading a lot of people
the prophecy is so vacant most of it
does not even come true but people
listen to it and they think it is god
and then when the prophecy does not come true
true
they're angry or sad why why didn't god
do it i thought it's a prophecy
but it was never from god in the first
place i know of a woman who prophesized
a lot in the church and people started
to focus a lot more on her than on the
preaching in the church
and then she prophesied that the man
would be healed would be healed from cancer
cancer
and then he died a few weeks later
imagine that
the hurt she caused in that family
i wonder how god would deal with those
kind of people
pretending to be prophets
if you pray for a friend and god speaks
to you you need to make sure
that god spoke to you before you go and
talk to that person and say hey god told
me this
you need to be sure that you tell people
the truth this is not something
that you should play with and this is
not something new that's happening
it happened a long time ago even in the
old testament jeremiah 14 14 and the
lord said to me the prophets are
prophesying lies in my name i did not
send them nor did i command them or
speak to them they are prophesying to
you a lying vision worthless divination
and the deceit of their own minds
now let me get back to yoga meditation
opening up your third eye even buddhists
they do yoga and meditation to
to
achieve enlightenment
demons can give them a great experience
if they do it
and then they deceive them they
experience these feelings and
enlightenment and then they think wow
there's something there's something here
about this philosophy this is very
dangerous because you're opening
yourself up to demons who will give you
experiences letting you think that this
is true reality and christians today are
also deceived when they mix
christianity god's word with new age teachings

1 timothy 4
1 says now the spirit expressly says
that in later times some will depart
from the faith by devoting themselves to
deceitful spirits and teachings of demons

teachings of demons
and yes demons can come into you if you
practice these things
stay away from all things new age
occultic things do you know that the new
age basically believes god is everything pantheism
pantheism
all things are one monism
man is god the old lie of the devil
your mind creates reality your own
experience validates the truth
it sounds similar to some of the new
teachings in a lot of churches today
doesn't it that your mind creates reality
reality
this is disguised as the name it and
claim it philosophy they say all you
need to do is
speak what you want into the spiritual realm
realm
speak it into existence
if you do it god will make it happen no
no
god is not a genie in a bottle you don't
get wishes you are not god you don't
tell god what he needs to do
god tells you what you need to do of
course you can ask him for things as his
daughter as his son if you are a true
reborn christian but you cannot command
god what he should do
he will decide if he wants to give you
what you asked for
and he will if it is according to his
will remember
he is god not you
don't fall for that lie from satan that
he started with adam and eve isaiah 44 6
says thus says the lord the king of
israel and his redeemer the lord of
hosts i am the first and i am the last
besides me there is no god
now let me just quickly talk about
another reason why some people would
want to do yoga and meditation
they do it to find peace to relax to
calm down if they're angry as well to
find rest
you know i've seen a guy who stayed with
me in china
and every time
he had some anger issues but every time
he got angry every time he had anxiety
and he was stressed
he would go and do yoga time and time
again and you would say i just need to
get i need to do some meditation and yoga
yoga
and then he would do it over and over
and over and over and actually over the
three months that we stayed together he
got worse
and you know it just made me realize as
a reborn christian i had christ i always
had peace in me
wherever i went because god is with me i
didn't need to take time out to try and
do some yoga or some meditation
how wonderful is it to be a true
christian in a living relationship with
god almighty where he lives in you and
you live in the spirit through the
spirit that you are peaceful even in
times of tribulation because you trust
in him and he leads you forward as true
christians we don't need yoga to find peace
peace
we already have it
in christ you don't need to go
sit in a room and
hum and zone out
jesus says in john 14 27
peace i live with you my peace i give to
you not as the world gives do i give to
you let not your hearts be troubled
neither let them be afraid
if you live in a true relationship with
god then you have that peace that
surpasses all understanding philippians
4 6 says do not be anxious about anything
anything
but in everything by prayer and
supplication with thanksgiving let your
requests be made known to god and listen
to this and the peace of god which your passes
passes
all understanding will guard your hearts
and your minds in christ jesus
now the only times when you won't have
100 peace within you
when you feel ah there's something
between me and god
that will be when there's sin
you need to go and ask god to forgive
you and you will and you'll feel that
peace again you'll feel
free open and you'll
feel like you're in the relationship
with god again in your relationship with
him is restored
and then
you won't have 100 peace
if you have not yet fully surrendered
every aspect of your life
