As somebody who has the Ammex Platinum
and who's been collecting cards for over
six years, more than 40 debit and credit
cards, people come to me and say, "Miko,
how can I apply for my AMX Platinum?"
And there's a catch because there's one
card that it's even better than that,
but I will explain it at the end. If you
still want to apply for your AMX
Platinum, especially in the US, you can
do that because of course then there's
the route in Georgia, right? You can get
an MX Platinum right away. Armenia right
away. In Paraguay, you can also get LX
platinum pretty easily after you are a
tax resident there. However, the coveted
one is the US one. Can you apply after
you open your LLC? That's usually a
beginner question because the LLC is not
going to give you a direct route to an
AMX platinum. What you need instead is
an IT number, the individual taxpayer
identification number. This number
ndigit code will allow you to get bank
accounts and a credit profile tied to
this identification in the US as a non-
US citizen. It's the equivalent to the
social security number for American
residents, taxpayers, and citizens. You
can have the ITIN without paying taxes
and then access the world of the US
banking and the US credit cards. The AMX
Platinum. Then after you get the itin
could you get it? Yes. However, it's a
card that requires a high credit score.
You cannot get it with the 350 400
credit score that you're going to start
with. So, you'll have to increase it
with other cards. You can start with the
beginner ones with AMX the blue cash for
example, one of the simple ones that you
go to the green, the gold, the platinum,
or you go with Chase, Bank of America,
Capital One, other cards that will allow
you to build credit. I explained that in
other videos. And after you have enough
high enough credit score 700, 720, 750,
then you can consider getting the MX
Platinum, which again I don't believe
it's the best card, but I'll get to that
in a second. The next question we get
is, can I then use my AMX Platinum to
pay for my Facebook ads to pay for all
my company expenses? And the answer is
technically yes. You can put business
expenses through your personal accounts,
your personal AMX Platinum. However,
you're going to have two issues here
you'll have to resolve. Number one is
the personal accounting. If you have a
company that has exam money in expenses,
in ads, inventory, or tools to run your
digital business, then you'll have to
reconcile personal expenses and business
ones to know where the money is coming
from and where the money is going. So,
it's more of an internal thing that
you'll have to handle with your
accountant, somebody who's doing your
bookkeeping. The second issue, I think
it's the most severe one, is you're
going to lose a ton of points by using
your AMX Platinum for ads. Because the
best card for ads by far, is the Ammex
business gold, not the platinum, but the
business gold. This card is going to
give you four points per dollar. So,
instead of using this one, use this one.
That one is fantastic for ads on the
business side. And in the personal side,
the AMX personal gold in the US gives
you great redemptions for dining
categories. So the platinum when you go
out and you finish a dinner and you put
the platinum in the table, it's more
like, you know, putting it like this on
top of the table, but it's not for the
points like or even the AMX black. It's
so funny, you know, when you see these
business owners that feel so proud of
the AMX Black and say, "Look at how much
I pay every year in fees to have the MX
Black." And then points wise, they are
just leaving a ton of points in the
table for every dinner that they pay
with the Alex black instead of the AMX
gold, which is the best for that. The
second best card is the Chaseifier
Reserve and then the Chase Inc.
preferred on the business side for
dining and ads categories respectively.
Both Chase cards give you 3x and 3x on
the points per dollar. So in case you
cannot access for some reason, use the
cheese card as an alternative. There's a
lot of difficulties to get AMX in the US
if you don't already have an AMX in
another country like Spain, Netherlands
or a country that Australia, UK that
allow global transfer. So it's an
internal program that Ammex has that
they don't have to verify you in the US
again as a new user. The process takes
10 minutes. Our clients leverage that
and it's the fastest way to get an AMX.
Even if you start with a very poor grade
score, doesn't matter because they don't
look at the grade score if you already
have an Amics in another country. So, I
would recommend that and that's going to
shortcut your way. If you have an Amx
platinum, you can get the platinum right
away in the US. If you have a gold, the
same thing in the US. Leverage that. But
again, choose wisely what card will you
use. Even the green AMX is really good
because it has similar advantages to the
AMX Gold, but it has a lower annual fee.
I know a gentleman that swears by the
green card. He does not get the gold.
He's just renewing the green because he
loves it and serves his purpose of
spending. He knows exactly what he
spends on and that's what works for him.
So again, don't get caught on the
flashiness of the MX Platinum, the MX
Black. Consider all the other ones and
know exactly how to get there through
increasing the credit score or through
the global transfer you choose. This
