discussing the cognitive function known
as extroverted sensing or SE what is
extroverted sensing both of the sensing
functions deal with the awareness of
sensory experience anything to do with
the five senses so what you taste feel
smell touch or see those things are tied
to the sensing functions
while introverted sensing or Si governs
the realm of personal experience SC
governs the realm of collective
experience so an SI user would say this
is how I am experiencing this and an SE
user would say this is what they or we
are experiencing SC users then are aware
of how an experience impacts the five
senses of people around them but in SC
user's awareness goes one layer Beyond
The Five Senses Into the realm of attention
attention
SC users are aware of where other
people's attention is being directed
oftentimes especially for optimistic SC
users so the esps and enjs other
people's attention is what they're
seeking the most not all SE users want
constant attention but attention will
always refill an SE user when they're
running low
the SC function drives SE users to find
out how they can consistently compel the
attention of those around them
extroverted sensing is also the source
of one's performance all types can
perform in the broad sense but SC
performance is specifically expressed to
make a sensory impact on those around them
them
SC users perform in a variety of ways in
some cases the performance is a literal
performance like an athletic show
dancing acting but sometimes it's as
simple as just being the life of the
party the other part of SC performance
is much more practical in day to day
seus has Pride themselves on being able
to fix things and being able to
manipulate the physical environment
around them and they're also very
concerned with other people's
moment-to-moment comfort
so questions that an SE user might ask
would include things like are you
thirsty can I get you some water or you
seem really tired do you want to call it
a night
so just as any e-users manage the future
of others SC users manage the present
how does extroverted sensing work
extroverted sensing is tied via
cognitive access to introverted
Intuition or ni
cognitive access represents how two
functions are connected none of the
cognitive functions exist on their own
they exist in relation to other functions
functions
a cognitive axis is one of the ways that
cognitive functions communicate with
each other all SE users are ni users and
vice versa
if ni is desire then SC is the
expression of that desire
if you want to do something there is a
lag between envisioning it in your head
and actually doing it in a sexual
relationship SC users usually want to
give and lead the experience they impact
and shape other people's experiences by
creating Sensations SC users also make
decisions about what they want based on
what they observe in others
growing up seus or children latch on to
the actions and habits of those around
them activities they see their parents
friends or teachers doing are likely to
interest the SC user further most SC
users don't fully know what they want
until they witness it in others
what are SC users seeking SC users are
seeking two things loyalty and attention
reason being loyalty and attention are
the two biggest characteristics of

versus loyalty SC users are seeking
loyalty instead fastness from those
around them they want people to stick
around with them through thick and thin
they want people to put their
unquestioned faith in them and be their
strength and source of perseverance
their desire for someone is directly
affected by how loyal that person
appears to be and the more they want
someone the more their SE goes out of
the way to grab the attention of the SI
users around them and have more and more
shared experiences with them
the other side of loyalty however is
strength SC users intuitively know that
loyalty from a strong person who is
capable of persevering through
difficulty is inherently more valuable
than loyalty from a weak person who
might break under the slightest
adversity SCU users seek to increase the
strength of those around them
in effect SC users are only as strong as
the people close to them
second is attention
attention is the SI user's way of
expressing interest and loyalty to an SE
user it is the currency that se users
utilize to determine the quality of
their own performance
if an SE user isn't getting any
attention they interpret it to mean
their performance has to be turned up
and all SE users fear that if their
performance is not good enough they'll
be abandoned by others SC users cannot
be comfortable until the people around
them are they're very sensitive to the
Comfort level of others around them when
others aren't comfortable so are they
but if they can make people in their
environment comfortable then they can
finally be comfortable too ultimately SC
users lack an internal source of endurance
endurance
when the SE user is engaged in something
they enjoy time can fly
but left to their own devices SC users
will lose momentum without reaffirming
attention and loyalty from others SI
users help stabilize SE users and become
a source of strength so that the SE user
can truly accomplish whatever they want
how can extroverted sensors avoid their
SC pitfalls the biggest obstacle for SC
users is over relying on their SE is
about performance and SC users utilize
their natural ability to maneuver in the
present moment to solve problems and
attain their goals because extroverted
sensing is fueled by ni SC users have a
natural Viewpoint that they can
accomplish whatever they want as long as
there's enough passion behind the ACT
this however is not true
SC users naturally ignore the longer but
more reliable road to consistent
performance which is practice and
consistent hard work
if an essay user wants to be great they
need to incorporate their SI function if
SE is performance then SI is practice it
is practice it's discipline routine and memory
memory
if an sc user is committed to practice
they'll utilize their SI function to
store their practice and routine and the
seus's performance will go up
exponentially based on the practice they
put in
while SC users are more on the natural
Talent side SI users are on the hard
work side
when the SE user stops ignoring the hard
work side and faces their daily
challenges head on their skills will
increase to levels where they can always
guarantee you good performance
when the SC user pulls from both their passion
passion
and I and their hard work
S.I it will be hard for them to find an
obstacle to meet their match with
practice and with passion the SC user's
performance has a chance to become
