0:02 As somebody who has the Ammex Platinum
0:05 and who's been collecting cards for over
0:07 six years, more than 40 debit and credit
0:09 cards, people come to me and say, "Miko,
0:12 how can I apply for my AMX Platinum?"
0:13 And there's a catch because there's one
0:15 card that it's even better than that,
0:16 but I will explain it at the end. If you
0:18 still want to apply for your AMX
0:20 Platinum, especially in the US, you can
0:21 do that because of course then there's
0:23 the route in Georgia, right? You can get
0:25 an MX Platinum right away. Armenia right
0:27 away. In Paraguay, you can also get LX
0:30 platinum pretty easily after you are a
0:32 tax resident there. However, the coveted
0:35 one is the US one. Can you apply after
0:37 you open your LLC? That's usually a
0:40 beginner question because the LLC is not
0:42 going to give you a direct route to an
0:44 AMX platinum. What you need instead is
0:46 an IT number, the individual taxpayer
0:49 identification number. This number
0:52 ndigit code will allow you to get bank
0:55 accounts and a credit profile tied to
0:57 this identification in the US as a non-
0:59 US citizen. It's the equivalent to the
1:02 social security number for American
1:05 residents, taxpayers, and citizens. You
1:07 can have the ITIN without paying taxes
1:10 and then access the world of the US
1:13 banking and the US credit cards. The AMX
1:15 Platinum. Then after you get the itin
1:18 could you get it? Yes. However, it's a
1:20 card that requires a high credit score.
1:23 You cannot get it with the 350 400
1:25 credit score that you're going to start
1:27 with. So, you'll have to increase it
1:29 with other cards. You can start with the
1:32 beginner ones with AMX the blue cash for
1:34 example, one of the simple ones that you
1:36 go to the green, the gold, the platinum,
1:38 or you go with Chase, Bank of America,
1:40 Capital One, other cards that will allow
1:41 you to build credit. I explained that in
1:44 other videos. And after you have enough
1:48 high enough credit score 700, 720, 750,
1:49 then you can consider getting the MX
1:52 Platinum, which again I don't believe
1:54 it's the best card, but I'll get to that
1:56 in a second. The next question we get
1:58 is, can I then use my AMX Platinum to
2:01 pay for my Facebook ads to pay for all
2:04 my company expenses? And the answer is
2:06 technically yes. You can put business
2:08 expenses through your personal accounts,
2:11 your personal AMX Platinum. However,
2:12 you're going to have two issues here
2:14 you'll have to resolve. Number one is
2:16 the personal accounting. If you have a
2:19 company that has exam money in expenses,
2:21 in ads, inventory, or tools to run your
2:24 digital business, then you'll have to
2:26 reconcile personal expenses and business
2:28 ones to know where the money is coming
2:29 from and where the money is going. So,
2:31 it's more of an internal thing that
2:32 you'll have to handle with your
2:34 accountant, somebody who's doing your
2:36 bookkeeping. The second issue, I think
2:38 it's the most severe one, is you're
2:40 going to lose a ton of points by using
2:42 your AMX Platinum for ads. Because the
2:46 best card for ads by far, is the Ammex
2:49 business gold, not the platinum, but the
2:51 business gold. This card is going to
2:53 give you four points per dollar. So,
2:56 instead of using this one, use this one.
2:59 That one is fantastic for ads on the
3:01 business side. And in the personal side,
3:05 the AMX personal gold in the US gives
3:07 you great redemptions for dining
3:10 categories. So the platinum when you go
3:12 out and you finish a dinner and you put
3:14 the platinum in the table, it's more
3:16 like, you know, putting it like this on
3:18 top of the table, but it's not for the
3:20 points like or even the AMX black. It's
3:21 so funny, you know, when you see these
3:23 business owners that feel so proud of
3:26 the AMX Black and say, "Look at how much
3:28 I pay every year in fees to have the MX
3:30 Black." And then points wise, they are
3:32 just leaving a ton of points in the
3:34 table for every dinner that they pay
3:36 with the Alex black instead of the AMX
3:37 gold, which is the best for that. The
3:39 second best card is the Chaseifier
3:41 Reserve and then the Chase Inc.
3:43 preferred on the business side for
3:46 dining and ads categories respectively.
3:49 Both Chase cards give you 3x and 3x on
3:51 the points per dollar. So in case you
3:54 cannot access for some reason, use the
3:56 cheese card as an alternative. There's a
3:59 lot of difficulties to get AMX in the US
4:01 if you don't already have an AMX in
4:04 another country like Spain, Netherlands
4:06 or a country that Australia, UK that
4:08 allow global transfer. So it's an
4:10 internal program that Ammex has that
4:11 they don't have to verify you in the US
4:14 again as a new user. The process takes
4:16 10 minutes. Our clients leverage that
4:19 and it's the fastest way to get an AMX.
4:21 Even if you start with a very poor grade
4:22 score, doesn't matter because they don't
4:24 look at the grade score if you already
4:25 have an Amics in another country. So, I
4:28 would recommend that and that's going to
4:29 shortcut your way. If you have an Amx
4:31 platinum, you can get the platinum right
4:33 away in the US. If you have a gold, the
4:35 same thing in the US. Leverage that. But
4:38 again, choose wisely what card will you
4:40 use. Even the green AMX is really good
4:42 because it has similar advantages to the
4:46 AMX Gold, but it has a lower annual fee.
4:48 I know a gentleman that swears by the
4:49 green card. He does not get the gold.
4:51 He's just renewing the green because he
4:54 loves it and serves his purpose of
4:55 spending. He knows exactly what he
4:58 spends on and that's what works for him.
5:00 So again, don't get caught on the
5:03 flashiness of the MX Platinum, the MX
5:04 Black. Consider all the other ones and
5:06 know exactly how to get there through
5:08 increasing the credit score or through
5:10 the global transfer you choose. This
